I Got SCAMMED Buying the Cheapest Rock Bouncer Ever ($4,500)

all right so a couple weeks at the auction we saw the most ridiculous stupid crazy looking fully custom side-by-side we've ever seen and we bought it let me clarify for a moment when i said auction i meant online auction so we never actually saw the vehicle in person the seller told us that it worked the people who were selling it said it didn't work we have no idea whether it works or not it's supposed to be amazing oh it doesn't no okay let's try dinosaurs [Applause] click reveal dude this thing is wild looking yeah it's got like the v vendetta logo going on okay wow dude of course it has the kiryakan speakers there's no doors you jump in this thing duke's a hazard style all the way up what does this guy do to this thing it's a rock crawler this is a rock crawler and this is like first time you rolled the second life this dude rolled this look is that a little one for like a kid a little yeah a little better jumpsy because you want your three-year-old to do while you're rock crawling he said it but he can't get it running so um i got an idea [Music] hey wait does this mean that we're doing [Laughter] i it think i'm gonna be able to fit in there they always have to come to the top all right so we just got this thing in uh we got to see if it runs but i kind of want to check it out caleb made a good observation the guy the guy told us on the phone they said this was like a nine thousand dollar frame we didn't know that it had twenty thousand dollars worth of damage to it look at it look look at this they welded that back together oh my gosh like what horrible horrible what horrible thing happened to this thing that this thing just got totally cut right up right right there i mean the frame has clearly been painted a million times look look look deep in there they paint a bunch of times look at that dent and that that's not hard that's hard to do that's crazy so if you're if you're wondering like can the frame take a roll it's already taken a roll by a dinosaur the question is the question is can it take another one is a pvc pipe fitting and apparently craig says that's the gas how would you know that oh it is time what's the smell like this was horrible why does every starbucks that we buy have bad gas i don't know it's probably sitting for a while uh this is always a good sign brake fluid i mean how much brake fluid does it actually take you have to have a this big of a bottle this is enough to like bleed the system in like a very large vehicle uh tires look pretty good yeah i do feel like we could almost take all those rings off and sell those like 2k like that's like those tires in rim combo that's an expensive combo yeah these are apparently these these are actual bead locks uh warrior tires all right what's going on with this this hose is going to nothing it's a differential breather look at this and that's just what a zip tie mount maybe oh it's like it's like those bells that hang off the bottom of motorcycles yeah right but for a side by side okay so so look over here this is like a custom built job right here that says park reverse you can go reverse to low like without moving anything and then you got high but there's no neutral unless is neutral in the middle of this do you think well why would there's no n that's true and i wonder if they have it set up that way so you there's no lock in between so that when you're uh like rock crawling you got to like rock it or do i don't know what rock crawlers do actually look at this these are loose what the bottom universe is this one why the jam nut here is loose so this is hand this is hand like loose they have a nickname for these things it's called death trap you see that why is that so loose i would have driven this thing if this thing fired up and that one's loose is there like this whole rock climbing subculture we're gonna find out and it's all gonna make sense after that maybe oh yeah this thing those things on there where loose are supposed to be loose so the the auction selling it never was able to get it started so they sold it as a this vehicle does not run the guy we who was the owner i guess it would make sense that he would lie to us because there was no because there was nothing he could you know what i mean it makes sense that he would lie to him no it does work so so we just took another car salesman at his word yeah i'm gonna tighten these bolts up because i will if we get this thing fired up i'm gonna rip it oh something just clicked on yeah really right now tv speakers yeah hold up you say that you didn't tighten the bolts that's how you get it if you knew we were taking this out tomorrow would you just sleep in there so you have to get back out yeah oh you spun this over i did whoa hey stuff's going stuff's happening should i fire it up try it all right it's got first of all it's got 1300 miles that's 13 of the hardest hundred miles but they were all like flipping over this doesn't work that way it rolled 1300 times in moab [Music] oh crank that let's see what that does yeah we may not have enough folds to fire it's cranking fairly slow i'm gonna grab this secondary jump box when something looks cool we get wrangled into buying the dumbest stuff yeah we do suck at that don't worry so i just bought the stupidest thing i've ever bought ever the ugliest motorcycle i have ever seen ever like the geometry is different wow that was the first time i cracked over really good there's some guy that's just running stuff in npa that just looks cool and he's like i know srk is gonna buy it because one out of ten times uh we get it running very easily yeah and we've been chasing for that for the past 30 times never happened since i i don't know i mean this is a clip on steering wheel but i don't know why it's so sloppy right now is your hands in there uh we have nothing nothing now you made it worse [Music] we're cranking yeah um nine oh yeah right it was like nobody was bidding on it like three grand we jumped up to like 4500 we're the idiots that did it he's like dude it ran great where i loaded it on the trailer it ran great before i rolled it down a mountain it really when i drove home from the dealership when it was bone stacked it ran great before i blew the engine up it's like oh here it is how i build a custom rzr for 17 dollars it's all uh it's like plastic it's got like a plastic like underbody that's probably pretty good for rock crawling instead of metal it just slides over it i'll pull some of this fuel out and try to let it on the ground all right so just to try to confirm it's whether it's just to try to confirm whether it's bad gas or not well it's not that bad not that bad oh hello yes is this alex hey this is sean are you the guy who owned the um that uh rzr 900 with a custom frame yeah you know you don't sound very excited about it uh we were told it runs we can't get it to run could you could you tell us a little bit about it i took it out and i took it bunch of smoke out of the the blow-by getting a lot of blow-by oh oh that makes sense i feel like electric power steering would be really handy in a vehicle like this well here's what 4 500 worth of learned a lesson um apparently when they tell you that it runs and er okay i drove it on the trailer that's code for the engine is bad and you're gonna need a new engine i'm gonna stuff you with this
