Halo 5 Is The Worst Halo Campaign

bet you didn't expect that the worst halo game let's go and we're doing the campaign i see the tears coming in you should have trusted the title no one wanted me to play this and i'm doing it anyway this will finally complete our mainline halo legendary playthrough because we have to halo infinite's coming out this year allegedly this is the last halo game we have to do for [ __ ] legendary completion and it's the only one i haven't played because it looked so bad imagine you end up liking it i hear the gameplay is good it's really the story that is just absolute trash and i know the gist of the story and it is trash intro is pretty cool this is like the avengers or power rangers well i have no complaints about that intro that was just some like high octane [ __ ] oh bumper jumper i did change just chatting you need to refresh for that change to show for you that's damn it oh that oh my god this is gonna be awful but i'll make it work okay my thumbs do not work like they used to halo 5 is not on pc so i had to [ __ ] manually download this [ __ ] on xbox you can plug it in and playstation 2 really that's a game changer um i don't have another keyboard though would i need to unplug this one and use it i think yeah you know i'm not a [ __ ] i'll just play it if this gets like absolutely unbearable for me i'll switch but for now i'll just make this work all right we're cruising aim assist is just the best it's perfect for people like me that just cannot play console shooters or if you just want to cheat in a pc game oh god no god damn it please buck oh jesus okay even really started yet the cutscenes are pretty good i think they did a good job with the action it reminds me of like halo wars cutscenes those were always really [ __ ] cool i just feel bad pretty sure it's like a real war crime why is he not what the [ __ ] how many times have to shoot his little arms let's go linda bad idea okay i thought that was gonna be much quicker i need a hand here just [ __ ] grenade the covenant have ever thrown i see so we had a sword the whole time then eh okay prepare for team wipe remember when master chief was the last spartan and made him cool and unique and the spartans in halo reach were cool too it's not like that really matters that much he is still the only spartan two that i know but i haven't read every book his teammate right now are spartan twos ah very good ah all right so there that goes i guess so where did these guys come from then i thought chief was the only one that could survive the incredible torture of being a spartan two so they all trained with him okay but where did they come from is my question where were they during halo one through four i know june was a spartan two from halo reach apparently he didn't die i don't remember that but according to dankin he never died well was it not june that was a spartan 2 one of them was a spartan 2 in halo reach is there really no explanation for where the spartan 2s were they just come out of nowhere and now we're a team surely there is some explanation somewhere they wouldn't just pull that out of nowhere they were kids what i mean they were still kids they were saying chat was saying that chief grew up with them plus one of them did say i haven't seen chief this press from boot camp meaning they were not they were the same age i'm asking where they were during halo one through four that's that's all is there an explanation for why they weren't present during all of that they were at my place sorry nice [ __ ] yeah central control all right then good corners and i have to do this whole [ __ ] part again all because of that one [ __ ] no close call so there's another one eh the elites aren't nearly as tanky as the other games on legendary at least really the jackals are the hardest enemy so far they just never drop their shield let's go magnum this guy's afk there we are you having fun i think the gameplay is pretty [ __ ] good a lot better than halo 4. story still hasn't started yet i have no [ __ ] idea what's going on narratively since i haven't read every book but i'm just going with it for now i understand the gist cortana we're starting to believe is alive so that's pretty good i like it purely on gameplay what do you think i think the gameplay is good let's get to meridian before they do i like it the dash is nice the ground pounds cool trouble to charge all good options i think it's nice no problems there biggest problem i have with this game is that i'm using a controller that [ __ ] sucks but it's my own hubris that keeps me from plugging in the keyboard i love being an odst just point and shoot this gray area bs all right are you supposed to bring them in that's politely no the hell armor restraint short-circuit their suit systems the lock every other spartan every soldier when they hear about this they're gonna hate us you know that right all right let's go [ __ ] him in the ass now we have to kill master chief quickly he's out of control speaking of acts of aggression games that hire big actors and it ended up sucking to change my mind all of them maybe we're not the only ones happens sometimes though yeah sure you realize most games you play have big actors in them voicing there's only like [ __ ] 10 voice actors in any [ __ ] game ever kill all right this colony is pretty [ __ ] intense nevermind they're well equipped to fend for themselves this doesn't look like halo yeah but honestly i don't think keeping generic halo like let's say if you made halo 3 today i don't think it would be nearly as good as it uh as we remember it being though the multiplayer still fun it would not be nearly as great as we all remember it to be i'm certain of it so it needs to be upgraded there needs to be new things added and it's not like these are bad changes like that's nice like it adds some well kill him that's legendary it adds some actual like depth to combat where it's not just sit to hunt him down because we don't like that the lady is correct as to why we were on that planet we had a lead that chief was nearby halo 5 throws so many enemies at you and so pimple ammo like somehow more enemies and less ammo than halo 4 legendary oh my god no drones are back it seems didn't seem like they were going to make an appearance how naive i was to think something so childish still or mark a target and have them run in melee range and stand still like there's just no good options for this dumb [ __ ] ai oh i finally got a checkpoint what a weird checkpoint i get shot in the [ __ ] mouth and it triggers a checkpoint meanwhile i clear the whole area and get nothing not a single one of my teammates firing on him good work vail really locking them down with that plasma pistol that's my girl yeah all right that's good record everything looks pretty can't wait for my [ __ ] teammates to throw themselves into the lava oh my god it was a trap your presence in the guardians everyone's favorite sports are trapped are you the guardian i am the other humans are approved for passage regretfully surprised vice versa that sounds like a threat vacation [Music] yup anyone crazy enough to speedrun this game i don't know why they would but is that the strat and the speed runs or is that just totally random let's see the record is one hour 18 minutes for legendary so let's see this part actually this looks like a pretty cool speedrun game i'm not gonna lie there's actually some really cool tech here no he doesn't lead him off the map he just kills him normally ai this bad can even exist in current year all right let's go ai let's go team like they can't even just [ __ ] follow orders either tanaka was just standing right there as i was desperately pinging back in order to pick up this weapon and all she did was just still stand there it's crazy take that position why even have an order system when the ai doesn't even know how to finally checkpoint does this do any damage i'm just i mean it doesn't need to i'm just curious taking a thousand shots to kill a grunt i have no way of killing the sniper there is no precision [ __ ] here none did they actually kill the oh my god they did here actually why don't you take this take this spartan that's a beauty you should take it yourself someone take that weapon take it pick up that weapon all right so let's just uh i'm gonna forget that that's even a feature in this game because it's fundamentally not is there anything they will take anything at all let me see surely there was a gun back here at god it's another wave they're not even going for the oh god there's an exit luckily the ai is turned off not just on my team but in general it seems okay that's how we do it now you pick this up yeah the campaign is definitely as bad as everyone said i do like some of the cutscenes though i think there are individual cool moments but the story is [ __ ] horrible in the ai oh my god the ai is quite literally the worst ai in any game i've ever experienced and i'm not exaggerating it is [ __ ] broken let's go bale you're doing incredible stairs she's actually firing she is actually firing both all right i also see a problem i'm about to run into he has an energy sword because he gets there so quickly that he's able to immediately kill hunters by hitting them in the back with the energy sword before they become active we'll see how a carbine does i i i love when i [ __ ] tag an enemy for them and their only their only [ __ ] idea is to immediately charge right at it without even shooting i hate the ai in this game so [ __ ] much it is unbearably terrible holy [ __ ] oh it's the worst feature i've ever seen because it just doesn't work yeah go get them there you go that's how [ __ ] this looks so easy when he does it but there's like death barriers all over these [ __ ] things like he jumps really far away and i guess that's because of that death barrier and then it's just crouch on the top and walk forward so once i get on that i'm good okay we're through we're [ __ ] through oh my god this looks [ __ ] hard what okay so now that i'm through where's the spot to fall there it is okay well i got the checkpoint so worst comes to worst i can reload checkpoint there's supposed to be a ghost here this skip was so not worth it i don't want i don't want to hear it okay this game actually saves checkpoints as is it doesn't like several high-level load systems how much time do we have not enough almost not in fact didn't quite make it but we'll get it on the next try there's supposed to be a bridge here i thought i could squeeze under that it's okay it's okay get him on the next one there's supposed to be a bridge here is there another way [ __ ] okay well we'll part of my elite gamer strats they actually killed some enemies this time my team ai is actually shooting i think this is like the first time my whole team's actually been shooting this entire game chat though apparently they fired the person or the team that wrote this one so makes me a little more optimistic about halo infinite i did like the gameplay actually i've said this multiple times halo 2 is probably my second favorite game of all time but i can't play halo 2 these days i don't have fun with it i don't think the classic halo formula has held up as well as modern games i think modern games i will still prefer to classic halo i think they need to innovate in the halo formula that being said i still don't like sprint i think they could do it without sprint i think that slows down the pace of a multiplayer game but i haven't played halo 5 so i'm only going off of four in reach halo 5 plot summary uh master chief finds cortana still alive he gets blue team together to go track her down and talk to her and like tell her he loves her uh but you know the red team doesn't like that very much so they're tasked with the chasing him down and locking his armor and bringing him home because he's awol but then they decide you know what he's a good guy maybe we shouldn't do that out of nowhere and then they're like okay we can work with you now so they do that's pretty much it
