Green Screen Davinci Resolve Part 2 -- Fusion DELTA KEYER

now the next way second way to get rid of the green screen here is over here in the fusion tab you can do everything we just did in fusion when i tried to do it before it didn't turn out as good so we'll give us a shot again um kind of easier way is to do what we did before using the color tab but if you want to put it all in one spot use a fusion you can do that here do the same thing we did up front to start off you got to make sure these things are sized correctly bring the opacity down in the inspector tab make sure the faces are aligned looks pretty good opacity back up again highlight both of these right click on your mouse bring up here to new fusion clip it's going to combine the two not to worry click on this click on your fusion at the bottom here and again some housekeeping you gotta do media in one media two media in two click on the two on the keyboard you'll know which one this is f2 to rename do the same thing for the other one number two on the keyboard f2 to rename and now this node tree is gonna work a little bit differently here again we're doing everything within fusion it's got me the green screen here we're gonna click shift space bar to get our menu selection again we're gonna look for a delta here and then also in this spot below click on this shift space looking for a clean plate what you're going to do is connect the green screen to the clean plate and the green screen here to the deltic here with the clean plate selected and go to the right side under inspector hit the eye dropper drag and hold bring it over here to get the green nothing changes again because the clean plate isn't selected so click if i just click two on the keyboard to get the green much nicer key here in fusion than it is in the color tab the one thing that we gotta do changes so is to get this black border black outline out of there so we're gonna go here again to the inspector tab we're going to erode this a little bit to get that black out and then we're going to grow the edges because we're trying to do is create a full screen green screen here it doesn't get everything just click on the fill button again on the right under inspector there we go this is our clean plate or clean background we're going to use in the middle section here again click shift space looking for a poly whoops polygon this is a mask we're gonna use to mask out the face click on number one in the keyboard and then me click on two we're gonna go dual screen here with the polygon selected and control on your keyboard we're gonna scroll in a bit again get some of that neck go up here one thing you want to see is over here on the right you want to invert that if it hasn't already been selected so everything inside of this or in the black is what we are going to use inside of this mask if you don't do it you can do it later just a heads up make sure you click that with your polygon node selected you're going to right click on this nope you're going to right click on the square to get this line bring it over here and let go this polygon is now going to be our garbage mat and then the clean plate at the bottom same idea with the square right click on your mouse bring this up here let go make sure it's a right click add a left click and click on clean plate clean plate goes clean plate polygon goes to garbage the delta key is selected number two on your keyboard here's what we have which same idea as before click on the polygon again you can clean this up a little bit here by scrolling in control scroll wheel want this to blend a little bit nicer so we're going to go over here to a softer edge there we go [Music] perfect and then we're going to connect the two delta cure comes over here to the merge node merge number two this is what we got again if it doesn't line up correctly after the delta clear shift delta cure shift space transform node this will be the way that you can adjust and change some of it so you can make it bigger smaller however you like remove this here just a little bit there we go again this polygon it's got a nice soft edge here so blends a bit better the other thing we're gonna do is for our coloring after transform shift space color corrector and do the same things we did before there you go perfect so now i got the green screen out we've got a fairly good lineup here we're going to click on gian john the volvo commercial click two again got his face control spacebar bring up our selection tool again now we're looking for a planar tracker node add that here with that selected on the right under inspector a couple things we're going to do just like we did before track set hybrid point area motion type translation rotation scale make sure you make the tracking area of what you want to attract and track backwards because we're here in the middle a little bit easier toward the beginning and we'll track forward track back perfect and then we're going to track forward [Music] excellent job here and then the final touch remove these here just a little bit with the planner tracker node selected you get all these different data points here we're going to save the data points by hitting create planar transform see this note floating around make sure the shift bar on your keyboard bring it down into this section here after the color corrector let go it's now attached let's bring it back and with the media out selected number two see my face his face space it'll take forever let's go to the edit page here we're gonna let this cash out and then that's the way no and then that is two ways to get rid of the green screen in davinci resolve one easier quicker probably say the color tab the second one we showed you is in the fusion tab if you want to put it all together into one it depends what we're looking to do um i like the color corrector a little bit better a little bit easier but i think the green screen delta cure does a much better job in fusion so use however like speaking of
