How To Draw A Cartoon Fish (for young artists)

pay us to tell her friends what we're gonna drug today yeah it's gonna be an awesome finish we're gonna keep this lesson nice and easy for a young artist just like you how old are you no you're you're six we hope you guys are gonna follow on with this you got a marker and some paper yeah you ready to start yeah to first start our fish we're gonna draw a circle and we're gonna draw it right in the middle of our paper we want to draw big and we're gonna draw we're gonna draw them like this we're gonna come around and then we're gonna come back up to the top and connect like that do you want me to help you a little bit you want to try to do it by yourself good I can't wait to see it it's gonna be awesome yes come all the way around and then connect you did it all by yourself give me five you did awesome now it's okay that they look a little different right they're not exactly the same because the most important thing is yes to have fun and to practice and to do your best right yes okay let's keep going what should we draw next hey guys yeah let's draw another circle but smaller and we're gonna drop over here in the left side so we're gonna drop and I'm gonna draw it really big I'm gonna draw like this well it's kind of small actually now inside of this let's draw another circle even smaller and it's in the top right or the left then down here in the bottom we're gonna draw another one that's even smaller yeah you could draw it right there that's a good place now we're gonna color in the big circle but leave the two smaller ones white alright now let's draw the details inside of our fish so we're gonna draw his Gill on this side we're gonna draw a big one we're gonna start up here at the top of his head and we're gonna draw a big curve that comes all the way down like that it's that cool so we're gonna start up here and we're gonna draw big sideways curve that comes down and connects down here to the bottom yeah and then curve down to the bottom or like yours yours is awesome next we're gonna draw his scales on his body and we're gonna draw a little sideways use and they're connected to each other watch this a little you look how they're connected and we're just gonna go down like that we're not gonna go all the way to the top or the bottom yes good job perfect and then we're gonna draw another one and I'm gonna draw this one a little smaller see how it's shorter and then I'm gonna do one more right here that's even just to finish drawing our fish not not really we need to draw his lips and we need to draw his tail and also his fins okay so we're gonna first start let's draw his lips over here we're gonna draw a sideways or a backwards three we're gonna draw it like this watch this oops Boop his lips yeah it looks like he's kissing oh I like where you drawn him you're drawing him up by his face up by his eye all right now let's draw his top fin and we're gonna draw we're gonna draw a shape that starts right here a shirt fish yeah shirt fish shark fin we're gonna come up and then we're gonna curve back down it looks like an upside-down u yes and then back down good all right now let's draw his fins down here we're gonna draw a little one and it's gonna look like a raindrop color yeah I got it looks like a puffer fish we're gonna drop a fin that comes down and then back up look at that looks like a raindrop shape so let's start right here and you can draw it raindrop shape then curve around and then back well it's a big thing I like it now we're gonna draw another one right next to it watch this this is gonna be even smaller and it's almost like a backwards J and then it connects in and we only drew a part of it because it's behind this one and he looks 3d now he's got two fins yeah he's got two little fins flapping in the in the water all right now let's draw his tail back here we're gonna draw one line that comes out and then another line that comes down thank you yeah and then we'll connect them again with a curve yeah we're gonna do draw one that comes up and then one that oops sorry I drew a line and I meant to draw a dot we're gonna draw a line that connects to that dot yep connect and then connect to the top good job now we're going to connect with a curve and it's gonna come all the way around and connect to the bottom you did it man we did it will you draw one last fin right down here on the bottom and we're gonna come out and then curve back in it's that cool yeah so start yep small one right there yeah and then back in he's got that little fin on his belly okay we finished drawing our fish our fishes our fish and you did awesome exactly still need to do one last thing what is it yeah they're gonna look so much better once we color our fish and now this part we are gonna fast forward but you guys at home can pause the video to match the same color or to use your imagination to color your fish any way you want you ready too fast for ya all right let's do it [Music] Austin we finished coloring your finished car and you did awesome I love that you picked blue and we picked three different blues to color yours and I did three different greens we did a light blue medium blue and a dark blue and I did a light green medium green and a dark green super dark green we hope you had a lot of fun following along with us and join your fish right yeah yeah we'll see you
