A Weekend in CHINA with Lance | Trying INTERESTING Chinese Foods | Diver of the Year | Tom Daley

hi guys welcome back to my channel this weekend I am going all the way over to Sonya China for a fee no dollar with Lourdes and my coach Jane we're gonna do it with trading out there and there is a little ceremony I think don't quite know what to expect but I'm just finishing up packing and then once the more packs we're gonna head to the airport and get ready for the mammoth Germany always to China we're about to land in to devise a stopover throw off the plane into by now and we have a little bit of a layover before we head to Beijing and from Beijing we've got another layer to get to Sonia so it's quite a long way to go and okay so we're in Switzerland I don't think how this look Ellie oh wait it's like a ski chalet but we should win chalet then love it just beat it up this is a so stupid [Music] [Music] any day [Music] whoa look at this stop my goodness even out beaming out I mean get out I am so tired after that journey and I slept like a baby the whole night and now we're gonna go get some breakfast but look how puffy my faces are sleeping right now we're going to me in there okay slowly starting to wake up but breakfast was interesting it looks like the breakfast lunch and dinner is all going to be quite similar that's pretty normal but now we're going to go to check out the gym and start training but Jane is gonna meet me at the gym and we're gonna do a little workout lots to come along too but it doesn't look all that impressed gonna go to the gym Phoebe found Lance hello [Music] so we managed to find a gym and I'm extremely sweaty now but personal highlight of the whole workout was rule number six please take care not to over exercise quite interesting we are approaching the end of the two kilometer walk it's been tiring it's been tired but cool a bit of creaminess oh we made it back home and dry but oh we got some hot towels coming public phone how is it hello is it good good good lovely so he completes the walk 2,000 meters or two kilometers and it was all to raise money to give workers in China some insurance so that was all good and now it's time to go and do a rehearsal I believe for the garlotte tomorrow so we're now in the convention center at the hotel which is where the Garland's going to take place and as you can see behind us that is the stage this is where everyone's gonna be sitting I'm not entirely sure what on earth gonna be happening but I'm sure I'm about to find out and I think next door is where we're gonna be having dinner although it's very fancy so the rehearsal wasn't actually all that rehearsal E but now we are heading down to the welcome dinner just get my jacket on as you can see got a little bit of a turtleneck and blue suit going on and Lance has got very nice light blue suit with a little sure cute looks right I'm gonna head down [Music] [Music] [Music] my husband is like coffee every bed but this morning has been a bit of a whirlwind and it started off with a nice little workout and now we just finished breakfast and we're off to explore Sonya a little bit arm up how happy are you love in China landed is an item it's like everywhere we go now with that it's good really enjoying China we've had a little tour guide and he suggested that we go and look around the pole which is how you purl so who knows what this is gonna be it turns out how you purl is actually a purl shop so Oh Paola successful shopping trip getting some pepper a little of her little elves can't speak but now apparently we're gonna go see one of the most world-famous large yellow pairs well that's what Google Translate said well not Google Translate is you can't have Google here but like translate so we will soon see what we're gonna go and so it turns out the pair thing was like the wood from the tree and there are some interesting things and all different things carved together including some interesting shapes like this so the final little bit of our exploring Sunya trip takes us to the beach never been to the beach in China before but first time for everything [Music] your your husband's winning athlete of the year you think you at least go get it at least there get a haircut today well we are all seated and booted and ready to go to the FINA Karla I've got a par we've didn't press a button so now we're going on great anyway we're gonna head over to the garland now and [Music] thank you [Music] so we just got back to the hotel room after having gone to the FINA gala and what an interesting experience that was I managed to come away with [Music] [Applause] the best male diver of the Year award which is pretty cool this thing is having me ha there's lots of interesting Chinese dances [Music] but yeah it was nice to be here in Sonya now it's time to head to bed and get
