I BOUGHT 20 MYSTERY BOXES AT AUCTION | WHAT DID I FIND?

you won the mystery boxes i'm really excited to dig through those thrifting ain't easy i'm feeling creepy comp and diapers on my ebay app what's up everybody welcome back my name is anthony so a couple weeks ago i bought some stuff from a uh estate sale auction that was online ended up spinning around like 50 55 bucks and it turned out really well now they auctioned off the rest of the house or what i guess is the rest of the house looked like a lot of garage stuff and attic stuff and storage stuff and stuff like that but i threw some bids out there and i think i won about eight lots uh total were just under 100 bucks in now of those eight lots two are things that sarah wanted one is a gift she picked out for my mom one is a present for olive a couple things are like display things for the antique booth and two lots are things that i'm hoping are for resell one is pretty small but potentially pretty profitable and the last one that i'm really excited about contains about between 15 and 20 boxes from what i could tell it was just a picture of a shelf in a garage with about 15 to 20 boxes and totes some had some words written on them but i have no clue what is inside these boxes so i'm pretty excited about it i got that lot for 44 there was a bit of a bidding war but i came out on top i was willing to even spend more than that because i was intrigued by that point so my plan is to go pick up all this stuff right now bring it all back home and then together we're going to go through those boxes those those mystery boxes and see if we find anything good to resell so let's head on over and pick up our loot i did good it's nice and quiet now that's good right now yeah how you doing good how are you i'm not bad [Music] thank you the parade is this house all done after that uh yes this one will be done okay and then we're gonna do we have our warehouse is a new here oh okay and so we're gonna be doing auctions out of there for probably the month of january because it's jam-packed nice nice so it's like 3 300 square feet awesome so we'll have some out of there as well and it'll be like on the same website just yeah estatesales.net the same way we'll be there sweet thank you sure is it a-n-t-h o-n-e-y is it [Music] you were smart getting here early yeah i got here a little late last time it took a while [Music] really excited to dig through those this thing is a beast wow oh pipe just awesome thank you yes it's pretty heavy okay gotcha it's like a telephone pole jeez hey how's it going connie right where's elliot oh he was watching uh my little pony or something might have overdone it this time i hope so nice to see you again man feels like it everything looks a lot smaller in pictures yeah like a little plant holder or something [Music] and it had a ceramic bowl i could be wrong but you might look it up it could very well be if it is that's pretty interesting thank you all right a lot of stuff let's see if it all fits so the snowman is for sarah and it is bigger than what i think either was expected that we're probably close yeah all right cool plant stand for my mom possibly longer here's a tv for baby olive's bedroom sarah ordered her a fire stick last night so she can watch poppy in the trolls in her bedroom so she'll be excited picked up this magazine rack here for five dollars figured i could put like comics and books and stuff like that in the booth inside this this just thought it was too cold to pass up for three dollars no idea what it is but maybe i'll hang the booth or something we'll see sarah wanted this big lot of stuff because she thought she saw vinyl in it but she uses vinyl all the time for the crafts that she makes in the products she makes so i'm gonna picked this all this vinyl here and that stuff down there up for like three or four bucks inside this bag there's a lot of spray paint and stuff from the mystery boxes which i don't really care about you know maybe sarah can use it but i went ahead and threw this a lot in there too it's these uh vintage bottles but like even foil and playtex with the vintage nipples looks like they're all new old stock so there's quite a few in here i scored all this for five dollars and i'll have to look up exact comps but i think there's definitely money to be made might be surprised on something like that so hopefully i'll put some thumbs up and show you and the rest of this is the mystery boxes this is the stuff we're going to take home look through throw away the junk maybe put some stuff in a donut pile but hopefully find some good stuff this this was the 44 lot right here so let me load it up and then we'll go home and see what we got now we're stuffed to the brim stuff inside stuff in every seat so let's get it home get this stuff separated lay the boxes out and let's start going through it all right guys so we're back we've got everything loaded in here i think there's somewhere around 20 or 22 boxes total some of them are small i like this some of them are these little clear totes so most of this should go quickly as far as unboxing goes i have a discard box and a keep box right here so i can quickly throw some stuff away or put in a donate pile of the stuff that i know i'm not even gonna deal with used to be the kind of person that would pretty much keep everything if it had even a little bit of value like three dollars here three dollars there or if it was something i thought that you know maybe if i find 10 more of these i can lot them up and sell them for 10 bucks i don't like to do that anymore because i'm i'm over the clutter so the quicker i can get through a big mess of this the better and just hopefully find some gems before it's all said and done now when you think about it as far as the resale stuff goes it got right around like 49 in it so once we hit 49 of potential value the rest is profit and honestly if we look over here if you remember i said i paid five dollars for this lot here and i think the 50 is probably here judging by some of the comps i found it's not a ton of stuff but being new old stock with these and just like the few extras plus four bottles and caps i think there's probably at least 50 bucks right here so i feel like we're already in the profit and everything else is just going to be gravy but let's start checking some of this stuff out we have some models and some accessories by this friend here i think it's tamiya actually a pretty decent brand this is a mustang let's see looks like the pieces are still in the plastic so that's always a good sign that's the p51d mustang here's some accessories uh brick wall sandbag and barricade set more accessories it's the jerrycan set and then this one is the two and a half ton 6x6 cargo truck let's see if it looks like it's new and it does so score i'll have to look all these up but i'm guessing the fact that these are just new open box and being that brand right there i think that we're probably well into the profit at this point so i'm already pleased there is a router box older one i don't usually pick these up when i see them but it came with a lot so i got it looks like it's in good shape it's in there it's got the power cable so i mean something like that might be 10 or 15 okay some of these boxes have writing on them this one says model paint jars [Music] no idea what something like this is worth this doesn't look like they're the same brand that's for realistic water realistic water is the stuff in trend sets that you that kind of hardens in your scenes i think and it makes it look like roll water so that's what that jar is for i guess there's a little wilton jar but for the most part it's these and i don't know i'm sure that there's some value in a lot and something like that people have to pay something for their model paint jars right that's cool we'll keep that this box is marked phone wire and stuff that doesn't sound too exciting that's exactly what it looks like we got phone wire and stuff see if there's anything down the bottom outlet cover [Music] and these little uh z blocker dsl filter things wire wire wall plate blanks yeah so nothing too exciting sometimes these little things can be worth some probably not going to be enough for me to want to worry about so this will probably all go to a donate pile like these things that are new i'll scan them just in case but honestly i don't think we will have anything here yeah i'll scan the new stuff later and if it looks good i'll keep it if not it'll go straight into a pile over here this box looks intriguing it says old bubble lights i have bought and sold a lot of uh like noma bubble wipes in the past always do pretty well kind of missing the mark on christmas time but i mean you can really sell this stuff all year long so it's no big deal [Music] yeah there's a set of two new old stock bubble lights it looks like oh there's another set new old stock bubble lights so that's very cool those those will bring a little bit of money right there so that's definitely a cool find but we have some springs of them down here too [Music] oh no they're not strange so these are all just individual bubble lights that is very cool let's see these are beacon brand yeah there's a lot in here so pretty excited about this i think we'll definitely be able to make some money on this it might take a while since it's after christmas but they'll definitely sell and they're not going to get that much room so that is a pretty good find i always look after these little bubble lights they're they're very cool and they're pretty sought after let's get through some of these plastic tubs they don't look like they're much of anything drywall pasting brush yeah it looks like power supply i have no interest in doing any drywall the scissors pretty dirty so i'm just going to donate this it's going to train the donut pile not interested i don't think i want the tub there's another we got a couple staple guns there's a remington powder actuated tool these are these are usually okay i think these i think for one like this i can usually get about 10 or 15 bucks for it i might go ahead and keep that just a swing line swing line heavy duty attacker number 800 that might be that might be decent i'm going to keep that so i can look that up there's a craftsman staple gun those might actually work so we'll see about those there's just a bag by itself looks like a bunch of uh brushless fans i guess for like uh computers or something electronics and it looks like they're all in good shape looks like they're all pretty much new so i don't know those might be worth like five six seven bucks a piece and i could work a lot them up let's grab this one here huh that's breaking it's like some plumbing supplies oh i actually need one of these so this will this will this will stay here in the kitchen some more miscellaneous plumbing supplies looks like that's what all this is i won't pull all this out right now again i'll scan it looks all looks pretty old there's like some fittings and stuff in there there's a knob made in the usa who knows this one says cd dvd unit looks too small [Music] for a computer that's not too exciting dvd rw so it's a burner the sony dvdcd rewritable drive model number aw q170 a i will look it up but i'm not really holding my breath on that it just dividers this box is really open expand to fit possibly a whole set though uh maybe that's the company expansive fit look it up and see if it has any value looks like it just came in this box and was it was never used with all the mounting stuff and the instructions so maybe that's the 10 or 15 bucks cassette tape deck again [Music] i've never seen this it's a uh looks like a pc component for a cassette tape plus deck 2c pc cassette deck that's kind of awesome looks brand new too so the ribbon cable it's like the sound card or whatever the serial cables i bet this is for like uh ripping mp3s off except that's actually i bet you that's probably worth something plus deck 2c hopefully i'll put comps up next to it pretty excited about this one i have never seen that before that might be a winner another box that was not closed it says routers and dsl modem yeah it looks like an old route or some sort speed stream 5260 not holding my breakdown power cables in there construction manual looks like a pc hard drive that was put in this case to make an external drive model wd-200 i love you too storage boxes oh just a little plastic storage boxes people seem like hobbyists i saw like a lot of train stuff so i'm sure these are just for like components stuff like that i'm sure these will come in handy i doubt there's any resale value here but as far as this little container to hold stuff that's pretty cool i guess a little box of storage containers this one says wall mount for blade runner looks like it looks like it's brand new the brand is rockwell model is rw9263 i will look this up but whatever it is it'll be new open box so that's definitely a plus looks like it's just search protectors which i will keep these because i have a tendency to throw away use surge protectors and immediately need a search protector and then i have to go spend 10 or 15 bucks so in the long run this will save me 30 bucks or so so definitely keep those nice looking little tub too mom g old ornaments let's take a look tissue paper tissue paper tissue paper tissue paper you there that is old that it looks like mercury glass sarah recently taught me about mercury glass and i think that's what that is so that's actually pretty interesting some more way old look at those toppers on no maker's marks or anything it's like a little tea kettle a little drum got a cupcake a boot this one is broken it looks like looks like some sort of instrument what else we got another one a peacock i guess i think that's all of them though right there one two one two three four five six seven ornaments and then one broken ornament this is the broken one so yeah those those might be something we'll definitely hang on to those again miss the mark because christmas is in a few days but i'm sure there's a collector market out there for something like this writing on this one no writing [Music] clock it looks like in 2007 it was 59.99 it's a highlander weather stand it looks like it's some sort of blocking kit perhaps like a barometer face right there so i bet this is like a make your own weather stand that is pretty neat [Music] another there's the clock face right there so yeah hopefully it's all here it doesn't look like it was ever even attempted so that's actually a pretty neat little set there's not a lot of recent value maybe we'll uh have this be a little project or something that's pretty cool i'm pretty happy with that i guess clock it look that one up i guess spray bottle these look like little molds it says 1992 boulders c1247 shelf rock so these are molds of some sort [Music] so this is probably like train building stuff or or a train set hobby stuff because here's a bottle of realistic water this stuff actually is kind of expensive and this looks like a full bottle because there's a partial bottle in here too yeah this one looks gross i'm gonna throw this one away looks like it's leaked so then these must be molds to make stuff with for your for your train set there's some track cleaner these are open those are probably going to be trash yeah if nothing else out of this box a full bottle of realistic water so that's pretty cool but that's probably worth at least 20 bucks or so this looks like some light fixtures outside electric looks like a bunch of uh just components for wiring and stuff it looks brand new so we'll scan that [Music] some more new stuff in here yeah lots of new stuff it's anything too valuable but being sealed and wrapped up like this and doing multiples we'll definitely check it out looks like some outlet materials outlet cover bunch of stuff like that so yeah this all looks new so we'll definitely check this stuff out and if it's worth it we'll we'll sell it ouch sorry some more of that type of stuff outlet covers some old switches i don't know my brother's an electrician you gotta let him look through this see if he wants anything or see if he can tell me if anything is expensive we'll go from there yeah i have no idea what's to keep and what's to throw i'll away take a look at it [Music] down to like i think two boxes left flowers of the hour clock the dreaded packing peanuts just let me dump some of these and i'll come back to it yeah okay so there's a clock there's a key for it that's nice to have the key that's interesting looks like a mantle clock of some sort made in germany it does have the key that looks like french from 1982 looks brand new except for where the uh little feet things a little i guess they're uh those little fabric feet things yeah try to figure out what this clock is hopefully show you some comps that's actually it's actually really pretty probably something that would catch my eye even at a yard sale or something see that's pretty cool it does have the key so that is good flowers of the hour clock let's see what that does this one says train on it i see wire and everything so it looks like it's probably components or something i've got some cases this one those like little fuses or something 12 12 or 15 little fuses these little terminals there's a lot of these i've actually sold these before um i actually sell these in lots and get like it averages out to about five bucks a piece maybe there's quite a few in there let's see one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15. looks like we got 16 in there actually there's our money back right there once those all sell some various wire there's another one switches and screws definitely a train hobbyist there's some more there's like 20 something of them now let's add some uh solderable perf board three or four sheets of that five sheets of that something like that scale university o scale laser cut o'malley's bar that's pretty cool to train accessories from accessories bachmann plasticville usa [Applause] four five six two one it's the roadside stand some more wires or these lights and stuff wires wires so much more people little accessories now there's a coke vending machine pretty neat it's all new old stuff too it's alligator clips and some wires with some connectors oh there's some more wire all right some stuff thrown into some lots when i saw that stuff if nothing else power adapters usb to serial converter like some fuses and clips and stuff some more perf board with switches and wiring a few of those some push buttons [Music] interesting there is some proto smoke these feel new too that's i bet there's some value to this stuff right here proto smoke fluid and some sort of case for building something out of all this stuff was that everything oh there's some more perk board too very cool so i was hoping to be able to throw away some more stuff i'll go through this more i'll bring the trash can out and throw away some of that used gunky stuff in there so a lot of work ahead of me to go through this stuff but it's it's it's definitely profit how much no idea yet hopefully i'll throw some comps up for you so we can get kind of an idea of what it might be worth but like i said with the bottles on top of all this stuff there is definitely profit so that's what i got for you this time guys as
