Hermitcraft 6: SAHARA PROGRESS!

hello I I do believe we are now live on the Internet once again we are here on the home at craft server we're doing a Thursday afternoon livestream today hopefully everything is working you guys know the drill I never know if this thing's actually going to function properly I I don't know what I'm doing you know I've got a professional streamer in the slightest but we should now be live and I can see myself on YouTube okay so here we are today we are going to be doing some work on the Sahara project we're going to be working with this gal it's all going to be very very exciting and fun and we're going to hopefully get all of the modules finished with this build because I mean there's so much going on there's so many there's so many modules in that place that we thought it would be better to actually live stream it then including another episode with another time-lapse so I hope you're well I hope I hope you're doing okay I'm just reading through the chat everything seems to be thing is I stuck that's how I start all my live streams every single one starts very anxiously like I think I think we're live I think that's all part of the charm in a way is that I just I don't even know what's going on don't even start that that was my own fault I must admit yeah yeah back you know we leave the memes yeah we leave the memes where they belong in the last live stream and we have new memes per live stream okay actually you'd be surprised you know we're gonna make it a rule okay fresh memes only in the streams right fresh mean streams so that's that's yeah so we have to create new memes it means that we have to be constantly just on there on the go making yeah we have to reinvent ourselves we should miss that because now they only have said that before they're stale meme stream that's the same industry instead of busting or anything like that seem to be the stale meme stream stain industry actually it rolls off the tongue quite well I gotta say it has one of those tweaks to it yeah I think is twangs but that's fine well I'm doing is so yep fair enough anyway what how do we how are we gonna I hope you're ready for me to not build like which so we're planning on streaming for about four hours today on me I hope you're ready for me to just build one module and faff about I hope I hope you ready I'm excited for people to see it live I don't know if you paid attention to mumbles livestream ladies and gentlemen you could see that there was a little sweet running around building most of the things whereas the Mamba was mostly standing about and I thought that was hilarious because yeah I'm I'm so slow when it comes to doing anything I have this I have to allocate a certain amount of time to just faffing but I described as faffing I don't know if you you're aware of that that word in in sweet but it's just it's fatty it's known as faffing about you're just kind of you're doing not whole lot really the king of it is green today I'm faffing about yeah I mean green is the king of it because if you ever watch or spectate green play he dedicates far too much time to just jumping around his storage system I don't really understand how he gets anything done on the server I'm also I'm also the type of guy that I find myself so many times just wasting all the food items that I have because I've been jumping around in a circle for like a long time I think all Minecrafters do that yeah but I know I know what you mean I mean you are extremely I'm just kidding blast me and then you realize that we live on stream you know I was about to ask time-lapse I mean it didn't matter but normally I cut it out but it didn't matter because it was so silent because we don't talk to each other that much you know I just really don't get along thanks tat for telling me that I built this freakin thing one too long oh well that yeah that's so obvious and you know what if you had had the glowstone dude you so nicely done I've been looking over a chat but they were saying like spam is too long or that's too low and I've been thinking about your volumes I've been sitting here adjusting your bless you know I think it's quite sweet I think it depends yeah it depends how you say it if you got our bless yeah that's pretty rough yes so what you're saying is that I've actually made more progress than you know I have because I have the bottom of my belt whereas you haven't built one yet well yep yep I guess you're right yes I have and that's never been never been fun to admit yeah no you oh you are often people people have this strange idea that I'm the redstone wizard wizard in this in this in this relationship that we have here whereas the reality is that I'm just I don't know why I'm really you are the redstone wizard though because the other day for the longest time when I wouldn't a mine that I thought oh are you sure you want to share that a certain way yeah I thought I knew how comparators worked and so I went to mom was like dude you have an issue here in your which form I'm just gonna go ahead and fix it what do you mean there's no issue yeah you have this compared to wrong it should be the other way so what are you talking about and then I learned that I've been wrong for all these years yeah right there's there's a ton of redstone stuff uh uh I think this might actually be my stuff from the other day trust me dude once once we've got the first one built with fine we are absolutely fine this is not how it goes in the cutscenes in the YouTube videos though no people no people are gonna realize how much we actually chopped out of our videos when we do these things it's it's a lot yeah I don't know about you but when I when I when I edit the video yep I it's not it's not uncommon that I cut out 80% of what I say oh I mean so here's the thing like we record in different ways you record solidly don't you you you are recording at all times aren't you that's crazy yeah but I mean I know I'm actually saying that I'm cutting out where there is audio of me speaking and not just speaking to myself but being like but see the thing that would be weird is that so i recording clips i know i know exactly so when i record a video and i will think to myself okay i'm going to say something here and then i record it where is so you you do you do something different than you you record or at all times and then do you chop it out don't you am i making sense at all yeah yeah yeah so like for example if i built one of these things I would go I'm gonna record a clip now and then I would record like a 15 second clip going this is the thing here it is this is what I built and then I stopped recording and then just go back to playing in silence do you play in silence I do total silence I can't have anything but now I listen to podcast that would be the that would be the thing that would I don't I don't know how you can record because the thing is I get stressed out because I would think that I haven't covered certain things that in the video if I was if I was talking the entire time I'd forget what I've said and I'd repeat myself a bunch always see okay that's right that's funny it's funny how yeah different people have totally different styles of of making videos because oh yeah I can't I can't imagine being it I can't imagine yes I guess I guess because we're all different yeah no absolutely and I'm not saying that one way is better or anything like that either no III get myself I mean when when I do the stuff for the the filming Channel and obviously so I'm using a camera there and I'm not wired into a microphone everything like that and I kind of ramble at the camera it's I I get stressed out because I forget what I've said during the clip and then I have to start again I have to delete everything and start again just just I don't know I just really struggle with it I think it's just because I'm so used to I'm really particular with how I do things and yeah if I didn't if I didn't know that I had covered certain things it would you would just I'd lose sleep yeah I mean I tend to get yeah I know what you mean I I've felt that as well okay I get very okay I can get very anxious late as of late when I start thinking about how many times have I said this thing about this thing now and who cares right it's like I've said it five times in the video and then I realize almost what I'm done I'm like actually you'd be surprised no one's gonna care about this not even Jeff not even Jeff not even Jeff is gonna care so I realized all of my modules now I've really I've done so all of my hapa lines that I built in the previous episode instead of the hoppers going into the dispenser which totally makes sense they go into the chest that would have been that would have been a really annoying problem now that I think about it yeah so does that mean you have built zero ones yeah in total yeah but listen how fast I'm building them right so look here we go so I've already just built three while we've been talking and then here's my fourth and then this one here is my fifth I'm lightening speed man you need to catch up with me I can't believe you're slacking so much well there is that one done rebuild and um okay I'm gonna look at my I'ma be quiet with you for a second because I have so much noises in my ears dude it's crazy I don't know what that means but okay I'm just not gonna talk for a while and it's not to be rude yep okay I still love you yep it's just you have to do some housekeeping on your stream it's it's a sweet it's a Swedish couldn't see anything that was a bit strange that was really weird couldn't see anything yeah so like in the center of my video so people were really worried about me in the comment section it's not really anything too much to worry about is they're known as like I think that ocular migraines or something and I was just I was just about to get a migraine and then I started getting a blind spot but it was when you asked me if I could sleep and I I was I was I was basically blind at this point could barely see anything and you're like oh yeah I can you can you sleep when I was like yeah sure my bed was like in the middle of a field that's not lit up in the slightest so I go over to the bed I I see this kind of like slightly grainy colored thing but I'm not I'm sure it's nothing can't I can't tell what it is and then I sleep and then it was a crew for any blow up on my chests so but the funny thing is that you know I think I might be the first person in history to ever have been caught out by the California dude I I keep mocking up I just really yep yep how many of you built now though just one just one this is the second okay yeah but I'm not like the other day we were sat here all day by the way by the way I don't know so I said in my video yeah I was like yeah this is taking us all day yeah and then you said in your video this is taking us three and a half hours the amount of comments come in that time lapse was three and a half hours we would been we've been working on it all day oh yeah I should have been more clear that's hilarious though that always that stresses me out so much when I say things like if I very rarely that's so funny because I I make a conscious effort not to give actual times because there's been a couple of times in the past where I've done a time lapse and I've been like oh yeah that that that's taken me like two hours and then someone's put they they've like if I've they've counted the amount of they've they basically worked out how long a time lapse for due to the daylight schedule obviously these time lapses are cut together right so they've clearly skipped they've kind of missed a beat there but they've taken the time to work out how long the time lapse should have taken they're like you know hol actually only took one hour and 36 minutes specific times because otherwise people like that come out and start nerds exposing me yeah I mean it's happened a number of times the other thing that I've done once and it's only ever happened once is I accidently left my audio in the time lapse and it was like super sped up and then people slowed it down and found out that I was listening to the rhett and Link podcast you know okay well that's not that exciting actually I love the people take their time they're like yeah wonder wonder what he's doing and they all say what's happening and I shouted for me yeah and he sucks yeah yeah maybe try to boil the rice like he's such an idiot dude I am looking at firing him but to find a new Rupert is hard because right how many pounds people are named Rupert's alright it has to be named Rupert I see I'm sorry I just called you it I mean even I mean you were pretty mean to him there but now I feel like the bad guy for some reason well I mean how long have you had a butler and how do you even find a butler how do I find a bottler yes well I did the only right thing to someone said piece of bits on Twitch has said I started watching you mumble angry and no the learn how the experts play minecraft I've now realized after being torching everything that I would just be looking at watching three guys messing about I couldn't well that's good but it's also true it's very true yeah I said I get a lot of messages saying that you you guys are the best at playing Minecraft and you're you're really serious about it and everything like that and it's like I I don't know if they're watching the same people as well believe you just said that on my own stream sorry I asked it came out of my mouth I when I'm seeing red I mean you have no idea what what I mean trust me when we were media Brazilian Jujitsu that's gonna come into my that's gonna come into my mind as we're about to start I don't know how do you think that that Brazilian Jujitsu will go are we gonna have to film it to show the people I don't think I'd kill you I mean just to be clear I haven't done it yet either so I don't really know what what it will what it will look like but I imagine it will just be more like two and a half meters tall it is true I am and I'm like two and a half meters wide and I don't think the wideness is fujitsu maybe your handicap will have to be that you have to lay down yeah that that yeah you start off you back that that would make life the funniest thing ever but it is all grappling and everything like that I mean it's gonna be difficult I mean I I honestly have no clue dude why have you have you broken it again it's fine I think that furnace message that they opposed to just yes supposed to just blocks yeah gets boring if you don't think about the circuit I think we spoke about this the other day but like yeah yeah yeah it's just you yeah you have to say otherwise it doesn't make sense if you just think I need a repeater here and I repeat and a redstone there like if you actually stop and look at it yeah I think that's everything I mean there's definitely gonna be mistakes in these and we've got so much troubleshooting to do with this machine but couldn't be any mistakes and the ones that I made yeah the only problem is that we can't tell which ones I made and you made no no they should have been color-coded that's how we should have done the color so I should have been doing all the yellow ones and you should have been doing all the orange ones and then every single yellow one breaks and sets fire and explodes and then all the other one or all the orange ones are just I do something stupid and usually the back at the back - for always that's that's your experience on hermit craft I mean yeah it's not far off like for example I say I say it only took three hours for us to do that time-lapse and then mommy yeah I need to I need to be I need to be more clear or less clear I need to be vague that took many many moons have passed the time lapse is for now that even that's quite specific yeah it would be like actually that's true it's getting better now it's getting better yeah plays minecraft oh heck dude what planet are you living on yes yeah a lot why are you watching I never understood they always blow my mind the most it's like when people say who still watches Minecraft these days and then you've commented on my minecraft video is that well I mean I could think of one person right now really strange really really bizarre that's yeah I mean it's really funny to me as well the whole idea of my there is that there are you sometimes read comments saying oh you know this is happening maybe like such-and-such game is dying all the community's going and things like that and it's often not the case often the case is is that that person has stopped playing Mike or stop playing a game yeah and then maybe their friends have stopped playing the game and then they're like well nobody's playing the game anymore when in reality there's still like a huge community of people playing it I'm gonna shock you maybe I've said this before to my stream but I don't know if your stream has heard it yep but the a game that came out or that was very popular last year called for tonight I'm sure everybody's heard about it yep and it's it's actually you'd be surprised I'm gonna be surprised you'd be surprised to learn that despite how much success it had last year there was one game that was like it was only that it only came second on the biggest game last year in ours played a number of people playing really yeah it wasn't actually first which is really surprising like you'd think that with the amount of people talking about and playing for at night and yeah no but no it was just second which is weird well what game came first minecraft really yep that's crazy that that's still that's really impressive 90 years old I know still going strong still going strong yeah I mean every the thing is the thing is about Minecraft is that everyone knows about it like no no it used to be that I would tell people that I made Minecraft videos on YouTube and there'd be like I've never heard of that game one earth is that and then you'd show you you'd show them and then you'd get the the standard comments of like it looks like Lego and everything you've never heard you've never heard back in my days I mean yeah everyone else we are all we are all old but like ya know that was like the 100 all or if you said it to a young get younger people there'd be like well the graphics are terrible that would be their their comment yeah yeah so you get that but you know that that said nowadays it's so so well-known like everywhere everyone knows what what minecraft is and yeah it doesn't even even old people you know even the people that work say do you actually this is an interesting thing right yeah you actually tell people that you play minecraft like is that your it depends who it is I think no but like if someone has to oh hello there mumbo so what line of business are you in you know you know the situation is well you had a random party where you don't know anyone you just randomly invited a young team and this there's this guy he's been talking for the past hour about his you what you were what's your living what were you doing in life I say I say okay depends if I really don't want to explain anything I'll say I run a production company that's the easy one good one dude that's good right so that that's if I yeah if I don't if I don't feel like explaining it and I can get away with that as well because I can I can talk about filming for a long time and I can actually talk about projects that sound like production company projects it's like yeah we were just out in the Philippines filming a documentary over there then we did some stuff with some old Bentley's and everything like that feel free to steal my examples and send them to my youtube channel if you if if they start asking for examples which doesn't happen very often but it has and then there's one thing I'll get a kiss kiss bug in my filming Channel you meant to say I notice not yep but but yet either that or or I if I if I if I if I kind of don't mind explaining but I kind of want to get them out the way quickly it's like oh I'm a YouTube content creator that but that leads to a lot of questions generally but yet only only very very occasionally do I say oh I make minecraft myself to some fancy dinner so I was having us I was having a steak dinner and I was having like a chicken lunch I can't I can't exactly remember what she what the girl said but she said something along the lines of I went like when when you I can't remember was it was like she was she asked if I was cooking for someone or having like a fancy meal on those I I know this just my lunch and my yeah well I always feel it I always feel bad because you know whenever I mean there's a number of things that I always feel kind of awkward about when I'm buying ridiculous quantities of sweets I mean it's fine if I only do it once a week but when I've been into the same shop like three days in a row and bored well I will buy like three days worth like what would be a typical week's worth of sweets for an average person I will go in and I will buy like that but then I'll do it three days in a row and the first day I can make it look like I'm just buying them to fill the houses like they're like oh you stalk about the shows like yes talking about the shelves yeah it's you know filling in for the week and then the next thing that doesn't fly anymore obviously they don't see me and it's the same with ordering pizzas it's like you know I order I'll get a mega deal like a large pizza sides cookies drinks everything like that I'll come to the door I need to make it look like I'm getting it are I really like a Cabras yogurt and I go oh well remember we're trying to eat healthy and you know we're trying to try to lose weight and everything like that and this woman goes well I think she observer repeater I mean I I did think about that the only thing I mean hold on the other thing is is that's gonna also give an update when see this is the problem that's going to create a clock because that's going to give an update when it gets broken which will then fire this thing again because there's an update based system so it needs to be rising in time on a stable circuit actually what they oh that's only because oh one tick pulse let's try it out so what is it configured to do now how many stacks full stacks in theory okay so I'm just gonna put three stacks in in the box that items would have to move from that hopper on the right to the hopper on the left and it means that the player would have to wait that long to be able to order the same thing again so how many items do we I thought that we didn't need many items but that yeah four four stacks so the way that the the way that the comparator levels work is for a chest it's either for something like a shot which is the same as a choker box so a shocker box oh that's weird oh no no no it's the same thing okay don't that okay yeah so okay I was looking at double chests but is this the same kind of logic so the the the problem the problem is is that with with the way that we're doing this so a shocker box will only give a different signal strength at one item one stack in sixty items three stacks and fifty five items flat five stacks and fifty-one items right so that means that if you wanted it to be a stack this hopper clock would then have to have 64 items on the inside that would then go back and forth be Steve or it have to have like sixty two items on the inside and then the problem is is that the thing would get broken the reload would happen and the choker box would get broken but then the system would have to wait for the all 64 items to then transfer back over to this other hopper then the post extender resets and then it can reload again man this is so difficult to explain I understand the last part but I don't understand why why we need such more so much more longer delay here four more stacks well it's not more stacks it's just how it works out so like so like the reason that we only have need for items here is because just by chance the comparator signal strength changes at three stacks and fifty five items which means that this when when you pass three stacks and fifty five items we can then take a comparator output that then goes into our post extender so then you only need nine items right because all however many I need you need the difference yeah where is the problem is is that with when you're working with one stack of items the comparator signal strength changes when you put one item in the show box which means that the difference between the comparator change and the output change and the the chain the amount of items that we want is 63 items so we have to create a pulse that lasts for 63 items as the and the problem is yeah it's just we why can't we break why can't we break the hopper why can't we break the salka box immediately based on their first test why do we need their delay what do you mean the first chest so where we load the items I'm not sure what you mean I've done another thing here but the problem is we can't do a compare we can't we can't detect a change in signal strength when it gets to 64 items so say for example I mean as I said four stacks is an easy one but something like two stacks is really difficult oh no two stacks is still easy but one stack is where it becomes really difficult because you have such a long time before you get any change in in in signal strength this is I promise you this is really really easy to do it's just we're we're we're running into funny issues so I'm gonna work on this one because cool modern man minecraft is on the resurgence big-time I'm seeing a lot of people coming back to it minecraft is one of the most interesting games in the world I agree I mean that was okay are you
