today i try something different again i spend 100 days in subnautica below zero searching and finding the truth about my sister learning that i wasn't alone on the planet this time and coming across right i guess i'm gonna go to that cool is that always there in my travels to the cachet supply there was a new but old biome with different looking kelp all around this new but old area was the arctic kelp forest a place with red looking seed clusters and a slew of many neutral fishes swimming about just before reaching the cachet supply i came across these new looking fish just swimming about hello oh i don't have a scanner oh my god oh wait i can pick that up ah let it go let it go let's try to aim me new creature discovered hey look the thing i'm holding is literally trying to eat me another thing that i found so cool in subnautica below zero were the pre-recorded messages within the pdas themselves i don't know uh okay so what's this i'm telling you sammy you see some weird things when you spend half your day in a sea truck more vandalism was it the sea monkeys again i don't think so i can't shake the feeling this planet is cursed there's no such thing as a curse yeah you're probably right that's nothing you wouldn't want to hear about it anyway just a huge creature frozen in ice what where in a cave not far from your lab and here's the extra weird part as soon as i called it in they closed off the area don't want anyone going in there but why sammy i'm no biologist but i think there was something wrong with it its skin just seemed off alien an alien on planet 4546b no i'm serious sam something ain't right i wish i could show you but i can't get back in there you can but i might know how to whatever you're thinking you never had this conversation picked up a beacon and medkit just before heading back to the life pod there was another fish that didn't like me so much what are these things though oh i can't move what though are you kidding me hold on come on come on come on oh i have to oh my god i click that is really cool and terrifying now using the fabricator for the first time it gave me the ability to cut many things with my new knife done and done whoa okay yes i didn't know i could do that cool cutting these shrooms cutting creep vine i like cutting stuff new blueprint synthesized did a little more spelunking below looking for materials that would become my scanner with everything in hand we did get a little pda update a little nervous about dropping into an unknown area but luckily this biome seems to have an abundance of minerals i can use for tools and upgrades i didn't want another situation like byzantos five when xenoworks dropped me off there were barely any resources i survived off the land for three months with just a knife my lucky pda and some rope i am still kind of proud of that though so put those ribbons the battery and then we do scanner oh it man it even shows you the charge that's that's so clever it's such a small but big thing it really is i have a scanner hello can you guess what i did with my scanner i scanned stuff i scanned some more stuff and scanned even more stuff then i just sat there looking outside into the waters as i waited daytime [Music] today i found some more things to scan by the way finding my way back into the arctic kelp forest there was a path that took me deeper than i planned to go oh hello replenish oxygen oh wait actually i will scan you though is this sea glide no way oh crap oh crap warning 30 seconds of oxygen remaining you just gonna blow up i heard one of those thingy oh wow you actually just got back inside i gotta risk it for this scan scan scan oh okay that hurts a lot but i had to do it oh my god 30 seconds of oxygen yeah i know see a monkey nest oh so sea monkeys do actually exist in this game they weren't just kidding all right we did manage to scan a sea monkey's nest that i would soon come to learn what those were now swimming up to the surface in hopes of catching my breath i found something odd just floating about wait a minute what hold on there's something out there oh there is a little like floaty guy okay what's up going in the water i need to scan you come here oh penguin oh penguin okay and then the babies where the babies at must steal all children don't tell them don't you dare uh oh a desk cool oh this is new mineral detector i know where the children go so weird right hi guys bye guys as i jumped back into the water would you look at that oh wait what the heck oh is that a secret that might be c glad last piece oh man this is insane what is that oh maybe this is the c ma no c truck see truck see truck whoa apparently instead of a sea moth we would soon find and befriend a new sea truck but that came later feeling like i did enough we started swimming back to our life pod and found a sea monkey i was about to scan him and this happened all right let's scan sea monkey some of the wildlife down here is very grabby dude no kidding come here give me my stuff back please did you just like turn back and wave at me you nerd at this point in the game i had a lot of stuff and too many baby penguins cooking up some fish and then building our new source of transportation took it for a little test ride getting to places faster and being able to scan a few more things back in the sea monkey's nest there's something right here perfect anything else this is a different one oh silver oh it goes deeper i gotta get out of here see monkey he's trying to steal one of these baby apparently this place housed a lot of stuff i would go on to needing we did make it back while under the night sky praying nothing would find and eat me alive i did also get a few new updates on the pda picked up what sounds like a distress call who or what is out here calling for help it didn't sound human maybe it's from a remnant of architect technology in her message sam's colleague did say there's something important here even if it's just a mimic from one of the more intelligent aquatic specimens that could be a major find or if it's from altera it could have bearing on what happened to sam i should definitely check it out by now the guilt was killing me and i did what any sane person would do so let's let's give back some other kids you know let's give them back because we're not we're not that you know crazy water and just release the kids there you go guys i'm sorry i know i know it also felt like time to find a new place to call home but more than that build a home i made quick work of staying afloat found a framed picture so someone i i can't really see it but we also found fred's a shaving kit that's that's really cool that's i like that and then we have a bunch of posters we could take here oh i was about to say no i'm not because i'm gonna die due to uh hypothermia but hey look at that it's actually turning the daytime i think or i'm gonna die because planet is coming to end inactive human life forms detected that's me in uh what's her face is her name margaret i don't know whoever tried to kill me or or scared or threaten me all of the above apparently he didn't get to finish what he was trying to repair and that is some like in communication relay device test override module oh so we do have to do something here okay i have no idea what but all right seeing that we would need a module to test the signal on this tower i walked over to the ledge for a nice little shortcut oh okay you know what uh shortcut yeah yep doing it i'm doing it ah it's not too bad actually i can jump on here oh god with the new location in hand we made our way back home with base building being priority number one now with our new habitat builder in hand that meant it was time leaving the lifeboat and searching for a spot to set up shop i found it just outside the island range but close enough to the majority of things i would need i made sure beforehand to have all the necessary materials to start off our base too try to build it as high as we can yeah oxygen i get it all right do that warning emergency power only bioreactor i will put it in the front yeah friend come on oh oh oh oh crap materials from titanium to quartz and copper so i could build myself a new fabricator i also started naming lockers to those in comments of my subnautica video to show my appreciation and of course more would come later while we're waiting just for the time being i'm going to name these lockers the first i have is on hold on what if i do this what if i do this the raggedy right raggedy man the no not the pokemon i also realized with the scanner room we didn't have the hud chip so i couldn't see anything on my screen only on the scanner room table itself this was unacceptable we did however go back searching and finding all sorts of things i'm gonna take you put you away what are you doing no i'm back here ow dude you dick go away guys just before planning to head home i happened upon a big find oh wait holy crap there's lit literally something here oh i found secret oh i found secret i found big secret i like this i just need some nice heat oh this is this is the base this is the bioreactors my sister and lillian were in these like quarters was this sam's space what was she doing all the way out here i don't think i have a choice i have to neutralize the bacteria myself i'm a little nervous okay terrified but this thing is a death sentence we shouldn't be messing around with it i'm no biologist i know so does everyone else here i haven't spoken to danny since we fought hand and ready to build the sea truck i'm literally going to release it just by home it's easier that way time to craft yes i can i jumped into the sea truck and drove it closer to my home calling it a night there soon after day 11 i was thinking of a better way to get water but seeing the water filtration system and the materials required that would have to wait 20 or so bladder fish later i started fabricating them down into filtered water i sources it don't worry my bad that was on me that was on me oops all right let's go back while storing the extras at home i felt the need to go explore for a few materials yeah i think it's time that we finally go and figure out this whole thing of where is magnetites i'm still not over it oxygen i'll make it i'll make it didn't make it there yeah actually it is so i didn't really lose much what fabricating a compass for better direction i then headed southwest in hopes for finding the magnetite that i needed for my scanner room what do we have here what is this some ribbon oh yeah ribbons cool exterior oh exterior growbed oh wicked i thought i already had it traveling through the arctic kelp forest i found a new area or rather new creatures hey actually this is it i think holy crap all right my depth is 150 i gotta keep it as such hold on i i'm i'm curious i gotta save this first warning boxing 100 meters oh they're just called eye jellies cool i don't think these things are bad like they don't go out of their way to try and kill me so i don't have to kill that anything that tries to kill me i i wanna you know i might try and kill them it's gonna go even faster warning if that wasn't going to work then i would need the next upgrade the mk1 c truck depth module an easy but also difficult thing to build seeing that i needed both lithium and diamonds and plus steel ingot that's not impossible mineral rich crevices detected below geothermal activity detected caution advised geothermal oh so hold on hold on i think we're going the right way we have to look for like those little crevices i think that's where diamond is yeah yeah we have you up yep down here down here down here this is good this is good this is couldn't believe what i found oh there is diamond here oh my god thank you there's one diamond oh no there's a oh there's a mother lode and we got a mineral distillery using our sea truck that got us home i then fabricated the last piece of the next upgrade we do this that's right okay ah starting this i'm not doing anything else until we do this hold on i gotta put it in the thing come on now all right upgrades boom 200 marco man and i think where i went was over here back at the same spot now from before i tried going just on my o2 tanks alone and realized how dumb that was and decided to go back to my z truck ah oh okay so if i go under them they actually do hurt a bit okay oh no wait oh magnetite yes magnetite resist i swear this is amazing all right where are we oh no way this is the other side holy crap okay you know what i probably shouldn't be here right now finally back at home the time came my obsession and new scanner all packed into one so scanner room upgrade done and done three to four hours in real time just farming away at the first thing i scanned for do that then do this there we go okay so it's gonna start scanning again but it goes even further this time because smokes oh my god look at all the dots here all right so let's stop scanning that with so much collected the next thing i started was placing speakers all around the base giving things a little more noise than a lot less silence some food and water to help tide me over the next scan i had going was quartz again spent more you know a couple more hours and the start of quartz begins oh man this is going to be good so we've got the copper wall we've got the titanium wall uh we'll do a that wall oh oh oh i broke something i broke something okay hold on hold on hold on uh uh uh where's that single fixed up i tried a new scan this time something called a galana outcrops as they gave me lead that i would need i think it's this okay let's search for this time to get some lead the good thing about this is that i can just straight up go back to the base when i'm like full inventory and just build away so we're gonna try to make what attached components must be to construct are you kidding me if you build it you can't unattach it well i mean i guess that makes sense but oh well that's my bad oh my god i'm not scared holy crap i am not scared who's scared not me okay oh she whizzed i already have that dang it i want to go for those pdas but i i really oh hello the biggest thing that would help me expand was the foundation two lead into titanium each with a new day here the biggest problem was not having much breathable oxygen and the deeper you went the faster depleted i'm gonna try to see if i can find that rebreather because the re-breather is really gonna help but we're gonna take this down here just to grab some of these rebreather come on oh high capacity whoa i mean that's just as good heck yeah holy crap dude builder fragment already have that i'll take the water water i feel like there was another something something ooh alien stuff i'll go oh damn there actually is alien stuff over there oh this might be something please be the rebreather please be the rebreather oh yeah oh my god that's like the perfect combination i actually need it too the o2 high capacity tank and the rebreather what could be better combination outside i started a few exterior grow beds looking to plant both creep vine and c clusters waking up to a new day felt great this time i had a plan and a way to stay underwater for longer rebreather the rebreather facilitates extensive free diving by recycling air more efficiently at significant depths breed the now equipped and using the rebreather it was time i went on the hunt for quartz the next piece of the puzzle for a better o2 tank oh i can do it now okay the reason why i made two is because i like having two it gives me extra chances just to survive with that extra bit of uh breathing you know so we can do one uh here we go and then we switch this one look at that so from what was it seven no was it 70 i think it was 70 to 135 with a rebreather making sure to add food in the bioreactor for more power as well i also went on to building a few more pieces to the place out and about collecting more quartz was all that mattered for the time being trying to get more for our ever-growing home by now i started extending out the upper level to my home some more added some glass to my little bedroom and then taking an inventory worth of titanium to build lockers inside the upper level the next day i did a little moving of stuff around moving the lantern tree from the window to the back moving my jukebox to the side so i could build myself a ladder and connecting the two rooms and finishing off the lockers i had going on inside the other level a few more days had gone by while i was out scanning collecting more limestone chunks waking up i spent some more time looking through my building pieces and noticed something called a control room i don't think i've ever built this before what if i could build that so let's see i'm going to replace this one here deconstruct one thing i did forget to do was build more hull strength so things didn't break down that meant i had to create some more foundations and hope it would give me space to finish the control room um what if i put this oh there we go beautiful aha there that works okay so it's still connected i like that jumped back inside to go see this new place i built and man was it cool whoa whoa look at this i could turn power off oh my god need to find those ribbons so i can make some batteries you know what i should do i should see if i can actually grow these like plant them so i can get some seeds again oh we're just gonna plant these okay i can definitely say the ribbons were so much easier to find so we're gonna need some exterior grow beds right here with the ribbons and seeds i had no better way than to plant them themselves waking up to them fully grown and using the ribbons plus copper to then fabricate some batteries i did take it a bit of an extreme building more grow beds outside and cutting down ribbons into seeds to be planted for the new plots i was also looking to learning something new and that was using the vertical connectors to connect more parts of my base but that didn't go so well with a total of 32 hull strength my base was ready for that extra beefiness and needing i did go back to using the vertical connectors for building okay let's say i put this here right let's say it's just a
