what's up welcome back to another video in this video I'm going to be explaining my in-game settings I'm going to go through each set and explain what it is what it does and how much fps you might lose or gain and how it affects your computer whether you're on the worst computer or the best computer let's get into it all right so as y'all can see we are in RSM free roam right now we're having a good time uh we're using Quan V and nve um if you want to know how to get this specific graphic setting to look like this like everything how I got it then go to my last video which is basically NV and Quan V how to combine it it's still a video that's like very frequent to this video just look it up on my channel nve and Quan V combining each other all right so we're going to get started basically what we're going to do is go into our endgame settings go all the way to settings uh the first thing I want everybody to do um or at least watch and see what the hell was that he was making a lot of noise drifting and stuff um anyways first thing y'all want to do is go into display um and if it's either up to you if you want to follow along or just like take it into account like everything that I'm telling you um but the first thing that you want to do is go into the display settings go to brightness and this will make or break your game uh depending on the graphic mod that you using whether that's Radiance V or like Quan V or NV whatever so as you can see I put it all the way down in brightness and it really has an effect on my game now you can you can kind of barely see my game but it still looks very good like super good too good probably I should probably put this back up like a just a little bit past halfway so uh I think it's kind of good like I said the other one was kind of too good I was going to kind of do something inappropriate that's how good it was so we're going to go back to this we're going to go back to the settings and then under display you have Graphics everybody knows how to get here explain everything to you starting from the very top and if I don't know anything um then I will let you know specifically that I do not know this and I will probably skip over it but usually I experience each and every one of these so I can probably tell you if it affects your FPS or not uh so we're just going to go ahead and get through it so the first thing we have right here is ignore suggested limits this basically tells you your video memory right here mine's is 3,000 out of 6,000 right now megabytes it basically tells you if you have enough video memory to run whatever um like setting that you're running and that's basically in the in-game settings and it has to do with the mod as well so it kind of gets tricky and complicated but um it's not really that tricky or complicated when you really think about it um that's just for the video memory but if you hit ignore suggested limits on if you put that on then it's basically saying this using more than you're allotted graphic card memory can result in serious performance drops and stability issues proceed with caution it's basically going to give you that same alert or some different alert basically saying you might want to be careful every time you turn that on um because there's a green level there's a yellow level and there's a red level to this it's not going to let you play the game unless you have this in green or yellow basically if it gets to Red then it becomes a problem and it's not going to really let you play the game so you might want to have ignore suggested limits off uh because it just makes it better if you're really trying to run your game to like the limits like the full potential then you you might want to just leave it off I say leave it off in general because it's Common Sense basically all right enough with that I know that was a lot we're not going to do that with everyone but I'm just going to try to get through it briefly and like just let you know everything direct X version you have 11 you have 10 and you have 10.1 um do not change this always leave it on X11 your game will look horrible Graphics will just really look bad honestly like very plain and default and if you have any graphic mods on on it will really look horrible um this affects your FPS too um depending on your PC it might if you use direct X10 or something it might go uh down or up like significantly whether that's really bad or really good um but definitely use directx11 it doesn't matter what Windows version you're on render resolution um keep that at the render resolution that you using for your computer um unless you on a monitor and you know what you're doing or you're okay with having like a small window for 5m open so as you can see this is basically what my entire screen looks like um I have the outside so if I have like Discord open in the background I can actually have 5m in front of Discord and then like I can see if I get a message or anything it's really cool but um just keep your render resolution at a reasonable resolution unless you know what you're doing my entire monitor is like a 1440 monitor but I got the render resolution at 1080p so I have this small window for 5m I got used to it and it's really nice looking for me uh but you can see the entire window so when I go to record it's completely different and you just don't see the entire 1440p you see 1080p so that's why that's like that I would just keep this at a reasonable render resolution which is like 1080p output monitor keep it at one I mean it's not really too much to say about this at all is really kind of Common Sense FXAA this is where we get to the good stuff making your screen pixelated if you have it off it's going to make your screen your entire screen pixelated like um like the edges of your character the edges of cars buildings the roads everything in the game basically all the objects everything will be pixelated basically like on the edges of it like it it won't be completely pixelated like Minecraft or anything no I'm just saying it will be like pixelated and wouldn't be like sharp edges like like realistic edges please keep this on don't turn it off keep it on and this also affects your FPS as well significantly it will drop down or depending on your computer it might rise up a little bit I mean I would keep it on because you know you want your game looking good msaa I forgot what this is exactly but it it really takes a toll in your game I can tell you that it's going to actually decrease your FPS heavily so keep that off I have nothing else to say for that vsync I would leave this off as well um I don't think it really has any like huge effect on 5m but it definitely has an effect on your FPS whether you're losing like 10 or 15 FPS um just keep that off please um some people turn it on because they have like lagging issues with police roleplay servers some people have it on for some reason but I have it off I always have it off and I don't really have any problems especially lagging and I'm on like this 3050 um RTX and it's not even like the best gaming laptop or anything like that but it's definitely good pause game on Focus loss I mean I completely forgot what this is but I just leave it off you don't it really doesn't have an effect on your FPS at all so I would probably just leave it off if I were you population density and population Varity these two have to do with AI in the game uh population density is basically I'm going to take this I'm going take you do a brief explanation for this one it's not going to be long at all population density is basically how many AI you see in the game like how many um NPCs you see walking around and like driving around and stuff and population Varity is the different types of AI so if you have population density you'll have um a crap ton of AI That's the same but if you turn population Varity on as well like like um if you put it like halfway or something you'll start to see different types AI you'll see like all different types of races ethnicities and all that type of stuff I will probably leave these down if you really want the best FPS and if you have lagging issues distance scaling this has to do with like a tree that's right in front of you and say if if you have it all the way down then your distance scaling you you won't see that tree unless it's right in front of you basically if you have it all the way up you'll see everything and this has a big toll on FPS because you're basically trying to render the entire map at one time and like if you look in the distance with your screen you can see the entire like other side of the mountain or something like that or like the other side of the city and it really just messes up your FPS if you're not on on the best computer extended texture budget this is basically a feature that 5m that they added on 5m uh basically the higher you go the better your texture loss is um so if if I have texture loss I would basically increase this as you can see I'm increasing it but if I don't have any texture loss you can always leave that down if if you're on like a server that has a lot of texture laws start increasing it I wouldn't go past the halfway level because it has FPS issues and as you can see at the video memory up here the more I go the uh the worse it gets so it turns red actually it goes like to Max and if I go all the way down then it goes back to green and I don't really need it so I have it like like a little bit before halfway so I think it's pretty cool texture quality this is very important for your game this this is like how you see the roads and everything like the sidewalk you're walking on the the the buildings and everything like the texture you want it high quality you want it realistic so I would probably put this on high or very high if you're on a good computer then I would put it on very high obviously the highest you go the more FPS you're going to lose um but this really depends on your computer and like how you want your game to look Shader quality um this is basically like for graphic mods that have like brighter emergency lights so like make visuals great again Radiance V all that stuff and even for nve and stuff like that as well you want your Shader quality high or very high so you know uh the shaders on the game look realistic and like more defined and it really doesn't have an effect on FPS I can tell you that like as you can see even you if you looking at my video memory and and you can see I go normal 3987 I go high 3997 and then I go very high it's at the same rate so it really doesn't affect FPS um in your video memory at all um so that's that's the best part about it so I would definitely go very high with that one Shadow quality this is very important it really defines your game you see where my arrow is you see like the shadows for the trees and stuff and like the little the little just the little defined areas um and like even on my character like you can see the shadow for on like the neck area and just everywhere um you want that on very high you don't want that on like high or like normal or anything those are the other options you want that on like very high because you want the best Shadow quality quality out there so and Shadow quality doesn't really have that much of an effect on FPS it can get up there depending on like what graphic mod you're using I think that's the only like difference between it but that's pretty much it reflection quality this is very important this is like as you can see I have it on high I there's an option for Ultra but I have it on high because every time I put on Ultra or very high it really takes an effect on my game like all the FPS I lose you're guaranteed to lose like 20 FPS probably using like Ultra reflection quality or something like that quality really makes or breaks the game it makes it look super realistic your driving at night all the reflections of the lights off the buildings are like reflecting off your car and it really just it really just makes a break the realism of the game um and it depends on your PC that if it can handle it or not my PC can handle it but I rather for it to be at high instead of like very high or anything or Ultra even because you know high is still very good but very high and Ultra really takes in a toll on your FPS reflection msaa please leave this off this is just like the first msaa that we were talking about leave that off it really if you if you have reflection quality on Ultra and you have reflection msaa on as well or like on X8 or XO or anything any X anything if you have it on you can say bye-bye to your computer you can just say it's going to blow up um water quality particle quality and grass quality I associate all these together um if you're not in an active server where you're like swimming or something you don't need any of this on like swimming or like in the woods or in like the forest or something like that or if you really don't care about particles like that's floating in the air while you're playing the game it really none of this matters like I keep all these on normal and it's definitely good for your FPS because if you have any of these on high or very high or anything it's really just going to affect your FPS like crazy so I would leave that on normal um soft Shadows I keep them on softest uh because it just just look good it's really not that much of a difference more just like um like the edges of each shadow on the screen it kind of like it makes it softer each time you go up so you got soft you softer and softest I leave it on softest though all depends on your PC and all depends on what you desire post effects I put that on ultra um because this is another thing that can make or break your game if you have like Quant V or nve installed and then you have like if you have post effects on like high then it's not going to look good like your nve or KB is not going to look good at all it's not going to have the same effects that you see in everybody else's like videos or anything that you see like especially like Ms as you can see m is on Ultra and that's why I got the best looking Graphics out there because it's on Ultra always put post FX on Ultra this this is literally a game changer so keep it on Ultra please and um it really doesn't affect the FPS that much like that much really honestly motion blur strength this is all up to you doesn't affect FPS in the slightest probably like maybe maybe one FPS or something like that I don't know yeah just just put it on whatever you want I keep M's all the way down because I don't need it there's external mods for motion blur so I mean could just install one but really it really doesn't matter to be honest ingame deer field effects this actually I want to show you what this does um I have m's off but sometimes most times I have it on um that's because I have the the dep of field effects on in the EM menu so I don't need dep of field effects on in the game settings but as you can see in the background you see like um let me see you up there you see how it's uh like all blurry and stuff like that that's that's basically de a field settings um in game that's what it looks like so I mean it really just depends on what you want that's the mo same thing as uh Mo blur pretty much it's like uh just depends on what you want it doesn't have any effect on FPS really um if you're on a potato it definitely has effect on FPS I've experienced that so yeah definitely know your computer and change it accordingly anistropic filtering this is very important because um if you have your texture quality on like not very high or like normal or something you want to have anistropic filtering on like x16 so that the roads and the sidewalks all this is it's crispy looking it's still clear and it's still like the texture is still crispy with it because if you have it off and you have like your texture quality on normal it's going to look like a smooth surface and like platform that you're standing on and it really doesn't look realistic or good at all so I would keep that at x 16 this is only if you're trying to have your game look good like if you're a streamer or anything like that you really want your game looking good or if you just like if you just like looking at a good game pretty much you don't even have to be a streamer but if you like looking at a good game this is for you ambient inclusion this is the this is another deal breaker along with the post FX and reflection quality this is a deal breaker for your game uh you want that on high the other options are off and normal you want that on high because literally everything that you see in the game let me let me show you everything that you see like the Shadows the way the shaders look this complement every mod in the game because I mean I could turn it off for you ambient inclusion I could turn it off inside look at that look at the difference it really makes and breaks your game like it's a game changer for real that's off that's on you know what I'm saying it it really makes your game it makes it um and it also affects your FPS a lot like it can range from like five you can lose five fps to like up to 20 um and it really depends on your PC at that point um let's get back to it though we don't really have anything else really um yep just a Tessellation you can leave that off it really has to do with like the texture of trees and like uh how thick it is and how how detailed the trees are you don't need that on at all and then if you go into advanced Graphics I I kind of get some questions about this in the Discord uh it clearly says changing these options may cause reduced game performance so it's probably common sense for you like no disrespect to anyone it's probably common sense to leave all of these options off because you know it's going to affect your FPS for sure it's it's like literally telling you it's going to affect your FPS also has a higher chance of crashing every time you load in so be careful whatever you turn on this is a reminder this is a warning that's pretty much it though um if you want your game looking like mine I mean I offer game support it is $13 um a down payment um so just join the Discord um and I can actually help you get set up and I can actually make your game look just like this I have proven uh methods to help this work for you um and if you want some mods then go ahead and uh join the Discord create a ticket as well uh I offer some for some very low prices I appreciate everybody for watching and go ahead comment down below like And subscribe to the channel y'all
