[Music] um and then i'll make myself some pancakes i would do the same thing what is up youtube welcome back to success from the olympia we're bored today don't know what the [ __ ] we're gonna do so i'll be filming a q a that i was supposed to do last week that we completely disregarded first things first though i woke up and my instagram was verified i'm officially an official instagram influencer so pretty good day i can die happy now great success but finishing up my cardio right now we're gonna kind of go through the day and do like two one to two questions at a time doing random [ __ ] and yeah this one's from rj underscore callahan he said what is your first i should have prepared what is your first meal going to be post show after you take your second classic mithril title first meal i never really know what the [ __ ] i'm gonna get but i've been craving sandwiches a lot like a really good like big sub deli type sandwich maybe a panini or something like that for some reason i've been craving that a lot patent like tacos so maybe some [ __ ] like that and then we're probably going to go around see what ian wants he's competing to obviously whatever anyone's input is we'll go for that or whatever the hell's open when we finish the show it will depend next question is would you say you improved your arms best or your back in back back back the back shot like the back double will be a more improved pose than like any but like your back double and your front double and like they all incorporate your arms but the back double shot will be the most improved yeah because of the background most drastic change will be my back from the back double yes more so than my arms from the front double yes yes but if you're gonna just like nitpick what might have improved more like if you're like getting at the measuring tape maybe your arms but i don't know they both improved a lot so it's hard to say yeah there's your kind of answer i'll do one more question here and then we'll move on somewhere else when do when do you decide to have a low calorie day and a high calorie day i don't ian does and i've had two high days i've had 23 in a 14 week prep yeah so yeah i don't said he does and i don't i really get them time for the ice bath this was a mission to get all these bags and fit them in the fridge at the end of the night so better be cold enough [Applause] all right kids here we go there's a lot more hardcore with actual ice people would ask me how much ice to do i really don't know but i don't have my clothes at home but this is a total of 60 pounds of ice does that make sense wait well it's only good for one what there's only different one top [Applause] it's always the worst part it's gonna overflow i'm gonna get my legs in here [Applause] yeah this is a little baby it's just small tough i feel like a giant in a little tub like i'm living in a house for ants i understand bend your knees i want it for my legs anyways being in like florida humid heat coming from dry canada cold your body naturally dampens the climate just retains more water especially for me my lower body so this is my kind of a health attempt to bring some of the inflammation i've already been flushing it out pretty good naturally this is also naturally but yeah so i feel like it's always colder when it's like just above in the water oh yeah when it hits your chest it definitely gets cold legs are easy to handle so being a bit of a [ __ ] right now but this was this i'm gonna fire up the next question if i can find them on my phone all right next question from colin ravier ravioli ravio i don't know he said how many calories were you eating as a teenager and were they clean calories i was eating a lot of calories i don't know how much probably 4 500. at one point i remember in high school i was talking about this i'd have like eight hard-boiled eggs in the morning and like six pieces of toast covered in peanut butter and then i'd bring like two chicken rice meals to school i'd have looked pretty much lasagna every day or my mom would like make meatloaf or something i'd have these like meat and mass shakes that were like 1200 calories and i would drink homogenized milk which is 3.25 milk and i was like a savage eating just like nasty [ __ ] like that so i was eating a lot of the kid and i was like probably 220 pounds at the end of high school grade 12 training since grade nine or 10-ish like weight training and eating pretty good so i ate a lot don't know exactly how much how important is getting enough sleep for weight loss in general and for you now during prep i'm like [ __ ] such a big believer in sleep being extremely important and i didn't really realize i was like that but even in prep if i'm like up in the middle and i am with some people like go to cardio i'm gonna do a pose and blah blah like i will force myself to go back to bed and make sure i get like eight hours of sleep because i think sleep is so crucial if your body's in like a state of stress and it's not getting in the breast and relaxation and all the hormones you release when you're in a deep sleep that digestion you get that period of a catabolic safe no food in you for that extended time i think it's just so crucial for all functions of your body work properly so whether you're trying to put on weight something i've told actually a lot it's off season because he didn't sleep a lot oh they grow you're bulking you're eating a lot you're trying to grow you need even more sleep eight hours plus a nap a day and train your ass off for two hours in the gym and you're doing good so sleep very important heinz or french's ketchup 100 heinz ketchup heinz ketchup but french is mustard remember that how important is visualization and meditation for you this is something i've only started doing in like the last eight six to eight months or so since the summer and i think it's helped me i can't even like put on a scale how much time it's helped me so much keeping my mind calm when i need it and just being more present in moments i notice i can just like fly by things feel stressed and be stressed and be like okay just like who cares just feel fresh but do what you got to do i'm taking a breath and like having those times of meditation visualization to like be present and like be like there's nothing stressed about you should be enjoying this journey this is your choice all that [ __ ] i think it's super important and specific visualization towards something i'm doing like stepping on stage posing that's something where i have to find out next saturday when i get on stage after i've visualized this so many times throughout days and nights throughout this prep i've seen myself do it and i'm gonna do it for real next week so we'll see just how important it is next week so so it's not so fresh driving a race car when you're over the back wheels if the rear wheel drive i'll close the doors holy hell oh yep i feel like i'm one week out that's pretty i'm sure exactly how we should feel though ugh it's not a pillow boy anymore what we don't have a pillow boy anymore boy yeah what's that mean matt where's your pillow boy the pillow boy just last year he carried your pillow around did he it's pretty beauty matt we miss you very sad maddie milkshake couldn't make it but we'll be seeing him soon enough all right so we're heading to the gym quickly gonna answer those more questions let's see where was i do you get nervous before getting on stage nerves how do you deal with them i'm not sure what's gonna happen this year but up until last year i still had nerves yet last year but they were like much less i'm someone who hates presenting and being in front of big crowds and i get like heart pounding lose my breath and it's hard for me to focus and when i'm out there it takes me a while to relax i definitely do get nervous but last year the week leaving up i had a really good like mental week and everything and i was pretty like fired up and i was able to calm those nerves through like listening to music i would listen to the book called relentless by tim grover and it's just like getting in the zone trying to like be like focus as [ __ ] and just like amping myself up in my mind separating myself from everyone getting off instagram not [ __ ] worrying about anything other than just trusting myself and that helped a lot this year i feel just like more confident than i ever have and i've practiced my posing more than i have so i think it's going to be a lot there's still going to be nerves waiting but i think before sitting on stage i'm going to feel the most peace and confidence i've ever felt so i'm excited to see how my body mind reacts have you and ian ever been in a fist fight i wanted to pick this one but we haven't been in the fifth place there was one time back like the first or second year milton ian met we went to a bar and got really [ __ ] up and he doesn't drink that he doesn't drink ever anymore but he was like wasted the other night like dad and i was in his ear like whispering things i was like yeah and like going back and forth in the end of night when you're just like at the counter of his house just like dead and then i was like joking with him i put him in a headlock and we kind of [ __ ] around he like shoved me and then i like ran like put him in a headlock and i was blasted wasted in my mind too and he like got actually angry because he was so tired and i was laughing my sister was laughing and i remember he just like took me and like threw me over put me on the ground and put me in a headlock and i was just like drunk just like done like out of commission and he just put me out so it was pretty [ __ ] funny what i would do for a video of that it was hilarious but not a fist fight but i think that's the only time we've ever like gotten in like a physical tough tefl ruffle whatever altercation all right so i picked this one because it's food related it's cookies waffles muffins pancakes rank them best to worst this is really difficult i wish i didn't pick it now because i have no idea i want to put pancakes at the top because i know courtney can make them super healthy and i like eating healthy good food now there's so much variation you can do with peanut butter fruit just maple syrup i couldn't think of maple syrup well i can't talk so they're up there and then probably muffins are going to be next i have this weird love for muffins they like that they're like thick rather than cookies they're thin but they're really close with cookies really close i like muffins like being thick and warm and like oatmeal muffins also courtney makes healthy ones with those and i just i like healthier food right now next would probably be cookies because contrast all that stuff i like crispy cookies that are almost overcooked sometimes like the holiday special pillsbury cookies are amazing with sugar cookies crispy cookies are just [ __ ] good again oatmeal cookies are my go-to and then waffles are going to be last because i don't really know who the [ __ ] eats waffles ever well they're obviously amazing i love waffles but they're just like it was a waffle maker i just i never eat them so i'm gonna probably get roasted for this and i would regret almost saying i'm confident in this but pancakes muffins cookies waffles in that order all right so we just wrapped up worked out at the gym did a little bit of help shoulder to chest almost forgot but we're gonna move on to the questions first question of this section what is the hardest part of the final weeks before show for you this changes every year depending on what's going on this year it's honestly been the excitement i'm really [ __ ] excited to get up there and i feel like i'm going to be ready for sure and i just want to like showcase it and be there so that's kind of like that impatience is getting to me but also the subtle thing that's been difficult this year is coveted to be completely honest it's like part of me is like just like [ __ ] you got sick before that would suck but i don't even want to put that in the universe but it's it's there a little bit but it's not going to happen so [ __ ] it did i even say that but yeah that's probably it for that next question do you keep up with other athletes or brian keep up with brienne's physique update or other athletes and how close do you think it will be this year this is or the first year that i haven't kept up with [ __ ] anybody i muted everyone i follow and i just don't really go through my feed and i don't see anyone i get technician i just don't click it i really haven't been and sometimes i'll like screenshot myself and compare it literally collage it besides someone else like hitting the same pose last year i did that and i just didn't do that this year focused on myself and just said [ __ ] you to everybody and didn't look at it and it's kind of kept my mind at ease it kept me really focused on just myself and knowing if i show up at my best that's all that [ __ ] matters so that's the goal haven't compared or kept up with anybody this year and honestly it feels really good so if you can avoid it if you're competing do it it's my first year doing it and it feels great all right so end the day headed to bed now we're gonna wrap it up with three more questions and continue this tomorrow because we got some good questions coming in first question today tonight is a doozy said would you rather your girl sound like a zombie during sex or sound like your dad i would say without a doubt a zombie sherry's having a laughing zombie over there oh my god definitely don't sound like my dad at least but i would definitely go with zombie because i don't want to be thinking of my dad during doing the dirty that's just no no no no no all right all right next question first thing you would do after winning this year's olympia first thing i'm going to do my favorite thing to do is i come outside and after i have a little cry to myself i get to see courtney i get to see my parents melissa ian calvin maddie if he makes it probably not i don't know but i get to see like the crew my squad my family my loved ones get to come out and just like hug them and like share this moment of all this [ __ ] they've seen me go through all the [ __ ] and just kind of like have that experience with them every single year something i remember and cherish every time i get off stage so probably what i'm looking forward to the most tips on aspiring olympian athletes i think he means people who want to go to olympia my tip would be to take it easy and start small don't start your journey trying to be mr olympia i did not want to be mr olympia until i came second at the olympia and i was like oh [ __ ] maybe i can misspell to you have your goals set them small see what's right in front of you otherwise it's going to feel overwhelming and you're going to give up and it's just going to feel too difficult so if you're never competing before make your goal to compete or to work out or to put on some muscle or whatever the hell your goal is if you've been competing for a while make your pro goalie get your pro card and slowly work your way up the ladder and don't just be someone who's never competed and think i'm gonna i want to be mr olympia next tomorrow next year because it's not that easy so small goals small steps get your fire all right that's it for tonight it's late i'm tired go to bed see for my press conference and i just didn't save enough questions so now we're putting the pressure on melissa to wrap up this video and make the last few questions would you rather never drink any get to never drink any water ever again or only be able to drink water ever again only build your water again really easy and drink nothing else nothing else yeah pretty much all i drink when i'm not in prep i'll don't drink anything else ever unless i'm drinking and that's pretty rare i could go with a drinking alcohol what would you do i don't know because i'm [ __ ] addicted to coffee but i also like drink so much water yeah that means you have to let go of pre-workout and salt too i just take it easily caffeine pills with water yeah that was a bad question for me would you rather be able to speak every single human language in the entire world or be able to communicate with animals i'm trying to think very practically on this like in my head i'm like every language and [ __ ] for like business opportunities and like [ __ ] like that but like if i could talk to animals i could just create my own business opportunity of like like a [ __ ] my youtube channel imagine if i could communicate with animals on my youtube channel and like train them to do crazy [ __ ] and stuff i feel like that'd be and i'd be the only one in the world in the universe the world aliens included so probably animals can they talk back to me like i can understand them and i can speak their language yeah oh my god what poppy would think or doug doug would think nothing that would have been doug would literally think nothing and then he'd look at you and be like oh hi i like you poppy would think that we're all [ __ ] idiots probably [ __ ] off with you you're done do what i want bow down to me now basically she'd be looking at her plate of food like hand feed me what are you waiting for and b would just like want like be like i want to do this oh [ __ ] this dog [ __ ] this dog and then she's like oh my god i'm sorry mom i'm sorry mom i'm sorry i'm sorry about me hold me feed me i'm hungry feed me all the dogs i'm hungry yeah are you eating yeah okay what how long are you gonna be i just finished okay why i'll just get ready to take my picture so we can get down or you can yell a question down if you have a question i don't have a question yeah i forgot to save enough would you rather not shower for a week or not brush your teeth for a week yeah but that would start feeling pretty [ __ ] nasty yeah like if i'm working out every day yeah then yeah definitely really yeah but i also don't really get like danky like you guys yeah you're not really sneaky richest person in the world or the smartest person in the world smartest if you're the smartest you just figure out a way to get rich anyway so who cares he's the richest yeah but if i keep that money but like also people who are that smart always are like you know you lose something like you can't connect with other people you it's hard to socialize and you just like it's like you belittle everyone because you're too smart and if they don't know something you're just like are you dumb like i know everything and you don't even know that i don't think i've become that but a lot of smart really smart people are just socially awkward because they're just they know too much yeah but don't you think they might have like high intelligence but like their emotional intelligence is then stupid maybe yeah that's true i don't know what's going on with brains you'd have a lot going on with your brain if you're the smartest person in the world oh would you rather live a peaceful existence where you had to worry where you never had to worry about the troubles of life or live a more normal life full of risk and challenge risking challenge i feel like it'd be nice to feel like peaceful all the time but you wouldn't understand what peaceful meant after a while you wouldn't you wouldn't be able to enjoy it that's like saying if there was no sadness in this world at all you know no one would also be happy would all just be like neutral without hiding again yeah i guess if you never had a single stress how would you even know you would like what piece is you would just be blah you'd be like a blob yeah yin yang of the universe we need balance all right so that was our improvisation very on the spot mostly i think pulled up some questions would you rather random [ __ ] on our laptop and just just a little nice little switch up to the little q a that we threw in there at the end getting a little poochy late at night 9 30. it's tuesday monday monday monday one day a few more workouts a few more days and then it's all going down so we'll be documenting everything that i'm willing to document if i'm getting more lazy to be on camera but until then i'm playing some zelda i'll see you guys in the next video you
