I Paid VFX 'Artists' to edit my green screen footage!

[Music] all right we had a dragon and a t-rex chasing me through forest [Music] [Applause] what's up everybody welcome back to another fibre video sponsored by Fiverr where we as a group as friends are gonna dive in to some VFX artists to see how good they can the effects things that I send them so this is gonna be a fun episode much like the last episode where we tried to see who could photoshop the mountain into the desert better than I could and Sammy Sammy came out strong this time we're gonna try and find the new Sammy to see who can make this clip right here look the best [Music] so that was the clip out of camera if you want to see the full behind-the-scenes version of that clip where I look even more ridiculous head over to my tick-tock account yes Peter McKinnon created a tick-tock account help me understand how this platform works we decided to set up a green-screen and just make a very generic kind of clip that VFX artists could have free rein with we're gonna go through and find a couple people that we can submit this clip to give them some directions so the clips we get back or as close to what the client wants as possible let's begin Kersh designer wonder what he does in his free time I will do high-quality film VFX visual effects professionally professionally that's what we want all right next up let's get Mohit to Han I will remove replace customize or edit green screen video let's go I will create VFX in your videos often limited revisions that could bite you in the ass there bud that could be video in and of itself how many revisions can we go through until this is entirely different I will visual effects rotoscope composing Add to Cart that's my favorite part of these videos I will remove green screen video backgrounds in HD with an hour okay one day delivery one revision this guy's got under control a little bit more I will remove green screen back from from video this guy's got 59 5 star reviews before I go on and spend more money on Fiverr I'm gonna actually make a public post because you can do that and people can submit their orders I will do all 3d animation and special effect requirements this will be for basic level work this guy has included expectations on his product page let's do this I will do VFX rotoscoping and keying please contact me before ordering so my guess is we're gonna do this and a lot of people gonna come back being like I want a thousand dollars don't worry we won't put that old title card in maybe just for a second I will do VFX compositing product animation let's go resides don't let me down but we got dream studio 2019 two seconds of footage provided that's expensive so let's go ahead and contact this guy Rosh Hashanah 2016 level 2 seller know what that means but I like it 13 years working experience as a VFX artist okay I'm counting on you BAM I'm gonna come back in a few days once we've gone through the paces with these VFX artists we'll come back and tell you the prices that we were charged based on the work or the requirements from us here at p.m. HQ and we will get to evaluating VFX artists turning me into a high speed Tom Cruise Hollywood action star in just a moment okay guys what's up how you doing since you've watched the intro of this video this 5or video that you're looking at right now a lot of the things have changed with regards to the work from home recommendations so under that pretense I have been implementing said recommendations so no one's here it's just me at the office I figured it's safe to be able to come from my house directly here and back and I'm gonna film the reactions to these VFX videos that we just got in I got all the men gonna set up the cameras right here and we are gonna film that you're gonna watch it right now but just want to give you a little bit of an update as to what is happening and encourage you also to stay safe wherever you're watching this all right let's check out these dope videos I mean I hope they're dope all right folks welcome back it has been 3 4 5 days now but needless to say I just received all of the files for this new VFX challenge I'm actually super psyched to get into this so I figure if you just open the laptop and see what these guys hit us with all right number one cush designer okay we have sound [Music] [Music] haha alright we had Birds a dragon and a t-rex chasing me through forest it didn't look very realistic but A for effort like you made me laugh and then is just over cush designer thanks man I love this this is so great alright moving on mr. Roenick so looks like we got some some sound design okay better get going we got a tornado happening that's pretty awesome if I started a vlog like that you guys would be psyched it didn't look super realistic but $50 moving on number three mohit this was $55 if I see if I pause right here the outline of myself here doesn't look super clean I can still see a lot of green screen fringe around myself the back Brown doesn't seem to be moving at all it's just rocks falling why wouldn't hang on hang on why wouldn't the background start moving now the rocks are gone [Music] I'm sorry I don't like that one Sam Rowe $70 looks like we got two files here unlimited revisions this was our boy with unlimited revisions just having a jog so far a normal day oh I hear something backgrounds moving faster as this was I think that might be my favorite so far the plane that's amazing we got dinosaur for number two you caught up real fast sport look like that the graphics of this dinosaur looked like it came from that game tribe that's way back in the day shout out to tribes who remembers that seventy five dollars from Nick Nitin Hsiao one so let's take a look at what this clip looks like ooh this is not looking good so far what's with all that like posterization on [Music] okay the dragon could use some work but what I'm liking is I'm liking the creativity I like that we've seen a thunderstorm boulders t-rex airplanes that's the second dragon that we've seen all right let's see us we got $80 we're in a forest we're back The Walking Dead hey Siri play my favorite playlist don't actually play it oh there's a cheetah behind me I like that you can just see it oh who doesn't get me I love that you could just see it poking out of my shoulder being chased by a cheetah in the woods Lance right $80 what do you got for me let's see velociraptor out of the woods out of nowhere then I a trend here seems to be low low graphical content oh he's back same t-rex it ends on his claw I think for $80 we definitely had Sam Rowe do a better job at 70 $100 this was canny to king dinosaurs seemed to be the favorite here I feel like the background should be moving faster with regards to how fast I'm apparently running oh there we go speeds up now so far this background looks the most realistic that background I thought looked the most realistic even though it looks like it was completely modelled and made the dinosaurs the Dragons the Raptors none of these things seemed to feel too realistic yet I'm still waiting for that one that feels like it could be real then again we paid a hundred bucks for it so it can only be so real but not bad I wouldn't even know how to do that here's another hundred dollar one the outline of my character looks a little weird right now don't think we have any audio on this plane seems to be getting closer and closer it's significantly sped up at the end there oh I could wash these all day long two hundred and fifty dollars let's go oh UFO that's new even seen a UFO yet it's coming that looked good as that UFO crossed over my head that looked cool that interacted with me ducking perfectly which makes it feel I mean obviously it's a UFO it could be real it makes it feel real when I duck and it goes right over my head I'm not so psyched on the beginning but as it soars over that's cool okay that was two hundred and fifty dollars that might be like my favorite one so far seven hundred dollars dreams studio 2019 was seven hundred bucks this looks a little more realistic looks a little more cinematic like I've been graded like my skin tones matching the background which I appreciate I don't feel like the backgrounds moving very fast yet what are the let's let's discuss this okay so there's ships in the background I missed those originally I feel like the explosions could have made me been a little more realistic but what this clip I think did the best so far is actually color matching me to the background where it looks the most like maybe I was actually on scene there maybe the little sound design might help it out it is time for the grand finale $1,250 $1,250 from Rosh Hashanah 2016 13 years working experience VFX artists I am looking forward to this one color matched to the background backgrounds shaking with me running I like it Birds collecting in the background I'll jet looked great alright that was dope that for sure I feel like the grade could use a little bit of like more contrast more shadow looks a little washed out but as far as like the smoke and the jet going by and that boulder rolling and the elements in front and behind I mean for 1,200 bucks that's pretty great that's the thing to keep in mind unlike the Photoshop version of this particular challenge this is a lot more work it's a lot harder to make this stuff look realistic it's going to cost more money than just putting a mountain in the background of a desert so Rosh Hashanah with your 13 year experience that is definitely the best here's a version that we did taking auro Shauna's maybe tweaking the grade just slightly and adding some sound design check out how much of a difference it makes [Music] so guys
