him some room resets goes with his own his left hook right hand step the punishing son Oscar fine he's really coming through he's firing through his gym and then putting the shots together he's lining up trying to be analytical and then firing on Mayweather already we're seeing some things that have not been evident and then where there's other fights and that he's had to back up and then fight from backing up which is what we came to see yeah and that's very difficult Austin's been successful in them back to you mom don't worry about easing the jab I say just take it and go right afterwards throw the right hand he almost caught him with the right hand that night Mayweather is so so slick though his hands are so fast his defense is so great Austin doing a good job considering the hands-free deployed he's cutting off the ring much better now making Mayweather go side-to-side and he's on him all the time this is the first time that you're seeing Floyd Mayweather have to react to are you gonna be the guys more accurate usually more punches weights usually but remember in professional boxing its how heavy the punches on now there's no question all the statistics of the passe team fights indicate that Oscar throws more but Floyd lands and a higher percentage of race a bunch of soaps and he's throwing 40 he's landed probably 35 punches he's very very accurate now to the judge machine the accuracy of what I call shoeshine punches or the power of what the Hawaii is doing that's a subjective way that they score boxes and round three will be the perfect example everyone will look back but kena Hoya has the crowd into it the way he needs to he's God Floyd Mayweather reacting to him which he also needs to do and Mayweather has to fight instinctively on the defensive and it's it's a treat to have to see him do this the golden boy on the assault in the red trunks Floyd in the colors of the Mexican flag to surprise everybody then sick of the mile for what a dream that he'd come out with the Mexican colors and the WBC logo which is based in Mexico City under the tutelage of president Superman and his son Mauricio Suleiman this is round number four schedule of course 4:12 Mayweather is he doing enough he's accurate with the punches he throws Oscar continues to pressure this is a ring being cut off by delahoy you see the left hook by Mayweather than Oscar De La Hoya is on him whether these legs allowed or not he's firing that book Mayweather's just smiles at him it takes a wagon upon the inside that he says come on in here Oscar's not not intimidated by fourth round though and the judges seeing that seven or eight punches to the body the ones that I hated about difference and oh gosh come on the run what about you babe yeah and I'm willing to mark that down there may be a split it was that close because they were that came back they look at this we may think that this goes up both ways in the Christ all right so perhaps I'm one of the two of the judges with the other way remember the judges techcamp atomic as american jarir our dreams very very experienced judges tommy tez merrick wrote the book watch the left hook see it here he comes ball one and you know these actually do count on there even if they're getting to look at there he's being tied up in seven shots in a row and you know what this is what can give you around that sequence right there I counted him Dave while you were talking to when nine in a row right you know right on top of that rib with this guy don't forget this probably a ten pound difference of weight at this particular day there was 12 pounds don't weigh in but you know Oscar would put on five to six or seven pounds overnight where Floyd would probably put on four so they could be as much as a 10 to 12 pound difference and those body shots as we get through five six seven eight nine making into take a toll it's too early to be predicting ended up it really hasn't opened up t he hasn't been offensive minded yet powershots 33 to 29 inflate in favor of Mayweather through the floor round so they were able to load up in equal measure as we get into the second third of the fight see that allowance punches there those hooks have being blocked in the back of the gloves and I don't know the guys the company bucks going that as it has a head or a score or what but those are being blocked the judges don't count that right now watch the name where the hook when he been able to walk through guys they'll throw the hook and then a follow up with the right hands here when he throws the hook that Ahura cuts off the wing and comes back at him the good series of punches nothing really landed Mayweather is so slick defensively this kid and presses me so much he is a terrific terrific vital much as the right-hand lead Oscar a little bit squared up but he's in that position folks because he doesn't want this guy to run he wants them engaged in the seven of the Ring if he 10 Boyd's having his best round since the first round by the way here his punch up last a nice right hand good left hook Oscar taking a few shots in this fits round with some very good round tobei whether oh he really want us to coming in he kitakata vertical I don't think he's got the power to drop it [Applause] but he's ready to get his attention with that right hand nice fast-paced of his fight this is a terrific round for Mayweather if Oscar did in fact get it two three and four in the judges score team he's not getting this round as the right-hand lead Oscar's not putting the pressure on it as much as he was now he tries it goes to the body back upstairs chopping right hand not him again it was asked by del Hoyo yeah yeah does it even up the round right back and Floyd Brooke right hand [Music] well this is a really really good fight it's really interesting seesaw back and forth two tremendous athletes Austin doesn't have the hand speed but he has the power trilled again now based on heavy balls this time this rod is definitely in my opinion with 10 seconds to go Mayweather round which makes it almost dead even the fight you get beat to the punch right now that's the bay with around boy this is getting more interesting and as the moments go by well it grows in dimension we saw Oscar De La Hoya put pressure on which is what we wanted to see boy the reactor at Floyd Mayweather reacted in the last round I will see will ask a devil how it does in return solicitor Freddie so a little cup right up right I this guy's unlike notice he's not even humping and bumping not even breathing out this guy's a machine he being as I envy you okay well Mayweather more than doubling Oscar De La Hoya in the power department and here's a good example that's a great shot right near the temple area and delahoy it will come back on them comes through here takes one as he was trying to throw a left hook Mayweather backing up and look at it how it comes to well this is the area of growth we were looking to see from Floyd Mayweather he passes that test let's see now what happens this fight is almost dead even that's too close to call after five Boyd has picked up the pace in the last couple of rounds ever since that series of shots of the body a couple of rounds ago it sort of got an adrenaline flow going before he may weather nice uppercut snaps the head of Oscar Austin continues to come forward but he better be throwing you know he cancels that kill zone where he can be taunted we talk about that you got a throat she can hit that time without slowing this guy is so quick and so defensive when he can man in the shots if you're not throw Mayweather has adjusted to delahoy yet coming in arm and he's firing off first even as De La Hoya is attacking them so now Delhi has to somehow get through without getting hit he should goes try to maximize right there well those body shots be considering that they both have six pack abs it's going to take a while before those body shots they get any effect they're in too good a shape both of these guys from body shots at this stage of the fight to be making any toll sometimes if you're not quite in the kind of shape that they're in it'll take a big toll on you the bow rasca I'm going head on right now De La Hoya is saying it Mayweather has all the momentum here to take it away he has to start getting off first load up the right hand just as he did at this point of the fight against Gaddy and against other guys he is starting to feel it with the right hand he's trying to put more into his right hand and so now missus in the penalty will be bigger on the inside because Mayweather is long lining up that right hand hospital he got there first that time in a nice right hand but didn't take any steam out of the legs of Mayweather they're both in such magnificent shape what kind of sledgehammer shot is it going to take for to really take a toll it's going to have to be an accumulation of punches and Austin does have a tendency and later on sometimes to wilt but Willie against this guy whoever the pace of his fight folks this is very very fast Oscar's you know four years older been in a lot of tough fight Mayweather this is his biggest stage ever and he's performing admirably I think he's winning this sixth round this is the most he's ever been hit and he's still standing up well coming counter puncher with the speed and the guy was a little bit more power out of the judges way the close round where one guys get a little bit more power but the punch stats don't seem to add up with what I'm seeing no well they're giving you numbers date they will not give you intensity and that's what is going to decide this so yeah de la hoya is firing much more the punches landed are about the same but if that's the way it ends up the edge usually goes to desire that throws more well Oscar as I said in his last 18 fights has been averaging 50 punches around and they were his last 80 fights but they were the waves go instead of sliding down the rope and getting out of it his cockiness is not the best way to fight this guy yeah you know we were used to seeing him on the outside dictating the pace here he has to react that you knew that if delahoy could get him into that position it will be a negative that he would have to overcome and he's battling with that now Oscar again he's making a mistake of alone and becoming the kill zone without drawing I know he wants to counter me catch him coming in with me to the left hook or a straight right hand but and that's possibly lock those those punches are all partially blocked they look good from afar but up here they're not that good and nothing wrong with jabbing your way and you can still try to counter the guy get the jab in first establish position and then try to go from there because to take a chance to took block Mayweather's right hand as you're getting tired is a low percentage movement the fight goes along yeah we're the eighth round now and remember Oscar does have a history of getting tired sometimes in the late round I don't believe that's going to happen tonight because he's in the best shape I've ever don't be surprised at my speed is a little you know it's gonna offset him too and and it did I mean I I hurt him with a few punches that he I know he felt then looked into the future for us do you feel you perform well enough that there really is no reason you should retire from the point of view of your ability to fight whatever the other factors are in your decision well yes I gotta go back go back to the drawing board watch the fight and see how my movements were see how my timing was to see how my body feels just analyze the whole situation and then the other side but I mean obviously this is the game I love this is a fight game that brought me here so the two things you said here about how much you love boxing and you're gonna go look at the tape even though you know in your heart Dela Hoya showed great defense at certain points of the fight and he gave Floyd fits with his jab early on even when he was two fights away from retirement. Prime Oscar gives Floyd hell at any weightclass, don't @me.
