I Spent My Entire Life Savings On Explosives in Hydroneer

oh hey there i'm blitz welcome back to a game called hydroneer does anyone remember it it's game where i made gigantic machines to dig up massive amounts of gemstones get rich and then cry when the game inevitably crashes because i had way too much going on at any one given time but the good news is that uh well the developer made the game even more confusing yay oh oh oh ho uh-huh uh-huh yeah yeah yeah what are you doing what are you doing truck just perfect nailed the land there's this new thing called itchy carts uh-huh where you can buy carts instead of driving the truck around you can just like pick up a wooden cart and then drive it everywhere and then there's the blitz logo over here new power and logic dispensary oh what is this oh it's a statue of me and inside hobson's power works there are a ton of new items power battery we've got elbow power links that's right we went from hydro powered to now actual power uh which is kind of crazy should be able to make all sorts of weird things now these run off for shards so it generates power using the shards in the game and then we also have a logic system which allows us to like control things which is even more confusing and a palette because we needed it but you saw the thumbnail and you were probably wondering how i could get my hands on some of these explosions explosives that's what we're gonna do today we're gonna buy a buttload of these if i can find where i left my money where did i leave my money is your money hey i found money i suppose it probably needs some of this logic stuff to start the chain reaction logic switch that should do it and then maybe maybe this us we'll just try that and we'll just go over to this claim because frankly i don't like it and i've never done anything here but i don't even know if i own it i don't so i think i'm gonna buy one of these carts yeah we'll plop that hole an agile agile fast whoa whoa how does this thing work right do i that's weird am i is it oh it pulls behind me okay just click it click let me out let me out i'm stacking the stupid cart bro no not like this and i'll put my money in the back of it uh-huh no crap really i just i buy a brand new cart and the game treats me like garbage okay come on money come on money come with me okay i have a cart this was not nearly as exciting as i'd hoped it to be plop that in the hole click the button and now i own it so i should just be able to grab these and place them down somehow okay we got one there and then i got the thingy can i just attach the thingy onto the thingy and go oh well that worked i got a little hole what's this oh i made scrap metal because that was the oh yeah shut up don't crawl at me so i'm probably going to need another one of these and then like a t-cable so this gives me some ideas what happens if i just kind of you know drop that in the hole does it explode if i put another bomb in here and of course i really can't put a bomb in here can we say the b word on youtube i don't i'm not i'm not sure here we'll drop that we'll grab this one there it's not a bomb it's mining explosives no i'm stuck and if we plop on that goomer right here and we turn it like such as that and we take this one and we go boop and doop and then we boop this newt to bring you back in and okay now the question is does this explode this one down here and the answer i don't know but we're gonna see if we find out i'm gonna put one i'm gonna drop one right next to it i'm guessing it's gonna explode but i don't know what magnitude it's gonna explode okay ready i'm excited i hope you're excited i'm excited ready is it boom oh okay they broke oh it looked like it did it did knock a hole over here so it must have worked then we got a bunch of scrap which is really annoying but that explosion radius isn't that large so the next question is what happens if you explode the scrap i plop that on there put that there and if we just load this hole up with all of the tnt what's gonna happen kind of wish our dump truck would literally dump but no can't have anything useful in the game and it would probably cause a physics explosion which would be hilarious but we wouldn't get anything in the right spot all right for science purposes we're just gonna you know back up the old derp dirt mobile right on top of it maybe come on dirt mobile we're gonna get a little speed before we do this come on come on you got it you got it okay maybe maybe he doesn't have it incoming yeah that should work pretty well okay i will just flip flip the doohickey and we'll just flip the doohickey oh okay that was fun it didn't blow up our truck though huh i made a bigger hole it's too bad i really wanted to blow up the truck so i'm not gonna lie there aren't any other better ways that i would rather spend my afternoon than purchasing large quantities of explosives nope this is exactly how i want to spend today the next three hours so i'm starting to fill up a little bit here but the game is starting to to lag pretty heavily i don't know why there's only a couple hundred explosives laying down in the back of my truck what would happen if i just lit one of those fuses i'm going to totally buy another one of these logic switches and i think i just want to pop one off so we'll just connect it with a straight cable okay let's hope that the truck works properly oh oh hey it's actually driving i'm a little concerned that it's actually working oh boy it okay it's not turning right oh no it's leggy yeah it definitely think it definitely doesn't turn right oh gotta take it slower oh my oh no everything's okay all 12 frames that we're getting right now don't worry game there's only about 250 explosives in the back of this truck we can make it just fine now for science purposes i just backed up my save file i just kind of want to dump the truck right into here uh-huh uh-huh tell me again how how are we doing today game how good job i appreciate you um please please put my truck thank you thank you how did i know there's this isn't the this is not the area that i was gonna blow up game but i mean i could i mean and we could i could just drive it underground and nuke my old base i mean we have a save backup don't we this would be a fun experiment ready get set activate oh oh it'll blow up in the back of your truck that just means i have to come back to the other base and fill up this hole it's pretty easy not gonna lie i just click and drag and click and dump and drop and grab if you haven't figured it out already my goal is to crash the game with the big explosion okay so we got about 200 explosives in a single hole um i don't know what's gonna happen i'm hoping it crashes the game but maybe not oh oh okay didn't go ready get set activate wait did i die i didn't die oh didn't die now it made a bigger hole though i can start it good with a single explosive that didn't oh because it's still in the truck now i feel like we need to fill up this hole full of explosives and you know the drill i just magically drive cross country until my truck gets all derpy and starts flying away uh-huh yes and then i go and hit the unstuck button which lands me not where i want it to go is it is it done now are you done are you done truck you're gonna lay down play nice hey we did it we made it we made it well done and unstuck uh oh no no not like this no i'm glad that this bug got fixed where we can do this again somehow i landed right next to my house i don't understand this but thankfully i can drift my way into base where i can buy infinitely more explosives also did you know this is the only game i know of where you can sprint backwards yeah you got you got regular walking sprinting then you have regular walking backwards and sprinting backwards there's something very satisfying about sprinting backwards i want to try it in real life i think one of my favorite hobbies is making games cry there's something just very satisfying about hearing the fans on my computer just spin and whirl and whine and complain as i drive another load of 50 000 money's worth of explosives into a mine i'm glad it's winter right now because i have no need for a space heater that computer is way hot and oh boy oh oh here we go right right into the mine oh no i can't control i cannot i can't this is okay i actually kind of controlled it nope nope stop stop wait what it kind of stopped oh that's because it got stuck in the dirt no no not that again you know one bad thing about doing this with a low frame rate is it making me a little bit nauseous yeah just the constant running back and forth and spending 200 000 money on explosives i just make me a little bit not in the happiest moment in my belly so that's gonna be the last ones i buy i will try to like drive this thing back over there again i might have done a couple other trips already oh because i've been recording this video for like four hours now even though it doesn't look like it don't worry there is like literally hundreds of these barrels down in that hole it just doesn't look too impressive yet i'm hoping that this load is pretty cool and then this happens again i'm not sure why this keeps happening but i really hope that all of those things that i have don't get destroyed i'm stuck because sometimes when this happens you lose everything that's in the back your vehicle because it flies off of the map like we are right now oh balls it's gone it's gone i just lost like 200 things in the back of my truck yep it's gone it's gone now all i got left is this punk of garbage i wish this one would die in a fiery spider ball and death like the last one did uh why don't you get eated off the map you stupid truck huh now you won't even go you're just gonna sit right here huh is that what you're gonna do with yourself so now i have to run all the way back to the shop and grab the remaining pennies that i have jump on a house come on jump jump why am i i'm stuck i'm stuck in a house and then head on over to the tractor store oh we have different color tractors they're all the same price hello blue tractor i like you maybe you won't fly away and leave me make me sad inside click it nice then i'll drive my brand new tractor all the way back to the explosive store and then for the next 30 minutes i'm going to purchase more explosives until every single one of my monies is gone all of them all gone hey so i might have i just spent all my money or most of it anyway most of my money making a gigantic pile of explosives there's something very satisfying about unloading a truck that doesn't want to fly away and then putting all of the explosives on top of a big gigantic pile way up in the sky yeah i don't know what that exciting part is probably the anticipation of a large explosion my dude's like huh oh wait up there sometimes if you place these just right they fly away like like our truck flew away oh oh no that one didn't fly oh dead i'm going to do another one are you ready and hey i just took you out of the truck do you like it in there is it nice and warm and snuggly all right we'll put that one here just want to build my stack of tnt even higher look at how tall i am and [Music] i gotta figure out how far i can launch these things ready i don't know where that one went okay how about this one ready to go oh that was pretty good that's kind of got some distance on that one i feel like this should be an olympic sport like bomb launching probably not a good idea not in real life anyway oh here's the last one no i'm stuck i'm stuck in the bombs unstuck unstuck of the bums that's a large pile plus it goes way underground like way underground you can't even see the bottom down in there this will be fun i need to collect you from my science experiment let's put you um can you fit in here there that's a good spot oh i like that idea and then i'll load up my little trailer full of these wires got him oh most of them come here little dude i need you in my life come here buddy don't float weird stuff okay and you put in the hole and then we'll go with some spots i need that sound effect rather than the rolling of the tires it needs to be swastika helicopter and no don't don't say that oh thank you no no no no no no no no no okay thank you and then we'll put you right here i'm hoping that's far enough away does that look far enough away maybe and after a quick save file back up i found another piece of explosives way over here did i just say explosives i just made up a new word i like it and it'll bound and jump all the way over here we have to get every single bit of explosions explosives ready to go and then where should i put this one i feel like this is an art on where best to put your explosives at does this a good like i feel like a goat climbing up on an explosive ladder nice now all i need to do is wait for the sun to be on this side of it not on that side of it so i can get a thumbnail and you know what i think this is too far should i practice i'll do a practice buzz okay yeah that worked see i'm practicing uh-huh good no no no stop that no more practice buzzing right now there that looks nice that looks real nice there what do you think about that for a thumbnail i mean you clicked on the video so i it was good i think you know what we should actually i feel i'm feeling like for thumbnail mode we need to just move this right over one more like this is the hardest part about making videos making sure you have a good clickable thumbnail and a good title that goes with it look at that that's legit right there should we blow it up now i kind of want to blow it up dude should we blow it up ah i don't want that oh a little bit more over see we got the rule of thirds in here i like that i like that right there ready are you ready i'm excited i'm so excited right now are you did you know i'm excited let's move this back just so i uh can get it and not blow myself up and then see what everything happens oh man explosions and games are my favorite thing i wish they were had a bigger radius like you could buy a nuke that would be exciting i should mod it and exchange the explosion radius like 700 times bigger all right let's do this whoa are you ready i'm ready and boom oh whoa look at all the flying barrels look at the big hole i made that was exciting let's see how close to bedrock am i oh okay ready one we're actually pretty close i think yep yep there's bedrock yay we did it we exploded the world using all of the money that i have in the game so if i want to do anything else i need to make more money yikes well uh keep your stick on the ice we'll catch you next time bye i'd also like to thank ben ellen
