I Busted POPULAR Minecraft Myths..

today i will be busting popular minecraft myths from foxes being able to use a totem van dying all the way to being able to turn diamond blocks into netherright ones also please consider subscribing with notifications on to see when i post more awesome minecraft videos just like this one alright let's get into busting myths myth number one you can put two different bits of armor together in an anvil now i've been playing minecraft for a very very long time but there's been a rumor going around that you can put two bits of armor together so let's grab ourselves some diamond boots and some iron boots now i am a hundred and fifty percent sure that this is a lie but i'm here to bust myth so that's what we're going to do let's check our anvil down uh and obviously you know we've got some diamond boots and let's check iron ones in and i can i am more than certain that this is a lie because i've never seen someone walking around with one blue shoe and one white shoe all right let's give it a go three two one bang just like i thought that is indeed a myth busted that does not work who's out here telling you can put shoes together all right i don't know what kind of madman is doing this myth number two white tulips don't actually give white dye so as you guys know if you put any sort of flower into your crafting table you actually get the color of that orange julep fringe dye red tulip red dye apparently if i put this white one in it doesn't give me white thought if this is true minecraft you need to fix this all right light gray dye what is this minecraft fix your game this is unacceptable so that is myth confirmed you don't get white thigh from white tulips i don't know who decided that was a good idea myth number three you can remove curses from items using a grindstone all right so as you guys know a grindstone you can unenchant stuff so if we were to put this normal you know enchanted wooden sword the sharpest five and i'm breaking in we can get back our wooden sword and get a little bit of xp which is just thrown off the side of the tree lovely so apparently you can remove curses using this grindstone and i don't know if this is possible but if that is that's very very cool because you can find a diamond sword and then just remove the cursor just have a look oh it's enchanted okay i was about to say will it remove it i think that's gonna be a no myth busted you cannot remove curses from items using a grindstone myth number four foxes can actually use totems on dying so if you didn't know foxes can actually pick up weapons if you chuck him a sword he'll pick it up just like that and he has it in his mouth he does more damage with it so he can actually use it but supposedly he can use a totem undying so we're unfortunately gonna have to kill this one i'm sorry buddy okay i didn't want to do it either oh okay never mind he's out of here see you later if we put this box down give him a tote of undying supposedly if i kill him he won't actually die alright i'm sorry buddy this is for science okay let's see is he gonna die three two one oh my god the toad of undying actually went off that's misconfirmed i mean i didn't know that myth number five lava stops you from taking full damage so we all know about mlg water buckets if you hit it you don't die pretty simple right but apparently you can do this with a lava bucket which could be useful for the nether all right let's see if i land this lava bucket will it stop me from taking four damage three two one go come on choice sure sure sure it didn't even place all right let's see if it'll work this time please work come on come on come on i don't think that worked i think that okay i'm saying myth busted that does not work i've never once seen dream hit mlg lava bucket okay myth busted it does not work myth number seven you can push two slabs together against a barrier we'll get a blue and a purple one make it look kind of cool okay apparently if i play c's two like this and push it against the varia it'll actually work it didn't work in the last video and i'm almost certain it's not gonna work but prove me wrong all the people in the comments said this would work so let's give it a go three two one go what my mind is blowing that is misconfirmed you can actually push two slabs together all right well let's get straight on the myth 7.5 you can push two stairs together now i'm almost certain if that one works this one's gonna work too all right let's give it a go three two one bang oh god that is very glitchy those are both confirmed i'm very very sorry i got them wrong in the last video thank you guys for correcting me myth number eight you can actually transport villagers just by training with them do we all know the normal boring way of getting them you get them in a boat and then you have to drag them all the way to your home or you have to use all of your iron to make a bunch of rails now supposedly according to this myth if i go and trade with a villager they will actually follow you just a few blocks now if they have a job that is enough that you can drag them across the entire world if you need to so let's get this phone out of a boat and apparently if i trade with him and then run away he should follow me i mean he does technically follow me but it's not for very long technically speaking if you wanted to you could bring him with you oh i mean it kind of works and it kind of doesn't i don't know i don't think this is true maybe maybe if you've got emerald's inventory maybe if you have what he wants if you did it bit by bit oh you know what oh that's good enough to give it a myth proven if you really wanted to save your iron that badly you could drag a villager by constantly training with it myth number nine wearing a helmet protects you from anvils foley alright so i currently have no helmet on let's see how many hearts of damage i'll take without a helmet three two one go two hearts of damage okay now supposedly if i have a helmet on it'll protect me from damage all right let's see will this helmet protect me three two one go oh i only took one damage of hell now technically it did protect me but let's be real armor's meant to do that it's meant to protect you so i don't think the helmet had any effect with the anvil so i'm gonna say i still took damage so no it did not stop the anvil from doing damage to me this is myth myth number 10 shields block every single bit of creeper damage now someone that dies to creepers a lot i would like to know this let's get ourselves a free break and a shield let's go into survival and give this a go so i've got nothing but this shield let's put the creeper down i know him a little bit come on oh my god it did zero damage i was a little bit far away i'm gonna get myself another creep right all right i wasn't close enough for my liking i want to give this another go surely sure you still take damage oh my god myth grooving this is busted so shields just completely stopped the damage of creepers fair enough i guess i didn't know that myth number 11 a full beacon sits perfectly at the top of a temple so everyone knows what a desert temple is okay it's this it's beautiful you love it but supposedly in the top of this a full beacon is meant to fit now it does actually look like it's going to fit so let's give it a go and let me get placed on these blocks all right and that is row number one done into row two okay road number two complete it's a few more layers okay and the final row the final three all right let's put the beacon down let's see if we're gonna get the achievement or not b canada there we go that's a full beacon and it fits perfectly into a desert temple so i mean if you want to deliver with a beacon you can myth proven myth number 13 you can still craft enchanted golden apples so if you guys didn't know you used to be able to craft enchanted golden apples now you can only find them in rare temples and stuff like that but supposedly you can craft them again now i don't think this is true but i'm gonna give it a go because i'm here to do one thing and that is bust myths so let's see now i want to see can i actually craft an enchanted golden apple or not all right three two one go and as i thought no you cannot craft in china golden apples anymore which is unfortunate because they would make gold farms a hell of a lot more useful myth number 14 if you one shot a piglet it doesn't annoy any other piglets around everyone knows what piglets are if you hit them you annoy the whole family so supposedly if you can one shot a piglet it will not annoy the rest of the penguins around so i want to give this a go so i've got a sharpness 1000 wooden sword i think that's more than enough to one hit a piglet let's see if the rest of them care three two one go oh my god and as you can see they just literally could not care less but if i punch this one they ain't having any of it i guess i smith confirmed that myth number 15 using an invisibility potion on a shulker will show only their face so as you all know if a shulker gets annoyed it opens up and shows his little face inside so apparently if you throw a potion of invisibility on it it will show only the face i'm actually very interested in this because i mean it's sort of useless but it's kind of cool three two one go oh i've opened it we need a live shulker i've just placed a shulker block down oh three two one go oh look at him he's just a little floating head i can't believe how much of an idiot i am though but that is misconfirmed you can have a little body that's floating around for eight minutes if you want myth number 16 you can mine a beacon using only your fists so as we all know it is actually extremely hard to obtain a beacon you need a lot of good materials you need a diamond pickaxe to get obsidian but supposedly you can mine up using just your hand all right let's see if this works or not will the beacon drop please please please come on come on come on come on nice i mean that's pretty cool misconfirmed you can break it i'm not sure if this is very useful but i mean i guess if your pickaxe breaks you can at least take your beacon with you the final myth of this video and the one that you guys have been waiting for myth number 17. you can turn a diamond block into another right one in a smithing table everyone knows how smooth and cable works you put a diamond weapon in and bang it down into another right sword but if i put a diamond block in can i get another eye block because if so that is infinite near the right ingots now i'm almost certain this doesn't work but let's give it a go anyway because we are here to bust miss three two one go well it doesn't work i mean to be honest is probably a good thing that it doesn't work because if it did that would mean infinite near the right and we don't want that all right well if you guys enjoyed this video make sure you click one of the other ones on screen
