I could not keep these fish off my jig! Wasn't expecting this while dock shooting for crappie!

[Music] oh yeah pretty cool little patch of fog just randomly i don't know how good it shows up on the gopro but it's pretty cool about to go into it um so we're headed down to cedar creek again today uh there is the fog you can see it's not as bad as i thought it was but we are headed down to see the creek again mike was so good this last time i had to go down here and try again because again i don't know how long this fight's gonna last but we got some adverse conditions today we've got uh i'm not too worried about that blue bird sky which i like for shooting dogs i want that sun up i want it pushing them fishing we got light winds the biggest issue i think is gonna be that the lake is up the lake is a little high so it's gonna be real tough to shoot some of these dogs so we're gonna call today um extreme that's what we're gonna call it so we're gonna get down here see if i can get on some of these docks that i can shoot i might have to go around a little bit and look around i'm also on five hours of sleep so i apologize if i'm not you know real chipper or anything today um i'm real tired so but we're gonna go out here and try so let's get down to the water all right y'all so here's here's the setup for doc shooting i didn't show that last video so sam heaton super sensitive b m love this rod i got a pc fun i'm not even sure what kind of reel this is flame 2000 i got six pound suffix high viz green line um this rod is seven foot long super light action so you can bend it over and shoot it in there um this is my setup i got a 16th ounce jig head tied with a loop knot and this chartreuse um jig body and you just bow this rod over just grab the jig like this don't grab the hook because you will get hooked bend it over shoot it just like that under the dock and when you're shooting it you got to watch that line because a lot of times that a lot of times those fish will hit when that jig's falling so all right we're at a dock getting blown all over the place wasn't supposed to be blowing today but it's blowing a little more than they said but let's see i'll anchor up on this if i catch some fish if i can shoot under there that'd be good too just like to know if there's fish here before i do anchor up get a decent shot and sit here maybe i can catch one there's one little one bigger than i thought he was he's too close i'll let him go just don't want to measure and blow off this spot real quick especially if i can get another shot in there there's another one that's a better one there oh yeah not a bad one going to drift off the spot but at least we got a keeper it's funny all white crop eat it mostly white crappie about that size today so strange see maybe a little better short but not really really short see if i can get a shot in there one more time before i drift oh you see that line stopped falling there was a fish on there this one's usually pretty good dock but whatever reason so far this year just we're not really producing that much and i'm catching some fish off it but not like usual mostly white crappie which is just so strange in this lake yep man that fish is acting crazy oh it's catfish there's the the catfish you catch shooting dogs every single time it's funny they just live in the same places string him up there's a fish look at it's a good fish too sweet there we go it's another big white crappie it's a good dog fish there we go ah they are making me work for him today i don't get bit on that one then i'm going not to say good one nice one well not a nice one but keeper keeper fish they are making me work for i don't know if y'all can see him but some birds over here diving down for bait so that's a good sign all right this dock right here has got some of the darkest water around and that water is so dark in there i've caught more off of this one than i've caught on that other one so let's see it's gonna be tough staying on it from this way though but i will if i catch fish i'll just anchor up here let's see about seven foot like i said you don't need a whole bunch of depths right now to hold fish that's the best shot but there's a fish sweet what is it is it crappie oh yeah big dark male look at that one sweet yes [Music] hello sir beautiful fish all right maybe we're on to something on this one another one not a bad one not a bad fish at all fish might keep i really don't want to measure him we'll let him go pretty sure he's a keeper though [Music] [Music] there's some fish under there if i can hang here good fish i might have to try and anchor up there's some fish here i can catch them but i'm just drifting around too much there's a fish a little shorty pretty black crappie [Music] though [Music] that's a good fish really good fish [Music] oh yeah nice fish [Music] big old post bond female well she might have a little eggs left [Music] minecrafty apparently have taken off in here because dude that's really what i come here for i catch white crappie all the time back home but i want to catch those black crappie [Music] that's another good one oh yeah another nice white crappie they're good white crappie that one's definitely post spawn [Music] [Music] was on there wasn't the best shot but [Music] the line got taken off that's mean look at that one little male that's why little male all right y'all that's it i hope you all enjoyed i think we got like 12 or 13 i threw a couple backlogs a couple a bunch of dinks but had a good time stocks weren't too bad after all as far as being able to shoot him it wasn't too bad i thought it was going to be less clearance but it wasn't bad so there's something on the docks don't know how long they're going to hang out females with eggs today so i think they're just wrapping things up should still be good for a couple weeks i
