to export a frame from the monitor in Premiere Pro go to the bottom of your monitor and click the camera icon you could also hit shift e as a shortcut if by chance you don't have this camera icon at the bottom of your window you can add it by clicking the plus sign in the bottom right and click and drag the camera icon to where you want it on the menu bar when you export a frame by default Premiere Pro will name the file in three parts this first section is the name of the sequence the next section refers to the time code at which you're pulling the frame from in other words the hour minute second and frame and the third part is the number of the still so this would be my sixth that I've exported here are the different formats you can choose and you can select your path to where you want the file saved here as well as an option to immediately import the still back into your project once exported I hit OK and that exported frame is in my project bin ready to go as well as where I saved it on my computer
