How to Make a FiveM Server in 2021 (NEW)

hello guys today i'm going to be showing you how to make a 5m server before i get started if you're interested in rocket note 5m hosting be sure to check the description for a 25 off coupon to use at checkout so the first thing we want to do we want to navigate to 5m.net create your own server host your own server and you're going to want to install visual c plus plus redistributable i already have installed but if you click it you would just click on this run through the installation process and it will take 30 40 seconds at most so now what we want to do we want to click on your file explorer your local disk right click new folder name it fx server capital f capital x capital s e r v er now we're going to scroll down all the way down until we see traditional installation steps for windows so now what we want to do we are going to want to click on artifact server latest recommended open it where you're going to want to drag all these files into fx server i just use ctrl a you can drag all of them at once just selecting all of them it's up to you now what we want to do we want to go to oh right here clone cfx server data you want to click it code download zip now we're going to open this double tap and then we'll see resources we're going to drag just that file into effect server now that we've done that we just want to scroll down to the server.cfg drag there ctrl c and you could do this on your desktop just contr right click new text document open it paste all the information save as and then you're going to want to navigate to the drive so i'm gonna click local drive fx server now we're here and we're gonna click all files and then name it server.cfg boom we could delete this and now in here we'll have the resources the main files and the server.cfg so we're going to right click the server.cfg edit with notepad we're going to open a new tab and go to keymaster.5m dotnet enter you're going to need to sign in if you're ready of a 5m forms account it's going to put you automatically in even if not you still might have to sign in but you'd click sign in and enter all your information i already have an account so it's going to let me in but that's how you do it on your end so now once you're in you're gonna click register display name i'm gonna put test initial server i p address you could go to whatsmyip.com oh whatever uh your public ip you're gonna copy it put it there server type home hosted provider it's your house so generate copy the key and paste it right here so once we do this now what we need to do we gotta put in the server.bat so we're gonna go over we're gonna look up 5m server.bat enter you're gonna click the top one which should be the simple server starter click it and then you're gonna copy the windows version make a new text document on your computer desktop open it paste this in and we're going to change this directory listing to our directory so we're going to click up here and we'll copy our directory and there we go and since this is the newer version we're going to change change the run.cmd to fx server exactly how i type it with capitals.exe we're going to click save as local disk fx server we're gonna save it to starter.bat and change the type to all files save now we can delete this on our computer and this was pretty much the last step now all we need to do we want to double click the starter.app let it load and now we can basically open 5m and test it out this is just a yarn info installing you don't have to worry about that let it load up so now all you have to do to connect is here i'll show you once we're in you could if this button doesn't show up you could click f8 connect space space local host one word but since it does pop up i'm just going to click on the desktop and it's going to bring us right into our server and this is the default loading screen you could change the loading screen add different scripts depending on what you want your game mode to be like on your server and let it load and yeah that is pretty much it now you have your own 5m server you could do whatever you want within whatever scripts customize it but that's pretty much it i hope you guys enjoyed thank you for watching
