how did your mom take the news of you coming out to her hello and welcome back to my channel so today is Mother's Day so because it's Mother's Day I thought that I would ask people on Instagram to ask myself and my mom some questions from other state Q&A Robbie's currently in his ball pit playing with some balls so if you hear him screaming in the background or like just play around that's what it is should we just start with some questions sounds good yeah okay right the first question it's from Michael Martinez he says tom has quite the list of achievements which is the one you're most proud of oh I always make the mistake of saying that you're an Olympic champion yeah no it's no what should not but that's what a squat is what we try to achieve nothing well I'd risk everything wrong don't I yeah yes yeah I'm not a little bit champion yet yes but okay then the fact that you were an Olympic medalist yeah that's nice thank you okay next one is from Tyler downs he's on a dime sitting right now anyway it says it's Tom your favorite son well I always have this argument with Tom's two other brothers and I always say my favorite son is the one that's making me happy on that today so if I made you happy to stay or William made you happy or Ben nope none of yous made me happy today no when you kidded know your grandson Robbie yeah Robbie Robbie yeah you know this favorite it's my favorite you Nana's favorite haha yay Robbie and the cats they're my favorite fine oh Emily wants to FaceTime hold on I am just in the middle of filming a YouTube video I'm just in the middle of filming a YouTube video so I'll call you back in a little bit most of Robbie's now moved positions cuz he got fed up his ball pit and now he's in the high chair are you easy you always happen when you're eating onion oh man yeah anyway okay next question mr. Maggs st says when you visit tom do you cook his favorite meals or do you let him help you I actually let him come for me yeah I cooks yeah take me out for dinner and he cooked me a fish pasta dish so I mean you know my mom does help out a lot when Lance is away or if I'm away with Robbie because obviously I need to get to training and having my mom around does it Robbie you like playing with Nana eating his food oh he's throwing it everywhere great next question is from super Meg's 77 he says how is Tom when he was a baby slash teenager as a baby he was very good very very good as a teenager I would say you're a little bit stopping stroppy okay has all teenagers but not too bad I mean to be fair you went around a lot you're always away competing when dream comes sir you weren't around too much when you say stroppy what do you mean by stroppy well I know the next question is from Odelle Roberta he says describe each son in a sentence and Lance included so start with Ben Ben about Robbie oh he's just it's just gonna be a job doesn't mean he's a sturdy cuddly cute little monkey aren't you you keep on monkey Robbie next up is from Jinxy 1988 he said he said how did your mom take the news of you coming out to her so that's the question for you then more than me what do you say yeah well I know that it was when we were at barbecue and back there yeah Robbie's blowing raspberries first time you'd met Lance and I said to you that this was my boyfriend mm-hmm and you were you basically were just like okay what about grandchildren what about grandchildren that was that was one of the questions said does that mean that I'm not gonna have a great and you got Robbie blowing bubbles right ear he blowing raspberries yeah I've always wanted a family so family has been something that's so important to me so now we got a little Robbie ray he's chicken like his mother he's not choking yeah choking so basically yeah my mum was great about it she was just very happy there Myanmar's fur and now especially now with the Robbie's here with us she's even happier right yeah I'll get you some more decent hey you go there you are oh yeah right in his mouth there you go and I'm messing around there okay next question from I see Noel who says but what was your first impression of Lance I I just thought he was good fun it used to make me laugh ladies to enjoy a glass of Rose a wine it still does enjoy us so that needs to make me laugh because I wouldn't use to a man drinking they say going yeah but since then I have noticed he's not the only man I know that drinks it and that's not necessarily with gay men no not necessarily no J you straight in there like it makes guys are insane really yeah Daisy Nicole says where were you at the birth probably where you're always birth um I was in the waiting room and I saw him within ten minutes of being born so I was very lucky to have been part of that experience I had a cutter within ten minutes so I was Ella cut away no no you haven't cut away Nana yeah but you made it to the in just in time to the hospital yeah my mum's flight was delayed three hours so got there just in time and all the other flights after that were canceled as well yeah so it was very it was fate that you got there in time from Cara I'm school Deanna school X says what is the funniest story that you have about time I like to tell any story well god yeah because I have editorial approval of this so yes god I don't know if you can remember this but when you were a toddler mmm I suppose when you were back two and a half three you used to like that to have tucked into the waistband of your trousers pink brown sheets we used to have to roll your trouser legs up and if the tea towel wasn't just right on your shins you would stomp your feet and rip it out check it on the floor and cry and so I wanted to wear a skirt basically well I don't know what it was but I could put the put it back exactly how it was and then you'd be happy and I think I've got pictures of you wearing it let's get them out I used to wear a skirt you know like proper wearing a skirt next question is from Freya who says who is harder to deal with Tom Mansell Robbie uh Susie Lance I'm really kidding like so nothing really out of us three yeah Lance yeah you have this weird banter between you and it's real I go away on competitions and then I face time in and they're just having dinner with like like glasses of rose a and like just sitting there chatting and chilling and I'm like okay I get to have too much fun while I'm away but guess that's a good thing that you get along better than most for about like mothers-in-law he's just aggravates me yeah but in like a panther way not like actually aggravating you next one is rouse underscore Chris who says your mother looks so young did she have you when she was a teenager listen agree to isolating we're not a figure-eight I thought I'd say that's a compliment yeah it is really I suppose yeah no I was not a teenager well you were married at 21 and had me at 23 yeah no not quite a teenager nearly Robbie was born when I was 24 so you know similar in age how many times have I been mistaken for your sister I think people just say as a joke I don't know they were really serious Polly will it be this one of them what will it be yeah I mean why stop my sister so I mean yeah I guess I you know you you do look very young very beautiful man yeah so I can see why people mistake her for my sister final question is from add dots all dot who says why'd your favorite thing to do together I think it's when we just sit i [Music] like if we when we get the chance not very often but when we sit together now I'll be back home see let's be honest yeah you can drink but you know that's the boss I'm an athlete I don't do those things except them on the odd occasion when you know mother and son things but when we do get the nice occasional chance where you know I don't have training the next day or for a few days and we sit and we have dinner my Lancers here and my family and we do like have like a few drinks I think it's quite nice so that's that that's all your questions or a selection of them anyway because nearing Robby's bedtime so it's been a little bit of a challenge to film this video hasn't me little man you tie it are you ready for bed both time and then bed yes
