welcome back to another video it's your boy Jay Wilson here drifting around in RSM yes I am but as you read the title of this video oh my God that was horrible if you read the title of this video uh you would know that this video is about we're gonna we're gonna go through my ENB settings and I'm gonna show you what my EMB settings look like in my in-game settings and you can actually copy this on your uh computer your game I would recommend joining the 5m server that you're in right now just so we can get started and you can copy with me so this is kind of like a follow along tutorial so let's go ahead and get started I'm gonna go ahead park it right here all right so let's start with the Quan b e and B menu I'm hoping that you already have point B installed so how to open the EMB menu you would press shift left shift this is left shift and enter that will open up the EMB menu at the same time shifting into so you do that and then this will pop up and it will give you all these options it would look just like this I literally just installed it for you so it will look just like this this is my default we're gonna go through everything I'm gonna show you exactly what you need and what you don't need uh just to set up your game and make it look nice I mean mine's already look nice by default but I mean we're gonna change some in-game settings and you know the EMV settings and it's gonna make it look even better so I want to start off with the um the input so if you guys don't want to open the menu with shift enter and it kind of gets in the way of everything and you and you know you're driving or you're like walking or something and you made a mistake and open up the menu you hit input we hit input you see key combination right here key combination hoping that you can see uh I want to get in the way you hit key combination and it says shift by default so that would be the shift enter so whatever it will be whatever key plus enter so whatever key that you want plus enter I don't like shift personally I would like page up on fireman page up so page up and enter is what I would press now to open up the EMB menu I would just close that up by pressing input again and I will hit save configuration and then hit apply changes every time you change something in your game it will freeze like this when you when you hit apply changes by the way but every time you change something in your ENB menu make sure that you hit save configuration and apply changes before you close out that menu so it can it can always save when you come back into game so that's the first thing uh so show shaders window right here that's checked you don't have to have that on because there's nothing over there that you need unless it's for like nve or something like that uh to you know if you don't want it sharp or something like that but we're not on that we're on Quant B so we're going to go down to the next thing here's Global and here's use effect which is underneath Global it's automatically checked where you go into game if you uncheck it here's what your game would look like it would look dull it would look dry it wouldn't look saturated at all but you put on use effect and it looks good I mean you can clearly see the effect so if you take off that use effect as you can see my FPS went up tremendously I'm literally at 90 almost 100 FPS but if I put it back on I go down to 50 to 60 FPS immediately and that's because it's my game go follow my FPS tutorial check the channels it's a pretty recent video from this video um so yeah if you want more FPS go ahead check that out I always play at 60fps or more even with quantity or nbe installed and that's because I know how to optimize my game so uh off of that as you can see that's how Global and use effect works you know you take it off it looks dull but you get more FPS you put it on it looks beautiful but you get less FPS that's how that works so we can close out Global by hitting Global and we can go down to effect which is right underneath Global uh and here's where all the options are checked as you can see you know original post processing Gloom Deputy field lens all that stuff rain Reflections and actually this is where you want to start checking stuff off uh starting off so we're just gonna go down the line here I'm gonna let you know what you need to have checked on and what you don't need to have checked on so use original post processor you want that on because look at this I unchecked it this is me unchecking it look at what it looks like it's horrible right makes you go blind so inside of that or your screen goes black so always have original post processing on uh use original Bloom you want that on because at night time in the morning time it's not going to look bloomy and stuff like that and it's going to be looking pretty dull and dry so you want to have that on uh and that's just that and same thing for down here it say enable Bloom and it's going to say a used original Bloom and enable Bloom you want to have both of those blooms on just to let you know uh aberration and lens Distortion Distortion uh you don't want that on uh it's no reason to have that on uh enable post press Shader um when you have this off um like when it starts raining and stuff like that you're not going to see raindrops on the screen but if you have it on you're actually going to see raindrops on the screen so that's pretty cool it's a pretty cool effect some things different for some things but it's not a noticeable difference so you can have it on or off if you want but uh I do recommend having it on if you if your computer can take it uh enable lens oh well enable adaptation right here you don't want that on there's no reason to have that on uh enable lens you don't want that on it's it's useless um enable depth of field you don't want that on it's come in look at this for for your game it might be different but I mean every time I turn depth of field on everything in the background gets blurry you do not want that unless you're like recording something and I mean you still don't want it I mean look at this it's horrible so I mean take it off uh next up we got ambient inclusion uh you want to have this enabled because look if you don't have it enabled the Shadows all the beautiful you see in the background this is on this is all this is on this is all you see it kind of adds some saturation and shadows to the background and literally everything else like even your clothes you can see like the Shadow on my arms right here everything everything just kind of becomes more saturated and uh realistic so you always want to have ambient inclusion on mind you ambient inclusion kind of takes up a lot of FPS about 10 FPS so right now I took it off and I'm literally at a steady 80 FPS right now uh but I'll put it back on I goes down to 63. Boom so be careful with ambient inclusion uh you don't always have to have it on just like a global and user pack you don't always have to have it on but I mean if you want your game looking nice and you're like recording or something like that then yeah go ahead have it on but ambient inclusion is really the heart of nbe and quantity so you always really want to have it on uh enable subsurface scattering you don't need that on I have no clue what that is every time I turn it on it's absolutely no difference um enable Skyline you want to have that on on or off it depends on how you feel because if you have it off as you can see my face gets darker and everything becomes even more saturated but we had that Skylight known it's kind of like the sun and everything is kind of shining on you even at night when you see the Moon it kind of has that like effect on your face so as you can see my face gets darker every time I turn it off my face gets lighter it all depends on what you want but um sometimes I like to have skylighting on because it seems more realistic especially like I said at night when the Sun or the Moon is um reflecting off your face but yeah uh enable detail Shadow uh normal map Shadow and Sprites over here as you can see all these three options you don't need to have them on at all I don't know what they are for um normal map Shadow and detail Shadow is probably self-explanatory but every time you turn it on it's no difference there's no difference as you can see it's no difference so I would have it on if I were I will have it off if I were you um and yeah enable ring Reflections we're going to get to that in a minute um I want to actually show you what like the difference between the ring Reflections and everything else um when you have it on and off so you want to have that on I want to let you know that right now you want to have that one enable sure and enable water you don't have to have these two on I mean it's just useless there's no I don't even know what it's for so let's get to the so before you get off of this before you get off of the uh ENB menu you want to hit save configuration Supply changes your game is going to freeze up for just a second quick second like look boom I'm back so it's gonna freeze out for a quick second don't be scared nothing happened it just saved your settings and now you're good to go and now I can actually close my menu out and everything will be the same as I left it see open it back up everything's the same everything the same and if I leave the game everything will still be the same when I come back so my game is stuck like this permanently until I change it right all right so that's that um but yeah oh yeah let's do the rain reflection so I want to actually show you guys I want to actually show you guys how the rain looks um the rain puddle looks so this is it random right here uh puddles are gonna appear in a minute we're just gonna clip it or or there we go I have to edit that out um so yeah these are rain Reflections as you can see so you can see you can clearly see like the effect it has you know you can actually see like the building and the name on the building you can actually see like the logo on the door and stuff like that you can see even in a distance you can see the trees and the buildings and stuff like that the little a little um you can see the brick wall right here you can see that through the reflection you can see everything in the reflection pretty much it's pretty much a realistic reflection and go down to effect and turn off rain Reflections look you can see the building Shadow and maybe just a couple of like trees or something not even trees you can't even see the trees you can see part of the mountain and stuff but if but if I turn it back on it gets it gets more realistic you can clearly see over there it gets way more realistic it adds more ambient inclusion and you can actually see the details you can actually see the details so ad Staffing I mean it really doesn't take up a lot of FPS um so I would recommend having that on so yeah that's that though that's frame Reflections I recommend having that on um and yeah so let's go to our in-game settings right here as you can see so we're going to start off with display um I know you probably like what what is in display that you can change you can actually change your brightness in display and it's a big difference with quantity and uh nve as well so if I go all the way down like all the way down here as you can see like now it's all the way down it was all the way up here first and look at my game now very saturated very dark and it looks beautiful to be honest with you but if I if I go all the way up on that brightness it really makes a difference in your game if I go all the way up what else is where we were at right there hey pretty much all the way up it looks it looks dull again it looks dumb it looks stupid so you don't want to have that so you want to go all the way back down with your brightness um I would recommend literally like halfway it adds it has just like it's just like a perfect balance but I mean you could always go down if you want I do recommend that as well uh because as you can see the saturation uh adds something to it so you only have to change anything else in display I mean that's up to you but it's not really anything as far as Graphics that you can change uh so you want to go down to Graphics so it's the next tab over so you display graphics um so we're gonna start from the very top uh ignore suggested limits I recommend having that off because if you have it on you're going to get a bunch of notifications when you go above that video memory limit and it's gonna make it's gonna like it's basically gonna say that you can't change your settings and it's gonna be a whole thing so um I recommend having that off uh DirectX version you want to have 11 because if you don't have 11 anything other than 11 can make your Quan V look stupid and and different and just not how my quantity looks um which is basically why you clicked on this video so I recommend having that on 11. uh render resolution always follow your computer's render resolution lines it's always uh 1920 by 1080. um I'll I'll put monitor you don't have to worry about that I mean obviously that's the monitor you're playing on uh FXAA you want to have this on because um edges of like vehicles and even your person and trees and everything will be not sharp like it's gonna be like like a little Ripple and you'll actually see it and it's not going to be smooth or sharp at all uh so FXAA you want to have that on msaa msaa you can take that off excuse me um and if you have it on your these other options are going to open up you don't really want that uh so you want to have that all uh vsync you always want to have that off like every time you play 5m it's no reason to have it on uh pause game on Focus loss you want to have that all uh population density you want to have that all the way down population Verity you want to have that all the way down these are uh basically related to NPCs in the way they spawn in game so if you don't want to have a bunch of NPCs and you know different types of NPCs everywhere you want to have those all the way down both of them uh distance scaling you want to have that uh all the way down or at least halfway depends on your computer if you're running a good computer then have it all the way up it don't matter it really doesn't matter what FPS either it's just like what spawns in the distance you know if you don't really need it if you really don't care what spawns in the distance like if you don't mind a tree popping up here and there you know you can have it all the way down but if you really care about everything spawning and you're like kind of perfect with your game put it all the way up it doesn't really matter uh extended texture budget this is very important because if you bring this all the way up even halfway you're probably gonna get a yellow marking or red marking on your video memory and you don't want that you want to have that all the way down extended texture budget is basically for um if your map is having like texture loss or something like that like if you start if you start not seeing roads and buildings and stuff like that and everything's just like disappearing you want to have that brought up and when every time you have it brought up it's going to make your game much better you know with the texture loss and that's the only thing it fixes that's still really why it's called extended texture budget because it actually adds that extended texture budget for that loss so you're going to have that all the way down if you're not experiencing any texture loss so just leave it alone it's going to run up your FPS so take it from me uh texture quality this really depends on your PC if you're running a beast of a PC have it on very high that's me too I'm actually going to change my settings and I'm gonna come back in game but uh yeah I like mine so I'm very high um especially since I'm running a good PC and I know how to optimize my settings and still get good FPS uh Shader quality you want to have that on uh high or very high I recommend high for you know low end PCS always high for low end PCS but um if you can't even get that and put it on normal um but the Shader and the the police lights everything is going to be boring and it's not going to be good if you put it on normal do not have a normal normal I'm just saying if you put on a high that's that's decent that's decent enough but very high really gets it going uh Shadow quality you want to have that on high or very high depending on your PC uh reflection quality you want to have that on high or very high or Ultra even if you can uh Ultra is very good um reflection msaa you're gonna have that off you don't want to have that on I mean it's really it's really just like an extra thing if you have a good PC most of these are really if you have a good PC though uh water quality particle quality and grass quality I usually take those all together and put it on normal because I mean what's the point what is the point I don't swim in the water this is not a swimming competition I don't join swimming servers you know I put the water quality on normal if you're not near the water all the time in RP or something then put it on normal article quality normal grass quality normal you don't really need that on anything else your grass will look good your particle quality will look good either way it's all quiet soft Shadows you want to have that on uh either softer or soft this depending on your PC I mean soft works well as well but I mean that's just me I would like to have it on um look at this guy I would like to have it on soft disc because I mean that's just what works for me um post FX I usually have that on Ultra very high and this is a very important thing just as important as uh texture quality it really defines your game uh so if you have it on very high then I would uh if you have it on anything below High your game is not gonna look like how corn B is supposed to look so if you put it on very high Ultra your game will like max out its looks with point B or nve and it'll look really nice so I mean I recommend very high or Ultra mostly very high for everyone else but because Ultra is just like okay I have a beast of a PC a tank I can run this you know so I put it on very high I recommend you put it on very high uh motion blur strength you don't need that up it's a preference if you want that up go ahead and have it up there's no difference in fps in-game depth effects I do have that on that kind of adds that that that blurry background kinda every time I look down at myself or something like that kind of kind of has that blurry background to the back so like trees cars anybody in the distance will kind of like blur out a little bit I really like that it's a it's a beautiful effect uh anastrophic filtering this basically rides with texture quality so if you have your texture quality at high and you have your instructor filter in the x16 then the roads are not going to look blurry and like certain things will not look blurry it kind of sharpens things up so this is basically a sharper a sharpering thing this is basically a sharpering thing like it sharpens everything so and pretty much one of the last things ambient inclusion um you want to have that on high that's the highest you can go is literally High you have it off normal or high so I would literally recommend that on high because if you don't your game will not look good it's one of the main factors so texture quality post FX and ambient inclusion are very important uh tessellation as you can see I have that off it's really no point I believe that has something to do with like the trees and the tree quality something like that um I don't don't take it from me though take it look it up see what that is but as far as I know I don't need it so I turn it off um and if you ever want to restore your defaults obviously restore your defaults I do not recommend pressing that I do not recommend that you're going to have a problem big problem it's going to go all the way back so um I'm gonna apply these changes and then I'm gonna come back uh I would say Advanced Graphics anything in advanced Graphics do not go there I mean it's just gonna reduce your game performance it literally has a warning for that so just leave it alone um so I'm gonna apply these changes we're gonna come back in game and we're gonna see how it looks uh and then that's gonna be the end that you're gonna see let's go ahead and do that all right folks we're back in the game as you can see it was a bit of a process trying to hop back in here it's always hard um as you can see the the roads are pretty uh texturey which is like so basically as you can see everything uh is pretty much sharpened uh the texture quality I did raise it on very high uh so the settings that you see me left off with uh basically settings that are in right now um pretty much in the afternoon time and yeah I mean it looks nice everything looks nice um you know the Shadows the ambient inclusion everything I mean this is just what it looks like and I mean if you like the way my game looks right now then I mean it's gonna look nice for you gonna really look nice for you so yeah I definitely recommend checking it out I really like it I really don't know what else to say here I mean I mean it looks nice everything is nice I do want to apologize to all my viewers from that installation video on Quant B I did tell a lot of people that they could buy anyone and I was not aware that they changed it to just a ten dollar one or the middle tier uh but I do not recommend buying corn b anyway or any other graphic mod I mean you can easily get a graphic Mod for free um and I mean you should know that really if you played 5m before especially for a while you should know uh that you know you could pretty much get anything for free so um yeah anything else otherwise would be pretty much a scam but yeah this is the end of the video I don't want to get distracted anymore uh if you did like this video or if it helped you out please subscribe like this video um and comment what you want to see next and yeah before you leave uh don't forget to check out the channel membership if you navigate to the home of the channel uh this channel you can click join and check out the subscription tiers and perks I do offer many perks including gaming with members and one-on-one help in the Discord you know anything you need the prices are pretty reasonable and it would be helpful to receive some funding uh you know so I can continue to drop the Banger videos I've been dropping lately uh and you know you can cancel the membership subscription anytime you know so I mean definitely check that out I appreciate you and yeah that's pretty much it so thank you for watching peace out
