[Music] [Music] hello everyone it's siege today i'm going to be showing you a brand new updated tutorial on how to stream custom clothing that you've just created to 5m so the first thing you're going to need to do is download a tool called open id or open for whatever you're going to call it it doesn't really matter to be honest um so you're gonna go to openiv.com which i've linked in the description and you click download now if you need help with the installation process under the open iv link in the description i will also link a tutorial that can uh help you figure out how to do that um but once you have it installed you're going to go ahead and open it and we're going to select grand theft auto view for windows let that load it'll take a second all right so you're going to need to first thing go to your mid gtv directory copy the x64 update and then all these common.rpf and all these x64 rpfs as well now i actually need to copy in the common.rpf because i forgot to do that just because i've copied it in multiple times because i keep modifying things and realizing wait i actually need the original file for that so if you give me two seconds on my other screen here i'm just gonna copy through so this is how you do it basically steam apps common grade left out of v and we need to grab the all these rpfs but i just need to get the x64 um i must be high i literally can't find oh there it is copy mods just there we go pretty simple um all right so now you're in open iv and you're gonna go to a website uh called toby.space um and personally i've already found the one that i want to use for today's video so it's jbib underscores user seven and it's this one right here no dlc no nothing so it's jb underscore zero seven so we're gonna copy this name and we're gonna go to the search box in the top right of openhead viewer we can hit control f and we're gonna paste that in and when it says that there are no items matching your search click search jbib underscore 007 in all archives and i have it set to search and mods folder only because that's what i want now for this specific thing you're not going to want any more than any of the ones that are from dlc so we're just going to go to the bottom and you'll see mpm free mode 0 1 right here it's basically the fourth from the bottom and this is just in the regular stream pads mp so we're going to double click on that it's going to pull up this and if you actually double click on it you can make sure that it's right one and it looks to be the right one but hey we'll just cross check it with uh tobias space right here so you see it's uh looks like that and this one looks like that so it is in fact the correct one so we found the one we want to use so you can close off this now you see the ydd you're going to drag this out and now in the same archive which happens to be x64v inside of the streampad's mp we're going to scroll down until you see a bunch of ydds now you're going to see bird diff you're going to see feet dip you're going to see a bunch but if you scroll down for just a little bit more you'll see jb diff so you're going to scroll down until you see j bib diff 07 a uni i went past it so it is right here jbibdiff007a and if you want to confirm just open it up all right and now at this point you're going to want to make a folder on your desktop we're going to do new folder i'm going to call this sweat shirt because that's what this is so you have that photo there now and you see the ytd we're just going to drag that out onto our desktop as well alright so now we're going to go back to the main mods folder and you can make a folder in here called clothing like i did or not now what you want to do is enable edit mode in the top right so click yes when it asks you dragging the ydd in the ytd and now you're going to want to pull up the y2d as you keep opening like that and you're going to click on this texture if it's not already selected it should look like this okay export selected i'm an expert as a png but if you have photoshop you can do use as dds or jpeg it doesn't really matter so we're going to put it in desktop sweatshirt so click save and close off this we can close off the search for sure and you can also minimize open iv now we're going to go to the sweatshirt oh look out that's not what i was trying to do now it's too big there we go all right so you want to pull up the uh little jpeg file or png and you're gonna right click on it and hit open with and then whatever photo editor using so today i'm going to be using photoshop so i'm going to minimize this photoshop will take a second to load as it usually does if we give it two seconds here all right so you see first of all if you click out of the layer that you're on you'll see that it's 5 12 by 5 12. now in game this will look fine if you're not looking very closely but i would like it to look more than fine so we're going to make it 1024 by 1024 just to make it look a little better all right so with that obviously you're going to have to resize the this as well drive that to the corner put that right there make sure it's centered out and all and there we are all right so then you're going to create a new layer uh you can leave it as layer 2 but i might call it color just for organization purposes if you wanted to come back and re-modify this at all so we're going to call it color you're going to pull up your fill tool and make it black or whatever background color you want the main shirt to be the whole thing so you're going to fill and you're going to hide the layer just so you can actually add the rest of stuff so we're going to be adding a splatter effect just because that's something that a lot of people don't know how to do and it's also very simple all right so you want to pull up your brush tool we're going to select the red color real quick do that twice see where i have the brush out but i'll show you how to get the brush so you're going to go right here where it says brush settings you're going to go over to brushes and you're going to see the general brushes folder and then if you scroll down a little bit if it's open you'll see special effects brushes we're going to go for the third kyle's splatter brushes so the third one is right here and now what you can do is you can click out of here click on the brush again just to make sure 100 worked and now you can start uh here you'll be able to add this sort of spotter looking effect it looks like paint spot or maybe blood if it's red um so we're just going to go through and just add this all over the thing not a very hard process honestly it's just a matter of you know going through and doing this a little bit i'm trying to keep it off of this area and here just because it doesn't need to be there but again you can always erase it so it shouldn't be too hard i am just going to go everywhere and then erase what i need to because that is okay and as you do more of this you can get more advanced maybe add some text which is again pretty simple like this but you know we're just going to be doing the basic thing today all right so uh now that you've got well actually let's just go around on the shoulders here make sure it's all uh there but if you actually i'm not you don't have to do this but i'm just gonna sort of explain how this template works all right so if you notice here you see this sort of looks like the the pocket right because that is the side of the sweatshirt one of the sort of front sides this is open at the front so it's not going to be closed uh you can see this is the hood right here and these two are the arms they're a little bit really templated but you can sort of imagine that it goes down one way or the other and then these two things right here are the text of the textures for the uh the little strings on the hoodie it's a hoodie so and i can re-enable your layer if you want to if you did disable it um but i'm actually just gonna go through one more time and make sure that i got all these little spots because i can see that i did not get all of them i'm gonna add a little bit more back here maybe it doesn't have to be totally consistent that's the advantage to doing something like this because it doesn't have to look perfect um but now we're gonna go through with the eraser tool and go to all the spots that we uh added paint splatter that we don't want to like right here i don't want it personally just because it'll look weird if there's an issue with something um here i'm gonna erase it as well even though you don't need to anywhere where the white is fully white in the background um you don't need to erase it just because that is the where where the template is not pulling from i'm gonna get here too just because again there's no reason to have it there clear off that um and other than that i think we're good to go on that front um so now uh you can leave it like this and this will still have all the texture like you know it'll have the pockets and all um but we're just gonna enable the color layer you'll see it actually looks kind of cool but now we're going to save this as a psd file just in case you wanted to go back and edit it at a later date now we're also going to export it so you can go to file and we need to go down to export click export as you're going to want to do a png um but i guess you could do it as a jpg i wouldn't recommend either the other two options there um so we're going to use a png 1024x24 and you can just hit export now inside the sweatshirt folder that you've made we're going to desktop it's in sweatshirt click here on the one that you already exported and originally and click save and then when it asks you if you want to replace it click yes all right so there you go saying minimize photoshop whatever your photo editor is and if you go to sweatshirt and you open this image you'll see that it has been replaced with your uh texture which you just made all right so minimize this we're going to open open iv back up now you're going to see these two still look the same because you haven't replaced it yet so now you're going to open up the ytd you're going to click on the single texture that's in here you're going to click replace in the top right make sure you have edit mode on if that's not showing up just click right here but you've already enabled that hopefully so now you just click replace and you're going to go to desktop sweatshirt click on that texture click open and you see it gets a little bigger just because we double the resolution click save and now if you open up the ydd you'll see that it has been replaced and that you now have your texture so now comes the fun part now we're going to stream it to our 5m server all right so first thing that you're going to need to do is pull up my website which is not siege.wtf once you're here you're going to go to the docs page and it'll be uh enough studio docs.html and now you're going to see uh downloads right here and it says here's a 5m resource template for map clothing click on the download button right here and say this your downloads it's called resourcetemple.rar click save and open it up in some form of uh zip archive system i'm going to use winrar but you're going to see inside there's a folder called resource name now what you're going to want to do is pull up that uh that folder that you just made on your desktop called sweatshirt and inside if you're going to drag in this resource name now we're going to call this sweatshirt i know it'll look a little weird having a sweatshirt folder inside of a sweatshirt folder because then the path is that but inside of here you'll see there's something called a stream folder which is basically uh what you're going to stream to the game and then the fx manifest let me explain what this does basically this says hey this is made for 5m and not red m and then fx underscore version basically says hey use this version because there have been a couple updates if you want to know the difference between those it's on the 5mp docs but inside the stream folder we're going to put a couple things so if you open up open iv again you're going to grab this jbib diff 007 a uni dot y2d you can drag it down here or just right into the folder but either way it will be in the inside of the stream folder inside of your so you see your desktop then you have sweatshirt and then you have sweatshirt and stream so in here the next thing you're going to need to do is open up toby.space and find the one that you chose so this is uh npm free mode zero one j bible seven no dlc no nothing so you're gonna copy where it says mpm free mode zero one and then you're gonna edit the file name which is uh i'm using f2 but you can also right click and hit rename go back to the beginning and paste in mpo npm three mode zero one and then you're gonna add a little carrot this is very important a little carrot is shifted six if you wanna do it so basically it'll say mpm free mode zero one hey this is the pad i want to stream this piece of clothing to and piece of clothing being the texture and then it says jbib diff007a uni which is basically uh hey this is the specific piece of clothing and the specific texture that i want the stream to now click enter or uh click out of it and they'll save that file as the correct name so you go into the main sweatshirt folder copy the sweatshirt folder or you can drag it so we're gonna click copy go to our server resources i have it in server data resources eup and we're going to paste this right in here by clicking control v or by click right click again and click paste so now what you're going to want to do is copy this folder name right here where it says sweatshirt and now you're going to go back to your server data pull up your server.cfg i did move a couple things into the um i don't know why i have all this oh it's because the reason i have all this stuff down here is actually just get rid of it there's no reason to have it actually um it's because i used to have a server and i had all that stuff on there someone else bought um all right so clothing you're gonna type in sweatshirt or paste it type in i'm sure i'm going to stop this other thing just to make sure that it doesn't interfere it shouldn't because it is a totally different article but hey you never know five could be weird sometimes so you're gonna type an ensure sweatshirt or start uh ensures better just you know if you notice uh all the default um resources they use ensure so we're going to close off that and you've saved your server.cfg i'm using visual studio code to edit it but now we're going to go back and we're going to start our server with this rwt or with fxserver.exe it doesn't matter they do the same thing really um once my console comes up i'll move it because it's huge alrighty so now we can minimize this you're going to want to open up 5m so i'm going to double click on 5m move that over there just out of the way all right so you're going to load up five and in a second once it opens there we go just waiting for this all right so you're gonna connect your server mine's local hosted um oh dear oh no that's copyrighted hello oh almost had a heart attack all right so while that loads i'm just gonna tap out of my game um since that is a copyrighted song that i use for my loading screen um if you just give it one second here it will uh load me in i have a lot of other stuff loading just because i use this as a sort of testing and messing around server so once that loads i will show you your clothing and you can manually write out the fx manifest and make the stream folder but it's also just easier to download the resource template from my website um all right here we go it'll take just a second oh i'm lagging a little bit alright so as i lag into the next planet because this is all loading um hold up i'm gonna close a couple things because i really am having issues right now usually it does not do this it did not do this the last time i was recording but hey maybe today it's being weird there we go okay it's still really laggy for no reason all right so maybe we need to get out of that house yeah it's a little better all right so now if we go to our player related options i'm going to be using view menu for this but we're going to create a mail character uh we know i already have a character with this uh i mean you can create a character and scroll through and find it um but this is the sweatshirt that is uh that was just dc blood's testing clothes that's because i made some uh gang clothing earlier and i was just messing with it um to make sure i got it all right but you see right here um if you pull up the cracked one i'll tell you what number this is in the menu um clothes so it's shirt number seven and you'll see that the other textures are still there but the first one because you chose the a ycd is uh your texture so you'll see that you're wearing a sweatshirt if you actually want to make it a little closer you'll see it's actually decent quality you can always upscale it more but i'm just doing it 1024 by 1024 um and if we actually go um what was it uh did i oh no okay i don't know how the bus goes started that's good yeah so you see you just retouched the dispatcher it's in your server uh you can do more of this uh you know just the searching can sometimes be a little weird make sure you're not modifying any of your base game files make sure always extracting through mods um that's just best practices to make sure you don't mess up your game but you can always verify if you know where the file is that you messed up so thank you for watching i really appreciate you coming by and uh if you want to see more videos like this please let me know in the comments if there's anything else you want me to make that's 5m related and i will see you in the next video goodbye [Music] we can make it if we try to do
