worlds and destinies [Music] let god [Music] yes [Music] you cannot silence this [Music] let god rise [Music] [Music] [Music] destroys our come [Applause] [Music] on all over this let god [Music] [Music] come on hey [Music] listen i lived in las vegas for 20 years and i used to say this all the time and i believe it's the safer up here we don't have a drug problem we don't have a homelessness problem we have a lack of jesus problem because when jesus comes into a city everything changes when you flip on the light switch guess what happens there's no warfare versus darkness and light it's just darkness just goes here's what the scripture says in psalm 22 it says that the lord inhabits the praises of his people whoa what if we could with our worship tonight build him a throne that he would feel so comfortable so excited to come and just sit on this place let's go to that bridge that's why we sing as we build the throne and worship what all times [Music] as we build a throne in worship let god [Music] mountains are still being moved strongholds are still being loosed yeah god we believe it yes we can see it that wonders are still what you do bodies bodies are still being [Music] wonders are still what you do we are here for you come and do what you do we are here [Music] [Music] cause we need to move [Music] [Music] [Music] we are here [Music] oh [Music] [Music] miracles happened [Music] is coming in this room miracles happen when you move heaven [Music] is [Music] happen when you move [Music] is [Music] is [Music] is [Music] [Music] [Music] this is [Music] is [Music] [Music] [Applause] this is [Music] come on let's just [Applause] but let me give you some scripture this evening fred peter preaching on the day of pentecost echoes the prophet joel in acts 2 he says this in the last days god says i will pour out my spirit on all people your sons and your daughters will prophesy your young men will see visions your old men will dream dreams even on my servants both men and women i will pour out my spirit in those days and they will prophesy and i will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below come on what we are singing is what peter announced all the way back on the day of pentecost this is a move of god's spirit [Applause] i i would be honest with you i was hoping that by this vision weekend we'd be able to announce some things that we've been waiting on for the church some some new vision and some new projects and some new properties and some new campuses and and i was just hoping that by this vision weekend i'd be able to stand before this audience and and make some announcements about the upcoming vision for the house of god and here's what i felt like the lord spoke to me this weekend i felt like he shared this with me this morning and he said russell you're having a vision weekend not so you can announce something but so that i can announce something this is a move of my spirit [Applause] come on listen friend don't undersell the significance or the importance of what's happening in this moment come on do don't be like the leaders of old who fell asleep and said man surely god was in this place and i didn't even know it don't be so busy scrolling on social media you miss your breakthrough friend jesus is here today and where the presence and the spirit of the lord is watched there is freedom and there is liberty for those who are in captivity which means today your captivity your darkness your demons stand no chance in the presence of jesus [Applause] watch here's the good news of the gospel you're not what you've done you're what christ has done on your behalf you're not your addiction you're not your worst moment you're not your most embarrassed day you are the righteousness of god in christ jesus and what he says about you is the final word you're not your temptation you're not your diagnosis you're not your last mistake you are what jesus says you are [Applause] and watch this region is what jesus says it is come on do you believe this evening that his spirit is still hovering over the northwest come on in and by god's grace we're re-digging some wells come on we're re-digging into some living water come on this is what jesus prophesies in john 7 he says those who believe will receive and out of their innermost being will flow rivers of living water and jesus spoke these things concerning the holy spirit who was not yet given but how much now more in greater fashion living on this side of the cross do you and i have access to the same spirit that raised christ from the dead which now dwells in us and quickens our mortal body come on fred what we do in preaching is we publicly announce the kingdom of god is at hand it is not four months and then the harvest it is not try a little harder it's not strive a little bit more it's not in your own works try to conjure up an emotion friend the kingdom of god is at hand and although it suffers violence the violent taken by force and i'm inviting you into a passionate and even yes violent relationship with king jesus by which you lay a hold of that which he has laid a hold of you and you press forward towards the upward call of god which is in christ jesus come on fred the apostle john says it this way for this reason the son of god was made manifest to dismantle the works of darkness come on when jesus is in the room he doesn't negotiate with darkness he dismantles it we're not negotiating with sickness we're dismantling it we're not negotiating with oppression we're dismantling it we're not negotiating with addiction friend we're dismantling it and today just by being in this environment as we lift jesus up watch every other knee bows it's every other name bows its knee at the name of king jesus addiction bows its knee suicide bows its knee depression bows its knee cancer bows its knee terminal diagnosis bows its knee broken bodies bows their knee broken backs bow their knee they bow their knee at the name of jesus you ever see how jesus deal with demons it's never 17 paragraphs it's not a debate because when jesus enters the room it's simply a reminder that the enemy has already been defeated friend what you're feeling tonight is the spirit of god deep things of god crying out to the deep things of you reminding you of who you have always been to him where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty come on i just feel so strong in my spirit tonight there are friends here in this room come on you're hanging on to something that represents an addiction of old it might be a razor in your purse that you've used for cutting your body it might be a drug that you've held on to it might be an addiction that has held you back it might be paraphernalia that identifies you with your old graveyard way of living and i'm here to announce today that when jesus walks through the graveyards the earth begins to shake and tombs begin to open and dead men begin to walk and all of a sudden people begin to see that this jesus is the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the father except by him and friend your resurrection doesn't start when he returns it starts today listen in just a moment we're going to open the baptism tank and i know that there's people here tonight who have yet to be water baptized as an important step and act in their christ followership and in just a moment we're gonna make the tank available for you baptism is not a good idea it's not like brushing your teeth twice a day if you get around to it it's helpful no it's a command from jesus repent watch believe watch and be baptized no you don't have to have it all figured out no you don't have to have all of your theology perfect you certainly don't have to have your life all all well manicured and living perfect and sinless that's impossible anyways you just have to have enough faith to approach god and say i'm willing to follow you through the waters of baptism but listen i'm about to make two calls and i just want you to hear me clearly we're going to continue in worship we're going to celebrate we're going to invite people into the water we'll go baptize pray and we're going to see god do some incredible things tonight but listen friend if you're here this evening you're holding on to something i'm talking physically you're holding on to something come on you're holding on to something that has represented an old way of living prior to going in the baptism tank i want you to lay your paraphernalia at the altar and we're going to offer it as a sacrifice unto god listen where the spirit of the lord is there is freedom and there is liberty the message of the cross is not shame on you it's shame of you and today we're just going to come into agreement with what god says to be true about our lives this region our circumstance and our future is it just a mob i'm a count to three and if if that's you with this place this evening you say pastor i know that i haven't yet followed the lord through the waters of baptism i might not even be right with god but i want to be right with god today i want to start a new chapter in my relationship with him last night entire families got baptized come on we had old men and young men we had older women and younger women come on we had kids we had senior saints we had folks who had just given their life to jesus because when the spirit of god pours out on a region it brings all folks together come on fred tonight's your night tonight's your night tonight's your night i want to see god do something so powerful in your life that you never forget it i want this to be a line of demarcation a crossing over an experience that forever brands you forever marks your destiny tonight i want you to be touched by heaven tonight i want you to be marked by his goodness mark by his presence friend tonight's your night tonight's your night listen if you're in one of those two categories they say pastor i haven't been yet baptized i need to be or maybe you've been far from god for a long time but tonight you're rededicating yourself maybe you're here this evening you say pastor if i to be honest i'm hanging on to some stuff i'm hanging on to some things that have identified me with an old way of living come on when i make this call i want you to put it on the altar and i want you to get in this line to be water baptized because today is a day of new beginnings amen amen come on friend if you're ready if you're ready come on let your faith build come on let your faith build come on one come on two come on three quick quick quick quick come to the altar come on fred come to the altar quick come on quick quick quick quick come on don't miss it don't miss it don't miss it come on church you might be saying pastor i didn't even bring clothes to be water baptized listen better to be a fool for christ than wise in the world's eyes come on don't miss your opportunity come it's so important that as a church you recognize that every person we're baptizing it represents a changed family a changed generation come on a changed neighborhood a changed circle of relationships it's not just unto ourselves it's not just an individual act i think sometimes in the way that we process our relationship with god we overly individualize our own spirituality no one person in a family who really gets touched by god changes the trajectory for generations you're here today because someone somewhere in your generational line decided to be faithful to jesus you're not self-made you didn't get here alone some of you had a praying grandma a praying grandpa an aunt an uncle a youth pastor somebody who wouldn't give up on you a changed life every person we baptize and every person who responds to the gospel and everybody who finds themselves in right relationship with god then it's a reflection of a change in a generation that has a cascading effect that impacts people that you'll never meet and by the way that's why all of heaven celebrates when one comes home because heaven has a perspective that you don't heaven has a perspective that you don't we see things linear but we serve a god who is the alpha and the omega he's the beginning and the end he's the one who was and is and is to come and so when one comes home god sees the generational impact that's why even all over the old testament the father is referred to watch as the god of abraham the god of isaac and the god of jacob the one who is faithful to each generation i would dare you to believe today that your faithfulness and obedience to god isn't just about you come on you with me tonight come on you had your coffee on the way in i know it's labor day come on mom come on dad you know why it's important that you stay faithful to jesus because there's people who wait on the other side of your obedience there's folks who are waiting on the other side of your faithful stubborn commitment to the followership of king jesus that's why your freedom is so important because it's not just about you that's why your development is so important because it's not just about you that's why your public proclamation of faith is so important because it's not just about you there's a cascading impact in this region when people turn to the power and the reality of jesus come on just before we transition the service if you'd be here today you say pastor i know that's me tomorrow's not promised i want to make sure i'm right with god i want to make sure i'm following through to the waters of baptism come on friend before we close the tank would you just make your way quickly out of your seat come on it would do it it would do my heart glad this evening just to make sure nobody gets missed come on nobody gets overlooked nobody gets forgotten come on if that's you come on just make your way quick come on make your way quick come on make your way quick you may say pastor well i was sprinkled as a baby i was sprinkled as a baby in the catholic church i was come on fred we believe in baptism by immersion after a public confession of faith and so if you're here you've never been groundbreaking happened in seattle it changed the entire music scene they said 53 years ago today jimi hendrix played the seattle coliseum today as i read that this morning the lord said but today i'm releasing a new sound in the northwest [Applause] and as you and i continue to partner with god in faith declaring his promises over this region we're going to continue to see this thing grow and develop and build because to the increase of his kingdom there is no ends you are attached to an unlimited increase of god's kingdom and we're barely scratching the surface come on friend do you night saturday night three times sunday morning sunday night monday night and even when i go home at night i still sense the presence and the working of god's spirit it doesn't just stay here friend phone calls from friends in different states australia is watching [Music] big shout out to my friend paul giling there in brisbane australia all my australian friends that are watching maybe the recording of last night my wife flew home yesterday and we were supposed to be home on sunday night i was looking forward to barbecue today and some sunshine but god surprised me with some sunshine come on in snohomish county today [Music] somebody said come on man show me a miracle look outside sunshine is a miracle come on somebody in the northwest and some of you who live here i lived here for 10 years you're in denial you know what this is right here i call it being snake bit people that come and visit the seattle area oh my god look at the sunshine look at the mountains it's so beautiful they buy a house and they move here and they don't see sun for nine months come on where your hand you know what i'm talking about right you've been there you know the first time i when i moved up here it was the worst summer recorded in like i don't know a generation or something we had three weeks of sunshine during summer and i said lord why did you bring me to this place of darkness right and um and so it's just amazing that we are seeing what we're seeing in a place like this i don't ever stop giving honor to whom honor is due first of all we give honor to jesus because he's the risen king and we glorify him and it's all about jesus but maybe you're new to the church here and maybe you're looking for new church and i could see that for some of you honestly it's a little out there let's just be honest okay it is it's kind of like when i go to ufc and i see people fans they're little out there typically they have drinking a little bit too much and that alcohol which is called spirits has come inside them and all inhibition is gone i know it's out there but this is not what you suppose they are not drunk with wine as peter says as you suppose but there's something when you get filled with the holy spirit there's something when you have life change that happens and and i can't explain it to you you can only experience it yourself and there are people in here in this room that maybe you see them jumping and shouting and maybe you came from a conservative background i'm hispanic latino mexican i know somebody thought i was middle eastern nothing wrong with that nothing wrong with that i'm not i'm pleased here in my heart nothing wrong with that but i'm from l.a amen anybody from la la land wave your hand at me i don't even know why you're up here then and um and i forgot my point now oh so so i i'm a roman catholic i i was a catholic growing up and went to catholic church being my first holy communion and my father back then his name was father bunny i'm not making the story up bunny like like a bunny rabbit and i always had a heart for god and i may get emotional because my dad was a bookie barnard drinker gambler owned the vagabond bar in l.a involved in illegal stuff my mom wasn't a christian i don't come from a christian home i'm the first christian in my family and when i said yes to jesus i said yes to jesus in a baptist church was a little bit different than a roman catholic church just a little bit different catholic church you say you know the lord is within also with you you know it's it's an echo it's an echo kind of a thing then i go to a baptist church and they're preaching about the bible and as a third grader i said yes to jesus and i i shared jesus with a mom when i was from third grade a fifth grader and my my mom said yes to jesus when i was a fifth grader and my dad said yes to jesus listen when i was a sixth grader and for one year he kept doing the business and then finally just one day he woke up he said i can't do that anymore god's leading me another direction and my dad we went we went from making hundreds of thousands of dollars back in the 70s when money is really money come on somebody now bitcoin is in come on somebody help me i would go through e3 if i were you but that's a that's my financial tip for the day and i remember my dad saying yes to jesus and he went and started driving a truck for about seven dollars an hour supporting a family of seven and i'm like it don't make sense dad i mean when you come to jesus everything's supposed to get better we blew through our savings i don't even know why i'm telling the story it's not in the script but i just need to tell somebody the story because you need to understand this is reality this is not like like some show we blew through the savings and my dad was working hard and my dad refused to go back my dad refused to go back to making lots of money without jesus and and i i tell you stories when he gathered us around and he said hey i'm the oldest son i have a younger brother i'm the oldest and good looking one and my younger brother is younger and ugly and if you if you saw him you would say amen to that amen and he said this to me said to the family says it looks like we're going to lose the house i don't know why you would say this to me i'm 10 years old that was 47 years ago he said but we're never going to stop tithing and giving to god now in my little head i'm thinking that don't make sense because when you don't have money you got to hold on to the money but in the kingdom when you don't have money you got to trust god with your money i can tell you the long story how god did a miraculous turnaround how not only did we get to keep the house but now my parents are living in that same house debt-free as god did a miracle all those years ago this is my testimony my parents then got exposed to a latin pentecostal church if you think this is crazy and weird you've never been to a latin pentecostal church where the tambourines are going and worship goes for like an hour and a half you don't need tybo you burn enough calories come on somebody just dancing long hair is coming down because they have buns in their hair and they're and sister maria's swinging around like it's a helicopter doc you know because she's going to smack you no this is real stuff the pastor would get up and preach for like over an hour then they have altar calls for over an hour now it's lunchtime service started at 9. they didn't say an hour 10 minutes we got to get everybody out they say you're here we're going to make you work in jesus name you know but but i could tell you it was no different it was a little strange but there was something as a kid that said there's something in the atmosphere there's something different i can tell you i begin to see incredible things happen and sorry to say but i i walked away from god when i was in high school from from ninth grade about tenth grade all the way till i was 21 years of age and then i had that supernatural encounter with jesus on a beach in 1986 at san onofre state state beach right by the nuclear power plants and i literally i could say almost hurt the audible voice of god when god said to me it's time to come home there was no led screen there was no handsome bearded man some of you should laugh it makes you look younger stress is a killer laugh a little bit sir okay you know i in fact when they were baptizing i i asked maria i said is this the splash zone she said yes that's why i moved to the platform i like my fear of gods too much i'm sorry jesus to get him wet and i heard jesus tell me sir i heard jesus once you look at me i heard jesus speak to me i'm studying to be an accountant at cal state fullerton i'm being recruited by the top back then it was like the the top four or five accounting firms i mean i i was on with trajectory i was i was wanting to get that great job land a great job make that money and do that thing and and i remember i'm a senior at cal state fullerton i have this encounter with jesus and he says to me he says to me he says he says to me he says benny it's time to come home and i started bringing up all the stuff that i had done all the crazy stuff i had done all the things i'm sitting in the back of the church i have the only reason why i went to church because it's it's go to church and pay no rent or don't go to church and pay rent i'm an accounting major i'm going to go to church had nothing to do with spirituality at all nothing and maybe you're here because well you're here because a family member invited you here because okay they keep on bugging me my wife my husband i'm just see i don't sir i don't i don't know why you're here i don't know what circumstances ma'am brought you here i don't even know why you're watching online all i know is you are watching or you're here by divine appointment there's there's no there's there's no denying that and friends if i told you all the supernatural encounters i had with jesus from that one moment in 1986 when i was a young man and all these years later seeing the hand of god in my life seeing god in the deepest valleys that i've had to walk through in my life like deep valleys of death and deep valleys of situations that to this day i still can't explain it so i just got to keep trusting him i'm not here to tell you that as a preacher that my life has been incredible my life has been awesome and i'm serving jesus and it's like you know on the yellow brick road even the wizard of oz and the yellow brick road had some issues there was a wicked witch come on somebody but the bible says this the bible says crazy stuff like this jesus said in this life you will have tribulation but take heart i have overcome the world see having jesus doesn't inoculate you or insulate you from problems it just assures you he's going to walk with you through the problems having jesus doesn't keep you from the valley is that jesus keeps you in the midst of the valley having jesus is not like this you know get out of you know a cart get out of jail card no having jesus is i'll never leave you i'll never forsake you and the darkness of my soul there was a light that was still brighter than the pain in my heart his name is jesus when i was on the platform there was a young lady that came running up didn't ask for it she she is she here where did she go the young lady that handed me this can you come up here for a second she comes running up here and i is this a vape is that is that what it is okay just come on up i don't know i don't i don't vape that's not a joke i just i don't know but you came running up unscripted because see i want you to know this is real these are real people real lives come on real challenges and let me say this to you [Applause] i want to stop and i'm going is it one two third row the guy has his hand like this on your chin yes i don't know you i could just tell you this i don't know you at all i don't know why you're here i don't know i don't really know anything about you other than you're cool i like blue um but i was just standing there and i turned around was up there and i just got it it may not make any sense to you sir but sir god's favor is on you god's hand is on you you've even been sensing them today in the worship experience i don't know you but just can you stand up so people know i'm talking to a real human being who's next to you who's that next to you you don't know her okay are you here with anybody okay can you put your hands on your heart what's your name hey peter nice to meet you my name is benny we can hang out i like you already we'll go out to dinner your treat i'm a cheap date chick-fil-a's open today you're so serious then you start you start cracking jokes it's my style laughter opens up the heart peter i just speak to you right now favor of god on you sir you're so hungry you're so hungry god i don't want religion god i don't want to just go through the motions jesus i want to encounter you the living jesus keep your eyes closed the bible says that jesus is speaking to peter and he says peter peter satan has asked you to sift you as wheat but i have prayed for you this is a word for you there's been some sifting some challenges some issues but i hear the spirit of god saying tell him tell him that i myself jesus has prayed for him and when he is strengthened he's going to turn and help others power god's going to touch you sir in about three seconds i don't know what that means for you but here he comes one two three boom now bam just hit you why did he do that don't know have you ever ever grabbed a hold of electricity you're not going to go oh what's that let me tell you something about something manifestation because some of you get a little weirded out over that you know when i was clubbing anybody club before let me see your hand if you club you better raise your hand you're lying in church if you don't raise your hand okay let me some of you some of you are resisting me i could feel i'm going to point you out right now in just a moment how many ever had a little bit too much to drink once in your life okay you're still lying some of you should raise both hands and your feet give me a big amen right now you know what i'm talking about you know i was clubbing back in the day first of all when i clubbed on friday i didn't say that's all for the weekend i wanted to go saturday night then i actually found a club that was open up on sunday come on somebody you know that's a bad club when it's open on god's day you know what i'm talking about no no just look at me just look just look just look this is what happened i and and we come to church and we come we come to jesus like okay sunday's enough for one hour but but there's something about i was here on friday then i got i got to have more i was here on saturday someone was doing on sunday morning come on sunday night and you're here on a monday night but you know when we used to party and i could tell a bunch of stories when somebody got a little bit too much to drink and they're laughing and jumping on tables and you know falling on the ground typically nobody ever said oh that's weird we just knew it was just part of the process they had too much to drink it's interesting that culture will tell us what's normal for them is weird for us and i'm going to push back on culture a little bit because they fall for one reason and some of us may get touched so strong that we can't stand and friends it's not weird it's just you being having so much of a supernatural encounter with jesus that some of us we just can't stand i've had people cry this incredible sense of love hits them a lot of people go oh my god i'm not right with god jesus i cry out to you and they get saved in the moment it's all part of the process so you came running up walking up to me i was i was back there i was like batman with my black that's good huh i gotta stay funny because i got young people sitting on the ground and you came up to me what this is just real what motivated you to come up hand this to me and i know what you said to me but can you just articulate just for a moment and what's your name your name is brittany okay brittany can you just explain i'll hold the powerful when you say god i trust you with my finances there's something powerful when i say god no matter what i put you first the greatest test that we will ever face in our life is who do you put your trust in do you put your trust in god or in money listen when i say this money promises you what only god can do for you it promises you security but only god could give you that i have friends that have made a lot a lot of money i when i say a lot of money i'm talking about over 100 million dollars and more i can tell you my friends have told me things like man benny when i made the 50 when my 75 made the hundred i thought my life would change but it didn't change and what happened was is that they begin to realize that money should never be worshipped it should be utilized and that they have found their identity and their trust in jesus see listen to me god's not against you making a lot of money please hear me when i say this don't listen to people that say well you got to be poor to show your spirituality listen if i had a choice between poor and having money i'd rather have some money that's just being real okay you're not any different because you make a lot of money or you don't make any money we have the same standing before god come on sons and daughters of god but what i want to encourage you is if you are blessed and you make resource god wants you to utilize not apologize and utilize your money come on for the kingdom of god i'm going to tell you he didn't tell me to tell you this if you go to this church i believe in the tithe what's tithe is ten percent why why do we do 10 well you know they want your money it's never been about money the number 10 in the bible is the number of testing that's why daniel said give us 10 days and test us that's why the five foolish and the five wise the 10 virgins it's a test of trust watch me now pharaoh was tested with how many plagues 10 plagues everywhere you see in the bible 10 is the number of testing how many disciples did jesus have 12 just testing you and when i realized the revelation that it's about the test of my heart because if god gets my heart come on he gets everything else billy graham which everybody would respect him he said this he said if a christian would get the money issue right in his life most of their other issues would fall into place so i'm telling you i started my journey of generosity tithing ever since i was a kid i mean i had the opportunity of working at a fortune 500 company at the age of 15 and a half a fortune 500 company sir i mean i was working my way up really wow what fortune 500 company mcdonald's see that's the problem you laugh but i looked at it as a fortune 500 company i didn't look at it as a minimum wage job paying me 260 an hour or whatever it was back in that day seemed like two six an hour yeah 260 and i'm looking at my life i've been tithing since the age of 10. when i was 10 years old i had the largest avocado distribution company on my block i know you're laughing i had an employee of my younger brother i sent up into the avocado tree that my parents have he picked the avocados throw them down we take a little truck and we go door to door savacado's like 12 for a buck or something like that i come back with ten dollars my dad's like my dad would tell me this okay ladle and he says that first dollar bill yes son yeah that that belongs to god i never argued with them i go i get to keep nine i didn't even i didn't even plant the avocado tree i didn't even i didn't even work for the avocados i just picked them and my life has never been the same even when i've gone through heartache and pain and barely making it i've always given to god so i'm going to ask you to prayerfully consider in generosity start in the generosity of of tithing and then even if you don't part of this church you know what ask the holy spirit what you should give in this moment of generosity why should i do that look at the vision of changed lives look what god is doing in this church in this moment and i'm telling you what this building is too small god's going to give us come on some more locations some more places to reach more people and so when we see john chapter 3 verse 16 some of us who are football fans we will see those signs come on john 3 16 when they're kicking right a field goal or something right and we see that over and over again and most of the world knows this verse for god so loved the world but in this i just was praying this afternoon i felt like this was the message the holy spirit wanted me to give somebody just for a few moments and give you three short points and they're very simple to to remember but number one you have to understand that you are number one you are loved for god so loved for god so loved stop there for god so loved watching online that god is love it's not an attribute of god it is who god is so that means god is motivated by love everything he does listen to me young people adults everything he does towards you and towards me is motivated come on out of love so god is love the definition of love is god and god is love so for god right so loved watch me the world because love has to have an object like like like i love my mom i love my dad i love my wife i love my kids i don't love my dog come on somebody i got a french bulldog from belgium he's up for sale my wife like no other i love my kids like no other i guess oh your kids i love your kids i love them but not like i love come on my own kids now watch this the object and intensity of god's love for god so loved the what the world he didn't say the church he said the world in other words god so loved the world the fallen world not the perfect world he loves so loved the people come on somebody in the world in other words god is proclaiming something to you and to me he's not loving the perfect oh together when they only come to him god loves the world not just one person but the whole world his object is the human race all people no matter who they are or what they have done now now we say that and we we we would say that but then we have trouble with that now i'm going to tell you this god loves the perverted person i may not god loves the murderer i may not god loves the liar and i do not see we love that which we think is lovable but god loves even that which we think come on somebody is unlovable for while you were yet a sinner come on christ died for you christ did not die for a righteous person christ did not die for a perfect person but but the bible says for god so loved the world that he what see love is not a noun but it's a verb love always has an action behind it love is not descriptive but an action word for god so loved the world what does the bible say that he gave that he gave that he gave that he gave i like to say it this way you could give without loving but you cannot love without giving i say that again because you missed it you could give without loving but you can never love come on somebody without giving you never can i love my wife i don't just tell her i love her but because now well yeah you have to get her that you have to do that then you have to know i don't have to do anything i love my wife i will lay down my life for my wife i love my kids i got two sons and i really love my one daughter come on help me i got two sons sacraments if you just do this and do that then maybe just maybe god will accept you but that is not what the bible says the bible says we've all fallen short and we all fallen short of the glory of god and what is the answer it's not you trying harder what is the answer you're trying to qualify yourself what is the answer is that you yield and you accept the free gift of salvation that comes from jesus christ by what he did on the cross over 2000 years ago for god so loved the world that he that he gave his one and only son hi it was many years ago when some of you know i was youth pastor here in a smaller community called marysville come on somebody any mirrors or people here yeah i know you came a long way it's just snohomish you have to cross the little trestle or whatever they call benny they look scared i said what they said that the most powerful warlock in arlington washington is here tonight and and he has some people with him what do we do one number one if he's that going on and i turn around and this 15 year old 16 year old kid skinny kid is taking some of the security safety team who are bigger guys and they're they're saying hey can you play and they take him he's throwing them he's literally throwing them like like with his forearm and they're just crashing against the wall and i'm like okay so i just keep worshipping i start walking and when the two junior warlocks saw me walking back there they ran out he did not disciple them very well but before we laugh that's what jesus disciples did also and the guy's looking at me and he's got supernatural strength he's demon possessed could see it all over him i walk up to him i grab his forearm i said in the name of jesus i render you helpless supernatural strength leaves i grab my forearm and i walk them out same building marzel first right over there and we're in the lobby with the glass doors and he's standing probably from me to where that screen is and he goes i'm like you okay i'm not making this up he's like i'm like dude you got a spit what do you got to do he's like i'm like whoa too much hollywood movies he says this time he goes he goes benny perez i'm like you don't have to say it that way be nice play nice he says to me this benny perez i curse you and i curse this place i said oh bro i would not try and curse me because it's gonna bounce off the blood of jesus it's not good you can't curse me bro no this is true because i curse you i curse all this and within six months you will be gone and this thing will die all right i think okay didn't teach me this in my bible talk for like over an hour an hour and a half didn't tell him really about jesus just hey bro tell me your story tell me what's going on told me story why he's homeless why he's living on the street he's 21 his girlfriend's probably about 16 17 she's underage and we're just there we're just talking they finally kicks out the pizza place right as we're walking out i say to him i said hey man you know i listen to your story and just want to tell you just really quickly why we're doing what we're doing i want to tell you about jesus he's not bro i don't got time for that i don't want to talk to you about jesus and his girlfriend says no we don't want to do that we don't want jesus i said bro you told me when we were sitting now you got tired of people that never listened to you i listened to you for over an hour and a half and i'm asking you not to do what people have done to you so you got to be as wise as serpents his girlfriend says let's go and he says no no no just leave him just even though she goes okay whatever he says okay tell me i started talking about jesus and he sees what he tells me god on his truth he says to me i used to go to church i said okay let's talk bro because i've heard about jesus i've heard about his power i've heard about all this stuff but i never ever experienced his presence he says i am a i'm into wiccan i'm a wiccan i'm a witch a warlock i will deliverance you know you know we'll pray for food or deliver i mean and and i see him and and my heart goes out to him and i'm like god this is crazy the holy spirit says i love him i love him drunk addicted i love him i don't want i'm not telling him to clean up and they come to me i love him in his drug in due state i love him i love him just as he is i love him that much i can't i didn't take a class how to deliver a heroin addict on the street all i knew to do was this i just i said i i grabbed him i grabbed him he's a little bigger than me i began to pray for him i said jesus you love him jesus i come against this addiction i come again and i felt the evil spirit not every addiction is an evil spirit but this one was and i began to rebuke the devil and on the street he begins to manifest he hits the ground people are like call 9-1-1 i said no don't call 9-1-1 this is not that what you suppose and we're doing deliverance on the street with this kid i wish i could tell you the warlock got saved he did not get saved and have radical salvation but he'll never forget that encounter and one day i might run into him somewhere and said man that was me man that was me that was me and i didn't believe that god loved me i didn't believe it but you were relentless and you looked at me and said god loved you a young man gets delivered i tell you i'm sitting in a restaurant and god speaks to me talk to the waiter my wife's with me and i said okay and i said hey man what's your name young lady what's your name is my name i said i know this sounds strange i said god loves you she says oh okay and i said can i hold your hand she's like weirdo i said this is my wife wendy i i just kind of just shake your hand for a second i shook her hand and then god gave me a word within within 30 seconds i give her a word and she starts shaking at the table she goes oh my god who are you they always say you're a psychic and then i say no i'm a mexican everybody laughs she runs away i'm like wait a second we haven't put in our order you know she comes back no this is a true story she comes back and she says no seriously who are you i said to you i said my name isn't important i said but god loves you so much that he gave me just a little information about you to let you know he knows what's going on in your life i said let's pray the prayer i said don't close your eyes or anything let's just pretend you're taking my order and we pray a prayer together you see your love number one and number two write this one down that will never change romans 8 says what shall separate you from the love of christ it lists everything demons principalities powers circumstance situations anything in life and it says no you are more than a conqueror nothing shall separate you from the love of christ the love of god which is found in christ jesus our lord i'm going to tell you this and and and and russell was getting his phd who's one of the most learned young men on the planet and i sit and i say teach me some things because i still need to learn because i'm not as smart as you you're really smart and and you only you could pull off that haircut that's all i got to say that's how cool he is you know what we do at the church i'm almost done you know what i'll do the church we preach like jesus loves you just as you are and then they come and then we start slapping all this stuff on them it's like bait and switch i thought jesus loved me just as i am here's the gospel jesus loves you just as you are but he loves you too much to let you stay the same way jesus to me but the bible says that all heaven rejoices not when somebody comes out of a wheelchair and that's a beautiful thing now when somebody gets healed that's a beautiful thing now when somebody gets delivered from an addiction that's a beautiful thing but the only one in scripture says that'll have all heaven rejoices is only in one text and it says oh heaven rejoices when one person not 20 not 30 when one person come on says yes to jesus oh heaven rejoices that's that's what the bible says and i stayed another night and i don't know are you announcing tomorrow are we
