[Music] so hello there guys welcome back i hope you're keeping well um it's a very muddy morning here quite misty it's been raining for a few days so yeah it's quite quite muddy underfoot um out today to cook some steak steak and chips and some asparagus on the side and i'm gonna need a good hot fire with a nice bit of coals to to do this so um just gonna make some feather sticks and get this fire going and we'll talk some more about the steak in a bit so [Applause] well the fire's taken now despite it being so muddy underneath i'm just gonna take this uh small round and uh i've got my throw with me so i'm just going to make a bit of a platter and chopping board just so i can get some stuff done make them chips my baton is up the other part of the woods so i'm just going to try and use this handles getting a bit loose on this [Applause] starting to fill that fire now all right gonna make some nice big fat chips started spitting a little bit out here but uh hopefully it won't rain properly i've had enough of that last couple of days the vein of this video similar to last week's um if you saw that video you'll know the steak shop website sent me a couple of steaks to try out this is the second or two i incorrectly said i had a tomahawk in the last one i don't know why i had that on my mind but um it's a porterhouse chew liter which is a spanish breed i believe and it's got nice marbling in it it's about a kilogram steak it is gigantic you wait till you see it but um in the vein of supporting small businesses during these times they have a code which is kent and they'll give you a discount on the website it's uh london-based business was a restaurant that had to close due to the situation and they started selling food directly so yeah some beautiful products on their website the discount is for 20 at the moment that's for a limited time because they had to sell during the other one that was a 10 discount so yeah they've made it 20 um just get in there if you want to and then it will go down to 10 after a short while so well here is that magnificent porterhouse julita the marbling in there sirloin and the fillet oh my god you can see how thick that is it's three inches in places i think absolutely beautiful so i'm gonna have to i've not decided if i'm doing it in a skillet or straight over the coals probably the skillet and then i'm going to put in the dutch oven with a thermometer just to bring it up to temperature time to take them off i'm just going to drizzle a little oil on here get that nicely coated and on with the salt a little pepper same for this side [Applause] and the pepper got the skillet heating up and i'm just going to start heating some oil for the chips i'm hopeful this fits in the skillet i take the very end off [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] uh so [Music] [Music] so [Music] seems i got a little overzealous with the side so i've had to put them on their own plate so okay that is gorgeous just look at it the uh phillips sides a little more done i would like but the way it goes now for one of them chips oh they are good crunchy on the outside soft and fluffy in the middle and i do love a bit of asparagus there's the butter on the asparagus so that was beautiful it was in the dutch oven resting a little longer than i should have because of filming and stuff but it was pretty perfect for me and the fillet side that's going to go perfect in a sandwich for sure i'm stuffed thank you guys for watching if you're interested in these steaks from the steak shop i'll put some links below and remember you've got that code for a discount as well now i've got some beautiful cuts of meat on there so thank you very much to the steak shop thank you guys for watching i'll see you again soon [Music] you
