Forza Horizon 5 - The Road is Lava Challenge!

we did this once in forza horizon 4 and it was very successful and a lot of people loved it and they immediately recommended that we bring it back for this game and that is the road is lava challenge which is a very simple concept we're going to try and make it from one point of the map to the other and we cannot touch an inch a speckle centimeter millimeter anything of our rubber tires onto the asphalt of the road none of which we just completely gotta avoid it all we can so that means that we're also going to treat this time in a very realistic sense so what i want you guys to build is like literally an apocalyptic survival car in that like if the road actually was lava and we had to go embark on this epic conquest across this map like what's something that like has the space for all your like goods and survival needs but also has the off-road jumping capabilities that you guys will be able to avoid and you know possibly jump over the lava road if we need to that's pretty much it so without further ado we could go use the this knight to go create our vehicles and we'll rendezvous first thing in the morning with what we got in store i'm just going to be building my stuff at the buenas vista's house i like building it in the festival though because you just if it's night time you can't see your car at the house ooh that's kind of true i guess i've been lucky we've been building most of our stuff like in the day i got i got the perfect car in mind for this i mean i'm just gonna say that for those of you guys in the lobbies like there's a ton of luxury or just good suvs in general that they added off-road kits for and i'm completely taking advantage of that for this challenge so i could advise that you may want to as well basically no uh lifted four five eights i mean you could but space cause uh dude you'd have no if you took a lifted 458 across an apocalyptic map with the road is lava one they've already had an early fire hazard issue on like burning down when they first came out so i don't even know how they would stand around the heats of lava as well as the fact that yeah you're an italian supercar with that level of reliability on top of that level of low luggage space i don't know man but you know y'all do you on top of your own personal body i'm just going to stay quiet as i'm just like is there no 6x6 raptor in this game there is yeah there's a velociraptor in this game it's because it's under hennessy ah that's why you can't find it that makes sense all right this thing already has 12 cylinders i'm going to leave all 12 of them in damn you got double them even michael you got six cylinders yeah they're very strong six cylinders very strong that should be a hint of what engines going in this y'all throwing the 2jz you got offering that iron block dude lance for real has a point i'm literally doing all this in the dark right now yeah this is kind of this i'm living in luxury bro i'm at the auto show i got my platform i need off-road springs and i need to make them and tune them to be as soft and squishy as possible is the daylight adaptive when you're in upgrading outside i don't know but it's sunrise right now so but i can't tell if this sunrise has gotten any brighter in the like 10 minutes of me being in here so you could have a rally diff but you could also have an off-road diff rally's better than the off-road what's the difference though there's absolutely no difference it's just the preset settings in the tuning off-road sets it to a complete diff lock on everything so you're completely set to 100 on acceleration deceleration rally does i think 80 or 60 i can't remember so you get a bit more of a thing and also i believe sets the balance towards the rear of the vehicle um i'm not going to lie i didn't expect a thorough answer to that question oh my god we're not going to go into this yo wait what's on the side i don't know why the is that so high quality what the i don't know it was either this or some indian kid bro what what oh no oh no who took the time to make that i don't know but i found it it's worth it jesus all right gents what we got going on over here what how how i'm going in the drone mode for this dude there's no way that was made by the dude that has to be modded in or something there's no way dude delivery editor has like a maximum of like 3 000 uh different uh pieces or whatever that you could do it's probably similar to what you can do with like scribblio where you basically have like a bot individually put each dot in or kind of like you'll take a picture and it'll like pixelate it oh my gosh dude it's his his face is on the roof jeebus has a very similar idea that's a that's a pretty solid car feed if any feed is probably can fit the most survival goods in there but i don't know how like how far that thing can jump i mean right now he's about to test it out he might be able to jump over the buenos vista's house oh jesus oh dude he's slamming my bentley okay flukey's so far in the smallest car we got uh is it opal opponent yeah and then it's obviously tj swapped yeah he's kind of familiar with that thing oh 2j swap oh wait you you got 2j in the defender hell yeah that's sick that's so cool why did they let you do that that's so dumb it's better than whatever the was in this thing it's usually a v8 justin with the freaking 6x6 velociraptor i mean that honestly would be my basic pick but i didn't want to be too open i didn't want to put too much thought into it oh and then we got another 6x6 the 6x6 g-wagon the the most famous 6x6 i want to say oh my gosh dude okay get over this house wait feeds feeds lining up he's going to feeds way back there he's lining up he's gonna clear this house i'm gonna sit here and wait he's coming oh oh dude completely over completely over so this is this is samir samir is mother man he's in the 6x6 uh he doesn't have a mic right now but i think we're all gonna go test get a shot at this oh boy oh and then lance has got hey we got a jeep grand cherokee i might need to extend my gear ratios i don't know come on all 12 cylinders w12 power house where's the house at come on oh dude can't waste no more time at the house we got a map to cross now we're already all here starting out and we're on the complete left side of the map the west coast of mexico over here i guess our group point should be literally to the other shore it's gonna be to the other house the i don't even wanna pronounce that the um oh yeah we're already starting on the road okay um let's let's let's start over here on the beach yeah we'll go we'll go let's actually all start on the beach coast to coast road is lava challenge this is exactly what we're doing and we have a really good pick at a bunch of these large vehicles we got a lot of survival gear and everything we need to trek the hot roads place your bets in the comments on who's gonna be the only one that even makes it or if anyone even makes it but let's go i see my marked point it's literally 11.7 miles way over there oh i see a ham jump in the road so this is this is going to be tactical everyone seems to want to go directly south so i'm just going to follow the group but this is actually one of the races so you can get there quicker like no i it's just all about us all getting there i didn't have the balls to try and jump that but and if you do touch it then you are out and you just gotta follow along the pack in drone mode however you can now comes the uh wait if i roll my car onto my roof this is still kind of touching the road yeah because if the road was actually lava you would just sink into it still oh damn okay we're in a predicament here yeah did jebus make it over apparently he did but the road still goes over there there's this right there yeah i'm kind of stuck here oh i made it let's go oh we're all right and there's another dirt road here uh yes sir all right gentlemen i'm gonna go we'll go for it i'm gonna oh that was close but i'm over wait i'm gonna watch it i'm gonna watch you guys y'all go i mean this isn't a race this is this is kind of a group effort so um yeah i mean you guys could go for speed but i just want to see my boys okay it looks like lance crossed it hey i did it's close though all right we still got flukey and feet we got the smallest car and the biggest car oh well once you all cross you're gonna be in a uh weird situation oh here comes spooky flying right over imagine if you just flew and you had so much velocity you accidentally skidded into the road on the other now okay it was just a minor skit across but you know what you just got your tires hot they're a little toasty right now we might need a square spray in the trunk but you know you know what they say if you if you touch something for like a split second sometimes i don't know the the chemistry and all that but you know how sometimes your hands may not actually get burnt that's kind of what that is but yeah now this is okay now now we just entered a new block of things so let me check the big map um yeah we're surrounded by there's a this main road to our right is we're gonna have to conquer that there is a dirt road to our left here dude i'm thinking yeah yeah you guys are way up here if you guys conquer that that'll leave you so much place with no road road this is a dirt road here i think we can come over here oh wait i know how i'm crossing this hold on a second i'll take y'all thinking too hard you literally just hit this like this hill right here next to the road you should be able to clean up why are you going backwards there's not that much room if you guys come out further here this is the way i found it all right okay i'm gonna go how did you get past oh wait that's so dirty yeah this is dirt road this is the dirt country here hey look he's having fun all right show me the ways this is the way this is the way dude we got our wolf pack all right uh stop it if you look at the map stop oh [Laughter] if you look at the map if we cross over this road we can literally like take the mountain yeah but you're not crossing that road there's no elevation to jump it at any point if we would have to let's do some scouting we just got to find an area that has and then we can take the house of the massive incline leverage hit us with your elevation i mean wait can you jump it from that's not you might be able to jump it from where i am jumping i tried jumping this and it no i'm lying you know where we crossed earlier there's like a slight inclination there but i need a lot of speed but you can like jump sort of i think i think i can do it i think i'm gonna go for it i'm gonna go for it i'm gonna go for it this way there's lance going for something lance is big chilling so now we just unlocked ourselves a whole bunch of land whole bunch of land i made my jump i'm gone baby all right we just got a scout around this big volcano this is so fun we got the oh i have my own issues this is like grand tour when they have like an objective but then when i'm gonna get stuck and we all just leave yeah yeah please don't leave me behind i think i think you guys actually could possibly help me with this come on flukey i just need a little bit of contact i need one of the big boys one of the six by six boys oh yeah yeah yeah yes yes the bentega is saved if diamond stitch seats probably massage seats okay here's my question guys if the road shows up as like red does it really count as like an actual like pavement dirt road dirt road a dirt road's to dirt road asphalt is like the equivalent to lava because it looks like gravel or ass i don't know i can't really see yeah but still what we're saying is dirt is dirt and asphalt oh my gosh floogy you flipped me i'm sorry oh good thing we got badger on this thing yeah my thought i was going for a thematic and this is going to be easy is our opals reliable hell no i don't know anything about him but that something that's that foreign doesn't sound reliable at all the batman itself isn't too bad at least it has a head gasket problem dude i wish there was a road right behind this big cliff side i'd love to just jump this you can there is one i mean not really not this one i'm talking about all right we're we're trekking we're going through fast now i've got the rocks these big folders just behind things and you can't see yeah wait justin what'd you do to the motor on the 6x6 velociraptor i just swapped it with the twin turbo v8 and oh gotcha yeah hey boys i'm coming i'm coming yeah where did feed go feeds still behind he's right there i go there as far as the servers do all right at this point do we should we just yeah we should probably cross over eh we gotta go over to the right say like cross up over here i mean we can still go up further you might want to go up a little bit further that might be your best but okay if we cross off over here um bye boy there's like this little mountain bit here this should be perfect food you can use this as a round just like that asphalt road yeah i guess i have to go back here and hit this jump i'll be back oh yeah feeds blocked in over i need to run off nearly lost it oh okay this this is the angle oh i if i attack it like that and get enough speed what is the angle i may need a lot of speed yeah i'm also very light though i like i want to just follow directly behind you this is all about like big suspension travel because that's a hard hit bumper we stay hungry yeah i'm just going to get as much speed as a campaign with me it's about driving it's about power hungry we do drive up the hill and then cross across um oh i got it boys oh i made it i made it i made it i made it i told you that was the way that was sketch worst part these are like fields um that's what i was saying i don't know how we're going to left a little more fade than that um there's a rivet there we could kind of cross there's like a hill right here oh you're across this would you just go underneath the bridge and then you could come over here oh yeah you could literally go under we could go under the lava yeah you literally just go under the road you go through the river that's genius that's so dude i was literally thinking like oh am i gonna have to use the mounds on either side to jump over the road and i was like oh you just go through it that's so close that's why i picked this jump it's like i knew the river was there oh okay worst case we can take the bridge underneath be fine all right we've knocked out like five miles we're we're almost halfway through still with y'all i'm still alive now comes where the stadium is this could be a difficult bit this is everything's getting flat so places wow oh hang on pancake oh it's a stunt jump there if someone feels brave enough this looks like a hill but then it just gets so flat oh i know i know where we can oh i found a place right over here right over here i mean this is oh that sounds like a plaque we can get back towards the river so following the river yeah yeah yeah if we take the reverse uh we can actually go yeah that's i know exactly okay cool i don't know that's perfect a little bit of a jump there we're going this way yeah this is this is the opposite this isn't the right way i mean if it does it come around yeah yeah i'm glad my thing's lifted yo we area yeah but hopefully there's more elevation here jesus that big boulder that's a hell of a wow well i mean good thing guys that we could always go back down because we have the river and jump over any roads yet so it's the dwayne the the walk a nickname the big rock dwayne walker walker oh playing with lava dude it just flattens out right next to the road come on oh we got a big slope right here yeah we're good yeah yeah easy okay hang on i don't have speed for that i'm not sure if there's a way no if we go to the north side here the north side where the trees are normal north side the north side yeah we can jump over and then we can literally go straight all right that wasn't well isn't this a dirt road no it isn't no but if we go to the north side of this we can uh just literally jump over and then um go straight to the like destination dude that's true it's literally one road crossing away and then you could just be on the coast the entire time and go on the beach yo we got this where are we going what are you talking about we just gotta cross this north road and then we gotta go and then we go to the right and we follow along it we just use the beach to get us all the way down this is gonna be road it doesn't matter like if you're in the middle of the coast north coast south coast as long as you're on the coast the coast the beach will take you now we just got to hunt for a road crossing oh we're in jungle land now this is brutal this is literally the finale this is like the last thing we need to call it the boss battle yeah and this is this is difficult justin's like that i was thinking we could jump over some but uh i mean right here there's like potential here i don't think we're heavy vehicles are going to make that dead end pretty much no we could just go back i mean we could cross back over through this slope i guess speed build up time clip cleared clear got the clears you got the clears all right this should be there's got to be an easy way to cross this road you literally cross over the cliffside i swear dude you here's the right move on that little thing because that thing's so agile you could build up speeds so quick we're all must yeah let's go let's go all right this one easy money easy money come on into a tree all right oh one final road that defender flying in here if you've got enough speed you could do it here it you what do you mean you need to you don't need no jack if you build enough speed off of that jump you can probably cross to the next one like i mean like really send it lookie you don't need speed there's nothing there's literally a river right here yeah there's a river right here ow invisible wall much oh oh oh all right all right we're all going under we're go oh oh there's a waterfall oh oh there goes cheese uh ah yeah i'm stuck i'm stuck come on oh my god this just made it worse oh what is happening all right i'm trying to reverse it as well you're gonna be putting on road so you have to be saved yeah i literally i can't afford to reset oh my god don't flip me over i made it oh we're good over the road help me no oh no oh no no no no no i'll go up no oh we're good i'm not on the road i think i can cross over and help you fade i'm not on a road feed feet i got you i got you dude this is okay the adventure continues when you thought it was over when we thought i was gonna i was gonna jump over see if i could help you boys this river is literally the last thing we need to cross in order to get there and it's like this is still putting up a fight come on there you go how dude that thing is so heavy i weighed 12 000 pounds in this whole weight reduction i oh he's paused wait where'd you reset to oh he's still back up over there all right come on please land whoop whoop all right i'm i'm landed there is no actual asphalt within the way if we go alongside the coast to get to that house this is the home stretch this is the cellar celebrator just lance be careful over there don't touch the road oh my god the water grabs you like nothing like nothing the water grabs me yeah that water grab man oh my god the beach the beach this isn't a beach this is a bathtub the turquoise water the oh okay i guess you can't go through the boats dude we all made it god i'm rapping bro it's never been felt so good to just full speed through the sand i'm doing 220 boys oh my
