John but how so what happened was we were we were just coming together and if you were gotten so far outs that the next day you you had trouble have you ever gotten that abandoned so so your ears thinking sweet lord did I really did that really happen and I was so out I was so out there in the spirit and and I grew up surfing you know that's not New York I know it was part of New York but not New York City I grew up surfing in racing motorbikes and riding Broncos and and I was also a ballerina and a cellist so I had a few things going on I skied I love surfing why did I love surfing so much I loved catching that wave there's nothing you just can't compare it and the bigger the wave the better and I started board surfing and then I realized that maybe was the dancer in me but I realized that I really really loved body surfing even more than board surfing because it was just me in the wave I didn't even have a board it was just me in the way and I I know some of you won't believe this but I I only tell true stories so his brother David we know it's true all his stories are true so I would sir I would surf body surf waves eight foot waves I mean when the chiropractor asks you know I fall on my head a few times hit the sand it's been stopped on by a horse got stoned a few times with rocks I don't think these things happened Shaka Bala but when you catch that way if there's nothing like there's nothing in the world like it you just you're there and so I was at this revival meeting where they were just celebrating what God had done for the last 20 years and I got this song put your hands in the hands of the Lord now and step right on his feet put your hands in the hands of the Lord now and step right on his feet put your hands in the hands of the Lord now and step right on his feet and I kept singing that as I was seeing the wave it was not eight foot I have never seen a wave like it it was young brave God made me really really really brave I'm so brave this wave this wave was so massive if you do not understand putting your hands in the hands of God your Abba daddy God and stepping on his feet you can't ride this wave you can't ride this wave you cannot ride this way we all say yeah oh yeah bring it on we want the wave you're nuts if you don't understand what you're doing you will wipeout I can't be I kept singing things like it's a way that's a wet it so I put your hands on the hands of the Lord now and step right on his feet and then I was riding this wave front of thousands of people and then and then I would hear wipeouts and I'd see people just because they got their eyes off of the Lord and they couldn't ride this next way and I saw it and I know it's coming why not I hear why not now why not wait but there's something you have to understand when you catch a wave like this this wave it's God's wave it's not your wave you didn't create the wave you didn't make the wave it's not your wave it's his ways it's not your waves you didn't just get a wave machine pump it up let's make this thing happen get in faster way into the way you know pray your way into the way you didn't make this wave it's a sovereign wave it's bigger than anything you've ever seen and it's his you think the last wave was scary watch out you don't even Wow watch out you don't even know what its gonna look like but what I saw was really scary and really really holy and really really powerful and it was more than I've ever seen before and and I knew that if I could just stay connected with the one who is worthy and put my feet on his feet and my hands in his hands then I would catch it and I would ride it but if I got my eyes off of him even for a second I'd wipeout [Music] how if we want to catch this wave of the spirit this that God promises us we have to position ourselves you ready there's a serpent it doesn't matter if you drop things they never know where to put a pulpit with me cuz I'm down you know I for five years in the West I never stood up why was that because I asked the Lord why could I stand up in Africa and not on the West in the West he said I don't have a trouble with control in Africa wow that's a good word so you just decided to make me a sign and I wonder he just knocked me flat he let me preach face down do you know what that's like when you don't want to look foolish I I have a PhD no joke it makes people always laugh they think that's funny like seriously that's not possible I it actually his idea yeah King's College University of London defended at Oxford huh so so I don't want to look foolish just saying and God didn't leave that up to me he didn't leave that up to me he said what do you if you prayed put me on like a glove if God's to preach like this that's how you're preaching so I'd be face down I'd ask the Lord is this necessary I'm already blunt is this necessary he wouldn't always answer me but he would just let he would put so much heavy weighty glory on me that death that there get to this place because I felt like some of you can't get here but I'm gonna try hug to lit to listen to the Holy One who is my king and Lord and explain to you my journey [Music] he's here you see Sierras just he's here he's here so so I I met him he met me I met him he'd been wooing me since the beginning and I met him when I was 16 I fell in love with the lamb I fell in love with him I just fell in love with the one who was worthy and I said take my little life just take it all have it all oh I just I just want you I don't want anything else I just want you and and a holy holy glory fell on me and I was on my knees and I was just worshiping worshiping on my knees worshipping in this little church and and God took me out of where I'm from and he put me in this little church as an American field service student and glory fell on me and and I just I just said yes Lord and he kissed my left hand and oil ran down my arm and he said here to be married to me do you know here to be married to him how late and he spoke to me as clearly as I hear my own voice right now and he said you're to be a minister and a missionary to go to Africa Asian England [Laughter] I said yes Lord my hands were in the air for three hours I never moved I never shook I never twitched after three hours the heavy weighty glory lifted up and I fell to the ground and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed and I loud what was i laughing about the fact that God could use me it struck me as very very very funny very wonderful and I laughed and I cried and I prayed in the spirit and I looked to the back of the church that there was this man the pastor we called him brother row Ark he'd gone through some things he accidentally shot his son in the eye during a hunting accident and took out his eyes and that's that's rough his son was a co pastor but he understood the glory Wow he understood when God showed up and all the other people were already gone cuz I was there three hours frozen in the glory they were already gone so he was waiting at the back and I was living on an Indian Reservation so they had to drive me back to it I was way past the curfew I remember just the joy of the Lord and I was only shaken up I started praying in the spirit I could not pray in English for three days I couldn't pray in English I couldn't speak in English I got to the dormitory they tried to ask what's what's going on and why are you late and he was just like shut up open up as chef ma glory was on me and and I heard the Lord he called me to preach the gospel I'm 16 years old I'm a woman what's he thinking a 16 year old woman I heard God preached the gospel preached minister and a missionary I've never seen a woman preach I didn't know a woman free I didn't know anything all I knew was God showed up so the next day I tried to go preach I didn't ever dream anyone ever invite me to a church I never tried to get invited to a church I just went out to the street the only problem was for three days I couldn't speak in English I never stopped but I started to get driven you know as a missionary III I got driven we were driven we were we were so just so obedient like anything God as long as it's hard we'll do absolutely anything Lord as long as its suffering no joke and we went one way taking $30 after one lunch and a wedding one lunch and a wedding we just went to Asia just cuz I heard Africa Asia in England I'm at Rawlins it's a lot older than me and at the time he was really scary serious carries fourth-generation missionary I told you my background Ivy League Bohemians we are not from the same tribe my father took one look at Roland realizing that I'm gonna marry this man after a Chinese lunch and my father looked at him and he said what do you do save souls missionary was the most pejorative term that they could imagine and I looked at my dad my mother we said no we don't save souls Jesus does you're gonna be poor he had no idea we were determined to be poor and then we were determined to be poorer than the poor and we were determined to be so poor that we would determine not to ever ever ever ever ever think about cheese because I liked it if you were really holy you would never eat that if you were really holy you would never never think about a hot bath not even think about it so I raised my two towhead blonde kiss no hot water for you no chase we're hauling Roya u-report we we heard if you'd work with the poor you live in the slum so we decided to find the worst slum and then search longer to find him or pitiful slum where we could live thank God thank God thank God thank God thank God thank God because if you don't understand the journey you don't understand how we got here if you don't get the journey you don't get that you don't get it you don't get it uh karappa I'm not sorry for any of that time put your hands in the hands of the Lord now and step right on his feet put your hands in the hands of the Lord now and step right on his feet oh holy is the lamb so I've been sharing is that a better word sharing this glorious gospel for 42 years [Applause] [Applause] created for this but you have to position yourself and you have to get ready and you have to paddle out paddle out and catch this wave some of you still you're not following you're like that's just too much too much too much give you a little bit more of the story as I yielded myself to God over and over and over I got I got into this place where I was just so desperate for whatever he wanted but I didn't know what it was and and it was like we we gave everything we still give everything everything we have everything we are everything we will be it all belongs to him but but we caught this wave of revival we caught this crazy awesome huge wave of revival 20 22 23 years ago we caught this huge wave and it's just been crashing and we've seen over a mill I don't even know millions of people come to the Lord it's just we we can't even count just millions of people coming in and and our movement went from mom-and-pop to over 70 bases around the world it just exploded and all these unreached people groups and nations and tribes and thousands of foot soldiers just going anywhere doing anything for the gospel sleeping anywhere drinking anything going anywhere just giving themselves for the gospel never even dreamed I can't you cannot imagine or dream but God has prepared for those who love Him oh so if you just love him and yield your life you don't you don't tell God oh my goodness do you know what my dream was some of you might tell right now I can't help the you know that's the way it Out's the way I stand yeah I I mean I didn't even try to do that just like what was my dream oh it's like what was my dream oh I wanted to be a ballerina nine years I studied day and night night and day day and night nine day to be a classical ballerina that was my dream and then God got me boom and the church said that's a sin you go to hell no ballet for you took my toe shoes laid him down I knew how to lay him down some of you like oh that wasn't mean Oh God uses the mean people sometimes God can use anything Oh God can use anything and anyone how they were little challenging they didn't understand my dream thank God thank God such dream for me he had a dream for me that I would have never dreamed I would have I mean I'm 58 years old what would I be doing teaching six-year-olds how to plie instead I'm dancing around the planet carrying the gospel son - son - son - son - he has a better dream for you than you have for yourself just yield yourself to God dream what's your dream what's your dream what's his dream for you I just I just like but beyond like a glove I don't even know what he's dreaming sometimes it gives me a little insight it's just Wiggles a little finger okay yes Lord other times I don't know where we're going I get to an airport where are you going just a minute I said just a minute I want to look and I'm gonna tell you sometimes they get frustrated like are you seriously that blonde I'm like just a moment I'll tell you and and I open my schedule and they get a little nervous I'm going that one you're gonna get me there I don't always understand but I do know this that when I yielded myself to God to this point where I stopped telling God what to do with my life everything shifted I stopped telling him what to do and I remember being in this place that I would go that he had me go today in front of you you know what that's like some of you think that's funny some of you think that's weird some of you think thank God it's not you some of you already left seriously it's yeah Sakha bhava you don't know you don't know that these years it's years of positioning myself and Ana and the struggle bishops coming the struggle that I have been through oh I have to tell you the struggle the struggle the first time I was stuck to the floor about three days and three nights second time lost a million dollars no joke third time seven days and seven nights some lady have you ever seen a person shoot someone in the spirit it was odd very strange this woman shot me just like BAM right now BAM cuz she shot me she didn't touch me she's just BAM no and I fell out I thought my god it's weird and I'm on the floor feels like someone really shot me and then she said you are wearing Saul's armor get rid of it said she did that that was weird too Wow this weird bunch of people and I heard God very clearly there I was stuck on the floor just like this stuck there and God said very clearly eight cheese and then he said take a hot bath and I'm on the floor thinking could God be that good could God be that good I lost it I sobbed like a baby I sobbed a sob a sob for everywhere everywhere I went for the next year or two I got given cheese and Jacuzzi tubs and no one knew my story I hadn't told it yet I'd walk into a room and I'd get all upset look there's a Jacuzzi in the living room still living two-thirds of the time in Mozambique one of the poorest nations on the planet living out in the bush bush where there is no cheese it's not like I eat it all the time I'd be big big girl no no I just eat it when it's there and it's given to me everywhere I'd go around the world I bet people would just say I feel strange you know I feel very strange but I've felt like God said give you cheese I'm like uh-huh happen everywhere around the world now you heard the story so don't bring me any cheese you know and let but uh shut up I unless you want to no no I've got no I'm going somewhere but um but then then I would other strangest thing happened I'd be staying in these rooms you know unusually yeah when you're a missionary you know motel six is really a big deal we're all in and I for years if we ever had to go somewhere with motel 6 and Rena wreck motel 6 and Rena wreck and that was exciting to us because they you know they actually had the car that moved sometimes and and so no problem we were just but but but suddenly after God said that I kept getting put in these places with these Jacuzzi tubs freaked me out freaked me out I'm like I can't do this God I gave you my life you don't ask me to come to this place there's a Jacuzzi in the living room Jesus I can't do it I love you but I can't do it I love you but I can't do it oh he's he has so much fun you have no idea how much fun God has one time I still didn't get what he was doing and I was still offended by it so I looked at my host it's a big jacuzzi I said excuse me I did I was it was terrible I said I'm very sorry but I can't stay in this room they looked at me like it's not good enough - it's like six-star you know what you don't I said I'm so sorry I just don't you have a motel 6 I actually did that I actually did that and the man just looked at me like you're terrible he didn't say that just his face what a jerk what a jerk and then I heard the Lord say you've just defended him they were trying to honor you and you just basically spit at him and you honor the Chiefs and you honor the poor and you honor everyone that I asked you to go to and you will stay anywhere I put you anytime and you will never ever ever ever question where I put you to sleep and most of the time it's in a tent or hut or little simple block house but when he decides he decides so if you really say your life's not your own you mean your life's not your own you don't start fussing when God puts you somewhere different so when I got that I I turned on those Jacuzzi tubs about four five six times a day I filled them up filled them up filled them up put the bubbles in put the salt in said yes Lord shaka roba then i go right back to the bush where i don't even have a just maybe a littering in a good village their life's not your own you don't tell god what to do you yield your life to god so when when when one of these meetings and I'm gonna shock raba one of these meetings where God was touching me really started touch me in a powerful way was it was a huge pastors conference men would never forget it two of them pastors conferences and all the other speakers were men of course there were pastors and I was told by the rest of them that I had to speak about the father heart of God I said sweet Jesus I don't know how to do that and I started praying and I started contending and I started weeping and I started crying out I said Lord if I I'm a very obedient person and and I'm obedient to you and I'm obedient to my hosts and if I'm supposed to speak about the father heart then you're gonna have to tell me about the father heart cuz I don't know about the father heart so you tell me and I'll speak and father showed up not his full glory I am a theologian so I know how to phrase that so good to see you I love you so much I'm coming down I got a hug you cuz I just so happy to see sweet oh thank you Jesus he's here yes Chuck ABAB so so shall Abbas son - so God showed up and and and he showed up his father and he handed me keys he handed me keys and he said you use these keys now it comes from John 14 remember I told you to turn there an hour ago so I had these keys in my hand John 14 and it says he didn't tell me John 14 but I know John 14 now because he told me later and now I'm telling you ahead of time John 14 trust in God Trust also in me I'm going to prepare a place for you and preparing rooms for you if it were not so I would not have told you come come on come on I want you to go into the rooms and he gave me these keys and the first room was full of food and I went in there I went in there Shabba I went into the room full of food shed obey I love the food room I love the food room and and I love all the food there were rice and beans and yes sugar sugar was there I'm telling you I saw it I saw sugar in that room there was sugar there there was rice there there were beans there there were food food food all over that room oil there was food and I looked around he said any time I tell you go in here I was at a prayer a prayer house gathering and I was sobbing sobbing over the fact that 20 million people are dying of starvation every day and I said Lord let us feed him you said we had keys to the food room I got back to another place and I got a call from a woman who I knew and she said we have food for you and then a long story don't have time she called me back in half an hour and she said how much food do you want I said how much do you have if you just want to feed your little family of four or three you're in New York three you need as much food but if if you if you can see what I see your answer is different so I've been containing 420 million meals I wanted to at least take care of that for a day last year we fed over 6 million meals I wanted Owen 20 million I said lord I want 20 million meals the lady said we have 20 million meals before I told her the number which I just got take those keys walk in there shut up your life has to make a difference ride the wave paddle out what you see we're just we're just so we we put God in a box and then if we're charismatic we put in a bigger box and then if we're really well Holly spirit river people we put him in a bigger box he doesn't want a box he's God he'll have no box you just need to position yourself to do what he says and go where he goes and listen the next room he took me in full of body parts went in there where it was a weird room eyeballs blinking at me ears and eyeballs and livers and spleens and and toes I love
