welcome in this video I'll show you how you can invite the jockey music bot to your Discord server firstly I want to show you how to invite the bot and then I'll show you the dashboard and how you can actually set the bot up and use it to play music in your Discord server now first you need to go to jockey music.com and then you need to click on status and in here you can see that there are many different bots so you have the free Bots here you can see jockey music has four Bots and then there are some premium Bots as well but since we are not since we do not have the Premium plan those are not relevant now I'll invite this first one right here because this is the most popular one I'll click on invite and then a new browser tab will open up where you can select the server where you would like to invite that bot to then you can click on continue and here you can see the permissions that you're granting jockey the jockey music bot and then you can click on authorize if you're fine with that you can see after confirming that you're a human human you will see that jockey music has been authorized and added to the server so if we go into our Discord server um here then we can see that jockey music um is now in our Discord server so what we can do now we can give it the bot roll in case you don't have a bot roll you can just set up a bot roll in your server yeah in your server roles now if you go back to the website here you can click on dashboard and then on log in this will again open up a new page where you need to log into your disc Discord account and after you click on authorize after logging in you can see that you are now in the jockey music dashboard so here you can click on statistics and you can see that give the server jockey music boost to get access to more than 7 Days of Statistics so if you would like to see more stat statistics you can give it a boost which basically means that you'll need to pay something so here if you click on my stats you can see that here are the stats of this bot now in order to actually use this spot we'll click on jockey music right here so we'll want to go to the homepage one sec so here we are now on the homepage and in order to actually get started we need to click on commands and on this commands list you can see that there are actually a lot of commands here now we won't go through all of those but we will here need to select playback because playback is probably the most important type of command and then you can see the command here play so this basically means that you can cute a track or playlist from a search term or URL you can see the usage here and you can also see the options so now you can see there are um options like search so you can display the search results instead of getting um or playing the first one then you have search type so uh search tracks support or the search supports uh SoundCloud Spotify dieser Apple music and Tio unfortunately it does not support YouTube as you may know and in order to actually use this we will now go into to our Discord server so in our Discord server we will we will need to type in um/ playay oh actually I'm sorry just play and then I don't know sing me a song and you can now see that the bot should reply seems like that doesn't work so we will type in M exclamation mark help and let's let's try this with M exclamation mark and then play just type that in and you can see here is the exact usage so you need to type in M exclamation Mark play and then the search term we will take the song see you again so I'll type in see you again and I'll also include the option of let me see what this is search search is the option so we want to display all of the search results so we will type in Search and in here you can see jockey music has actually joined the channel and it is now starting to play this song I have muted the spot because it's actually very loud but you can see that it starts playing this song right here now in order to actually stop this we will take a look at the commands uh website again so if we scroll down we should see that here is the leave command so if you would like the bot to leave the voice Channel you can just type in M exclamation mark leave so let's see it should be under track state and here we can see here is the pause command so if we now go into Discord and exclamation mark pause you can see that track has been passed at um yeah at 50 7 Seconds now if I unmute the spot it's not playing any music if I now type in M exclamation mark play you can see oh actually we will need to type in M exclam exclamation mark uh resume and now we can see that it's playing the music again so now we know how to use the music bot to play music in voice channels if you take a look at the website again you can see there are also some more options we will take a look at FAQ real quick because that is pretty pretty important so here you have a short description about how to set up the bot now we've
