people off and i was on the list of people to be let go as soon as covet lockdown happened i was furloughed for two months as if life wasn't crazy enough during the pandemic my family moved across the world to be here at whc during my senior year of high school and i didn't know what god wanted me to do with my life [Music] how did i get here where'd it go wrong this wasn't the plan that i was hoping for i guess i'll play along so many questions i don't understand [Music] but i don't have to carry all this pain with my own heart i was originally on the list to be let go but god put it on the leaders hearts to find a way to keep me and they did after being for lord for two months i got the job back miraculously with a bonus and a race god spoke to me to go into the family business ministry i'm going to valor and i received the mrs ellen parsley scholarship i'm done trying to figure it out figure it out figure it out when you're already working it out working it out working it out that's why i sing be god big love big god big big love big love in 2018 and 19 i was not able to sing much in the choir due to the circumstances dictating i needed to work two jobs i had pretty much resigned myself to be working two jobs for quite a long time while choir was out with the pandemic i asked the lord to somehow make a way for me to be a part of the choir again and then in april out of nowhere i received a promotion that more than covered the wages of the second job and then two weeks later when pastors said choir was coming back god had already made a way for me to be in the choir again praise god in may of 2020 my husband and i got covered by june 1st he couldn't breathe and the doctor said to bring him to the hospital immediately he was admitted to the icu severely dehydrated with pneumonia and covid he was placed on a ventilator and almost died two times i asked my choir and my church family to pray and god did a total miracle my husband should be dead but he here today that say i don't know how to express that life because i don't feel it you don't have to feel the wind to know that it's there a fire is self-announcing and i speak to every person that is so now it would only be a visit because i'm faithful to my church but if if you would permit us he said my family and i we drove past world harvest just so we could make sure we could get there on time next week i said well come on so if your house of worship is not open this one is and as soon as yours gets open we will send you right back where you came from but we we want to worship god together we want to assemble together do you have a bible not only are crosses disappearing from the steeples across america but bibles are disappearing from the laps of believers never ever replace your bible with a phone i'm going to try this side over here never ever replace your bible with a phone i didn't say don't have a phone with your bible on it i didn't say that but you need to get used to holding that bible you lay a phone when you go out to lunch today you lay a phone on that table nobody will notice a thing but you get you a family bible about that day or a little new testament i call those a dagger the whole thing is a sword but just the new testament that's just a little what my daddy would call a pocket knife a little sticker amen but it doesn't matter if it's got holy bible on it anywhere everybody in the place will notice it and be drawn to it and you will have witnessed your faith by doing nothing more than having a bible and you ought to be proud to have it i preached the first open crusade in the former soviet union in the city that was called leningrad the day i went to the pulpit in the 22 000 seat linen sports arena where the olympic games were held they took sledgehammers and beat the statues of linen to pieces i have pieces of it i mounted the pulpit that night 22 000 people and i preached the gospel and the first thing i said to them i held up a bible so if you've got one hold it up come on hold i love that yeah just show america that show america the world harvest church is a place where people have their bible and they don't only have their bible their bible has them and i said this is the bible let them take your automobile let them take you home let them take your apartment let them shut your water off let them deny you food let them put you in prison but never again let them take this book from you it is life spirit and life it is the oak of god planted in the forest of eternity entwining its roots around the rock of ages make them pry it out of your dead cold stiff fingers never ever ever surrender this book again i got back to my hotel room couldn't lay down on the bed it was too filthy had my clothes on i put towels over the top of the bed to try to stay free from filthiness and germs that's what happens when god is banned oh it got real quiet that's what happens when god is no longer allowed to be a part of the national discourse that's what happens when the supreme court of the united states bans the bible from our schools that's what happens when teachers attempt to teach third graders to hate one another based on the color of their skin that's what happens why are you quiet when the administration attempts to sue the supreme court of the united states for upholding the ban on abortion in the great fulcrum of god's glorious power through the gospel of jesus christ need i remind you that the book said and the book is right and they are i said the book is right and they are the book is right and they are i'm going to say it until i see everybody repeating the book is right and they are wrong the book records these words in verse 31 of chapter number eight here the folk the level of god's power in the gospel of jesus christ say the power come on help me the power of the gospel there is no power because we no longer preach the gospel there are two reasons nobody's getting born again in the churches of america anymore number one number one shout number one number one you don't bring them number two preachers don't preach to the unsaved preachers don't give altar calls preachers are mainly pastors pastors with the five pole ministry office gift of teaching which is a beautiful gift but the only one the fivefold ministry office gifts apostle prophet evangelist pastor teacher that does not have innate within it the ability to convict the human heart of its sin the prophet does the apostle does the pastor does but we have a whole lot of folks that are pastoring not because they're called the pastor but because they have a gift to teach and they can gather 300 people around them and play golf five days a week it's quiet in here there has to be a change what you will
