oh no oh no i think this is the worst deck i've ended up with oh no no no the madman tonight it's into the cold darkness mediocre first pick uh that's two mediocre picks to start would i rather have frosty boy or stormplay commander that's an elemental that's some very minor plus synergy from mage i think that blizzard doesn't impact enough imagine spending six mana just to deal two damage arcane amplifier that's a really good card i think i want berserker over shiva berserker is just always good in mage you can make it a 5-2 javar is only good if i'm not playing a tempo deck tough decision i think a lot of people look at the polymorphisms like oh yeah of course polymorph right but polymorph doesn't catch you up just trades evenly most of the time i'm gonna go to work profit versus polymorph a lot of decision points here i feel like valuing good stats for the coast ring toss now that's a good card bell bringer solid card i don't believe i have very many things that are important to rush out there's some synergy with parade leader but i guess i'll go berserker hey look now there's a place i can pick up probably [Music] uh how much do i disrespect polymorph all right polymorph in this case but it's closer than you think ah this one's close as well i'll go initiate firework ellie three good cards here which one's best that's a really good two i'm gonna pick that really good too good four it's like senior great card uh blah a box i think random mage spells aren't that bad and a saber and wrap me up to one of the sixes i suppose uh no secrets are in this deck but the other cards are worse i guess three mana two two is pretty bad but i'll try to pick a secret in the next eleven oh why do i get all the good cards at the same time this has been a really sad arena because i each time that i've gotten a good card offered the the other two cards are good and then like i get three bad cards offered at the same time over just very sad anyways firebrand is really good i guess it's kind of get a ton of intellect god i can't pick the mirror energy over these oh i'm so angry hellbringer place of summoner good stats for cost i suppose uh two mana two three whatever [Music] one thief or optimistic erdogar one thief the ruby and profit i'm totally gonna have a three minute tutu in my deck gotta pick some cheap spells to go with the firebrand hot head i need the fours it's ice barrier claw machine i guess oh no oh no this duck oh no no no no but maybe such a deck will go and show you that it's all about good stats for the cost i think and this deck can open up with solid tempo start still on the wrong side okay let's see on two delinquent initiate parade leader parade leader amani berserker that is the best three that i have i don't have that many threes so i should keep it another ice blast i guess [Music] embarrassment time i don't want to put the 3-4 into the 4-4 time for embarrassment oh my goodness yeah that's not that bad cheap stuff okay firebrand missiles so good right now what about firework elemental though that's on curve i have so few spells it might be right to actually play both of the fire brands on the same turn and then play the missiles yeah that might be better definitely need to uh get moving because this deck's card quality is very low in the late game all right there's no burst in this deck whatsoever the only way i can kill the opponent is by having the board and then doing enough damage very tricky best card the only cards i have here are good stats for the cost cards but hey that is my general philosophy in arena and this maybe it'll work out i do believe that was something like uh this deck i have to take great risk i will always lose the flame strike so might as well the opponent's picking all these blizzards which i uh trashed during my picks i was like that doesn't do enough i think i'm looking for a rigged and to rig the game here although i get a good card i very well might play it oh it's good stands for cost play it play it [Music] impressive let's see dueling ideologies here on one side good stats for the cost on the other side cool effects okay still got the coin take a moment and then pick the rigged and another wind portal i mean if good stats for cost guy keeps playing threats and what you might call it and cool effects guys just keeps freezing the board then big stats for the good stats for the cost guy eventually wins it all right good cards he's running low on cards the uh three extra cards really helped me a lot a lot and hey i finally got burst oh no i will cross the remaining cards in this deck all suck that's not a surprise they're actually all bad at the stage in the game got a 2 3 a 3-1 that gets another 3-1 arcane amplifier might be the best card in there there's a 1-5 which takes two of the opponents man i'm just going down the list that's the orc got a four minute three six rush horn cultist hill bringer and six mana four four in there this isn't gonna be easy oh but one of the better cards in the deck is in my hand always i think i want to increase the chances i get solarian from [Music] this is actually looking good for me i made it past scrap yard colossus put in enough pressure that fleet hoof pearl tusk was not an 88 [Music] as all thanks to the game being rigged with rigged fair game all right i'm hoping for some of the games to be easier than that first one this one looks like it'll be when i actually have a teardrop i have the coin with the firebrand and i have a good curve i have to save coin for firebrand i think i think it's gonna be turn two berserker turn three or turn four fireband coin initiate guess it's not that good okay impressive and it's gone wow what plane firework elemental does kill it and i do have a card to get the fire brand still little brutal can i overcome this start there's no real good way to deal one damage to that 36 no really elegant way not that great against me i guess i hate letting it deal through damage almond ducks are scary in the late game too uh they generally get better buckets so they generally get like the eye of the storm or some big cards near the end i'll just lose to eye of the storm maybe i can ring toss on his turn nine without a canner spell the polymorph i can hit the plagued further drake with those are just some thoughts as we dive into despair definitely want to deal one damage to that hopefully the fire brand can do that you find me you get burned i don't necessarily have to [Music] kill the 1-5 immediately it'll just come back i think i just do this it doesn't look bad now but the thing to like watch out for is is turn eight and turn ten and like even as turn seven and turn nine i can deal with the what first big thing with the polymorph but boy is it gonna get ugly after that a charming composition okay that's pretty useful i hit the wolf i take a lot more damage to me but saves a few of them i guess nah i'm gonna rough works against me wake up um oh no well played okay [Music] it's looking like it'll probably be a one-two retire but who knows i mean this game it's really hard to say i'll lose in this game i actually have a good start but now yeah i don't know we'll see you find me you fight me you get burned up five i actually can't kill that thing the frost elemental is just too sad wow two very different choices here i think i need the control provided by the missiles pretty good result a good card to keep frozen so it doesn't get a trade while i wait for something to kill those robes nothing is triggered the game might be rigged i should hit the face luckily i'm guaranteed to hit the face if it's vaporized then this is also bad against flame strike all right either spellbender or fair [Music] are game i have 17 my hidden for the last damage it was good you've got me fired we'll get there blessings to you i think i'm not actually going to activate that it's not worth the temporary or two damage it's like using the coin to deal two damage to face don't think it's worth it right away i get to like actually use the mana but better to point out the berserker probably attack no nova all right i'll take that that should upgrade too hard to corrupt that that's very interesting actually okay frost elemental into hard removal elemental and then another hard removal for the big stuff he's got it's just my work energy i think i can let that one go if he can actually cast three spells we should let him go for it buddy i don't believe you that's ridiculous seven mana four seven unless all right okay whatever i'd like to see you do that again i think i need to keep playing the good stats for the cost menu on the curve it just has way too many hit points it's too low a threat follow my lead the joke's on you if you have generate an extra managed turn i don't play the profit basically true there's a little devil in all of us march one i have no spells guess we'll risk this not like i really had another realistic alternative here for a good time three minions in the hand three spells in the hand we'll be fine it wasn't that big respells on him that's actually quite a few we'll be fine it wasn't that big i think i can deduce he doesn't have hex in hand because he didn't play hex no need to worry i want to trade the 4-4 into the 3-4 yeah i mean just value trade get him um seems like they don't have an answer for one health things get it done before the tidal wave turn actually i'm good do i have lethal i have 20 damage showing looks like lethal okay okay 12.4 looks good temp i will rule the world with river crocolus and others the spell damage doesn't matter he's down to three mana next turn now don't have a great turn for play but possible that just playing the two drop in hero powering might be decent actually looks decent and i guess i'll go for the value trade these old bones just keep moving hot streak well yesterday he's got the aoe it doesn't hit the hellbringer i suppose oh the risk nice educated risk there i guess okay six mana for seven ten good stats for the cost three drops really have gotten quite a lot better when you compare them with whispers of the old gods there i would love to fire brand here but there is no good spell i'll just play it as a three mana three looks like it'll be like no not a clear maybe a clear no clear i always have the one ones good you find me uh how easy will it be to corrupt the while the other cards suck that card's the most value though it looks like the value is concluding it might be useful you cheater no friend the bad side of my deck is showing itself my entire deck is good stats for the cost asterisk one card in the deck might be not great stats for the cost oh that's that's not great a little rigging a little vaping he's almost certainly going to clear that won't he i think he'll clear gotta squeeze all this value out that was probably a very good safety instructor [Applause] all right give me the cards yes hmm [Music] your three two and a one two that was a very very difficult choice hard to say which one was better my hand uh doesn't really give me much help other than i want to play two minute two three and then it's like question mark is [Music] well he followed up with a secret [Music] bad enough that's not worth playing right here maybe [Music] maybe you've got me fired up so i can't answer that with fireball can answer it with crimson hot head also slow answer better than best answer i suppose nice random spell oh that's going to hurt this is where i'm eternally behind it's pretty spooky he hits the middle one kills both all right he does only have one card left i have that going for me at least the middle one is big it's a good turn for me only spent two mana and i ate but sure is spooky i feel like i gotta stop that three damage of claw machine but oh if i take six can i win this game i can't take that three but i can't play claw machine here probably blah blah blah blah blah maybe i can play claw machine claw machine will buy me like a whole turn but now i can't deal with the next trends card it's it's terrible just aggressive enough i guess [Applause] okay so i'm on a three-turn clock at the most optimistic stage here i had a lot of health left i would be ahead but i do not have a lot of health left in fact we seem to be at zero health left but if i had a lot of health left have you winning for what it's earth two drop three drop four drop five drop it's good it's just going a second okay and got better these old bones just keep moving so you're here for the tour interesting attack coin for no i want to save the coin for the firebrand i don't want to hit face but but i'm a coward but i lack spirit it's the good old prize vendor in warlock it's not great for him good for me okay next turn six potential mana firebrand coins seven potential mana just attacking getting a claw machine seems pretty good oh it's been playing very tempo light kill that before anything gets buffed still three very nice [Music] get two mana play okay is this your big swing turn this is very zooey i got my elemental mech beast dragon oh actually quite good for me so therefore just five fire blast i guess forgot about the one mana uh still just good as this just float the one mana tapping daring like this oh no oh no hmm you've got me fired up you fight me you get burned it's uh not an easy one to get out of but maybe hmm that was a small misplay your vocation is probably lethal but i don't see any real reason why i have to right now i think i think i just toss most of my hand three five seven eight he's a hero power play for the vocation lethal next turn what's in the box what's in the box what's in the box [Music] so much good stuff i was playing around during uh what was that set a black set huh or mint yes what was that set was it odyssey torment judgment looked really insane when it first came out since then the creatures and magic have gotten a lot better keeping up with them every uh here and there you find me you get burned did you just okay you must have a plan ah another one wait what oh okay [Music] that looks like it was going to it was heading towards the wall miss play world but it was not i don't have the man this ground fire blast sure feels good to get the uh card that gets discounted at the start of my turn at the end of the opponent's turn you've got me fired cool valley i did briefly think about uh playing prophet two corrupt ring toss but that's done all right step right up step right up it's rigged i tell you it's rigged hot streak oh fancy give me a five or six how many do i have in the dark three four five six seven eight cards if i count nerubian profit this time eight cards that would work twelve cards that don't that was a good discard for me no i can't kill the ogre but that's okay it's like what are two cards that don't matter quite yet but soon they'll matter five drop is the dream it can't possibly be right to ring toss can it [Music] wait a turn get another one polymorph target detected [Music] come on five or six drop promotional studies ortonville i could also find something we're getting to the weakness of my deck strength of the opponent's deck the late game come on huh i kind of feel like i have to kill this thing so terrible we'll be fine it wasn't that big mere entity probably the most useful right now that's fine wow pass okay i'm trying to go for a rigged now it's rigged vaporize no counter spell probably there's no way vaporize would ever work probably especially if i don't attack he's got to think one's vaporized i would hope i really want to risk it but is this lethal yes it feels like such a accomplishment to get to seven wins of this deck yes i can't believe i made it to seven uh most of the people certainly don't think it's going to get to nine i'll try to prove them wrong one two well uh this hand though it actually looks like a good hymn wow because soon gets offered a lot in arena apparently or maybe [Music] there's like a few hypotheses hypotheses number one c'thun is really good so you see more of it when you get to higher winds so you see it more often hypothesis number two it's because you know it shows up at the very beginning of the game that you know it exists so therefore you think there's a lot of it this could be difficult to i'm trying to get a low one i think rigged fair game i can either take the guaranteed two cards or the maybe three cards green green okay i actually want to keep that in my hand to trigger firebrand this is a tempo deck so if i can't get rigged fair game to activate i probably would never have been winning the game anyways [Music] yeah this hand is actually really good and the opponent's hand was decent so good to get an actually good start against warlock who also has a good hand it's not just a gimme the card draw should happen near last i'll play the five mana 4-4 over the rigged fair game silver moon shall not fall [Applause] see firebrand's definitely one of my better cards i should keep that man if i keep drawing one two three no one will ever know that i have a bad deck it's only uh what you might call it it's a gold shower footmen it's a river crocolist and it's a spider tank but just might work out oh my goodness spell spell spell that's pretty where does good magic come from [Music] no hmm i think this just became the best six of the bunch that is all the high end in the deck well it's got to be one of the best three drops i could have gotten if i freeze that that'll die that's really nice good job frost elemental you did it we'll be fine well this guy's doing a lot of damage oh it's not enough to bring it down hmm definitely don't want to claw machine into an a2 i definitely would not call that the perfect spell but um let me think the next one i can expect to be facing a 5-7 ah fine i feel like that's too slow and i'm going to lose to his late game but it's not like i had anything better i really need the hex to knock over here i really need him to not have 10 mana win the game all my late game is basically out so it has to be these cards in my hand that win the game hmm uh hmm that's a good combo it's like a 10 12 14 he's actually too close to killing me surprisingly eight plus 12 is 20 with the bloodlust we'll be fine it wasn't that big can't believe this deck's actually standing up to late game i did just happen to draw all of my late games very unusually the way this deck drew i got like the best part of my deck and i dodged all the weak parts hopefully that'll be enough gotta go face if he has tidal wave so be it maybe i wanted to kill one of the two ones hmm because the fire blast is taking out one of the next turn are you ready no every single damage matters i have no burst in my deck anyway so kind of brutal hmm is that a cards when he's got the control hmm that was like one of the best cards i could have drawn drew really well but it might not be enough okay that's a bad drill on his side maybe i have a chance here one thief is probably the best card i can get domi wand thief that's not great maybe i should keep it in my hand no i need to get it out because it can actually deal some damage the reason they'll hold it is because i might get one thief and something has to activate one thief if i don't play it now it'll never deal any damage what a day okay the win condition seems to be discover a spell with one thief and have this spell be awesome i have six damage but toss the ring oh i should have pinged the 1-4 no all right well you know what good job this deck making it to eight wins good job flame ward's not an arena so against the people who know they wouldn't do it but maybe i should have like tried to play on the possibility that he doesn't know thing the one four you
