Frazier, Ali and Foreman On British TV Show Very Funny

[Music] well George yeah you are all sitting down friends was it always the way when you were contenders for that heavyweight championship I didn't think so how would you be friendly with a fellow who knocks you down with a straight right hand and another one who barely miss you with left hook but almost take your neck off Joe Frazier sure did you have a heart each other how's it hugs be friends with a guy who lock you down seven times in the first fight sixth time down in the last fight and every night that you talk of he's here I want to be quiet so you really have to be quiet I think with some fantastic fight that we everything the years I went by and then we could do it all again I would they asked me when Muhammad Ali took the title for me did he hurt me there I am with a big black eye eye swollen up and yes did it hurt no Holly well I think the press did more damage than anything hello you fought these guys Ali and you've got to face us pretty as a picture how'd you keep your boo yeah how do you keep that pretty face now George you're just about to make a comeback but when you were retired from boxing for a bit what did you do in that time well I raised children mostly I tried to return on the farm but all I was raising was dirt so I started raising a lot of children I'm a full time preacher of course tell me how you became a preacher well it was pretty easy I think bless a lot fog was Jimmy young he whipped the devil out of me and then after that you decided to become a preacher take up the ministry well yeah and then that's why the day we travel around the country to appoint people with us other than boxing the champions forever tool is about the world send a video of us Joe Frazier Muhammad Ali and myself Ken annoyed as people other than boxers right so our life stories are compacting it all right and I can't tell you everything nobody oh that's right Joe you also retired 10 years ago but you haven't been away from boxing what do you what do you do well I did made a start back somehow for a guy to draw and my kids didn't like the way hi look out I come out after the draw so they said dad you better hang it up okay so what I did right now I have young man in the gym I'm working with for the newly that's a game coming up I don't know the game so therefore that these young men are working pretty hard my sons and burnt and Tommy these guys are promoters now so if I'm just helping the young man let's say to go to be fine men you know I mean and whatever people like to see me I go around promoting now we promoting champions forever it's just a lot of fun that's all most of us at least people like me who aren't in the boxing fraternity because I'm just not quite big enough most of us think of boxing as the film rocky now was rocky true to life is a lot of that training we think that the film Rocky was based on Joe Frazier's life you see rocky angwa and Muhammad yeah girls and so the recreation of some of the exports they had he's running down the street in Joe Frazier's old neighborhood Joe Frazier actually worked in a butcher shop or me house and I did still he'll come to you for any tips or anything or did he keep away and just what rocky is is pretty clever let's say doing the the second film that he cut he came into Philadelphia matter of fact I think he took you know I never did meet her no he took Muhammad he took on I'd say Larry all these guys the new to Los Angeles for a screen test it wasn't on the basis of a screen test he just had want to learn more about us what's funny was all about his cousin and he took all those pieces that we did on the screen test and he put his friend together right [Applause] yeah Ali you're the greatest how are you the greatest champion in the world that was only publicity there I'm the great just to build the fight I never really believed it you didn't believe it still though I believed it of course he flew already for all all the champions I eat what anybody with that I better get bad your face ha ha ha real close nobody's dead great you beat these two guys you've beat that guy cause those you that you ain't give me this guy's edge to you it's time to make me mad it's all right before like fun but we did it all for my thesis is anybody did if I don't down the line for the men okay do you see Bobby Ellen strong husband you better watch but I'm you here but believe me this if there's anyone that's going to lay claim to the greatest other than Joe Frazier I'd have to put the tag on Mohammad Ali mainly because he whipped me you know you're a huge guy that you seem to be the biggest big one this is a big one isn't it laughing I weren't big enough to keep me up on the canvass now look I just want you three guys to stay here for the moment because I'm going to bring on a man who's been the voice of boxing for over 40 years at the end of a fight he's beaten into the ring only by the towel ladies and gentlemen please welcome Harry carpenter [Applause] target squeeze end of these hunky guys I feel slightly cool now Harry do these guys bring back fond memories of course they do you are surrounded by the three great heavyweight champions of my time without I mean the seventh is these were the men and they had the greatest fighter I've ever seen you've been doing this for 40 years just place them in history these three guys well let's start with George George had one of the great right hands of all time and one of his own side to side one of his great van leaves OVA was a booklet because it yes that's right in Kingston Jamaica Alfred good pretty well lifted you off you fool seven rounds now if we go to 1971 you had a fight with Ollie which was one of the great fights of all time and you want it against this man and off the ropes and you're not Georgia and so the three of you have all done it to each other in a way and you're all great about boxing and you're all great Jack you're all great champions and you're I mean who invited him anyway we do anything to each other in a part of my life and I'm proud of being a part of their lives I had some of the greatest times my life of this man and with these gentlemen hi I wish it could all happen again okay I can't come back right hey listen Ally what do you think of Mike Tyson Allison he's powerful stone he's a big punch if he hits you in trouble right how would because really these are the greatest fighters of all time yeah you've got to be compared a Joe Frazier type of Muhammad Ali type they are no George Foreman type know if I can imitate these guys on a certain night I could whip anybody and to mix it all up I may be considered a great thing to be three great guys here and Mike Tyson not here what do you think of Mike Tyson Mike Tyson is the best guy that's around today yeah that's all you can ever same people always won they always want to compare you know somebody for the person could hear but it doesn't matter all you have to be is the best in your own time Tyson today is the best in his own time as far as I can see there's there's really begging George's button and there's not too many other people around I think competing but these gentlemen were the best in their time that's unconditional we brought you to come in I was her sternum this is this this was no doubt more the most courteous reporters of all time he would bring it was splendid opportunity when you'd be interview knowing that he was representing the country other people you wouldn't let in but he was so nice and such a gentleman with all they didn't have private I can go near a boxer on the night of the fight because that's their private thing and you don't get involved in that but two or three days before you Sunday they'll work with you but very very happy and I'm Jordan I'm thank George for the very cursory thinks he's George is the sweetest guy in the world he's also the most frightening but he's still the sweetest man well I tell you what he's in it he's gonna beat mr. Watching this has always been strange to me, knowing how much Frazier still hated Ali.
