know turmoil was what's happening around them a lot of things were happening around them but i thank god that jesus was on the boat you see in our lives we have so many things around us sometimes in this pandemic situation that sometimes wants us to feel miserable and out of place but i thank god that we have not left jesus out we thank god that we have kept jesus on board and i want to encourage persons here today that in the midst of serious circumstances just tell you that just tell yourself i'm going to keep jesus on board because when he is on board you can call on him anytime when he is unborn and when you call on him he will rise up to the situation unto the circumstances and he will speak to the wind he will speak to the wave and said peace be still glory to god we can stand up in the name of jesus and in the authority of the spirit of god and speak to our circumstances many people are here today and you wouldn't realize the state that they are here with but i want to challenge you today in spite of the situation that you are in just call on jesus just realize that you are in some place where jesus is and anywhere jesus is is heaven there god bless you stay seat in jesus hour of prayer and verse 6 minister davis is the powerful verse in the scripture and i want to say to all of us this morning that the anointing is greater than silver and gold the anointing is greater than silver and gold i want to say to us this morning that that lay man was there for many years and i can tell you that he would have gotten many silver and gold before the man of god came and i want you to understand that once they spoke his life was transformed and somebody is here today you thought that when you came in the house today that bishop might call somebody for some silver and gold but the word will be spoken the word will be spoken and i hope that you will understand the power of the word and let the world be applied to your life and you will get up and walk the situations that you came here with very heavily on your mind and is weighing you down the word will be spoken and i'm sure that the word will transform then the greet the king of kings and the lord of lords and the head of my life i want to greet our leaders our powerful leaders and leaders of examples leaders who we can follow with blind eyes close our eyes and follow them because god has empowered them to lead we do not some of us do not understand that the greatest investment any human being can embark on is to give our lives to christ is to be saved and that's why i am who i am today because of the grace together who once walk with god and they backslid and go into the world and when i see them and see the conditions of their lives you know tears come to my eyes and i just lift my hands to the lord and said in a world of so many choices amidst the call of so many voices when they all reach out to greet me i turn my eyes on him and i choose him again and again and again and again and again and if there is anybody here or in the hearing of my boys and satan is speaking in your ears because you're challenged right now and you're going to think of giving up on jesus i beg you i implore you please it's the worst decision you'll ever make in your life and it is only temporary as minister simic says when you invest in god it's an investment for time and also for eternity just give the lord a wave offering and just say thank you jesus just say thank you jesus hallelujah glory to god um thank you jesus family to leave his christ and to die skiing on our light affliction which is bought for a moment work it for us a far more exceedingly weight of glory while we look not on the things that are seen but the things that are not seen the things that are seen they are temporary hallelujah but directly tied to a christmas story luke chapter 1 from verse 26 and in the sixth month the angel gabriel was sent from god unto a city of galilee named nazareth to a virgin exposed to a man whose name was joseph of the house of david and the virgin's name was mary and the angel came in onto her and said el thou that art highly favored the lord is with thee blessed are thou among women and when she saw him she was troubled at this saying and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be and the angel said unto her fear not mary for thou hast found favor with god and behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shall call his name jesus he shall be great and shall be called the son of the highest and the lord god shall give unto him the throne of his father david and he shall reign over the house of jacob forever and of his kingdom there shall be no end then said mary unto the angel oh shall this be seeing i know not a man and the angel answered and said unto her the holy ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the eyes shall overshadow thee therefore also that only thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the son of god and be all thy cousin elizabeth she hath also conceived a son in her old age and this is a six month with her who was called barren for with god nothing shall be impossible and mary said behold the handmaid of the lord be it unto me according to thy word and the angel departed from her this is a portion of scripture that we read at certain time as it relates to the immaculate conception the birth of jesus christ but i note something there that i want to bring across to us in the way that the spirit would have me to do to do today from verse 26 amen to the verses we have read verse 38 which says and mary said be all the unmarried of the lord beat unto me according to thy word and when she said that the angel departed from earth but in verse 28 and verse 30 the lord just quickened this to me when the angel said to her thou art highly favored and in verse 30 it says you have found favor with god highly favored found favor with god under the theme today you are not famous but you are favored you are not famous but you are let me say highly favored glory to god and if you can capture it today then god will minister to you in a personal way we have some famous people in this church or maybe a certain famous man based on the office he owes some other famous people based on the office they all from time to time they meet with prime minister from time to time they sit in parliament from time to time they rub shoulders with those i echelons of society and you might not think they are famous because it is not splashed all over the headline news and all over the printed press but in their own way they are people of fame but majority of us the large majority of us in this house have no fame to our lives we are not considered among the famous people but in as much as we are not considered among the famous people god told me to tell you that although you are not famous he said to tell you you are highly favored and if i could make a choice this morning between being famous among men being famous in the eyes of men being famous in society as opposed to being highly favored by god i don't know what choice you would make but i wouldn't have to think a second thought to make the choice i'd rather be famous if i'd rather be favored by god than to be famous among men somebody praise god with me oh you didn't get that as yet i'd rather be favored by god million times above being famous in the eyes of men because the fame of this world can be like a littered flame o glory to god it rises high this moment and in the twinkling of an eye it can dwindle the man the woman of world fame today can become a shame tomorrow because world fame cannot stand a man certain test of time they crumble under your feet god i feel i'm gonna preach a little here today whether you say amen yes or no there was a famous man in jamaica well many famous jamaicans have risen time and time again and many are among us today and let me not say how some of those men and women crumbled in the midst of fame and popularity and people raised their brows and said my god i can't believe this a particular person who held a very high office in this nation some years ago drove to the eastern parish amen it is beautiful bmw maybe brand new i don't know the drove to saint thomas in his beautiful bmw with a weapon in his waist in his waistband and reach a certain secluded place in saint thomas for whatever reason fame could not have kept him based on what he was the dilemma he was facing and regardless of the eye of his very high office oh glory to god famous popular well-known drove to the eastern parish and stopped at a secluded place and pulled out his weapon put it in his ears pulled the trigger and that was it fame could not make him stand the precious that was on him that can be repeated many times across the world am i talking to anybody here but i guarantee you one thing when you are highly favored by almighty god it doesn't matter high the amen the waves dash you it doesn't matter how dark the clouds become glory to god somewhere in the high of the storms of your life god's favor will sustain you god's favor will see you through oh there are many people today who are going through the waters of life going through the floods of life the pillars are dossing to and fro but in the midst of it they have a song in the midst of it they have a testimony in the midst of it they have a prayer in the midst of if they say my hope is built on nothing less than jesus blood and righteousness i dare not trust the sweetest fame but only lean on jesus name lift your hand and tell me who you are standing on today somebody said who you're standing on somebody said where you are standing on christ the solid rock i stand whoa somebody somebody said something behind me somebody says something around me somebody said something over this place because i want to let you know today that the favor of god far exceeds the fame of this world oh glory to god somebody give him a praise i said give him a praise here you better realize that everything around us that are temporary they're also temporal and one of these days they will come the wheels will cease from turning o hallelujah hallelujah but the child of god who has the favor of god upon your life it will take you through [Music] hold on you think it is you think it is not showers and pain and distress amen our people are not facing all kinds of sorrows and pain and distress but their hope is hunkered in jesus christ and keeps them going you think everybody here a bit of a big bank account you think everybody here is in immaculate health you think everybody has a good family life you think everybody has all things going good for them but in the midst of earth's dilemma in the midst of earth chaos in the means of earth's destruction oh something within tells you is not over until it's over and it's not over yet because god has the final word i'm here to help somebody today to let you know that the favor of god on your life means everything [Music] oh gloria all glory somebody wave your hand and say something jesus historically mary had to know that sooner or later somebody would be chosen as a vessel amen used of god to fulfill god's highest purpose to mankind mary must have known that because from the patriarchs and prophets prophecies were made and they all look forward to the coming messiah so she would have known that someday somewhere somehow a vessel an earthly vest would be used to fulfill god's eye her highest purpose the mankind on this earth are you still with me somebody she knew that somebody would be blessed and highly favored by god she knew it would happen somebody would be blessed somebody would be highly favored by god to be that carrier that vessel to bring god's greatest gift to mankind to this world however she could not have known for some reason she might not have known that god's eyes were watching her for some reason she would not have known that the eyes of god because god knows everything somebody says something here he knows everything in the book before he opens the book so once she knew that a vessel would be chosen at a time she never knew that the eyes of god were upon her now let me pause long enough to say this here you are not virgin mary but you are you god will not choose you to bring a birth that in that manner to this earth that's woven dawn once and for all but how do you not know that the eyes of god is upon you that the eyes of god are upon you to bring to this world to give to this world something that he has ordained for you to give to this world but bishop i can't give nothing to this world i'm poor i'm simple i'm uneducated i'm not known i'm not renown all you need is god to look upon you and say you are highly favored god cannot preach this here you just need for god to look upon you and say you are a favored vessel it doesn't matter who your grandparents were what they did or what they did notice it doesn't matter what your parents have done or have not done it doesn't matter what you have been through god almighty can look upon you and say of you i have an assignment for you i want to give birth through you for something to this world you are not among the famous but you're among the favored lift your hand and say i'm not among the famous but i'm highly favored where some of you don't believe that of yourself you better believe it you better believe it it doesn't matter how you look in the eyes of your relatives or you look in the eyes of your neighbors your friend your breathing dear eyes can't see what god's eyes see man look hold your appearance but god somebody lift your hand and say but god somebody said what god said but my god said but our god oh
