How to Install MS Office 365 for FREE

hello everyone so uh in this video we'll be looking at how to install uh the latest version of Word PowerPoint Excel so um because sqv has a partnership with Microsoft we have um we have uh we can install the latest version of Word PowerPoint Excel which is called Office 365 for education for free on our devices on our personal devices so in this video we'll be looking on how to install it now before we proceed to installing it you first will have to uninstall the older version of uh the uh older version of Word PowerPoint Excel that is already on your devices uh so um right now I will show you how to do it but I would suggest as a precaution um if you can just take a backup of your data like any word PowerPoint Excel that you deem uh very important it's always good good to keep a backup um the uninstallation process should not affect any of your files but it's always best to keep a backup of your data so you could either copy to your Google drive or your one drive um yeah so now I'm going to show you how to uninstall the old version of office that is already in your PC if you know how to do it and if you have done it already you can skip ahead in the video if not you can follow what I'm doing so step one is you just open up the start menu and type in control panel once you open control panel uh what you will have to do is if your screen doesn't look like this or if it shows you another another set of options you can just change the view by to category uh and then you can simply click on uninstall a program once you do this will list all all the programs that are installed on your PC you can scroll down till you find Microsoft Office Professional Plus so uh you will have different versions of Microsoft Office so some might have Microsoft Office Professional 2013 29 2009 or there'll be different versions most of the time it'll just be one product as you can see in this uh machine there are multiple products um I most probably for you it'll just be one product so you can just select that and you can simply click uninstall now once you do press uninstall you will get this window and you'll simply click yes now since this is a demonstration video I don't really want to uninstall it uh I'm just going to say no and then close it right so once you do press yes it'll take a bit of time so maybe 10 minutes it dep depends on your PC um so once it's completely uninstalled now we can go ahead and start a the process of installation of Office 365 education right so once done uninstallation is done we can just simply go to Google Chrome and go to Google and you can simply type in office Office 365 login so 365 days so Office 365 login and then uh just make sure that it's Microsoft Office 365 so it's office.com so you can click on Microsoft Office 365 login and this is the page that you will fall into now over here you can either uh click on this icon right here to sign into your account or you can simply click sign in this uh big blue button so so either way it's uh it's going to go to the same place so I'm just going to click the big blue button and it's going to come to the sign-in page over here I will type in my full sqv email address so that in would uh involve you typing at s.u. then click next over here you will type in your current skv password um so I'm just going to type in my current SV password and then click sign in once you do sign in um this is entirely up to you you can say yes or no um since this is just a demonstration video I'm just going to say no um so this is your Microsoft Office 365 page right so um uh over here you will just find this button install and mo you will click on it and then you will click on install Microsoft 365 apps once you click on it you're going to go to another web page which would be uh your account details um you would want to then click on install office on your personal device so you'll click on install office what it's going to do now is it's going to download a very small file um the file name is called office setup .exe so you can uh it's a very small file it's less than 10 megabytes so um you can select where you want to save it um you can keep it in the downloads or wherever and click on Save um then so this is just a starting file um it it'll it should be pretty quick to download so you can open the file and now it's going to start the in installation process now keep in mind the installation process involves downloading more stuff from the internet so depending on your internet speed and your PCS this will take a bit of time sometimes maybe 15 minutes sometimes half an hour so you just have to be patient and uh wait until it finishes right so once it's done you will be having access to the latest version of Word PowerPoint Excel and all the other uh Office 365 education apps now this is a error message that popped up uh don't worry you will not be seeing this error message if you followed the first few steps we looked at in the beginning of this video this error message is because I haven't uninstalled the old version of office that is already on my PC like I mentioned this is just a demonstration video so that's why I did not install it so yeah um you shouldn't to this problem but in case you do um please feel free to put in an itm request describing your problem and uh yeah we will try to help you as soon as
