How To Make Seamless Digital Paper That You Can Use To Start You Own Brand

hello hello and welcome back to my channel i am ebony smith i am the owner of purposely creative design studio and your creative plug here to give you a quick little tip like a secret little tip on how you can create your own digital paper that you can either sell on etsy create a fabricator design bundles or you can start your own print or domain line with leggings bags travel bags notebooks the opportunities are endless and did i mention that this is a you know a little top secret bit of information but stay tuned [Music] okay welcome back so now we're going to start designing in canva and canva is completely free to have two options where you can have the free account or you can sign up for the pro account but for this tutorial all you will need is the free accounts because we're going to get the free elements so to start off i like to just use the instagram square um post so we're just going to click that and we're going to just throw some of the basic shapes and elements on this canvas and select a color palette that we want for our digital paper or our surface pattern design [Music] now that i have everything that i want laid out i'm going to come here go to share and download and one make sure it download is a png now that that is done the very next thing we're going to do the top secret site that i was telling you about is called wrapper um i'm not sure how many people have heard of it or using it but it is a website that i completely love because you can make so many different patterns in like 10 minutes you can make or not even 10 minutes like in three minutes you can make up to like 10 15 patterns at a time and they're all seamless and they're perfect to sell for [Music] digital paper or you can use to put on your own open up your own fabric store on sunflower or you can do your own line of leggings with print on demand like the opportunities and possibilities are endless which you can do and wrapper for the price like price is amazing for all the things that you can do you can literally make your money back each month um for your subscription so for the pro version is 9.99 a month and it's commercial use so whatever you make inside of wrapper is yours you own that you can sell so the hobby is if you just want to make something just for yourself you're not looking to sell it it's just personal use only and i have the pro version because i create and sell things on creative fabrica um that's where most of my digital paper packs are and then i also use them on my site to make my own leggings in travel bags so let's just hop right on in open it up and i'll make sure to put the link to wrapper down in the comments and we want to do new project so here you can name it whatever you want to name it i'm just going to leave mines with today's date and i'm going to select the image that we did in canva and here's where all the fun begins so up here there's different options for the different tiling that you can have for the seamless pattern to repeat itself and this just caught my eye i don't know why it's pretty um and up here if you want to see what it would look like on a physical product you just hit 3d and if you say you want to do print-on-demand pillows here's an option here and then if you want to see the design um more of the pattern just go here and minimize the how the pattern repeats and you have a pillow now if you come down here you can select what it would look like on a coffee mug leggings a notebook a blanket a scarf a t-shirt a mug and a dress and the good thing is you can take the mock-up the 3d mock-up and place that on your instagram posts your facebook post or your etsy listen or create a fabric listing if you're selling as digital paper so that your customers have an idea of how that digital paper can be used so here's what it looks like on a dress on a notebook and some leggings these letters are actually kind of cute okay so let's go back to the surface so surface is where you can see the repeated pattern here and if you just want to go to the tile that's just one part of what makes the big surface pattern i like to just stick with the surface and if you come up here to the dream it will walk this cursor across your image that you uploaded to make your pattern here and if it's something that you like you can just hit the plus sign to take a snapshot of that so i'm going to show you how it just moves across the screen to come up with different seamless patterns for you and you can always hit stop and hit the save snapshot if it comes across a pattern that you happen to like you can also walk your cursor across to come up with different designs here sorry my mouse is glitching on me what's going on and you can come down hit the drop down and you can select the different types of tiles italian sorry that you would want and if you want a seamless like repeated pattern if you upload an image so let me see what other image i have here in my library that i can show you guys so let's say if you had just a regular image um that you want to make the whole background digital paper or seamless pattern of just that image here you go boom you can make it bigger and there you go and you can use this on leggings and a notebook cover now this image is a exclusive image by coco twins for being part of her membership one of her girlfriends shout out to miesha and the reason that the background here is gray is because it's a transparent background image so if you want your background hair to be white then you will have to do it um in canva or upload a picture with a white background or a jpeg that has a white background so that's how you can create your own digital um see and how the pattern here is repeated all over i actually like this one too so so i'm look i'm trying to do a tutorial and show you guys and i'm over here like i can use this i can sell this this is cute too so see how you can get lost in the software it's so much fun now you can also come over to effects and you can adjust the color so you can make it brighter you can make it darker so it's so many different ways you can customize your digital paper or your digital surface pattern to sell or to start your own clothing brand and so many different things that you can do here like half tone different sizes it's it's endless so to export i always do custom because if you're doing print on demand you want to make sure that you're using the same exact measurements that they give you to make sure that your pattern comes out fully just crisp no blurriness whatsoever so if you come here and go to custom under export and do pixels because most print-on-demand companies like printful or printfi they give you the pixels of the designs that you need to upload or if you're doing just digital paper you can change from here from pixels to inches and do 12 by 12 and you can also change how many times you want your pattern to repeat so if i wanted it more if i want more of the squares and the circle and the waves i just increase right here under repeat but if i don't want that many you can decrease it or you can just type in the number and now you come down here in the type so you can do a jpeg or a png i always do png i don't know why i just maybe i'm biased i just like png format and then hit export and it will give you the png um file that you can upload and share you can i'm not sure you well actually you can if you want to give it away as a freebie to build email lists so if you want people to sign up say hey um get three free digital papers um packs to help create your print on demand store or to offer to sale for per or for offer for personal use or if you want to just open up an xc slow with nothing but digital paper or create a fabrica or design bundles or even creative market i know design cuts is another store that you can do like the possibilities are endless and it only takes you just a few seconds to come up with the
