yeah why did the garage sale i've never seen this before i've been doing this for a while i figure everyone's coming for those yeah who knows i know they're good i don't want to ship them but i don't it's down just on that comfort mount comfort road yeah just down this way about a mile from 40. yeah i didn't see any signs though there's there's one um on 500 yeah isn't one of the states here oh no that's a different driver everybody take care what you have on this little controller here no deal four boxes i'll put these over here and look through a little bit better oh cool look at this last bought it okay one fell swoop gotcha and i don't have a price on that photo album but that's uh 75 dollars and it's full of old and pictures of the people and i believe they built as a family and built a house oh cool careful look at it real quick yeah that's neat yeah i can't guarantee but i think that was here when mom and dad bought the place back in the 60s and from the era that the pictures are it would be turning this you know 20th century yeah there anything upstairs there's furniture upstairs she's just excited to see strangers she loves people yep [Music] it is all right so much thank you sorry [Music] have a great day all right guys we are back in the garage that was a pretty amazing day of garage sales actually the whole weekend was pretty incredible in the past i've i've not done very well with like community type sales and neighborhood sales it seems like they're super aggressively early-birded i mean you can show up like a half hour early like the whole neighborhood's already picked over my normal garage sale strategy is to look for pretty large sales in less populated areas where i can kind of take my time and don't have a lot of competition and it just kind of works out for me this weekend however there were a few nearby community sales and neighborhood sales so i decided just to kind of devote the weekend to garage sale hopping not spending too much time at any one sale and just kind of seeing what i could do and man did it turn out fantastic what you just saw was day one and day two was believe it or not even better so that video is coming out in a couple days and i'm excited to make that one because it was so great but this stuff is amazing too so it just kind of turned into a really great weekend so there is quite a bit of stuff so i can't spend too much time but let me just really quickly show you what i picked up on day one to resell first sale right off the bat hit a mega score with this stack of games here they were a buck a piece so i spent six dollars got a couple guitar heroes i do have an xbox 360 les paul to lock that up with a ps2 version i got a couple ps2 guitars to to make one big bundle with we got gran turismo 4 and ghost recon those are no big deal midway arcade's greatest hits for ps1 but the great find is this mega man legends for ps1 this game right here is complete in box and it can sell for between 80 and 100 bucks so that is awesome and it was a great way to start the day needs a little cleaning on the bottom but uh i'm super excited to have found that sale number two which i thought i was at a different sale and honestly i would have liked to have spent more time here but i needed to get to the next one see that's the downfall with these community sales i can't i can't just like spend 45 minutes at the same sale but i did pick up some really amazing stuff uh start with this in old thermos it was a dollar i just like the colors a 1960 indiana license plate super rusted out but it was only a quarter and i just thought it looked cool i don't know what this box is but it was two bucks and i just thought it was kind of cool super heavy duty and wooden uh maybe it held in medicine or something for another 25 cents picked up this old jcpenney solid state am radio battery compartment's clean that should do pretty well no real comps on it because i haven't seen any available i'm thinking that should do pretty well for three bucks i picked up this garmin only because it was a lifetime lapse version it's a 50 lm with the charger and a case and a mount and probably get 35 bucks for that on the low end this was the best score from that sale i had done well with this brand before see conic so i went ahead and picked up this light meter super clean battery compartment actually stored the battery outside of the outside of the unit so that was smart it was four bucks and this sells for between like 70 and 90 bucks just by itself so the scores were definitely starting to add up at this point at the next sale just right down the road i had uh seen little bitty pictures of these phones in the listing and i kind of zoomed in i couldn't see what the model numbers were but i was guessing that they were new old stock panasonic office phones which is exactly what they were i think two were marked at 20 and two were marked at 15. i ended up getting them all for 50 just because i bundled them all and that was a terrific deal i used to buy a lot of the panasonic cordless phones and stuff not too interested in those anymore there's a few models that are good but for the most part i stay away from them but since these were new old stock business phones i was i was pretty excited to buy these these are all brand new one of these kx t7020s are missing the uh manual i'll just price that one a little bit cheaper and make note of it but just kind of based on recent comps and what's available now i'm probably gonna price this one here at about 129 i'll probably price this kxt 7030 at probably 89.99 i'll probably do 89.99 on one of these and the one without the manual maybe 79.99 i think those are pretty realistic prices and actually that would make me i think the cheapest on all of them on ebay currently so i don't think i'll have a problem getting close to that also at that sale picked up this new old stock hp large format paper roll it was only five bucks and i mean these these do sell pretty decently but they're just kind of heavy and bulky it's already packed in in a nice little shipping box but if it doesn't seem like it's worth my while i might just keep this for the kids to draw in just a nice big big wide roll of paper a set of new old stock easy jack 2 2 pack this was one dollar and this should sell for between 40 and 50 bucks on its own so definitely look out for those especially when they're new old stock like this this john wayne box set was only a dollar so i grabbed it probably stick that in the antique booth or something a genuine brother dr 420 drum units this was 10 and i should be able to get like 50 shipped or like 35 or 40 plus shipping and then i just really like this little i think it's a pelican a little wooden box it's got some nice carved eyes on it articulating legs the mouth opens and i don't i don't know what you would have used this for but i thought it was really cool for a dollar at the next still found a lot more really cool things bought a couple bags of hot wheels for the kids and this little gaming former magazine but here's a nice little bumblebee transformer statue paid five for that it's probably worth like 15 though a new bright jeep rubicon it didn't have the controller or anything but i figured if nothing else on these you can kind of part them out and like sell the body and sell the wheels and stuff like that so that was okay for five bucks a microsoft xbox one controller missing the battery compartment but for a dollar that was a no-brainer because you can still sell these as long as they work for up to like 30 bucks 25 30 bucks so definitely not bad there and then we got a bunch of hats um the hats were only 10 cents and i know that some of you are probably saying just buy all the hats but a lot of them were trash the the condition wasn't great and i have enough trash to go through so so i just kind of cherry-picked some of them especially some of the cool trucker hats like this florida one ocean city new jersey there's another florida this one's really cool too bad it's the pacers but i mean we're in the indiana so that's what you're going to find but it's an old starter cap it's the tri power the right hat you know all the tags you want to see got the nice six panel design on the top and this one's actually in really good shape so that one might actually do pretty well even though it's pacers as the big spell out and the logo on the front another very cool one not in the best condition but it's an old disney and ngm studios hat i believe these are from the 80s i think there's one on ebay right now for like 200 and like two or three hundred bucks i think realistically this is a 30 or 40 hat there's an old pendleton news boycap a harry levinson this one this one's not in the best condition at all it's a donegal hand woven hat that one i just thought looked interesting this one's kind of dirty but i don't know what it's made of but i went ahead and took a chance for a dime a branson trucker hat there's like a new old stock uh kc blank hat and i thought this one was cool with like the denim zipper uh definitely definitely has an 80s look to it um i was happy to buy all those for a diamond piece i think i spent maybe a dollar total for all of them if that and then at the last sale i still did pretty well found some pretty cool stuff just grabbed this hard rock cafe gatlinburg bear because it was because it was new with tags it was only 50 cents this telephone was really neat it was five dollars it's a randex firehouse phone opens up the phones inside these aren't worth the time but i should be able to get probably 35 40 bucks plus shipping for it some little torch heads this one has a maker's mark on it so that should be pretty easy to research a lot of cool stuff inside the house most of it was way expensive i like the little ashtray table it was like 125 and i just i wasn't gonna do it but this is the only thing i bought from inside the house it's like an antique candle wick trimmer or sniffer thing uh it was only five dollars and these can sell for between like 30 and i've seen them go for as high as 90 for these kind of brass looking ornate ones so that's pretty cool nice old wooden trinket box for a dollar i grabbed this because i think that this kind of thing is cool to make jewelry lots with just kind of stuff and full with with uh vintage jewelry and you know it just kind of helps to sell it in my opinion then we have this old chinese porcelain trinket box it was five dollars very ornate with like raised hummingbirds and flowers and butterflies that's what the bottom looks like i've seen similar like old dresser boxes and stuff sell for upwards of 65 70 bucks so for five bucks that was definitely a no-brainer right there and then the last thing i got from that sale is possibly the best thing and uh someone almost stole it out of my pile so i'm glad i remembered that i put them put them in that pile so she could track them down but it's this old hair brush and hand mirror little vanity set these i believe are probably french with these little portraits on them the glass is in very good condition with a little bevel around the edge of it when it comes to stuff like this i don't necessarily have the most discerning eye about whether it's true antique desirable stuff or if it's some sort of knockoff but this stuff looks old to me and the house was old and she was just trying to get rid of stuff so i think there's a good chance it might be but like you know with all this nice filigree and everything i mean these could do pretty well i have no idea what i'll ask for them if anyone has any ideas let me know and it could just be complete garbage but i paid five bucks for the set and i'm actually kind of hopeful for it so we'll see all right guys so that's everything i got from from that first day of uh community sales
