Exploring Al Capones Former 16.5 Million Dollar Mansion Built In 1898

[Music] so [Music] what's up everybody today we're filming an insane mansion probably one of the most beautiful places i've ever been into i mean look at this look at that i'm gonna take you all through this place show you every single detail let's get into it so this first room has this amazing chandelier and there's one on the other side too absolutely huge so this mansion was actually built in 1898 making it over 120 years old it's almost incredible it's still standing today this fireplace is amazing [Music] do [Music] let's head over this way got a bathroom over here and then we got this room look at this ceiling this place is just so beautiful i'm gonna go down this way later because it's like an office that was like added on so we're gonna check that out last because it doesn't really go with the theme guys just look at the detail in this fireplace that is absolutely beautiful it goes really well with this ceiling these hallways are crazy the stairs let's keep heading down here we'll do a full detail on the stairs in a minute it's caution tape i got a fan on here check this room out another crazy room this has some cool uh hidden cabinets in here also um it's crazy like i don't want to break it but let's see if the other side works yeah he's like roll out and cover up the window it's really pretty this must have been a library of some sort i wonder if these lights work i do see power on in here no okay let's head out of that room that's a beautiful window oh it's so nice let's try this light switch oh it worked another room this one's nice and bright no fancy wall though or ceiling i love these bookshelves okay let's check out the main area now this is beautiful guys this is like marble and like gold leaf it's just absolutely beautiful sadly the floor is covered with wood they started doing work on this place i don't know if they still are they need to restore it though here's the main entrance a really nice like iron door and i guess a guest bathroom for everybody comes and visits tree big and spacious here's a staircase this is beautiful okay we're heading up the stairs see what this place has to offer i'm joined by uh um it doesn't go anywhere yes it's just a little closet see if we can check out some bedrooms possibly look at that i like this cool staircase we'll head up there in a little bit little pink room it looks like they ripped this part it's probably the bathroom looks like we have another bedroom over here nice and white love the moldings the molding is just so ornate then looks like maybe a yeah bathroom closet totally ripped apart this hasn't been a house in a long time they're using it as different things different businesses i think all the bathrooms are tore out yeah sad [Applause] that's a pretty room switch continue over here see if there's any rooms over here got a nice door over here oh it's got a picture on it it might be a bathroom it might be men's bathroom and yeah it's truly tore apart wc maybe woman's closet um this is pretty i was looking out this window and i saw this cabinet kind of thing it's like blinds i think our shutters they come out like that that's cool i've never seen anything like that that's awesome oh this is actual balcony [Applause] it's pretty yeah places definitely get a lot of work done [Applause] okay let's actually go up these stairs now hello the stairs are all marble oh wow okay this part has definitely been ripped apart a bit it's kind of sad that they would take a lot of this out oh there's doors four frames like it could look the same from the outside but from the inside there's to take everything out of it mostly just empty rooms not too impressive definitely dig the wallpaper though i'm just gonna go through these pretty quickly do you want to check out these cabinets before i go back down [Music] work gloves really pretty though yeah empty okay let's head back down there so next to the stairs they have this big old i think it was a sanctuary at one point um but they're completely just redoing this oh wait here get a picture of what it used to look like probably right in this corner just gonna line it up real quick so i do believe this was taken like right about here big difference oh look guys they actually have a picture of the uh the stairs too that's beautiful look at all the paintings in there in the back so it's like a little walk through here not too much to see they're really um gutting this part but it's still pretty it's pretty tore up look at all the tools jesus it's mainly the ceilings the ceilings are beautiful especially over here a little stairway over here not sure where this leaves nice window oh i'm above it so there's actually a little stairs down over here go check this out oh it keeps going it's like just really big just more oh my goodness nothing left here nothing this is probably a really open wide room and they just they're building walls in it now so yeah this is not that pretty stairs go up stairs go down take some stairs down okay let's head down yeah it looks like more the same it's a big window though some lights up here though looks interesting break room [Music] oh yeah this is like their makeshift office it's pretty dark down here [Applause] go towards this fan it's hot in here so this fan feels nice kind of looks like a hospital wing [Music] sorry guys it's probably pretty loud on your end oh nice stairs it seems like possibly a kitchen down here yeah definitely in the kitchen [Music] [Music] this big freezer door [Music] on this side it looks like we have some nice checkered floors and a bathroom men i think there's some nice towing here at one point oh what the heck smoking section non-smoking section they just had a whole room that's smoking what i don't get this oh those keys oh yeah that's a lot of keys okay so i made it into those offices these don't look very special but uh we'll check them out they look like rooms what if there's like an old folks home at one point or something i have to look up some history yeah this doesn't really match pretty ugly kind of reminds me of a covenant oh it's wet here there's another floor of this i like this window that's nice [Music] seems a little more damaged all empty though so that's going to do it for this video i hope you guys enjoyed this place i loved it it's absolutely
