how to download League of Legends on a PC or laptop for free welcome to another gauging gadgets Windows tutorial video in this video I'm going to show you how to download and install League of Legends on your computer for free so if you're trying to play League of Legends by the end of this tutorial you'll have it installed right so to get started the first thing we need to do is open up a browser on our computer and navigate to League of legends.com check the description below because I have a direct link there League of legends.com is the official website of League of Legends and it's where we can legally download League of Legends for free so once we're here simply select play for free once we select play for free we just need to enter our email address to register with League of Legends now if you're already registered just select click to download and then you can download it once you put your email in select start and then you'll need to enter your date of birth and then hit next now all we need to do is come up with a username and then give our username a password so that we can log into our account and then select next once you're done creating your account all we need to do is Select download for Windows then just save the League of Legends installer to your computer once the installer is done downloading it's most likely going to be in the downloads folder on your computer so you just want to go there and open up the League of Legends installer and then the installer will open up where all we need to do is Select install and it's 11.5 gigabytes so just keep that in mind if you're prompted to install the riot client that is the company that owns League of Legends so you'll need to do that to in order to install League of Legends once the riot client opens up go ahead and log into your account that you just created and then you'll need to agree to some terms and service so go ahead and read through that and then select accept if you accept as you can see while you're doing all this it's downloading and installing League of Legends so you can check the status down here in the bottom left if you select the little menu button up here it'll bring you to your games where then you can see that League of Legends is currently updating and being installed so now we just need to wait for it to download and install to our computer once it's done installing all you need to do is go back to the right names client select the little menu button up here and then you'll see League of Legends under games and it will no longer show installing so all we need to do now is simply select it and then we can select play in the bottom left it'll then start opening up League of Legends on our computer the first time you open up League of Legends you'll need to finish installing the game client then once the game is fully installed you'll be able to enter the name that you want to go by in the game so just go ahead and add that and then select start now then you just need to select the game mode that you want to play and like it says above you can always play any game mode this is just what you're going to choose right now so I'll go ahead and just play the summoner's rift then you'll go through some tutorials and then you'll be able to start playing League of Legends on your PC all right so that's how you download and install League of Legends on a PC or laptop if you have any questions about this leave a comment below I'll get back to you as soon as I can if you'd like to see more windows tips and tutorials check the links in the description if this video helped you give it a thumbs up and please consider subscribing to my channel gauging gadgets for more Gadget reviews and Tech tutorials thank you so much for watching
