hey folks Philly boy Jay back here with another video in a day I'm going to show you guys how to make ranch style deviled eggs yes I put a ranch on my deviled eggs as you guys know Memorial Day is here and the other summer holidays are coming up like fourth of July and Labor Day which is in September and people like they have cookouts on these holidays and one of the things that a lot of people like to bring to a cookout is double days so we're going to talk about the seasonings that you're going to need for this double day's recipe you're going to need some Old Bay seasoning you're gonna need some black pepper a small amount of sugar that's going to add sweetness to the deviled eggs you're going to need some salt you don't have salt you can use a little bit of seasoning salt as a replacement some people do put seasoning salt and that deviled eggs instead of salt and you're going to need some paprika you're going to garnish it once it's done with paprika okay just sprinkle a little bit of paprika on top that's just for decoration purposes and garlic and onion powder is optional my family always like to use garlic and onion powder when a deviled eggs and that's just to give it additional flavor and taste and we're only going to use a small amount of each about one a teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder all right so make sure you have all of those seasonings all day sugar black pepper paprika salt onion and garlic powder and I also have some green onions here some people call them scallions I like to dice them up it's a really really small pieces and I sprinkled them on top of the deviled eggs once they're done along with the paprika for decoration purposes all right so make sure you have some scallions you only need about 1 skål you okay guys in the condiments that we're gonna be using our Mayo yellow mustard my family like to use Dijon mustard but I think Dijon mustard just overpowers the other flavors of the deviled eggs and it's too so I don't like to use Dijon mustard it's too spicy but if that's what you like you can use it but for my recipe we're going to be using regular yellow mustard you will need some ranch because we're making ranch style doubled eggs and you're going to need some sweet relish all right if you don't think that you would like that ranch flavor that the ranch give the devil Whigs you can leave that out and just use mayo mustard and sweet brother what we're going to do first is get a pot and fill it all the way up with water okay guys so we're going to place a pot of water on the stove over high heat and we're going to add the six eggs once the water comes to a boil you okay guys so as you can see the water is starting to bubble so that mean that it's pretty hot and here are my eggs I'm going to be using some large size eggs always use half of the amount of eggs of total double eggs that you want so if you want 18 deviled eggs you use nine eggs umm I want 12 doubled eggs so we're going to be boiling six of them because we're going to split them in half as you guys know so what I'm going to do is get the eggs and place them on a spoon on the side and slowly drop them in so they don't crack because as you know eggs are fragile and they will crack okay okay guys so here are my six eggs I'm going to let them go for at least fifteen minutes if not twenty just to ensure that they're cooked all the way through and we're boiling these on medium-high heat it's not on super high but it's towards the high side medium-high heat all right I'll get back with you guys when they're done after 15-20 minutes okay guys so we're going to cut the fire off now it's been about 15 to 20 minutes so our ate should be done boiling and here's what we're going to do with these hot eggs what I'm going to do is we want to get a big bowl I'm going to put some ice cubes in the bowl along with some cool water and I'm going to place the eggs and that bowl I'm going to allow them to cool off in that icy cold bowl of water for about an hour so frak it like that and I'll kill it all as the water runs on to the egg see how easily to show come off when you do it as well Hey I want to set the egg aside this bowl right here okay guys so we have our bowl of eggs we have a cutting board in a big mixing bowl that we're going to mix our egg yolks in and what we're going to do is we're going to cut the eggs the long way like this okay like that there cut it down the middle a long road sloped out there just like that see that okay guys so what we going to do now is we're going to get a small spoon we're going to scoop the yolk out into a mixing bowl alright so I'm going to scoop the yolk out of all of these eggs into the mixing bowl like this hair right press them buddy well while you make sure you get all the lumps out of it okay so that's our egg yolk what we're going to do is we're gonna season it first and let me tell you how much of each seasoning I use this is a teaspoon we're going to use about a half a teaspoon of salt about that much there not too much salt all right definitely don't want to over season this we'll use about a half teaspoon of pepper about that much there a little bit of each seasoning because the condiments are going to give it flavor you just want to give it additional flavor with the seasoning um I like to add a full teaspoon of sugar okay tomato four teaspoons of sugar with the old baby and add a half a teaspoon all day gives it a nice flavor and I'm gonna add a very small amount of garlic powder and onion powder these seasonings are rather strong so don't use that much they get like 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder 19 pot okay so those are all of the season is we're going to season a goat with stir that anybody well okay what we gonna do is add our condiments now okay there are four economist that we're gonna be using economist that we talked about earlier let me go to yellow mustard the ranch dressing and the sweet relish and I start off with a little bit of each first though I'm gonna do is I'm going to use two tablespoons of mayo first actually I'll use three tickles more than me up I'm going to use one big tablespoon of ranch I'm gonna use about a teaspoon of mustard and 2 teaspoons of sweet relish all right you're gonna blend that all in if you need more you can add more later but want to add a small amount at first so it's not too wet all right I like miles to be kinda on the thicker side but those are my measurements and if you wanted to be a little sweeter you can add more relish um if you like need a little more of any of the greedy ingredients that we have here you can add more like my family they like their uh double eggs to be really sabor so they add a lot of mustard you think you're a lot like yours would be a little more side where you can have more mustard all depends upon your taste but start off with these amounts first let me give it a little taste see what I need more of em yes that is perfect I think I want a little more relish it's may I have one more teaspoon ur brothers and I think I want a little more mmm that is good a packet that came out so good just a little more sugar I had about a half a teaspoon of sugar more that was good Wow this is a great double a dress if you guys you got to try this out I don't have my double eggs plate we could get set the double ways into um somebody else has that right now so I'm just going to scoop the mixture into the eggs sit it on the plate and garnish it with some paprika and some scallions for decoration purposes all right so let's do that now okay guys so here's our eggs we're going to get our infamous paper plate and we're going to scoop the mixture into the eggs just like that one make sure that it's kind of coming over they all right all right just like that and there you go guys are doubled eggs they look absolutely delicious they taste delicious double D's can't get too much better than this I really hope you guys try this recipe we're going to sprinkle a little bit of paprika on them top each of them with some scallions now guys as you can see there are only five deviled eggs here there were twelve and now there are only five that's because I ate a lot of them because they were just so delicious but what I like to do is I like to set them in the refrigerator so that the a mixture can kinda stiffen up and I like my deviled eggs chilled I like them kind of cool they just taste better than me some people like them warm but uh yeah I try to sit them in the refrigerator for a little while and then eat them okay mmm but yeah try to set them in the refrigerator for a little while before eating them so that the egg yolk can kind of stiffen up all right bye guys peace you
