hey friends today we're going to show a dolphin yeah we're going to draw a super cute one we hope you're going to follow along right you got your marker yeah all right where is it you ready to start yeah oh hang on to that marker really tight okay now the first step we're going to do is we're going to draw our dolphin's eye we're going to draw it right here we're going to draw a circle we're going to draw it kind of big so we draw a cartoon dolphin right here yes okay yeah there you go good and then in the top right of the eye let's draw another circle and then on the bottom left let's draw a smaller circle these are our favorite cartoon eyes then we're going to color the big circle but leave those two little circles white next we're gonna draw the top of our dolphin we're gonna start right next to his eye and we're gonna draw because they have four heads so we're gonna draw a curve like this but then it's gonna come down further we're going to draw them jumping out of the water they have four heads yeah four heads like forehead that's a forehead oh i think i said four four heads no okay so start you can start right here and then draw a forehead right here and then a curve down four heads dolphins have four heads like what foreheads let's draw let's draw his tail a little longer let's draw it down here and extend it a little further and then let's draw their nose so we're going to draw a sideways u shape you could actually draw the forehead a little further down the forehead four heads and then draw the nose coming out so sideways u shape good i like it okay now we're gonna draw we're gonna draw the bottom of his body so it's gonna curve down but we're gonna stop we're not gonna go all the way down so we'll start right here and stop right about there halfway okay yeah then we're gonna draw his fence we could draw a curve that comes out yes and then right at the bottom we're gonna curve back and go up there's his little flipper [Music] good now let's draw a second flipper so he looks 3d okay we're going to draw another curve that matches that first one we drew right next to it yes and then we're gonna repeat the same step that we did at the bottom good job i like it your dolphin looks really cute right oh no he turned it into a girl dolphin okay let's finish her tail and then we're gonna so see the belly line right here it's coming off the nose it goes under the flipper and then we're gonna imagine it going behind the flipper and coming out so we want to make sure that it's lined up and we're going to come back here and almost touch so if we imagine it going behind the flipper we'd start right about there we'll come down to here okay yeah now let's draw her little tail so we're going to draw one curve that comes out to the side good and then let's draw a smaller curve on the left it's a little a smaller curve over here now we're going to draw the bottom of her tail so let's put a little dot up here right if we were to imagine these two lines coming together so if they came together right here put a little dot right there now let's draw an s line we're going to curve one way and then back the other way so curve down and then back up yes that's cute and then we're going to do the same thing on the other side we'll draw an s that comes down back up and then connects what is that cool looks like a little fin huh her back tail so we'll start right here curve down back up and then connect and back up okay we're almost done with our dolphin what should we draw next the back fit the back fin yeah let's draw a fin it's going to come up it's going to be a lot like her side fins we're going to draw a curve that comes out of her back yes and then it's going to curve back down into her body yeah and then what else do they have on the top of their head blowhole and then what do dolphins always look like they're doing smiling should we make her smile yeah okay we're gonna draw a little smile coming off her mouth hadley we finished our dolphin you did such a good job did you have fun yeah okay let's put our markers off to the side and what should we do next color yeah she's gonna look way cuter once we color all right we're we're gonna fast forward this part but you guys at home can pause the video at the very end to match the same color ready fast forward yeah let's do it right now [Music] all right we finished coloring our dolphins you did a great job hats i love how your dolphin turned out you even added a little shading on her belly now we just used one color we use this light aqua and we use prismacolor colored pencils but you really could use anything you could use oil pastels or crayons you don't even have to color your dolphin aqua you could color it what what could you color your dolphin pink and purple pink and purple yeah that would look like a really cool dolphin we hope you had fun drawing your dolphins remember it's okay if they don't look exactly like our drawings right because what's the most important thing to have food yes to have fun and we say that every time because we mean it right yeah yeah we'll see you later our friends goodbye [Music] [Music]
