I Stayed at a Manga Hotel.

[Music] hey friends uh Kadesh and today I'm at a place called the manga art hotel and get this it's like a hotel but you can read as much manga as you want now usually the only reason that I've never done a video one of these things is one it's usually really hard to film that they've given us permission today and second most of the manga is usually just in Japanese but a lot of the manga has the Japanese version and the English version so it's totally foreign friendly if you guys like want to try and just experience a manga hotel look dude they've got like oh yes to be boon-'boon here it got all yes me pumping in English and they've got the complete set in Japanese they've got one-week friends in English and one we're friends and Japanese like not all of the manga have an English version I'm guessing that that's kind of debated on if they could find it or get it imported there's still a pretty good collection here so like for example this one I don't think has an English version from what I can see from it but it also gives a recommendation so if you guys like want to get the manga at a later time they have the summary of what the manga is about right here so they have like the Japanese summary and right under English oh my god they have Nausicaa dude you have Nausicaa I need to see this it's in English oh my god so the reason I found out about this place was because I was a legit just looking for manga hotels and then I stumbled across this one and it was so aesthetically pleasing and it was so perfect that I wanted to share it with you guys so my friend called them up and they were nice enough to have us just kind of give you guys a tour for a YouTube video so I'll put a link in the description if you guys are interested and you know more about this hotel my otaku mind is like I have this book you know they have a lot of Jojo manga here so they got the Japanese version and right underneath that they got the English version because there's a lot of people that want to start Jojo so even though this isn't everything this is pretty good collection they have here so number one anybody so you and all of your friends can just come here and stay in this hotel even just for a few hours or just to check it out because I think this is probably the best manga hotel that I've seen so far as far as four foreigners go got Akira as well so I think this one might be the English I think it's a Japanese yeah this is the Japanese version this is the English version right over here I can tell because I saw this at Barnes & Noble yep see look at that you can start on Akira now they also told me that not only can you just read the manga here you can actually buy these manga off the shelves so if you've loved a manga so much like once you've stayed here and you want to continue it they'll sell it to you right I don't know like how much it can probably be oh yeah they got the whole attack on Titan thing well I think that's a lot of it oh wait so we're just allowed to borrow this ladder yeah otherwise you can't get little yeah that's Tokyo ghoul because the English one yep it's the English one I was trying to look for the price but if you guys are curious on how much each manga is it'll say it on the back so this one for Tokyo ghoul oh that's actually quite expensive it's two thousand two hundred eighty yen which is what like 20 bucks and this one is 619 euro sorry okay the reason I said euros because there's an e next to it but it's just an e it's not even the euro simple he was neat I'm so I'm so sorry in Europeans this one silver spoon I think this is about a cow defying the expectation it's not about a cat oh yeah this is the English version I might want to read up on that so point being there's a lot of manga here and a lot of choices that you guys can read now I know a lot of you are really curious about the capsules themselves so let's go into them I don't know if they just register you one or if you just walk into an empty capsule hotel but we're gonna go into number 501 so if you guys ever come here no I stayed in this one oh so complimentary towel and complimentary I think this is a robe of some sort they got a pillow oh and nice comforter for you to get I don't know if they have pajamas for you buttocks I brought my own pajamas to this because I wanted to have like the full experience so it's really small it's compact but really really cozy and they have these hangers so you can just hang stuff there you've got like a shelf so it can put your belongings on here and really you can just close up the curtain and forget everything just you know be in your own little world reading endless amounts of manga so just like a lot of places in Japan you do have to take the train the station that we came in from is Olga Amachi so write that down Google Maps might tell you a different station but we've been told that Olga Omachi is probably the most convenient way to get here so I think the next thing I want to do is probably get into my pajamas [Music] okay this is the woman's floor is Joey want to come in here yep I just I I can't until 7:00 p.m. I'm gonna check out the toilet and that's anticlimactic oh they all saw the shower area kind of like here they got body so shampoo conditioner and it's not that I think close this yeah and just do your thing and just change man dude one could live in here this is like this could be an otaku it's just you know room for all them so before you go to bed and get your pajamas you can just brush your teeth here it says on this sign right here that you can't use a blow dryer between I guess midnight and 7:00 a.m. because you'll wake people up the manga room a polar bear in love that's a good manga it's really really cute oh this looks a lot like the other floor except oh this is all like shoujo manga so this floor I guess all the manga is kind of like designated to or kind of aimed towards girls so they got 10-count polar bear and love lots of shoujo manga here I'm guessing that they probably have Sailor Moon or something oh they got orange and it's the English version too oh yeah there's a terrorist they didn't even realize that oh wow sorry okay I couldn't see dude I like you know if you're having a stressful day or you just want to get away and just read manga and you don't even want to be in your house because we work from home so we could easily just you know get one of these capsules and just have time to ourselves I could come out here on the terrace so even though this is the women's floor guys are allowed to come up here before 7:00 p.m. because obviously they have other manga on this floor like for example LaMotta alchemist is here and it wasn't on the other one land of the lustrous is here it wasn't downstairs well they have my favorite here the gods lie which from the looks of it it's the English version and I always push for this manga to be right because I feel like this one needs so much love so now you guys know you're God's light woman's floor downstairs you guys can come here and if you're a male I guess you can come here before 7 p.m. it's oh no no stop own stuff okay no that's Hitomi Tanaka cuz that's what came out of your mouth yes I just don't like you to meet I'm gonna go oh god no yeah uh Connell my friend gave this to me and wants me to read the back my boy do I want to read this it's an English instead of that why don't you read banana banana fish and it's an English oh I love this one girl from the other side and they have the Japanese and the English version here I think the thing I really like about the manga art hotel is that not only looks good it's aesthetically pleasing it also has the biggest selling point from you which is English manga which makes it pretty foreigner friendly for English speakers and I really want them to get like more traffic from foreigners because this place is really new I don't know exactly when they opened but I'll put a
