From Rejection to Rejoicing, Part 2

hello you wonderful people of God I'm so glad you with me I'm sorry we're just a little bit late because we had some technical situation here but finally I think they solved it but I'm very glad were together today again and this is going to be another very important session with you about rejection - rejoicing but I want to say my hellos first to you wonderful people and partners thank you for friends and tell them I'm dealing with a very important subject one of the deepest wounds of the human heart is rejection and how to be healed and the answer is all in the Bible so I'm hoping many of people today that they will receive your word and Lord bring healing to their hearts and lives in Jesus mighty name and God's people said amen now I want to remind you this Friday at 4 p.m. East Coast time in the US I'm gonna have a healing service from a studio here in Cali I saw Florida I mean for all its sorry and we're gonna have some blessed worship and God is gonna do some other things and then we're gonna pray for America that God will bring healing to our nation because of all the turmoil going on right now that God will bring peace to the hearts of his people here and show his power and his love so that's on Friday so please join me but I will be praying for you for your healing and I'm gonna and I'm gonna focus on the healing of broken hearts because that is what I've been talking about and then of course I'm yes I would be praying for those who are sick physically too now rejection one of the deepest wounds of the heart probably their deepest root of the heart and rejection begins in childhood there's many forms and how it comes it comes foremost from parents parents can injure children way more than anyone else if the child feels not loved if the child feels not wanted or abandoned if someone else raises them rather than the parents it it will cause a rejection if there's no affection it causes rejection if there's a lot of fighting in the home it'll cause a rejection and the children because they blame themselves and then if there's no father around that's one of the biggest if I can say causes of rejection in the human heart because fathers bring healing their very presence is healing to a child I remember what God said in his word that he will bring the father's back to the children so the Bible is clear on the fact that only God Himself can heal the human heart so we cannot protect ourselves from being rejected I've had a - I think everyone that I'm talking to us had some form of rejection in your life and that's why we are who we are that's how that's why we we see ourselves in the way we see ourselves because of rejection so there are six needs that must be met in our life and I'd like you to write them down because they're very important these six needs if once met we have a whole life in other words our life is hold if one of them is lacking rejection is immediate so number one love love is the most powerful force on earth number two security we all need to feel secure that's why people buy insurance all the time so security is the second most important need in the human heart love is number one security is number two belonging to a family and so forth the recognition is number three no one wants to be ignored we all want to be recognized for who we are for our talents for our gifts for our strengths and so forth so recognition is very very important that's the third in line love security recognition in their order now number four self-esteem our importance so if if people feel unimportant then rejection will follow so it's love security recognition self esteem in there order number five expression talking expressing ourselves telling someone how we feel getting our hurts out is healing if we cannot talk about it it begins to tear us up on the inside and that is a rejection a plain and simple and then finally new experiences new experiences are very important to us because if you do the same thing over and over and over in life things get boring and again I want to welcome all of you who are joining me right now some of you are still coming on so thank you but I wanted to begin early with my teaching because I think there's so much I want to say today and I think we need to hear it so the six needs in your life are and the please make sure to write them down love number one they took a monkey and put the monkey away from its family in a cage within a few weeks the monkey died if a monkey would die without love imagine us human beings so we all need love every one of us it doesn't matter who we are from what race what color what nationality everyone needs love love the absence of love will destroy people security what we that's why we need families the breaking down of families today is the horrible in the world so it's taken away that security a feeling I belong number three recognition people today are being ignored that's why I see homeless people today on the street because they they lack something in their life and in their upbringing recognition is a powerful force that's why we all love our names we're in the mall somebody says our name but they'll call it somebody else what do we do we turn around because we think they're calling us and they're calling somebody else we love our name and we and if we don't like our names we change our names so something to that is really important to us to be recognized for our abilities or gifts that's why people like that was oh you look great today recognition self-esteem how important are you you're very important on the Lord but you and I want to be important to our families to our friends and not be ignored number five expression we need to talk about the way we feel if we don't it causes pain and new experience now let me go on if any of these are lacking and I think every human being is lacking some maybe all maybe most I was talking to a lady yesterday talking to us about her grandson who is desperate for her for help and when I told her that that list she says he's lacking every one of them and that's why people commit suicide anyways Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted remember Luke 4:18 he came to preach the gospel to the poor and the second thing is to heal the brokenhearted in other words healing broken hearts in the start of God is the next most important thing to the gospel so think about the death of Jesus the Son of God brought salvation the next thing that is important to God is the healing of a human heart human life because he put it in their order in Luke 4:18 I came to preach the gospel and to heal broken hearts it's in the world so rejection is a very important matter to God what did Jesus take upon himself our rejection isaiah 53:3 he was despised of men and rejected it says in the Word of God so the son of God himself understands rejection he's the only one who can heal rejection he took our rejection the the secret for healing is to have an exchange with the son of God what we give him the rejection he took on our behalf and receive his acceptance because the Bible says were accepted in beloved but let's just go on again rejection is devastating a broken spirit it says in the Word of God who can who can bear nobody can so it's very important to understand the key to rejection is give that rejection to Jesus who took it because he was rejected for us he was rejected for us and I'll show you some amazing scriptures that a lot of people ignore but we are accepted in the beloved meaning that God accepted him and in him were accepted so because he's accepted were accepted so what happened on the cross is Jesus took our rejection we take his acceptance we will be healed if we read Ephesians chapter 1 that God chose us before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him in love and then it says in verse 6 accepted in the beloved when that word becomes real in your life you'll be loved all rejection look I had rejection I grew up in a beautiful home in Israel I had probably one or one of the most beautiful childhood you know well any ways that I can talk about because mama and my dad had a what I would say a perfect marriage it was in a perfect world in a perfect life but it was as close to perfection in marriage as I could know as I could remember I don't ever remember my mom and my dad even ever fighting no arguments nobody ever raised his voice it was pure love but after I got saved the problems began with me and my dad my dad won't even talk to me for three years the same man who raised me up with such love rejected me when I got older because I accepted Jesus and he could not understand how he his son would be in church now every night then he took me to a psychiatrist and thought I'd lost my mind now I'll never forget the time when he said to me he said out of all my kids you'll never make it he said that to me it's like what like a sword went in my soul now my daddy was saved before he went to heaven he passed away when he was 58 years old because he smoked all of his life and dad was lung cancer but I'll never forget when God healed our relationship what a blessed day that was but still I experienced rejection because of things that happen with our family but listen to me when I began to walk with the Lord and met the Holy Spirit my heart was he I walked down the stairs one day you've got to hear this chair after the Holy Ghost which visited my life my father still was not in the Lord and not sanctified at all I'm walking down the stairs and he starts cussing me I mean like bad okay and the peace of God was all over me I was smiling and I'm looking at him coming down the stairs and hate was coming Erebus off his face and the most horrible words out of his mouth against me and such peace came into my soul such love for him came into my being I stood there and I smiled I smiled with joy just loving him with the love of Jesus in in he got even angrier when I smiled because he thought I would say something and all I did is smile and just my and loved him he couldn't understand that but later he got saved and I never forget when my day there was a wonderful man named Jim pointer who became my father you know because I didn't have a father in those days my dad won't even talk to me when I got saved and for three years at the earth sweet man a saint of God named Jim Porter I would go to his home to eat because eating at home was a terrible experience my family won't even look at me worried we would eat dinner and nobody was allowed to talk to me my brothers and sisters and we all ate together you know that's our culture and dear Jim when my father got saved you looked at Jim one day and I broke up and cried he said Jim I thank you for being a father to my son when I could not be one so healing always comes but it's Jesus that did it not my dad now listen here the word accepted in the beloved means highly favored I want you to say I want you to say I'm highly favored would you please say it right now I'm highly favored write it down send me a comment that says it I am highly favored the word accepted in the beloved from Ephesians one is the word hurry to in Greek it means highly favored that's what the angel said to Mary remember he said you are highly favored and so are we now rejection also comes from people that we respect and look up to like teachers people we are no friends we have them in our life words you know have life and death in them so and I just want to cover this because I think it's important to know it's not just mom and dad it's not just family rejection comes from our friends it it it also comes when when when people you know are mistreated by friends when people are betrayed by friends when people are ridiculed by friends before the way they look and the way they talk and this and this and that that brings rejection I had a stuttering problem when I was a kid the kids in class would laugh at me what do you what do you think that did to me it tore me up it was a crippling thing on the inside of me but God healed me when I was saved old things are passed away and I'll never forget going to my school again in Israel after I was in the ministry and mom my brother Chris is walking around he he was an exactly the same to think about at that time he's crying saying doesn't this do anything for you I said does nothing for me I don't even remember those days I said that that was a different day and a different been again this been him is healed and whole that Benny Hinn was wounded by those kids who laughed at me because I used to stutter everything is healed in Jesus and I want you to be healed and this Friday this Friday God is and he'll you do you know since I got saved I've never had one day of depression before God Almighty I've never had one day of depression since I was saved a glorious day February 14 1972 at 8:50 750 in the morning in in school and my wife says well don't say that people can't identify her honey they need to know that it really is real that there is no depression in Jesus there's joy not depression that's why I'm talking about this now rejection comes because of someone growing up in a divorced family divorce can cause rejection because children playing blame themselves the failure now let me talk about to you the absence of a father that's very very critical when there's no father in the picture there's great devastation in a family and so you are watching me or single mothers Jesus is your answer Jesus is the solution for your kids in their healing and your healing - when a dad is not in the home when when the children miss that touch and affection is very important I think our rulers were a little crazy other about touch touch from family is healing healing when a dad or a mom hold a baby in their in their arm they give that baby security and recognition a whole lot more he grows up to be balanced she grows up to be balanced do you know that when a father holds his son he pours into masculine cells so that boy becomes a man and when his mom hugs him he she pulls in him feminine cells so he becomes a gentle man did you hear that so when a daddy hugs his little boy He pours into him masculine cells so he becomes a man when he when the mom holds the little boy he becomes gentle because she pours into feminine cells with the girl watch this is amazing when the dere hugs a girl he pours into her feminine cells and when a mom hug her she pours into your masculine cells it's the opposite so when you take the father out what do you have I think you you just said equal this okay because I can tell you what that's why you have a lot of of kids today man who you know messed up in some way or another because they lack the touch they like the touch of a father and same with women so we need a father and only Jesus only Jesus can heal that broken life and only our Heavenly Father can heal us it says in the word when your father and mother for Sookie the Lord Kurian malbok alarm a trochee albicante manor when your mom and my when your father and mother rejects you it's then that God receives you it's in the Psalms okay when my father and my mother for shook me the Lord took me in it says so our healing is found not on our family our healing is found not on our friends our really is foundering our brothers and sisters or anyone else it's found in Jesus you're looking at a guy right here that was healed in the 70s I was one of the most wounded people you'd ever meet in your life because of my stuttering okay but when God healed me oh I was the guy known it's the it's it's the guy who's always smiling in church that was me when I used to be with Catholic women's ministry and he says are you Benny I said yes she said I knew you because they told me the guy who's always smiling is Benny because I was always a joy sing yay hallelujah okay now I want to talk about something that is very important then we're gonna deal with the restoration rejection causes loneliness please remember this I told you yesterday rejection causes loneliness loneliness causes self-pity self-pity causes misery misery causes depression depression would cause despair and despair will cause suicide that's why many are killing themselves and the majority are young people may I please repeat that one more time so you can write it down rejection the rejection produces loneliness loneliness produces self-pity oh poor me self-pity produces misery misery produces depression depression produces despair and despair kills it brings suicide that's why today there are so many young people killing themselves the the numbers of suicide in this country called the United State of America is frightening and staggering and it's mostly the youth the reason for it you got it rejection so what is the response the gospel now hear me well because I'm going to begin talking today and continue tomorrow on the response the what happens what what do we do to bring healing the gospel is founded on three facts number one Jesus died for our sin number two Jesus was buried number three Jesus rose again on the third day say why are you sorry Thomas because in the gospel is fan or healing these are facts these are facts I want to repeat that one more time because that's the foundation of your healing from rejection that you have to believe number one you have to believe not feel it believe it that Jesus died for your sin Jesus died for your rejection Jesus died for everything you've done and everything you've gone through he took it upon himself that's the one number one fact of the gospel number two fact Jesus was buried went into the underworld so we don't have to number three he rose again from the dead on the third day that means he won that means he won the resurrection speaks of victory without the resurrection there is no deliverance from anything there is no Christianity there's no life eternal when Jesus rose from the dead it guarantees eternal life and healing forever forever now these are facts when we live in fact we live in faith faith comes because of fact not because of feeling you know why a lot of people today are not able to get healed because the gospel to them is not a fact it's a feeling it's what they heard from mom dad preacher pastor somebody on TV they've never experienced the gospel they've never had a face-to-face experience face to face encounter with the son of Almighty God they've never had an exchange of lives salvation is not a prayer salvation is giving Jesus my life with all the mess in it and taking his life with all the beauty in it yeah you got it when I was saved I was healed my healing didn't happen the day after it happened the day I got saved the minute I got saved I was healed of all rejection I was healed of all my pain all the things that happened to me as a child all the rejection from the kids in school because I experienced all things are passed away and I'm really new in Jesus now the minute we live with the facts and we're living by faith not by feeling God Almighty through the cross gave us one all-inclusive solution one all-inclusive miracle and healing that covers every need in my life in your life the sacrifice of a son on the cross all our sins and all our needs and all our pains and all our death and all our rejections Jesus took and in return he gives us the benefits of the cross bless the Lord O my soul and all that's within me bless His name who forgives all iniquities and heals all your diseases the benefits are listed in someone or three you've read them it renews your youth like the Eagle dear Lord keep on going that man of some 103 it's not rejected it doesn't know what what a broken heart is yeah now the great exchange let's look at it because I want you to get this and don't you walk out on me and don't you leave me right now Galatians chapter 3 look what it is now Galatians 3:13 you should all know it but it's good to read it Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law which includes rejection made being made a curse for us think about that what is rejection what is suicide what's all those things I read earlier that are part of the curse come on rejection a part of the curse loneliness a part of the curse self-pity curse misery curse depression curse despair curse suicide a part of that of the curse Jesus took that curse on himself hallelujah now listen it is written cursed is everyone that hangs on the tree that the blessing that the blessing of Abraham might come on us through Jesus you got it it does not come outside of him through Jesus so Jesus received the blessings of Abraham and through him we receive the same blessings through faith now the minute I give him my curse he gives me what his blessings what else pay attention now second Corinthians second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21 you all know this but that's really it he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made what the righteousness of God in him so when I give him my sin what do I get back righteousness how about second Corinthians chapter 8 verse 9 second Corinthians chapter 8 verse 9 says for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich yet for our sakes he became poor that through his poverty we might be rich and that's not all burn money by the way all our people use this for money I think it really kind of gets me upset when they do that this talks about rich in the Lord the richest men without Jesus is poor and the poorest man with Jesus is rich rich in spirit rich with joy rich with peace rich in the Holy Ghost rich with God's blessed power and presence in that men's and womans life rich so what do we what do we give him we give him our poverty our our miserable life he gives us back his wealth and riches hallelujah and then Hebrews 2 verse 9 oh I love that beautiful you know I'm enjoying this more than you are by the way Hebrews 2 verse 9 I think nobody enjoys the Bible more than me more than me but we seek Jesus who was made a little lower than the Angels for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man give him my death I get what is life the great exchange is this we give him our curse he gives us his blessing we'll give him his sin he gives us his righteousness we'll give him his our poverty he gives us his wealth we give him our death and we receive his life and when we give him our rejection he gives us his acceptance he in in in Ephesians oh this is so precious hallelujah okay I want to read for you quickly and then we're going to go back but Ephesians 1 and I want to read verse verse 3 to verse 6 because this is powerful blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ according as he hath chosen us in him this will heal if you just believe it chosen us in him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and without blame before him in love having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will to the praise of the glory of His grace dear Lord we're in he half past tense before you were rejected he already accepted you he accepted you before the foundation of the world to the praise of the glory of His grace wherein he hath made us made us means it happened in eternity past or bestowed grace and favour upon us Maris accepted in the beloved oh this is the remedy for all rejection the fact that Jesus took my rejection that I might have his acceptance ephesians but listen to something listen to something that you maybe have never thought about because and i'm gonna close with this and pray for you do you know that in Psalm 69 and verse 20 this will bless you there jerry jesus said on the cross reproach had broken my heart i am full of heaviness i look for some to take pity though there is none and fork for comforters and i found none the heart of jesus was broken that's why he died quickly now look at me all of you do you know that when they came to to the cross when the roman soldiers came they were surprised that he was already dead they broke the legs of the thieves but didn't break his legs because in crucifixion they break their legs to accelerate death when they came to Jesus they finally he had already died so they didn't have to break his legs in a way because his heart was broken therefore Jesus died because of a broken heart it says in the scriptures no reproach broken my heart I am full of heaviness I looked for some to take pity there was none for comforters I found none they gave me gold for my meat and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink now I'm gonna tell you one more thing that you have got to you've got to to think about you know that Jesus was rejected twice on the cross first by his Heavenly Father why would he say my God my God why has thou forsaken me the first time ever in the life of Jesus in all eternity his prayer was not answered he cried my God my God why have you forsaken me or why have you rejected me in Isaiah 53 verse 3 he said he was also rejected of men a man of sorrows acquainted with grief verse 1 my God my God why did you reject me verse 3 i'm rejected of men we always kind of don't pay attention to what it says in isaiah so let's go and look at it okay what does he what does it set what does it say in in Psalm 22 the first thing Jesus said out of his lips my God my God why has thou forsaken me and it's written also in Isaiah that he cried that it's written also in Matthew 27 that he cried that I said didn't say those words exactly but that's exactly what the message is but if you read in Matthew 27 verse 45 he said the first thing he said my God my god the first thing of Psalm 22 my God my God why did you forsake me but isaiah 53:3 rejected of man so Jesus was rejected by his father jesus also was rejected by his people but may I add one more he was rejected by his apostles when they all forsook him so who knows rejection better than the Son of God no one so let's give him our rejection that we might receive his acceptance tomorrow I'm going to continue because tomorrow I'm going to talk how to apply the remedy so what is the remedy Ephesians 1:3 to 6 chosen in him before the foundation of the world accepted in the beloved verse 6 tomorrow I'm going to show you how to apply that I made it to your life and be totally healed Father in Jesus name come on stretch your hands towards me as I'm stretching mine towards you heal everyone watching everyone listening everyone was struggling with some form of rejection maybe a lot of it more Lord you only you know the hearts that have been broken now Lord heal them bring deliverance restoration healing and recovery in Jesus mighty name and Lord led this Friday be a day of deliverance be a day of such wonders and miracles such a day of beauty and comfort in Jesus name the harvest I was in in a home with my dear wife Suzanne one day I went to see her sister Liz and there was a lot of grass growing through the cement I said so look at the glass rolling through and cement said the air looks bad I said soon oh look at the grass growing through the cement she said yeah tell my sister to clean it I said no loop so look at the grass she said what are you trying to say I said look at the seed it's stronger than the cement so the the grass is go through this let's say mint and the Lord spoke to me he said no satanic cement can keep the harvest from coming no satanic cement can ever keep your harvest from coming when you sow seed it will break through rocks and break through cement and will break through all opposition's and we must not faint because it says that you faint not you sow you reap never faint never give up it's God's law honor the Lord with your substance you many and all the first fruits of your increase so shall your barns be filled with plenty and prices will burst out with new wine it says in proverbs chapter 3 so let's do it now alright stretch your hands towards me I'm stretching mine towards you so we can believe that God would bless you with a financial blood blessings and harvest and protect your future from any financial problems in Jesus name Lord as you people give and obey your word and as they sow that seed into your work bless them honor them as they honor you prosper them Lord that's your word and your word says you delight in our prosperity bless your people in Jesus name as they give ah man you can sow
