I Beat Super Mario Sunshine Without Hovering! [1/2]

I have only ever beat this game casually I can't remember where all of the shines are the gist of this run you don't use the hover nozzle the main mechanic in the game that you use the most in a casual playthrough is the hover nozzle and you can't use it in this round so that's what we're doing let's get going isn't like the fastest way to move around like diving this game you do the one thing that's weird is that the left and right is reversed compared to Odyssey for this game so I'm gonna be like trying to turn the camera right and left and get it opposite so often I don't know how to aim I can't remember most of the controls to be honest how does anyone speedrun this game with a 10-minute cutscene at the start how much of a meme run is this this is actually like a main category on the leaderboards there's any percent and then there's hover lists right beside it on the leaderboards so this is actually like a legitimate category that people are like into getting used to the aiming is gonna take me probably like a few minutes give it like half hour so but once I get the controls down I feel like we'll be able to play a little bit better all mazels are allowed apart from Huzur hover nozzle there you go there we go yeah look at me look at me I don't actually know where I need to go for the first shine then jumps exist yes and they sound so satisfying just listen to this isn't that nice this guy and I think this is shrine number one you see I guess he's dead that works oh let me up you can't roll out into it all right we gotta go God how do we even get up there don't you need the hovering also for that one honestly - looking great I captured flood oh use my hover nozzle to cross large gaps no I actually have no idea how I'm gonna go across this I bet I can no oh you know what you do this yeah walk across hover nozzle no okay think we're on the right track now like I I don't know if I can make this jump can I even make this alright well is the I should try using the hover nozzle here no you can't make me good nailed it get up no get up there we go they want me to hover around it oh god yeah I think I get like a side flip nope nope that's not gonna the shine here Google uber breaks out looks like they want you to platform all the way along there and I don't think we can touch this it probably yeah it hurts us immediately I think we're just gonna have to go to the intended way levels like this I'm gonna have a lot of trouble with because it requires precise platforming which I'm not good at the thing is if I fall at any point here we're just got to restart this whole section I'm so dead oh no you can make it Mario I believe okay does anyone have another strat that I can use to get across that easier the others track called the hover nozzle good point I hate this but we might have to do casual strats but like it's actually so much harder to do casual traps I think I feel like we might be able to spin jump and dive over there if I level is so long no oh you bonked on what are we gonna game over here no what are you doing some made of ice if you want to roll it on the slope you start running really fast that's how you died there okay well like that I tried to roll out on the slope but he just ran really fast no one is gonna come to the stream and be like damn this guy is speedrunning I'm playing casually with a timer on my chest no without a game over I feel like I can make this with a spin jump dive okay I definitely couldn't but I was still saved so this looks like absolute hell no what I thought I'd died and I just started what if I just wait until the cogs line up that take like 10 years I'm not doing that you're fine you're fine Mario Mario is fine you can make it wait for this one jump dive and then kill feature that allow do you like hover a little bit in the air that would make this game so much better like if they just had a feature like that I would definitely recommend it since there's no feature like that I can't say that this is gonna be an incredible like honestly this is just a waste of my time I really should just put down the game at this point if they added a hover nozzle this would be a great game but that's a it's unfortunate that it doesn't exist better um boy better run nice we've done it okay he's he shines man area we are in the secret okay this is an easy one isn't it a lot moon in the game shine in the game I'm I'm a little stuck on Odyssey right now you just type during important parts so you get to the YouTube video be still do it what's my favorite 2d Mario it's either Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros 3 I'm not sure which oh yeah drink your water know you're thirsty I can sense it you need more oh good boy try again alright let's go would you rather see when you would die or how you would die probably you when you could like jump off of a building and if it's not when you die then then you'd know you'd survive somehow like you could do so many extra for like 20 minutes once we get this done it'll be easy nice how though how though I overshot it again oh we just missed it yo let's go yo this next one should also be pretty hard okay another hour in
