EVA Airline BUSINESS CLASS Review, New York to Bangkok Thailand

I feel like I've been troubling a lot lately but this is gonna be one of the last trips for a while when it's Highland and this was pretty unexpected I got a message from the cultural department in Thailand they're inviting me to charm my to take a look at how they grow rice now Thai rice is my ultimate favorite rice in the world I love it I got a bag of it right on my kitchen plus I never meant to Chum it-- before so this was a easy yes and this is gonna be a really short trip I think is total about four days so I'll be back by Valentine's Day to sit on my couch and watch Netflix by myself but exciting thing I never flew Yeva airline business class before but I'm doing that today so excited to try it out I heard the food ISM crap I just remember you but air like has a book the cook as well just like Singapore and you're supposed to do it 24 hours before you I didn't do it oh wow see this is what happens when you're not prepared this could be the ultimate airline food regrets [Music] before heading to the airport meeting couple friends for late lunch this is a really good restaurant Kabul kebab house for Afghan food best barbecue lamp yes this is an amazing so lamb beef beef roasted tomatoes this is Lawrence and Mo by the way we're talk about something really interesting I'll tell you guys when it's most further but it's gonna be really really fun of it did not know us like that well that's pretty I think this is prettier BBQ and as the regular lamb shank SMO says this hot sauce is amazing right here awesome hot sauce and as a side note we got whatever public I'll to Nerdist A's gosh this comes off no seriously it's TV's a fragile sticker it was my favorite day I love this place okay Airport dinner part two dinner party dinner number two try hotpot from that place and there's some happy lemon cheese foam green tea so here's my meal two rice one I think this is a three pound worth of stir-fry and am I happy eleven this is one of my favorite things in the world cuz sometimes you want the hot pot without the broth you know I got some bok choy fatty beef some tripe little cilantro little tofu skin this is a two person meal that's why they give me to rice to go with it but I always like eating a nice meal before a flight airplane food it's a gamble and it's a risk I don't usually like to take take some needs oh my god I so sad fatty beef down usually I would just eat it off the table but I don't have nasty this day boys I'm at the New York food court which is not the new world mall but the other part when I come here because first of all you got happy lemon which is just my favorite guilty pleasure drink of all time and then is wait less people here I got about seven more hours till my play I'm gonna eat here then go go to a copy do some work in here to the airport [Music] so my previous couple experience is flying Eva premium economy I didn't love it I didn't think the food was that good I didn't think that the service was all that nice but I heard the business class is amazing so we'll see we're gonna review the heck out of this so check it was okay the only thing is if you have TSA PreCheck you're not gonna be able to use it with Eva airline for summary this is a really really weird so they're not able to put your peach egg onto their boarding ticket never experienced that before but if you have free shag it doesn't really work on this airline and flying Eva airline you get access to the Lufthansa lounge [Music] like I mentioned before this trip I was contacted by the Department of Foreign Trade of Thailand they're basically inviting a bunch of media people to go to sign in and see how the rice is cultivated and harvested and why is some of the best writers in the world and that I 100% agree I love Thai rice it's basically the only rice I never keep in my house so so on this trip I'm flying into Bangkok in the right of way going to Chum and that's where all the rice fields are and I learn how to cook Thai desserts this is gonna be amazing stay tuned I'm so jealous right now it's about midnight just give me your idea yesterday I went to bed at 3 p.m. I think I need to drink something and eat impression we're really really nice and personable the flight attendant basically came up introduce herself just a really really nice gesture so first they call this an overnight bag just a regular amenities bag talks toothpaste toothbrush stuff I don't know what to do with wow this is the fully business class I've ever flown that give you pajamas I'm really liking this airline now I don't know who Jason Lewis but I can't wait to put this on it feels pretty soft overall everything is really comfortable so the layout of the plane is have business-class seats on each side and then two in the middle the only thing bad about the middle is that there's no divider screen so you're pretty connected to your neighbor but the spaces is nice it's comfy the only thing I'm not seeing is the main use paint on paint let's see here this is the B 777-300 oh by the way for you aviation experts out there can I put this on the last time I had pajamas on the airline Korean airline first class I might take this one with me house isn't is easy there we go first of all this is a pretty menu that really focused on this green theme here alcohol basically wasted on me smoked chicken red pepper on tone sounds good sort of bread oh my gosh hors d'oeuvres we lobster the sun dried tomato rusty spicy bass with champagne awards do chicken which has more red dates welcome to select star special emoji enjoy more good time in flight although the differences royal dining and star special so i guess these are the anytime food stood for our noodles seafood beef burger mmm I think I'm gonna go for the star special these noodle soup for me Trump's sea bass and stewed chicken really not a huge movie selection this is why always download your own listen trainees is called central sensuous surely talk it's basically a rough story entrance entire lifetimes this is some heavy stuff don't watch this without a box of tissues round one is their wheels chicken and toes and this is their pepper and cheese on toast is to some tea a scooty we wouldn't expect anything less from the time [Music] the chicken is really smoky Wow slightly over salted probably to account for the altitude but really flavorful Shangri a little sweet coño smoke even after I swallowed it my mouth Thurston set up a fire detector tomatoes cheese over toast basically after shoutout so far so good those tears really usually I heard you're not supposed to get to your because the water day uses can't help it I gotta get some tea every time as soon as I put it funny but really strong beefy flavor so for dinner I got the beef noodles with bok choy it's a really small dinner portion a bit of mushroom cheese soup with some days and chicken and the beef noodles are really dry a little bit of preserved vegetables now I'm kind of wishing I got the sea bass it's not a lot I'm I have to do dinner number two real soon how these charges are cool look at this little plastic grip middle chopsticks and this is literally like a to biter in a bok choy be tendon but this is a really really beef just some regular noodles no sauce on the bottom she's having the lobster and it looks really good I hate food regret signature respect so those are good there's a coconut here along with the little crystal mushroom very crunchy little sweet do chicken flavor see see my misunderstanding came because I thought this was just going to be the replacement for the main course and I was gonna get like the lobster salad and everything like as to as the starter and the I didn't think like this is this is all beginning what's gonna ask but I I really didn't have a lot of time to order because I had to order really quickly so this was a pretty big food mistake I mean it's still my tastes really good I mean the chicken soup is really good I'm sure the beef noodles it's not gonna be bad but man that lobster look good I mean it's a big piece of lobster everyone has it been me I'm just gonna swallow my sorrow my sorrow tastes like chicken I think for the evening or sooo I'm supposed to flip this in here [Music] the beef itself is really good I'm gonna be food everything you want in the ball colony she feels but the noodles themselves pretty much tasteless they don't flavor really do need to preserve vegetables otherwise and really the noodles themselves are just theirs without the beef in that preserved veggies this is a porter lying inedible don't do what I just did don't make the same to it ordering mistake I did on this wife this is don't get this she's cake and fruit she's a pretty cake that's the best thing I had today on this play like a super hairy lemonade cheesecake stop I realized I don't even have to chew it I'm still really hungry I can't wait till that becomes available so they actually kept it for you all hopefully seriously let's go social some food now there's a couple of dishes we can get [Music] one is a stir-fry noodle and the others a burger I got both of course I got my stir-fry noodles first before my burger it's not just a simple stir-fry lo mein some shrimp scallops fish balls tasting the doors crunchy veggies I think that season nursery pretty typical petition stir-fry noodles was a good poster by noodles that's about a hundred times 32 that thing I had simple delicious I'm starting to feel a little better now this this is I think I'm really like a satisfying play right here raucous actually oh man that is a beef patty lips think it's pretty juicy too smells really good okay yeah that's not that for airplane burger huh that is not a bad burger curly fries the best Dale really stale the burger is really not too shabby these relative agency the bug is preventable much better than what I could have anticipated but what the Singapore quite the bun was like feels pretty hard especially Helloween toast just perfectly my hunger spot has definitely hit it breakfast time some porridge chicken with asparagus whole food I think this is a fermented food and then we have some pickles buting and some pork flaws Subhan Allah if you never had this before don't put this whole thing in your mouth that would be a huge mistake these you can just add in here probably this as well so this goes in here this goes in here and sum up this building here you'd also heat this with the egg if you want Leslie I'm not a huge kanji lover I don't love mushy rice and all the different positive is good fermented tofu actually right you've never had it before it is a really funky flavor Taiwanese people love kanji really just not my thing beckons hi one airport a cannon this this country is so obsessed with Hello Kitty it's like everywhere Hello Kitty phones and whatever this is it's like Hello Kitty's house oh yeah that's a breastfeeding room I didn't ask you to sign just nice spread [Music] of course how'd it make a yeah called soda everything hero is vegetarian like the noodles are all vegetarian dad a sausage got a salty ducky with some buns should be pretty good eating overall wasn't really impressed with the food on you by Airlines but we'll talk about the whole thing when we get to the hotel I'm gonna get some food and then catch my flight to Bangkok I was looking for this shop last time this is the place with all the free sample Taiwanese sausages they also got the free simple pan application well sugar this country the sausages and this pineapple okay so well is this what happens when dark vader's Asian we're gonna Bangkok I'm taking tire lines and almost was the flag because my mic phone squattin calibrated it's okay [Music] if you serve food on this flag but it's kanji again [Music] I got big plans we get the Thailand Chinatown [Music] I've no idea what one right now I am way overdressed because I've like stuff on my pockets off tough it outside the hotel first night gonna be at the double toe nice and this is the program I'm here for oh this is min by the way what is this oh this for me wow thank you the Jasmine there girls followed that's beautiful thanks so much for its my room my little name tag you this little owl guy beautiful swimming pool oh I haven't been back in Thailand for I think it's been two years been a while I don't know why I like it I didn't think about coming back here until until I was reached out to by the beds by this program I gotta come back to Thailand just to start just to film some of my own videos but I don't think I have enough time on this trip so a little summary about the Eva airline business class experience the service I will give a 10 I mean I rank that up there with a na Singapore leg this is some of the best service you can get people are so courteous so nice it's so incredibly helpful they didn't judge me at all when I ordered a burger and um you know what that's always appreciated the seats were comfortable but the space was a little tighter I felt then Singapore airline obviously I think China Airlines as well in terms of entertainment there wasn't that many movies so I was suggested you're gonna go on a long-haul flight bring your own stuff now the most important thing the food I I was so excited I heard such great things about the food on Eva but I feel like that's an area where it kind of fell short by a lot I mean granted I think I made a mistake because what I order was probably not the best thing on the menu but it was so bad I mean the noodles it was just you can it's just so bad the burger was probably the best thing I had there the stir-fried noodles were I mean they're just typical stir-fried noodles nothing special it's not bad is not great and I think when compared to the other Taiwan airline China airline the food on Eva is not nearly as good so the service I will give ten out of ten the comfort I will give a 8.5 out of 10 food I will have to say about a six point five out of ten but I would definitely fly them again because overall it was a great experience so this program I'm going on it starts tomorrow well tonight there's a dinner and then tomorrow I'm leaving about five o'clock in the morning we're up in Adam and flying to Chama and I think I mentioned as at the beginning this program is called think rice think Thailand and the purpose is to promote the premium great rice here in Thailand anyway this is gonna be such a fun trip but I originally wanted to do was I wanted to go visit Chinatown when I have a food tour I was trying to fly in a day before this thing started so I could you know have at least one day to do some exploring but I totally forgot about to lose one day thing my flights a donor should really take away my Asian card so probably gonna have that much time with that I think what I'm gonna try to do is actually go buy some pants that's not jeans I think all the traveling right before this trip totally messed up my brain anyway I'm gonna try to plan out my day and then I guess I'll see you at dinner maybe get a workout in before the end [Music]
