blood and fill within me the power of your holy spirit help me to teach everything that was prepared make it a blessing to the hearers most of all glorify your name and make it of truth in jesus name we pray amen amen all right apologies for the little weight i lost my page numbers so i had to go back go to revelation chapter 2 revelation chapter 2. remember now that we're at the time of pergamus we're at the time of pergamus pergamos is the spiritual church age that goes from somewhere between 300 to 350 all the way to 500 a.d so 300 to 500 a.d we've heard about so much of satan's system and his darkness spreading with his pagan eastern religious and roman catholic religions that is spreading worldwide now we have to go back to the christian church what are they doing that time now remember the sign of the christians i've taught you in our history class there are nine pointers there are nine pointers that is very important to understand how you can find a group of believers there was so much wrong doctrine that time remember so you have to figure out who's the right believers church historians usually go to roman they always go to the roman state official church but as we've seen that's the birth of the monster the roman catholic church a christian is not part of the world that is one of the nine tenets of discovering the real christian during that time there were baptists all the way to the early centuries and the reason why that they're a baptist is that they believed that you had to baptize these people again because when they were part of this roman hellish church system they weren't really saved their baptism their infant baptism doesn't count so that was a clear sign how you can tell that this believer was not part of the roman catholic church and hence is the right believer believers who are not part of the state church system the roman church system hence you can see that this is excuse me this qualifies as the right christian church because they are not part of the world tendency is poor ragged street preachers so to speak laymen preachers going around spreading the gospel that's your tenant of those mark the two tenets of the right christian church that time remember is that they were gospel evangelistic spreading and they were not part of the higher education system the church that was part of the higher education system and a state church type of power we you can mark that down that's a heretic church that is not the true church not the true church and i don't care what church historians say now revelation chapter 2 as i've talked a little bit about it in that chapter it's when the church starts is in the seat of satan at verse 13. now satan's seat you know where that is that is rome the apostle john during his time period when he's writing about people getting martyred why it's pretty obvious then this where were the martyrs slain during that time period when john was writing that that was at rome so this fits perfectly that this was satan's seat is known to be rome but john is writing prophetically remember revelation is a book of prophecy so the spiritual application is as supplying to the church age of pergamos from 300 to 500 a.d that time they've tolerated the doctrines of state at verse 14 which is balak state power and religious false prophet wrong doctrine bala verse 14 perfect matching of the ugly roman catholic church so let's shoot back to the past and then see what's going on with the roman catholic ugly church system now remember the barbaric tribes they've been spreading the roman empire is crumbling and falling apart and then satan is spreading his eastern religions and his paganism through the british isles through the orient as well as the americas going back to the roman empire remember that it split into two parts and then constantine was the one who started constantinople which is in the eastern roman empire the eastern roman empire was doing a lot better compared to the western roman empire but the roman catholic church system was primarily from the western roman empire area so let's concentrate over there but we got to go back to the original of originals which is constantine this book that i'm reading is man and his history which i read to you a last discipleship class so let me read some things about constantine remember he ended the persecution of the christians combined his state power with the christian churches but here's a problem the christian churches or the so-called christian churches that time which is infiltrated by alexandrian and church father ideology remember these are the two cores that destroy the christian church they wanted constantine to help him out so constantine interfered and dabbled with church affairs ah that's where you get stayed in church combined that's where you don't want it but that's how the roman catholic church reared its ugly head because these dumb bishops and all these church fathers who helped them out that time and all the churches they were debating about heresies that were infiltrating that time some of them was definitely heresy which we've studied in our last discipleship class and previous discipleship classes ago remember there was gnosticism arianism and other heresies that were forming that time there were other forming that time besides the roman church ugly system so there are these weird cultic groups and roman catholic group so the roman catholic want to maintain the unity of the church so they were trying to stamp out heresies the big one was arianism now they do not believe that jesus is god it's the same idea like the jehovah witnesses that jesus is a lesser version of god but the aryan harris heresy was really really bad a few years after the edict of milan so remember the edict of milan as i've read to you last discipleship was important where basically the christians gained their rights and their properties from constantine a controversy broke out which gravely disturbed the church's newfound peace this controversy resulted from the teachings of arius a priest of alexandria well that's a no-brainer alexandra gives birth to a bunch of creeps a bunch of heresies arius denied the divinity of christ he taught instead that christ was the highest and most perfect of all god's creatures this teaching which is called arianism gained many supporters especially in the greek east so this is now found on page 148. many catholics of course defended christ's divinity and quickly branded arianism a heresy a denial of one or more of the church's doctrines they upheld the church's traditional teaching that christ is uncreated and is truly god equal to in every way to god the fault the controversy over arianism became so violent in the east that it sometimes led to bloody riots between aryans and catholics council of nicaea is so important and i read a little bit to you from that the council of nicaea and i see aea which constantine helped out where all these bishops gathered together their church leaders gathered together at 3 25 a.d the emperor constantine was very disturbed to see the church torn by arianism he invited the bishops of the world to meet at nicaea not far from constantinople and to make a pronouncement on the subject of christ's divinity some 318 bishops most of whom were greeks answered the invitation the bishop of rome pope sylvester the first sent two representatives at nicaea the bishops overwhelmingly condemned arianism they drew up a creed called the nicene creed which stated emphatically that christ is truly god so some of you may have heard that in your basic catholic classes the nicene creed that is very important to the catholic church system because it came from one of the most important councils but you got to realize this this council was the one responsible for opening doors where bible believers were persecuted by the roman catholic inquisition years later because now they got state power combining here so they so if the person disagreed with their catholic teaching what did they do with the people who disagreed with them they enforced state power upon them see constantine oh he stopped persecution he started something else that was worse than pagan rome after the council constantine banished those bishops and priests who still professed aryan views see that the council of nicaea was the first ecumenical or general counsel in the history of the church it is called ecumenical worldwide because it spoke for the entire church well if that's the case no wonder christians deny the ecumenical movement so ecumenical movement is of the devil as you might have seen now this is funny arianism though condemned was by no means dead many bishops priests and layman continued to hold aryan views either secretly or openly even constantine himself under the influence of the bishop of constantinople who was secretly an aryan became sympathetic to arianism and began persecuting catholics before he could carry his persecution very far however he died at 337 and the empire was divided into three parts ruled by his three sons oh so much for stop stamping out persecution you just start a new one what a dummy see this guy ain't some hero this guy ain't some hero and i'm reading from a catholic university textbook in 351 constantius who had been emperor of the east became sole ruler of the empire he was a thoroughgoing aryan who tried to force aryanism on the entire catholic people his chief targets were of course the bishops who were the official teachers of the church now remember during the time of paul there's no such term as pastor pastor we later came out till today which means a shepherd of the sheep so that term pastor which is shepherd of the flock that is accurate so that's why we call ourselves pastor but during paul's time it was actually called bishop so which is first timothy chapter 3. now you notice that these bishops they've been infiltrated by these two demonic parties and now they're combining with pagan rome here you got three ugly monsters that just produced one of the worst worst things that ever popped out into history then you compare that with the barbaric paganism remember those barbaric tribes and then give it years later and see what happens keep reading here by threats of torture imprisonment and banishment constantius forced many bishops to sign documents that could be given an aryan interpretation those who refused to sign were removed from their dioceses and new bishops sympathetic to arianism were put in their place seen from a purely human viewpoint the church seemed very near to becoming aryan years later saint jerome referring to the troubles of constantius ring wrote the whole world grown to find itself aryan after constantius's death the church found peace again for without imperial support arianism quickly lost ground in 381 the council of constantinople the second ecumenical council oh now they have to have another council so what do you know about councils in the bible get away man get away let's keep reading uh let me move this way now you can see the word the sec the council constantinople condemned arianism again and reissued the nicene creed as it is found in the mass today the issued creed states in very detailed and precise terms the divinity of jesus christ and his equality with the father after the council of constantinople arianism faded away it lingered however until the 7th century among listen now certain germanic tribes that had been converted to christianity by aryan missionaries the barbarians why because it was prevalent toward the eastern area if i read that correctly so the barbaric tribes were spread out if the roman people pretty much rejected it then the pagan tribes the barbaric tribes who combined with the roman empire that time they would be more accepting toward it so this has gotten so bad that basically the roman western church empire they considered basically the barbaric tribes and all those barbarians or germanic tribes they just easily dubbed it aryan aryan aryan to everybody so it became such a very loose term it's like a loose term where people will call you kjv onliest or a heretic you know that word is so loosely used and then they call you something when you're not they call you rachmanite when some of you never even heard of ruckman before in a day in your life you believe the king james bible was perfect before you even heard of rockman they just gave you they just helped you out to know ruckman so thank you so much but the thing is see that's those labels is something from a catholic viewpoint remember that right labels are something that the catholic church has always done labels are something that the stupid news media does labels are always things that scare the people remember that that is a satanic sign is that labeling stuff so the throughout church history if you read page 151 to uh 154 of the same textbook at man in his history it mentions about other heresies that they were debating in the church so because there was so much heresy spreading out but see these heresies that were from these weird cultic groups they they immediately associated the bible believers here who are still standing strong laymen not part of the state system they easily associated these guys with these weird cultic groups they'll easily dub aryan to somebody or they'll easily dub heretic to one of these people so that's how they get rid of your history where church historians get scared of these labels and they'll say oh because they see the word heretic there during the 300 to 500 or aryan there they automatically get scared and they think that this guy is not part of the true church well then where's the true church then certainly not these guys man these guys are worse than the aryans these are the guys who tortured people for centuries man so battling these quote-unquote heresies and some of them were but so mingled with some of the bible believers that time here are the great doctors of the church that defended the faith so let's go to constantine's butt kisser eusebius this guy was a butt kisser of constantine i mean you talk about donald trump worshiper or whatever all right that was eusebius he was the typical religious religious preacher or teacher that time that defended his political leader to the death and overlooked any flaws he has now um let's read some of the parts here about constantine so eusebius in his work ecclesiastical history on the life of constantine just reading it you can tell that he was just a constantine worshiper this is found at dr utman's church history book which i recommend the history of the new testament church volume one and i'm reading on page let's see a good place to start will be 140 149 uh 148 excuse me 148. it reads the following the last hours of constantine are described by eusebius naturally the church historian is prejudiced in his writing to the place of delirium for constantine had done him in an eternal favor by asking him to prepare 50 copies of and right here african bible because it was in africa egypt so eusebius goes right here where they were producing corrupt texts remember origin producing his corrupt texts eusebius and his friend pam phyllis went back to north africa immediately eusebius was the bishop of caesarea and lay their hands on origen zigzapla ahaha going back to origin and as nasv of the new testament 5 800 changes from the received text of antioch copying the fifth column out of that critical and destructive work they sent it to connie what he meant by connie was constantine dr the way he writes is just so fun when you read his church history book they sent it to connie with the apocrypha in it as part of the old testament to this day origen's bible remains as the official catholic bible of roman catholicism in the 20th century it was published as the american standard version the new american standard version and the new international version uh let's skip this with such an honor bestowed upon him page 149 eusebius had to award kudos and kisses in his biographical work about constantine so he showered bouquets and bon bons until the life of constantine looked like a pyrography of god a sample will suffice to convince the reader that not all of the loonies are in the bin so this is how eusebius described constantine the blessed constantine was the only motto man who continued to reign after his death he was the only man in history whom god had so rewarded he was the only monarch who in all his deeds that had honored almighty god and christ god made clear to all who do not lack intelligence that the soul of constantine would enjoy an ageless and endless reign lack intelligence that guy lacked intelligence man man i don't know what was up inside his brain man dude man this guy was something else man that guy was something else constantine you already i already told you some of the parts of his history couple discipleships ago he was a hypocrite he went back and forth with christianity and sun god or roman paganism why because he's a he's a political leader he's a political leader so that uh because there are so many christians growing that he had to combine christians with the pagan so that he can keep his kingdom running this guy was something else now this is hilarious all right listen okay listen this is hilarious when constantine kicked the bucket the quote quote the baz and the marketplaces were closed and were end of quote and those who had lived quote amid luxury before now walk the streets in gloom end of quote the spearmen and bodyguards threw themselves on the ground tearing their garments and beating their heads while screaming at the top of their lungs people ran around the city wailing and shouting and mourning for the death of their protector and savior this disgusting and revolting scene can only be equaled in modern times by the pagan lamentations how about that man my my my what a character this guy right this guy was quite a character man and the people were incredibly stupid that time stupidity of stupids so that's your eusebius he's responsible for cr uh forming the alex uh for helping out with corrupt modern bibles and then there were several other people who followed up the big guy that you want to know famous doctor that the roman church depend upon to fight off the quote-unquote heresies is augustine augustine he's the big key if you read his book city of god it's a very intellectual work that's why john calvin just adored augustine's ideologies and then he took up the intellectual standpoint like augustine did and then the stink and stupid calvinist followed the john calvin's example of this higher education intellectual viewpoint of the scriptures that is wickedness sent from hell from hell man that i mean what men learn from history is that men never learn from history idiots at its finest now why am i speaking so hard because people don't get that man people don't get that especially intellectuals and then they try to drown you out with their intellectual babble on the world man just use a little common sense when you study history you'll see that it's a bad sign throughout the throughout every throughout every church age pretty much it was a bad sign that higher intellectual guard now this is augustine one of the principal thinkers of the state church and perhaps the most influential philosopher in the history of christianity was augustine of hippo who was born in 354 and died in 4 30. so this is widowson's work page 167 born and raised in north africa he was educated in philosophy and rhetoric and had early on followed the heresy of manny a babylonian mystic and his mannequin religion manny was essentially a gnostic who believed like modern new age adherence that mankind had been graced by a successive series of enlightened men like zoroaster plato etc of whom jesus was merely one in a progression augustine eventually rejected mannequin religion and became a roman catholic under the influence of his mother monica and the preaching of ambrosi the bishop of milan italy as a catholic he was essentially what is called a platonist or a neoplatonist he had a tremendous influence upon all future mainstream christian thinkers and was the ins ultimate inspiration for john calvin well then you know that augustine must be a really bad dude then augustine left us with many works by which to judge his philosophy of christianity but the city of god is the most brilliant of his works he more obviously than origen intermingled greek philosophy with christian dogma ah remember one of the signs of a real christian that i taught you in early discipleship how you can discover one of the signs is you don't mingle up with the higher education which includes philosophy and science falsely so-called remember paul warned you that at the early church what was augustine thinking man i think he thought he was smarter than paul probably see here with re uh page 168 with regard to augustine's views on a separation of church and state authority right we believe in separation the book from irenaeus to groceries a source book in christian political thought blah blah blah among others makes it quite clear that this church organization is perfectly correct in having its dictates implemented by the civil authority compare this in contrast with the doctrines of some anabaptist sects who were not on uh who would not only not petition the secular authority to enforce their beliefs but would not even acknowledge the authority of the civil authority with regard to anything but the prosecution of blatantly criminal behavior excuse me so we see that the anabaptist right a name where we can see where baptist eventually comes out from that these are the people that is not so bound to state and church combined as compared to some idiotic church fathers and some so-called christians who were part of the roman church system now the third idiot shall we take a look at this third idiot idiot after idiot pergamos see they were taking in the doctrine of balaam and then combining it with balak state and uh false prophets okay so dr ugman i just love his church history book i highly recommend you to buy that because i'll be uh using his book quite often uh but it's not mandatory all right this is found on page 258 of doctrine's church history book the greatest member of the alexandrian cult in his day was jerome who was commissioned by pope damasus at 382 to revise the old latin bibles being used by the bible believing assemblies remember in our previous discipleship i mentioned to you two ancient manuscripts that can compete with alexandrias that's all latin or syriac the best book to read on is davis otis fuller's book which bible and the second book is by benjamin uh wilkinson about authorized um vin authorized version vindicated so these are the two best words because they dig up uh historical sources and scholars that defended these two uh manuscripts which made up the king james bible later on existed during second century see this is long before these stupid catholics came to the scene from these church fathers who messed up the right bible now the idea was to give rome a standard bible by which she could prove that the latin receptus was from late manuscripts and showed many careless copyist errors now for some of you who don't know we call the manuscripts that the kjv eventually came from is uh receptus manuscripts we would dub it now texas receptus that name was not uh used until much later on but basically we would call it received text that's what we would dub it as it looks like my blacks went out all right so we would call it received text receptus text us receptus meaning received text so we would like to also call it the traditional text the traditional text that's what we would call it because it's not just greek manuscripts that's what texas receptus is it's not just greek manuscripts it's different languages i mean look at that latin and syria they ain't greek so that's that's why we would say receptus manuscripts or we are manuscripts similar to the receptus or we could probably even say traditional text so manuscripts in line with texas receptors we could even word it that way as well all right so clarifying that now let's go back to this idiot you know how crazy jerome is jerome is one of the great doctored up doctors of the roman catholic church they canonized him jerome partook of the monastic life highly recommended it to others and in his entire lifetime was not caught once working for a living he seemed destined from the start to an automatic subsistence provided for by the church or the monasteries or rich women with whom he consorted he called a nun named paula the mother-in-law of god paula kissed a stone in jerusalem that was supposed to have been the one the angel rolled away from christ's tomb she disfigured her face to humble herself tormented her body and wept for hours at a time to atone for her sins of laughing don't laugh that's sin brother we are to presume according to jerome that if god had a mother-in-law she would have carried on in this fashion or something like it dr rovin is such a genius church historians don't tell you this kind of stuff but dr rockman i mean he makes the the good guys that the uh that the apostate church historians talk about he makes them look like idiots he does a great job on that one that's why i highly recommend his church history book let's keep reading for several years jerome wandered around doing his work as a translator in rome alexandria palestine bethlehem etc and wound up in his latter years presiding over a monastery jerome's high point for kicks was being permitted to use the library at caesarea where he found the works of pamphyllus and origen oh no no see that's why origen's a bad dude i keep telling you that that guy is so important for anti-church history works of pamphlets in origin neatly preserved by the late bishop eusebius oh [Music] he spent all the money he had in his mad desire to purchase the works of origin who want to buy that garbage who want to buy that garbage man since jerome himself was a self-styled philosopher he took to origin like a duck takes to water after assimilating origen's critical approach to the scriptures jerome began the work of translating during his second residence at rome which is around 328-385 at the suggestion of pope damasus at first he intended only a revision of the old latin the old latin the texas receptus in latin called the italia but like his fellow cult members wescott and hort he wound up abandoning the received text of the old latin in about 3 000 places and substituted for it instead the alexandrian text of eusebius and origen alexandria i told you this is the epicenter of corruption period period period oh my my mind so this jerome is a bad dude as you might see and this guy he was responsible with the acceptance of jerome's nasv page 263 nasv because nesv pretty much follows a similar pattern with the acceptance of jerome's nesv by the church by the church the dark ages begin that's why they used his bible as the official bible so when these bible believers start to come out with the other the bibles that eventually produce the king james bible sent uh what what happened decades later centuries later the catholic church persecuted those people it was forbidden to translate to your own language we're going to see that later you're going to see that much later so then during this uh funny farm of what's going on what are the christians doing they're still there you know what they're still doing i'll tell you what they're doing they're not going through stupid pointless debates like these stupid calvinists are doing going ages and ages long discussing about doctrines of the church and combining with state power you know what they've been doing they've been doing ministering to other people isn't that what you're supposed to do telling people how to get saved isn't that what you're supposed to do and guess what the forbidden thing that they've done re-baptizing people you know why your baptism with this wicked call did not count man you weren't safe to begin with and especially in baptism you weren't even saved that time so start over make sure that your salvation is genuine and then we'll baptize you oh the cat catholics hated that they hated that to the core that was a core sign where you can tell ah these are the good guys then is that if they start re-baptizing that's why anabaptists were named as such anabaptists centuries later that we'll find out because they re-baptized that is the crucial key is uh where they were not part of the state church one and secondly they were re-baptizing then you can tell ah this group of believers are not part of this catholic cult yeah that's i said it cult catholic church is a cult it's something that's combined with roman paganism barbaric tribe paganism as well as with the alexandrian greek philosophy and the church father's ideology that is the king of cults right there if walter martin made a mistake is that he didn't put the roman catholic church as part of the kingdom of the cult's book he should have called the king of the cults catholic and made a book on that one now what happened this time i'll tell you what happened there were some uh christians who spoke out this is a good one jovinian this is page 198 of dr upton's church history book so let's see how much time i have all right a little bit of time so let's talk about some of the good guys now shall we now remember uh no one is free from wrong doctrine this time because there's already so much corruption going on and they did not have the complete word of god in their hands that time remember so it was all passed down through thy word have i hid in my heart that i might not sin against thee or are there church leaders before them remember that so we have to give a lot of these people grace just like uh preachers from centuries ago we have to give them grace so we understand that but the idea of a bible believer is a group that tries to go against this church system and tries to abide by the bible that is a typical sign of a bible believer and i already gave you the nine tenets of what establishes a bible believer as long as you go by these nine tenets and you'll find out you'll find out now jovinian sometimes jovinia was such a heretic that it took two councils to put him out of business roman milan wow so whoever this guy was did a pretty good job man had to take all the powers of two councils to put him out of business jovinian taught regeneration by the holy spirit not water amen bless god you're born again from the holy spirit not by water stinking candlelights he also taught eternal security and that all baptized believers constituted the priesthood no i'm the priest says the catholic idiot no all believers constituted the priesthood he denied the perpetual virginity of mary and said that monkery was nonsense he called the monks monkery and he said it was nonsense now i could be wrong about this but uh from what i've heard it took the two church great church doctors or no three great church doctors to combine forces to get rid of this jovinian guy it was augustine jerome and then ambrose so they had to get the three great doctors to tackle this guy there's these kind of these weaklings man he's a bunch of sobs man these bunch of wowwes they don't even i mean they couldn't live without state power they had to depend on the kingdom of satan to keep themselves going christians they just go through bloody persecution you can kill you can torture you can imprison but guess what we'll go on we went on for centuries and today is not stopping us amen vigilantes sometimes vigilantus or vigilantus around 395 was rebuking the worshipers of martyrs and relics yes okay he casted he castigated monasteries vows of celibacy and vows of poverty praise the lord man you talk about revival bless god you want any of you want to run the isles man they would call you heretics for doing that the typical church today uh the roman catholic way of orthodoxy he said to defend religion by bloodshed torture and crime is not to defend it but to pollute and profane it yeah amen they had to do it by blood see all this blood they're they're revelation 17 man a lot of martyrs to promote their religion do it through torture and blood idiots wicked people jerome considered vigilantes and jovinian to be two of the deadliest enemies the catholic faith ever had then you know oh these guys must be really good people then if jerome actually said these are the two deadliest enemies well praise the lord he could this is funny dr rothman said this he consid jerome considered them to be more heretical than origin oh don't kidding me go kid your grandmother man here's another good guy arius ad355 was of the same mind as vigilantius and jovinian and helvidius was another heretic helvidius at 380 a.d went around went around denying the perpetual virginity of mary arius assailed nunnery and prayers for the dead and he insisted that only an ordained elder was a bishop yes yes we're not just going to take bishops off the off the cuff especially if you pay a lot of money and will elect you as bishop corrupt roman catholic system which they did later on years later wicked evil people when the council of nicaea had accomplished its dirty work it had an alibi to get rid of two groups of bible believers the first of these was a group of second and third century puritans called novatians who were too trinitarian for the council that is they made too great a distinction between the persons in the godhead now ain't this funny the catholic held councils to try to defend the doctrine of the trinity and the divinity of christ and they said that oh there's a group that's more extremist than us than the trinity these guys are chokers man they held council meetings to debate about this issue and now they have this group novations that say oh they're true too trinitarian for us the second of these groups you want to know these guys was the paulianus who whose later adherents were called politians these are a very important group these guys went by paul now if you go by pauline doctrine you know you're as bible-believing as you can get man these are good guys politicians who were guilty of being semi-aryan that is they were halfway between servitus and john calvin oh grow up guys this is what you're all fussing about man uh you see this guy man you see the hair you see the madness of these people that they would shed blood and torture people over something silly like this they were also guilty of another terrible heresy these dissenters baptized all who joined their assemblies and they baptized by immersion according to the formula found in matthew chapter 28 verse 19 through 20 not acts 2 good guys i these are my crowd then no they're heretics how dare you my goodness let me read some other good guys page 201 captive soldiers carried the gospel to king chapur of persia consequently there was a persian bishop present at nicaea a bishop near amasia in pontus called asterius preach sermons which brodic says could be preached today fifty sermons are ascribed to a man named macarius he was an abbot in a convent in egypt his sermons were highly esteemed by the pietist of the 16th century here's another person i like this guy justin martyr for some of you who don't know he was a one of the famous church fathers right before justin martyr became cuckoo with his uh campbell like doctrine of regeneration by baptism here's what ruckman says at page 203 the personal worker who led justin martyr to christ had his number even before that candlelight got saved justin martyr he said to justin you are a sophist but have never tried to act one can imagine how this must have stung the young intellectual who was about to become a catholic theologian and teach baptismal regeneration you know as you see these problems these guys are sitters you see that you see this idiot here he's just sitting now just sitting down doing nothing you see these people they're active they're active going out ministering to people they're not just sitting down like dumb calvinists stuck in their basement and doing debates and think they're doing a great deed and work of the lord okay mike man man get out and do something for jesus christ dr rockman said this at page 203 personal witnessing was it was a dangerous business it cost us something not where you're protected behind your little books and behind state power the presence tells us that idol making was the largest industry in the roman empire and the most lucrative workmen who became converted had to leave it just like a christian would have to give up his job today if he were working in a distillery when he got saved the absence of a worker was noticed immediately a real christian was marked by his speech which lacked the constant and colloquial references to the gods he was also marked by his refusal to participate in heathen worship now uh last person that i'm going to read and then we'll call it a day as much as i would like to read more there's so much to read but i don't have time to read but let's talk about one good guy that came out now this guy remember one of the signs of a bible believer is taking the bible through what kind of interpretation a literalist approach john chrysostom guess what he was uh in competitive with jerome these are the two big church fathers that died john chrysostom unfortunately he has some catholic ties but he was very different from how his typical catholic peers did it and typical church fathers he was going more toward toward a bible literalist approach and that's what costed his life later on he preached sermons that was actually really like you wouldn't dare preach today i would encourage you to read some of his sermons page 263 and dr utman's book christa stone uh let's see how much time all right let's quickly wrap actually i have to wrap it up sorry all right i'll wrap it up so john chrysostom let's see okay the one these famous church fathers came out and there was one church father who stood up differently so i think this is how i spell his name i'm just going by memory but john chrysostom he's the guy where bible believers can look up to where he was basically teaching things at a typical roman catholic church or church father or alexandria egypt was not doing at that time and then we're going to find out now look at this picture here you notice that the believers we've talked a lot of them already these remnants they were going throughout history and the catholic church was forming through these idiots but the believer stood out it's the one who separated from them and it's by this arrow that led to the king james bible today and the two manuscripts they were still ongoing old latin and old syriac and then we're going to discuss the good guys that came out there from old latin we're going to talk about this group of people that was responsible these guys were something else their history while the engine history goes way back but they went by different names from the old latin they memorized scripture some of them when the catholics burned these wall dungeons alive they said you better get one waldensian guy or vadois he mentioned to the catholic tormentor you better get more fire to bird than us wall dungeons to burn why because we hid the word of god in our hearts and the word of god is going to carry on he dared them man and then old syriac remember antioch syria the birthplace of christianity here's the heresy that the catholic church was fighting that time but despite of his wrong teaching this was a good guy as well astorius which came to the historians you know where they reached all the way up to get out of the map china here they come then we'll go to the british isles those goss and those pagan uh druids they had their field day you know who the lord was using you'll file us to the gas and create the old gothic bible he used columba to the british isles where those druids were getting a hassle and then the famous st patrick's day from patrick himself celtic christianity was much different from roman christianity for some of you who didn't know let's talk about these good guys coming out right it's going to be exciting stuff all right let's see what the lord did to come back the devil's system the devil system of gothic barbarian tribes the druid culture the roman catholic culture the eastern religion god was using all these people nestorians went from uh persia india to china man and possibly even korea these guys went way out there so this is going to be cool stuff all right next discipleship unless the rapture sounds god my father i pray tonight's teachings were a blessing to the hearers and made us excited about our history excited about how you moved against the devil system made us aware of satan's devices so that we don't fall prey into his repeated pattern and plans of what he corrupted mankind throughout history in jesus name we pray amen all right
