check this out the idea of all of us are trying to hit two types of freedom okay I want to offer you this came up through several one-on-ones recently attachment freedom versus true freedom okay meaning like we have lived in a place of attachment freedom and what I mean by that is we often want to get our circumstances a certain way so we don't have to feel something that we felt a long time ago all of us have experiences where we felt trauma and so we try to get our circumstances in a way so we don't have to feel that again and I've been talking to so many clients and finding patterns in all of them you know whether it was one client saying you know when I was standing by a fence like my mom didn't pick me up at the school and I felt abandoned and ever since then wanting to avoid feeling that abandonment one way he does it is through music and you know and thinking I need music otherwise I'm going to feel abandoned and thinking of all the different clients that I had at times where a parent got really mad or one of my awesome clients that said like you know he wants people to trust him and then we realized that he had a dad that said you know got mad if he lied to him so he needed to make sure his dad trusts him so he didn't get angry so imagine that you're trying to get your circumstances a certain way so you don't have to feel the deeper thing that you're scared of that's attachment based freedom meaning like I have this circumstance the way I want it so I don't have to feel that circumstance so then there's true freedom which is where you transcend and get past the part of you that felt the trauma in that right so most of us have spent most of our life being an attachment freedom finding relationships with the people that feel like that blocks the feeling of the trauma that you have to feel like oh this person is with me so I don't have to feel abandoned in fact often we look for the type of people that might abandon us because they feel familiar and then what our ego does is it tries to very much keep them because it both feels the high that they're here so you're not abandoned by them and the horror of them leaving is where you feel the abandoned abandonment so imagine that our whole life we've been doing what we can to keep our circumstances the certain way to not feel that trauma and now imagine that the world is doing what it's doing by going past that it's like you cannot keep your circumstances away that you want anymore so it's forcing us to be with that deepest trauma and that's why there's so much anger that's one of many reasons there's so much anger right there's so much anger because you're hitting my trauma and I can't manipulate my circumstances to not have this trauma hit so you know in one way there's actually something birthing here that's really big people being faced with feeling through the thing they most don't want to feel which can be a good thing because then you're gonna be free of it right so that's freedom trauma where we're no longer that story of abandonment or rage or whatever that we went through when we were five years old because right now everyone's feeling the rage so if you notice what's going on in the world and it's bringing up rage for you that's because you don't get to manipulate your circumstances enough to avoid this feeling right you have we've had it where we didn't have to in certain ways fully feel our circumstances our truth because we could always many of us could manipulate our circumstances just enough right just you might be broke but like now life gives you credit cards that you can just go into enough debt and be in a position where okay or are the relationships not good I can just manipulate this and get in another relationship and not have to feel myself we can keep manipulating circumstances and now look at it like the world is finally like all of us have to face our biggest all of us have to what it doesn't matter how whether it's through looking at a crazy racist society whether it's looking at the hate that's inside of all of us whether it's looking at not being able to know for sure where the money is going to come which forces us to be not loved to our parents whether what the hell it is all the shit's coming up and I on one level love to focus on what's going on in the world but on another level ask myself what can I contribute vibrationally by clearing out what's coming up in me that to me for me is the best contribution I can make is going what is in me that is not me because a new world could exist that I don't have that buried shame rage judgment Hey all of us have that right so there's one level where there's a group of people that are out there and they're they're fighting and and that's amazing and then there's people internally fighting too we're all doing everything we need to do and no matter where you are we're all growing we're all growing everyone is stepping forward and and and growing doesn't always feel good in fact growing doesn't feel good 90% of the time growing is like how do you find who you truly are well you have who you're not pulled from you and if you thought who you weren't is who you were for a long time like its death to you so we're all feeling the lie of death and the only thing that can die is what you thought you were that you're actually not if you if that part didn't have to die if your external circumstances didn't fall apart then you wouldn't have to face you you wouldn't have to because you can keep negotiating but now they've they're starting to take our ability to go to our vices away you can't go to a bar at night you can't even like just go to a dating site and date someone else you're quarantined you can't you can't get away from the fact that there is so much repressed hate inside of people you can't get away from the fact that we are not treating people right you can't get away from the fact that that we do we did we can't close our eyes to this anymore it's in your face and people some people like who have I become like this is the thing every person at one point will be like who have I become and there's two levels of forgiveness one is when you don't like who you've become and you get forgiveness from a person that you feel you've done something to but then the other one is when life shows you you and you didn't see it and it's not like you technically did anything wrong it's like you don't like what you are and then you see it so clearly that it's like you look from a new lens that's a different version of you that's a new version of you and then it flushes it out and you go I don't want to be that again for me it has nothing to do with did I get forgiveness from someone else I don't want to be that anymore right That's not me this is what is happening when you see the real you that's what happened to me at the darkness retreat right when I'm just stuck with myself in pitch-black darkness for ten days there is no getting away from it right and it was like there's two ways you can change your world one is you change the outside but it doesn't matter because the inside is still the same thing that created the outside so no matter how much you try to change the outside if you don't change the inside you're just gonna create another of the same outside you get what I'm saying meaning like if you're if at your core you're a messy person inside and then you have a day where you decide to clean the whole house eventually you're gonna make it messy again because the messies inside and life will mirror the inside no matter what life is mirroring your inside not only in your house not only in our relationships not only in your finances but in the world life right now is mirroring your inside and any trigger that you feel about the movements that are happening right now in the protests and the and the cops and everything that you feel is bringing up parts of you that might have judgment for other people parts of you that might have felt shamed parts of you whatever and it's here to go look this is stuck in you so instead of just changing the outside let's change the inside let's look at what's going on because no matter how much we change the outside if we don't change the inside we're gonna get more of the same outside we're gonna get more of the same outside so there's one level that we change the outside and there's another level where we we sit with ourselves we sit in meditation we sit and we do the work and we sit with ourselves and go what is not me oh look at me I'm an addict I go to addictions to not face the fact that I didn't feel loved in my past or that I feel like I've been a shitty parent for sometimes oh look I'm I'm I'm totally constantly living online so that I don't have to hear myself oh my god look at me I'm you know on whatever we could be like I'm on 17 dating sites or I'm on whatever I'm doing all the things I can I'm massively overeating I'm crazy I'm jealous I don't want to be that anymore right and and the way you actually transcend something is staying in the room with it without a distraction without an addiction taking you away from it until you look at it through new eyes and the longer you meditate the longer you sit with yourself it moves from one set of eyes to a new set of eyes do you get what I'm saying it moves from one set of eyes to a new set of eyes the longer you sit there eventually you move from being the pattern to the observer of the pattern and once you become the observer of the pattern you see it and once you see it it no longer serves you to be it so you might keep it going a little bit but eventually it has to leave because it's not you anymore you're the one who sees it and the longer you sit there the more you bring in another level of source looking at it and another level of source and another level of source and then eventually you see the whole world one thing I discovered in the darkness retreat was it was easier to forgive the entire world including me than just me I actually noticed this me that felt compassion for everyone that had the same judgment that I had for myself and I was just thinking about like all of the dads that realize they were on the phone and missed a moment with their kids or all of the moms that are you know wanting to do the things right and all of the you know all of the speakers all of the everybody in the world like all the people that are so hard on themselves and feel they can't forgive themselves oh my god it was so easy for me to feel forgiveness for them and I just felt tears and and release for them and noticed I was feeling forgiveness for myself too because we're all the same thing and I noticed it was easier to forgive the whole thing than just me to forgive myself was like I'm separate from everyone I got I like hone it in and stare at myself right but if you're connected to soar it's looking at everything it stops looking at just you it starts to see the world and the more you connect to source the more you're looking at the observer of the observer then you're like the observer of all of our patterns the observer of everything right so that's what I found to be true it was like don't try to just forgive yourself don't try to forgive the other people you feel good stuff to you look at the collective and look how easy it is to forgive someone else who's done things that you don't like that you've done about yourself and how easy it is to see it's someone else it's easy so you just felt bad for them and like don't hate yourself so long you're doing great right you just felt for them don't hate yourself so long you're doing great don't just look at yourself through other people's judgment that keeps you in that way or your parents judgment love yourself like forgive yourself for that for Humanity I'm thinking forgive yourself to those people for Humanity forgive yourself right forgive others for Humanity we could walk into the world tomorrow a little bit with more love and and quantum physics shows that if you bring that new consciousness to yourself you start to bring it to the world in other words literally when you meditate you're affecting your neighbour you're affecting the people down the street a new level of love is louder in the collective when you do that right so one of the things that's also happening is there is a massive amount of people who are meditating who are connecting to themselves who are like in this time people are stepping up to joining groups and and and yelling what they want and being in their truth and fighting and saying something speaking out and other people are are being seen and looking at themselves and then other people are just going okay this is my calling like for me to look at the news it's so chaotic right now that it goes okay meditate meditate meditate create today I painted a colored a picture of a cat like it was just like painting and I was meditating I was sitting with Viviane with her markers a cat I was like all d1 and I'm I was meditating I was doing arts and I was like this isn't like me to is really good like I was like this is it is so pretty and I was like oh like I'm just here creating and this is doing something - it sounds crazy to think in a time of injustice go color a cat but it is it's like bring a vibrational higher version of you to the world right one of the things we have to do is if you're here if you're someone that has this much awareness to want to hear this bring the most creative artistic loving version of you to the world right bring up mr. Rogers to the situation bring the Martin Luther King to the situation bring compassion bring up Picasso all right let's remind our son right Valerie Ann one of the greatest painters in the world your painting is right up against my piano like bring your art to the world that like move if you're if you were in a fighting vibration but you feel it's a higher vibration to be a loving vibration bring that up some people were in a victim vibration it might feel better to go to a fighting vibration and gain your power and then some people that have been fighting their whole life like oh I want to be in a loving vibration right and and it's all perfect all of them are perfect we're all moving up we're all moving up and even if you're completely ignorant to all this and don't know what's going on and are just chilling at your house and doing nothing and know nothing about vibration and consciousness you're in the game just as much as everyone else all right all of us are right all of us are in this together so what's your highest what's your freest is it just being with the shame the pain the judgment the hate the joy the fear the excitement all of those things that's coming up what is your truest you right the second feeling a meditation for that feeling compassion for that what is the greatest version of you right now what is it what is it what is the greatest version of you right now that's what we need
