[Music] hey guys and welcome back to another video uh today we're going somewhere which is going to be a lot of fun to see it's also going to be quite sad but i'll explain everything on the way there but first of all let's just get going because i want to go i want to get out i've also done a buy of a stabilizer so we're going to have some fun with that and see what kind of shots we can get we're going to a place known as the corrado graveyard it's pretty much a scrap yard for corrado's i don't know how big it's going to be i don't know if it's just going to be about 20 cars in the corner of the field or if it's going to be like a full-on scrapyard i don't know what i'm going there for if you guys remember in my last video i spoke about adding a vent into the side of the wing for the new ram air filter to get it to uh feed cold air directly to the fuel wall rather than rather than suck it up from the engine bay doing that alongside the heat shield that we got planning which i should be doing it soon it should work out pretty well we're about 20 minutes away and when we get there i'll show you guys around and we'll just have a bit of fun and see what's there so i'll see you guys there [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] it's quite a sad place to be but um yeah i think we'll head off right look at them lights they're the halos man [Music] right what we got here duff this is my new wing not new wings very old it's covered in crap it needs a clean and there's a watch so tough if you're looking not off this side looking very tough so before doing any work on it i need to make sure that it fits correctly and it's the actual right spec because there's an early spec and there's a late spec and i'm confident this is a late spec but we're going to take the wing off of the corrado and then compare it to see if this should actually look like this on the inside and that's the right fit and then i'm gonna try and fit this to the car to make sure it's all good weather's been saying that it's gonna rain for the past two days and so far we haven't had much of it here so i'm going to take the card down the end and do the work down there hope that's not too messy in there [Music] [Music] new wing framework's not that great but it doesn't matter because it's going to get painted anyway once the new event is on so let me quickly show you what is going to be happening we've got a big boy airfield from around there thank you very much ryan for sending me that sounds amazing looks amazing but we've got a bit of a problem the problem is that there's no heat difference from the engine so it's like this part of the engine gets so hot and it's just going to suck up all the ends at the moment we've got nothing we've got nowhere to feed a cold air intake from one of the popular things to do is to delete the charcoal kind of stuff that's the one but that requires bungs redirecting stuff so i'm not going to do it at the moment i want to make this car look good and perform good and i don't want to delete anything at the moment when i don't really know too much about the cars so what the plan is this is a mercedes sprint event i don't know what year because almost all of the mercedes sprinters i looked at had no vent on the wing so i found this one luckily on facebook marketplace and it's going to sit somewhere like that or is it going to sit that way somewhere there so it gets cold air simples i just cut myself first thing i need to do take the bumper off then we can take the wing off and we can compare it and that's what i'm gonna do now so should we and should we get the time lapse going let's get time let's go [Music] there's hardly any guides out there on how to remove a front bumper with no pictures all i can see is guides saying remove two two two bolts this side and two bolts that side and then undo the fogs that's all right great what two bolts turns out you actually need to undo the bolts which i think is the engine mounts so you have to raise the engine slightly with another jack while you're doing this and it doesn't help that i have an oil cooler fitted to the car already so that i had to find a way i just work it all out for myself basically but the bumper should hopefully now slide right off oh thank you so you're quite heavy i might need we did you oh now we go get the wing off but i found that the right the front of the car i'll show you in a sec i'll show you once we've got the wing off let's just get the wing off first this is this is the main priority [Music] there we go so the wing fits thankfully it's got all the same mounting points and everything massive pain in the ass but this is what i was on about the front so this whole i think this is the radiator support panel is what i've been told and it's very rusty as you can see lots of rust a few holes it's not too bad is it salvageable though well that's how you get your bumper wing off i'm honestly so tired i need food everything this side of this tray is all the bolts that came from this car and once the bumper's back on i got off i gotta find out which bolt it does what but i kind of remember them but that's for the underneath and this i was figure out [Music] so looking back i need a lot of practice i need a lot of practice with that stabilizer i'm alright doing it with just the camera but when there's a stabilizer involved it's like a completely different setup and yeah i need some practice with it this is where we're at the car is just in pieces the whole thing needs to just be sanded down and there's on close inspection there's quite a few dents in the actual fender in the wing it's easier to see from this side there's one there there's a few down there and there's one there we're probably gonna have to yeah sand it down and my mate joe is gonna lead the way because he's the guy who does the welding joe if you're watching this massive thanks for this we're all looking forward to doing it it's gonna be fun but yeah we decided that event is gonna go i think that way and it's going to sit about there on this bottom part i'm going to cut a hole in the actual inner wing as well and yeah we'll sort out so thank you guys for watching please drop a like if you enjoyed watching this video and you want to see more more stuff on the corrado more stuff of me doing bits i really want to convert all this into some sort of chill area clean it out but there's so many cobwebs i don't even know where to begin everywhere i will do that i think i'll give it a shot thank you guys for watching and i'll see you in the next video drop a like if you enjoyed the video like i said and i'll see you in the next one
