hate wind with a passion when we planned this trip it was calling for light winds light and variable that means smooth seas beautiful scott no no no we're gonna film a show that means it's gonna blow 25 out of the north we got this legend this is casey scott long time third generation born and raised down here in florida keys and then we got this guy this is dingo magic this guy's straight out of australia he howls at the moon and he never sleeps he shows up my house this morning like 2 30 a.m like let's go i mean that's my kind of a day [Music] [Music] that's freaking sick oh they're all over me got him got him on oh it came off gold got him again why are you kidding me pretty sure it's a mangrove snapper i'm on steroids i'm buying me some of these what is this thing that's no mad magic mad scad i didn't bring anything i did not bring a lure i did not bring a hook i did not bring a fishing pole which is very rare i just came and next thing you know we're tight a lot of action going on around here they're busting all over the place it's pretty wild it's like jurassic park so we're using really light leader so what i do is i've got my drag set properly and then i'll just basically just barely add a little pressure using my fingers and then if the fish goes to run i just let him take it oh big jack are you kidding me next time can i catch something that doesn't fight so hard right off the bat that is a large jack creville you know we're down here in the florida keys this is the sport fishing capital of the world you can catch almost anything if your mind can dream it up you can catch it down here i mean we've been fishing for all of six minutes and we've got a 25 pound river donkey here nice fish bro that's a proper one robert that is a proper one look at that dude i feel like i'm on the reef with the gt no way what an amazing fish not going to keep her out any longer head first my man y'all know what time it is i'm all about that live bait dingo swears by these vibes but you know what i mean got to have the live bait as stale cracker would say that's money dude yeah i got him look at that big beautiful pilgrims hey you ready to fish or what yes sir there is that's a fish not sure what i got folks but i got a good vibe this is so weird i've never used anything like this in my life feels like a snapper it is a little mutton snapper check that out what a cutie we don't want him to jerk that hook into my hand i can tell you that my first fish on the vibe so that's what i'm using and there's two different styles this one is meant to fall down and it vibrates as you pick it up fall down vibrates as you pick it up and uh it really creates a stimulating action that causes these predators to jump on it got him that's a better one dude we're out here mastering the fish oh i got me a yellow tail okay so we've been out here for five minutes i've caught a yellow tail and i've caught a mutton seems like a good deal check that out pretty fish when you think of the florida keys first thing that comes to mind yellowtail snapper what you got there dingo ah a little mutton snapper on that light tackle on the light tackle they pull pretty good cool little fish fun catching them on a lure the old just got nailed on the way in [Music] [Music] i mean he ate it right there i thought it was a shark [Music] i think it's a grouper i don't think it's a mutton snapper [Music] it ate it right there this is going to be a grouper [Music] come on papa what have we got baby doll that's what i'm talking about ladies and gentlemen that's the one black grouper check me out guys we've been catching here i got him yeah we've had two or three of these i one he lost he ate that way off the bottom that's a trophy fish that would be so good to eat and you know me i make a living catch clean and cook i love taking stuff to eat but yesterday my wife was in a very very very traumatic situation and nobody was seriously hurt and i said to myself on the way down here if i catch something epic i'm going to turn it loose so this this is for yesterday thank you god for taking care of everybody go have fun [Music] i love it man [Music] that's really special right there sarah i love you baby to the person that was in that situation very very sorry and i'm happy you're okay there he is got him nice grouper that's a nice one come here i've cast right next to the wreath have i told you how much i love the florida keys maybe or it's just hooked somewhere different just hooked a little bit funny snappers on boards goodbye oh dean goes on ding goes on and four casts four fish on the artificial in a row not sure what i have here might be a mutton snapper i'm not sure hold on got him right here big mutton over here what you got there dingo magic this is my third cast in a row with a mutton snapper on it nomad max the vertrix max in the 75 are really small the smallest one look at this hold on come here buddy come here come here come here man such a great fish now let's ice them down i'm all about eating fresh fish but i'm also about respecting the fishing game that i catch [Music] like that now you've created like an ice grime the salt water will actually chemically make that ice colder it completely surrounds the fish and it's going to make them so much better the meat's going to be firm they're going to be delicious hey that's a keeper all day but you know what don't keep more than you need most people would have been blown out today but not us instead of not going we stayed in shore and dude we got us a bucket full of nice fish [Music] so i'm so spoiled to use in my silver stags they're just such a good knife now watch this play this off [Music] take the pin bones out [Music] now it's widely known like oh mutton snapper is the best fish look you've got a much more predominant bloodline no bloodline big bloodline super white pretty white that's why they say the blue line porgy is the most underrated fish in the entire florida keys one of the best eating fish in the florida keys right there now i'm going to play the rest of these fish and we're going to some restaurant called lazy days where they have some incredibly good recipe and i need to know more about that we'll see you there so we gave them the fish they're getting it prepped up and we're going to go eat mutton snapper lazy day style but before we do that i want to tell you guys if you're down in the florida keys anywhere if it's rough if it's calm inshore or offshore captain casey scott he's right here in tavernier the dude really impressed me today i mean we were supposed to be offshore is blowing 30 20 30 knots we went inshore fishing in only eight feet of water and we caught like grouper snapper snapper all kinds of crazy fish so i'm gonna be great oh my gosh look how nice that is this guy's no joke we've only been here in here about 90 seconds they've prepped the fish and now it's almost done [Music] this looks so easy but it it just seems so good oh here comes the magic right here about to make a love potion y'all what diced tomatoes scallions parmesan cheese parmesan cheese exactly buddy tell me it's not so we're gonna put
