FiveM: How To Use Depth Of Field Effect Guide (ENB & Settings)

what's up everybody what's going on welcome back to another video today as you can see about I wrote a video and buy my hairline looking crazy as hell we're going to be talking about how to get this depth of field effect going on um and how to fix it up and you know just get it looking good and stuff like that it's probably not gonna look like this I mean if you want it to look like this then stay with me but yeah we're definitely gonna be talking about how to get this depth of field level to a good standing point so uh yeah let's go ahead and get to that all right so first things first um I'm gonna turn the depth of field off on my ENB just in case you don't have EnV uh so we're just going do that real quick this is for everybody who don't have ENB who can't afford the uh nve or coin view anything like that I mean if you can't afford it then you know just hit me up and my DMs on Discord I got you well Lolo price though low low price do you see us off now we're gonna get out of that I do have a reshape preset shout out to uh my boy uh Maz Maz uh he's in the Discord he's our sponsor but yeah without further Ado let's get right into it so you have a basic graphic model let's say you got visual view let's say you got make visuals grid again let's say you got anything else visual vanilla doesn't matter I'm gonna go into your pause menu you access that by hitting the the P button or the escape button on your keyboard you want to go all the way to settings we're gonna go all the way to Graphics not Advanced Graphics but graphics we're gonna scroll all the way to the bottom um and then you'll clearly see it says in-game depth of field effects uh right up right underneath motion blur strength so you just go to that and it should be on it should definitely be on because if you got it off let me show you how it looks you got it off you can see everything in the background like literally the mountains and everything you go up like this and everything you can still see in the corners over there uh like the cemetery right there the bushes you know the house right there you can see everything you can see everything everything is nothing is nothing is blocked out nothing is blocked out so we're just gonna go back in same place before you can test that out if you want same place before and you turn it right back on and now you can see the cemetery is blurred the trees right here the bushes is blurred the house is blurred everything over there is blurred out it looks good it looks good like that and it looks good with any graphic mod especially like make visuals great again and stuff like that it looks real nice so I mean and it really just does it when you're like when you're close up to your character like that it probably you could still see all the mountains and everything I'm not gonna lie to you but uh those are those are that you would have to probably download like a like an extra depth of field uh mod just to help you out with that one so if you're not trying to see the the mountains and stuff like that then I recommend doing that like like nve or corn B Because if you're going to the EMB menu this is for everybody who has the EMB going on if you go into the ENB menu go under the effects you can uh you can hit enable double Field Effect let me go ahead get out of that and now you can see everything is kind of blurred you see that mountain over there them trees right there it's kind of blurred it's real blurred see you can see how everything is blurred out but now you see and it's kind of like uh actually mods are a little bit mine's a little bit messed up but um we're gonna fix that right now as you can see I don't know why I'm still thinking stop thinking I had to do that for the thumbnail just to get y'all but uh yeah as you can see it's kind of like a like an on and off double field thing going on and as you can see I was playing my settings over here so if you want to play with your settings as well just go to the uh so you probably you won't see it it'll be uh at the very top right here as you can see it says show shaders window you want to tap that and it will be closed up like this everything will be closed up at the very top it says depth of field you go under that and you can play with it you can play with all the numbers so you can see what you want to do uh and don't don't save anything or exit out until you know exactly what you want let me tell you that again do not save anything or exit out the game until you know exactly what you want so the main thing you really want to focus on here is like the near intensity the fall intensity and the sensor size all that is basically going to determine how well your depth of field looks uh for your depth of field and on video nbe or whatever and it's it's both the same thing so I mean and also things down here like I said I recommend just playing around with it because I'm not going to sit there and tell you like the perfect setting I don't usually use depth of field but this video was highly recommended so I'm gonna go ahead and uh give this video out to all my fans and you know what y'all really want to see but yeah like I said though I recommend just really playing with this right here or if you're like not using the nbe or corn B I recommend just downloading something like a double mod or something like that like an extra to give you more intensity of it but yeah that's pretty much it though you know um but yeah just go with the shaders window and just play around with that double Field Effect thing and then once you finish once you get once you get what you need going on you hit save configuration and then you hit apply changes that's going to do everything for you I don't really want the double field effect on so I'm just going to leave it off I I like the ones that's in the settings but that's pretty much how you turn it on and that's pretty much what double field is it's basically the blur of the background the blurring of the background um but yeah mines look really nice I like it and I you know like I said the resave preset it's Moz mons definitely check it out on the Discord uh check him out his mods and presets are really good and that's pretty much it I appreciate y'all and I'm gonna head out peace
