I Dont Like Ellen DeGeneres Awful Apology (Here's Why)

true you didn't even get close that's right you don't think i saw it but i saw it i saw it and i hated it i watched and i hated it i looked at the clips and i was like uh who is that in the clubs and it was me why is melon degeneres in my room never mind just smelling nod anyway they're saying i need to apologize oh damn apologizing to your fans that must be tough how are you gonna apologize to all these people what are you gonna do let me guess you're gonna like half accept blame and then write these thinly veil jokes to hide them no no and then what are you gonna do like stupid hand signals like the thumbs up sign to make sure everything's okay when it really isn't no no oh and let me guess you're gonna promote that dj to executive producers if you didn't fire three other people because he's chicky chicky the right person for the job no melon that guy is a trash does he serve any purpose on the show other than being comedic relief well leo i guess my time has come yes i have out that said that she's a lot meaner than she pretends to be however last night the 18th season of ellen premiered and she took a whole seven minutes to discuss everything seven minutes she couldn't spend more than seven minutes discussing this before i saw the new monologue addressing everything i genuinely in my head thought that she would prove me wrong and i would have to say sorry and i was okay with that i wanted that to happen when i opened the monologue to look at it it was the complete opposite i don't think it's good at all and i will tell you why before we start though that's for whole show talking about months of allegations would you not think to address it just seriously would you not think to just be a serious person is this not a weird time to be making jokes i had a never should have happened i take that very seriously and i want to say i am so sorry to the people who are affected i know that i'm in a position of privilege and power and i realize that with that things that i read one was uh racial prejudice and the other was uh sexual misconduct but hey ellen's sorry and her name is on underwear can i tell you why i'm being such a meanie bobini and why i'm being so harsh it's because i really do like her so much she still holds a special place in my heart it's sort of the equivalent of like seeing tom hanks do some reckless and instead of taking responsibility for it he just pulls a forest gum he's like mama always said run away from your problems i'm disappointed as all you can't just say sorry to someone who's been harassed or someone who's been racially profiled that deserves way more that's not good enough this is the ellen degeneres show i am ellen degeneres my name is there my name is there my name is on underwear my name is ellen the show our workplace and what we want for the future we have made the necessary changes and today we are starting a new chapter she's just saying the right things we've changed i've taken responsibility how what new chapter this book is empty ellen tell me what will change and i will drop all of this just say it we are starting a new chapter there he is again he's just clapping his ass off bro oh she's coming good job the truth is i am that person that you see on tv i am also a lot of other things i sometimes i get sad i get mad i i get anxious i get frustrated i get impatient and i'm especially working on the impatience thing because and it's not going well because it's not happening fast enough i will tell you that i'm sorry what is this why are you trying to pawn off half truths as jokes yeah people do hold you to a high standard because it's what you base your show off of people aren't laughing loud enough to drown the truth it's actually really telling that ellen didn't address specific issues maybe saying that people need to chew bubble gum because she doesn't like certain smells if it was something so ridiculous you'd think ellen would come out and be like listen to address some of the rumors this stuff is just stupid but her not addressing it probably means that it is true in saying that there is one thing that she brought up that i think is very important she's a celebrity and people see her as the be kind lady it's the same thing like if you saw david blaine you just expect him to do a trick you expect celebrities that you see to perform their roles as you see fit she goes to emotions that differ from the ones that are on tv she's a human first a celebrity second and you have to understand that that people do get mad or angry or sad and sometimes it can be conceived as something else especially when you're a celebrity because the microscope's under you so everything you do gets amplified if you so much as speak out of ton people can get outraged because there are probably times when the words ellen said got taken out of context but if this many people are saying it and you're not denying it i'm just saying there was a guy called oj and he was today i'm just saying also ellen not that you're watching this but when it comes to being impatient what about that video about you and the translator what else do you want to learn just one question just what else does he want i don't know what you're telling him but just ask him what i'm saying a finger style what's a finger style oh a acoustic yes well don't just ask him don't look at me and go i don't know ask him never mind okay maybe some of you know that you know i was an actress i've played a straight woman in movies so i'm a pretty good actress i don't get it but i don't think that i'm that good that i could come out here every day for 17 years and fool you girl take that back i know you didn't just say that you all know what goes on talk show you've been on it for 17 years the guest comes down and acts like they spontaneously have what to say but before the show you have everything screened it's called screening process someone tells you what you can't say what you can't say so that nothing goes wrong mid-show and you act like it's spontaneous yeah yes you can act like that for 17 years and my intention is to always be the best person i can be and if i've ever let someone down if i've ever hurt their feelings i am so sorry for that that is how you remove yourself from a situation if you feel like you've been hot i am so sorry it's again what youtubers do to make yourself feel slightly better it's very manipulative in a very small way i got into this business to make people laugh and feel good that's that's my favorite thing to do that and jenga all i've ever wanted to do is make people laugh and play django jenga this is the first time i've ever seen jokes that came off as needy i'm sure a heartfelt conversation would work way better bro your monologue is much like your jenga it's crumbling as we speak and now i am a boss of 270 people 270 people who hey yo yeah yeah i still work on the ellen show oh she's clapping and i'm committed to making this the best season that we have ever had oh you want to laugh clapping and that is the monologue but she's still going on to talk to twitch and i want to show you this because it is amazing how dry the show is without music when this guy doesn't have his fake dj equipment what are they doing if people cannot dance this show is so so quiet you could hear your thoughts on the goddamn show twitch how are you i've never heard twitch talk before and it was just i mean yeah and you kind of mentioned that the summer is you know it's uh i i there's been a lot of learning this is why i never heard him talk before what the hell is this hey twitch there has been a lot going on in the world right can you not get this man to sit on the couch with you um you and i have had numerous discussions in right so it's all love i'm so excited for this season it's all love that's that's all that's real is love that's the truth it is all love g thang homie dog it is all love g west side g side you're not my dj anymore right you are now can we get a drum roll is that possible no my co-executive producer because you're such an important part of this show and unfortunately i had to take the fake dj equipment away that's okay this moment basically sums up everything about this monologue instead of talking about the people who got fired and why they got fired ellen just sweeps it under the rug and she's like look at twitch look at him look at him he doesn't have any dj equipment there's a reason it's because he's now producing the show yes i got a guy from america's talent who won as a dj to now produce my show that should definitely yield great results yes i found the only black man with the fedora other than neo in the 2000s and i made him the co-producer of my show he used to spin the [ __ ] now he runs the [ __ ] he's like a jay-z i can't say that alright he's like anybody ever from any color it's honestly such a lame move to see someone sweep everything under the rug as if it didn't happen this whole apology it seemed forced it seemed like the only reason she even addressed it was because of the ultimate backlash she got from the people all of the accusations about the toxicity in the workplace we just swept under the rug she said she'd take responsibility but didn't say how it was a monologue filled with jokes that were not funny and when i look at the comments there are a lot of people who not only believe her but support her too it's just sad that she got away with it but in saying that there are worst things in the world if she's gonna have a 18 season i hope it goes well hopefully this won't happen again hopefully the workplace will get better let's hope for the best and wish her well wow what an uplifting resolution that was nothing is learnt and everybody just moves on great so there's no justice in the world oh that is fantastic you know what with the way 2020 is going that about sums it up yeah this is how this video is ending
