It's that time once again, I've asked you to send me your silliest, stupidest, daftest redstone ideas on Twitter, And you have responded in your thousands! So I've tried my best to search through, looking for all of the best ones And I think I found 10 that seem really quite interesting. So the first suggestion comes from MrYurihi Redstone, who's asked me to build a useless machine that actually does something, which I personally think, that's a hilarious request and this is what I've come up with, this is a useless machine that is specifically designed to power another useless machine! *laugh* I mean what's better then one useless machine?! Useless machines are already some of my favorite redstone contraptions, but having two of them, that are interconnected.... Ah.. I mean it doesn't get much better than that, does it? Doesn't get much better than that.... Otto has asked me to build something that will help me pass the social studies test I have tomorrow... Now I have to say, we don't have social studies tests in England, So I had no clue what that subject is, so I looked into it, and apparently, it involves geography among other various things, so I thought I'd help you out by building a world map, Now this, this is where I live so obviously that makes it the most important part of the map But one thing that I found interesting about this Minecraft version of the world map is this area here! Now I don't know what's happened to the color of this area, I'm fairly certain I wouldn't recognize this on an actual world map..... There's certainly not a purple part of the world but for me personally, This looks like the area that the upside down is coming through if you've watched stranger things, Then we need to be staying on top of this, because there's gonna be demagogue goons all over the place! Ily Kushnir has asked me to build Iskall eating diorite, Now I am gonna get some serious hate messages from Iskall after producing this thing, But it does actually function, so if we play some diorite on the inside of Iskall's mouth right here And then hit the button, you can see that his mouth opens up, it moves at the diorite inside, And then he eats it and his teeth close up behind it, look we can do it We can do it again it all gets stored away So you place in the diorite, and there we go he's now eaten four bits of diorite. Ah... I mean that can't tak- it doesn't look like a nice tasting block, Like what would look like a nice tasting block? That looks nice! That looks like a block of butter I would happily eat that, whereas diorite.... Oh you look at the that! Uhh... It looks like moldy porridge. Duderocks1233 has asked me to make a person licking an ice cream cone, Now, Look before I look up okay... I'm just gonna say, that I feel like this one needs to come with a bit of a pre-warning because, I didn't mean to make it look as disturbing as it does, but it does look very disturbing! *laugh* I don't know what it is about it, but it's freaky to look at! His tongue is moving in a very unnatural way, That's extremely strange, and he's vigorously licking that ice cream cone...... I don't know what it is, Maybe the eyes the crazy hair doesn't help.... No.... I mean the wacky t-shirt with the straight-out arms, yeah I don't know what it is about this But it's definitely going to be in my nightmares for the next couple weeks. Vatoman has asked me to make a contraption that can make a crabby patty, Now, I'm gonna be totally honest I haven't actually experimented with this thing just yet... But this is the build that I've created as you can see, we've got some Pistons that push in the various elements of a Crabby Patty, I didn't actually know what the ingredients are, because of course we're not allowed to know it's a secret recipe... But I've tried my best, so we have we have the buns and then we've got some greenery, And then we have the burger, and if we hit this button We should see.... That all of those.... Will be assembled, Into, what kind of looks ish like a burger...... I think it's a very Minecrafty burger, It is it is very Minecrafty It is very very cubic, but you know we've got the burger. We've got, We've got the the lettuce and we even have some cheese dripping down, I'd say have I've done a good job. awesomeguy66 has asked me to make a Mumbo exploding fidgets spinner so satisfying, I would agree, And finally someone has actually asked me to blow one of these things up, every single time I do one of these videos somebody asked me to build a fidget spinner and every single time I explode it, but finally finally we can do this *FAIL*, it went wrong Now this is embarrassing, isn't it? I mean the one time I've been asked to blow it up. I've messed it up Well you know what this Fidget spinner is actually quite cool to watch. Anyway moving swiftly on from that one, NoobSniper has asked me to build a hot potato machine, where two redstone devices propel an object back and forth between them at a considerable distance, I like to think I've done exactly that! I mean I have totally satisfied what he's requested, We've got two redstone devices, that are propelling an item back and forth out what I would describe as being a Fairly considerable distance, I had not realized quite how far slime blocks actually propel things like gravity blocks like sand and concrete... This is awesome to watch! And the best news is, is that I've even used red sand because it kind of looks like a slightly burnt potato That was my thought process there... this is another thing that I could watch all day long I feel like one of those cats watching tennis on the telli just going back and forth... xDawam has asked me to build a camera lens that can do optical zoom, Now I'm going to go one step further, because I've actually built a full camera and we've got two different settings for optical zoom We have got regular zoom... There we go! And we also have suuuuuper zoom Which it does that, so there we go, That is our lens fully extended. We can retract that back way and then yeah, if it's not too far away, then we can do that but super zoom I mean we can see two miles with this thing. It really is very impressive, and if you want to see the Redstone It's actually pretty simple, just a handful of slime blocks, double piston extenders, all that good stuff. Now let's face the fact here This wouldn't be a Mumbo Jumbo video without some form of piston and feed tape and I was getting a little bit worried with this episode that we weren't actually going to fulfill that criteria, and I wasn't going to be able to upload it, But thankfully ThinkFractal has come to the rescue, And they have suggested a piston feed tape that contains a program for dispensing items in a specific order So, that is what I've built, this piston feed tape right here cycles around We've got some redstone blocks from the centre that are powering Solid blocks inside the piston feed tape and when the solid block goes in front of the repeater It then powers a dropper sending out items, and it's another thing that's actually, relatively satisfying to watch, I mean this entire episode has been extremely satisfying to watch, I might change this series to me building your satisfying to watch ideas.... It doesn't, it doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it? Another thing that couldn't be missing from one of these 'I build your silly redstone ideas' videos is a name that I can't pronounce.... Vetle Stenvard Weme, I'm assuming veem maybe we weem not 100% certain, has asked me to build a seed growing into wheat, well, that is what I think I might have done, if we hit this button right here, We should begin to see the growth process, so it's gone from being seeds into the first growth stage of wheat and oh... It's it's getting taller... And it's getting taller again! And then it gets even taller and I think we have one more, maybe I should have maybe done slightly different timings, But for the most part, that's worked out quite nicely.... Except this area hasn't grown so well...Hmm... Anyway that just about wraps everything up for today's 'I build your silly redstone ideas' video, I really do hope that you enjoyed it. I've had a blast making it. I always loved creating these videos and your suggestions this time have been fantastic, absolutely fantastic.
