why'd you call it a pie just from the slice the way that i sliced it santos what have you done to these uh i put a little sauce on them and then i put a little cheese on and bake them in the oven we need the w we have to win we're over four right now the problem is it's dry um the point goes to the red team good job i was glad to get that point even though i didn't know what my pie was with the women scoring the first point up next star uh katie and steve let's go please who were given the recipe for a frittata why such little egg katy i mean i feel like it's still delicious i'm looking at mine i'm looking at steve ours look totally different i don't know how chef is gonna make up his mind it actually tastes better than it looks um it's put together beautifully potatoes are nice i thought they're gonna be slightly undercooked tough on this one the point goes to both of you good job very good job well done really well done trailing by one point the blue team is looking to aaron to take the point over ashley and even out the score shepherd's pie a dish that's close to my heart and how did you season the lamb salt pepper carrot and garlic aaron what we've done to the meat there there's red wine thyme rosemary one of them is dry and dreadful the point goes to the blue team good job aaron really good job the red wine helped me out delicious everyone loves a moist pie dani jr let's go please next in the battle of the burger danine that's tasty delicious thank you chef beats out jr green roll earning a point for the red team congratulations red team with the red team up by one point kailyn looks like somebody's chewed that squares off against bryant blend you've got absolutely spot on with their lobster spring rolls the point goes to the blue team next up jennifer it's nice um come down with a bit more color faces off with sterling it's seasoned nicely with their take on the lettuce wraps the winning dish is both with the score tied at four each it's time for classic spaghetti and meatballs from saudi on the red team that is so under seasoned and frank on the blue the point clearly goes to the blue team good job thank you sir season heather thank you love the sauce thank you i love that sauce it's a little different from my mother's but it's good thank you love that sauce mommy thank you so much i thought of you joy and scott let's go please i'm always looking for a five out of five but uh anything positive out of chef ramsay's mouth i'll take it uh scott let's start off with yours it's a potato souffle with a bechamel with a little jarlsberg and uh fresh herbs i have to commend you on having the balls to put a souffle out there and the seasoning is delicious thank you really good job indeed that dish is a four out of five good job thank you really well done good job scott it's not over here i'm really nervous i just going last you feel like all eyes are on you and i'm hoping and i'm praying so chef to be pleased with the dish joy chef for you i have a play on a um pierogi the filling is just a basic russet potato seasoned with salt and pepper and i finished it with a pinch of tom um seasoning proper the balance is nice because you can identify the hero being the potato yes sir okay it's three to tight and four to win [Music] out of five that dish five out of five describe the dish i have a chickpea dumpling it's in a very light fennel broth and then they have a ginger butter tofu i'm feeling the pressure right now i put my all into this one dish tofu i've never been a big fan up until now oh my god the breath is delicious thank you chef dumplings could be a little bit softer inside but a clever usage of the vegetables good job thank you so much pretty good thank you next up millie let's go milly has prepared a ricotta and spinach souffle wow why souffle it's a way that i introduce vegetables to my son so your son inspired you for this dish yes um how old is he 15 yeah 15 yes and when you were 15 were you eating souffles no way oh man i was sharing sharing chinese store platters with me and my boys you're sharing chinese i like a chinese takeaway to go yes yeah everything that i ever went through not having food not having money i think about it every day this is for my boy i want to show my son hard work pays off here's the thing it doesn't look that appetizing yes seriously but it tastes delicious thank you son's a lucky man good job i appreciate it next up megan let's go please describe this please i have a zucchini angel hair pasta with napa cabbage mushroom dumplings and a coconut broth and why angel hair it's a play on pasta a zucchini is not the most uh exciting on veg [Music] however you've lifted it love the idea of that angel hair thank you it's got finesse good job thank you pretty good job okay uh michelle please describe your dish i have a vegetable hash that has red pepper zucchini squash and little potatoes and then it's an egg souffle i separated the whites and the yolks whipped up the whites put it in a ramekin put the yolk back in more whites on top and i steamed it and then topped it with some micros um you don't like the word simple do you notice it doesn't look like a dinner entree or like a breakfast dish yes sir the eggs cooked perfectly it is something definitely a vegetarian would love it's almost like a sundae brunch this is tough all four dishes tasted good but the winner of the first ever vegetarian challenge i can't even freeze right now just say the day this is really tough congratulations megan great job i'd like you to choose one of the chef to share this reward today it's hey really tea she hasn't won the past two challenges but she's been on both of the rewards ugh well the two of you are gonna be starting off boarding a private motorboat in newport beach california from there you'll get a bird's-eye view of the amazing coastline as you fly sky high in you'll paris out after you've done parasailing you're gonna die in a montage you're going to enjoy the most incredible three-course stunning dinner uh both you go get changed megan finally finally well done yes thank you chef uh congratulations great thank you i love the ocean and i love heights um not uh but to get out of hell's kitchen is a reward on it you just take your glasses off for one minute how old are you 28 stop harry potter looks older jesus are you on a diet that's enough that's enough isn't it [Laughter] okay so what's the dish panzer pigeon chef with a sweet potato puree and a california fig and balsamic production you cook the squab beautifully puree's just absolutely sublime congratulations four ladies first so first name is tech right tech this is chipotle honey grilled shrimp and how long you been cooking um about 10 years except i'm unemployed at the moment i'm not coming in with a career to go back to like i need this job i got a family to support i gotta win this [Music] that's nice and prawns are good beauty i'm patting myself on the bed so first name is jim jim yes do me a favor i'm not intimidated by anybody take your coat off okay all right i'm a little intimidated by chef ramsay this is a seared ahi tuna with a soy ginger vinaigrette it tastes delicious good congratulations man whose is this my own chef okay come forward madam please and how did you cook the halibut i pan seared it and then i put it in the oven just for a little bit [Music] thank you that's the tastiest thing i've had all day thank you chef seasoned beautifully light fragrant that was delicious thank you the best dish by a mile so far chef ramsay said i had the best dish [Music] let's go i'm confident on my dish i mean i know the fish did not come out the way i wanted but the way i plated it it looked beautiful that bit there looks like a dog's chewed at it why is it like that what have you done to it no i like my dishes small i don't give a what you like where's the other piece of halibut i cut the end off i thought it was too big chef jackie that looked like a halibut had been thrown on the road and seared with the grill of a car two out of five piss off after jackie's poor showing ariel is looking to make up ground with her hand seared halibut and a bacon back vinaigrette um there's white wine to kind of add a sweet element to the dish that's five for five good job nice ariel that's one of the most delicious dishes you've done so far on this competition thank you so much up next is haasen with his halibut and andouille sausage hash the dish is missing one thing what is that chef it's called a sauce this is a three out of five after haasen's disappointing dish it's kristen's turn to try and wow chef ramsay with her almond and brown butter sauce beets a touch crunchy that's the only defect on that dish that's a solid four good job really good job after a strong showing from kristen danny come on danny danny is up next with her halibut topped with apricot chutney just a tad too sweet danny that's a three out of five you're back in line please yeah last up ashley let's go please as the last member of the red team ashley must score a perfect five to tie the blue team describe the dish please what i have for you is a pan-seared halibut with the sweet curry broth [Music] you know it's sweet and spicy but aromatic ashley that's a five for five again good job uh brilliant really good job gerard please explain your dish to the chefs i have a mexican tostada with black bean salsa tomatillo sauce and a tomato salad on top when i look at food we refer to as being tight you know you want it to be you want to be able to see all the different ingredients it's a little bit loose actually nice flavor oh wow tough on this one at blue team you need seven to tie and eight to win chefs time to vote [Music] really good indeed next whose is this uh it's my chef yep that ford what is it it's a miso sake marinated chilean sea bass and how long are we cooking uh about four years chef i've been cooking for my family also chef my father has lived in the restaurant industry and he had no time for his children i want to show my dad what i can do in the kitchen yeah one tasting that looks like you've been cooking for 15 years cooked perfectly thank you chef thank you and where did you start cooking oh in my father's kitchen chef have you cooked in that dish no i have not you
