Korean Airlines Business Class FOOD REVIEW! WORST Food Menu New York to Manila

good morning i could hear the wind howling in my hotel room and i was freezing all night even with the temperature even with the heater blasting it's about six o'clock in the morning i'm gonna head to the airport uh but before then there's there's a guilty pleasure i want to partake in i love arby's i haven't had it in so long and it's open at like 6 30 in the morning good breakfast choice i got a double roast beef and i just put my thumb in horsey sauce i think my brain is frozen this is the smoke house fried onions brisket i love restaurants that serve their full menu whenever and of course they're curly fries that's the best let's notice this brisket sandwich is like almost more fried onions than beef oh yeah arby's roast beef may look really chemically enhanced but it still tastes good this is perfect because right now probably the best i can get at the airport is an egg sandwich [Music] weirdly delicious mystery meat perfect breakfast to jumpstart my day [Music] next time i'm outside it's going to be 90 degrees more extreme to the other this time i'm flying korean air business class of course i'm going to review all the food everything on board for you guys and i think my korean's getting better because every time i go to the counter and say hello in korean they all think i'm korean which i i am 8.4 percent [Music] so food in the first class in business class lounges for korean airlines pretty much the same some chips little sandwiches this is why you eat before you come to the airport [Music] here it is i think korean air is like one of the only major eastern asian airlines where the business class seats are like right next to each other so it's gonna be slight inconvenience if you need to go to the restroom if you're sitting like by the window it is not nearly as much privacy as the other airlines also again everyone i met is speaking to me in korean does that mean jackie chan looks korean lots of like space screen is pretty big you got a bunch of compartments at the window a couple little nooks over here [Music] i love these this will be really useful here we go appetizer crab meat salad with prosciutto rolls in the melon i feel like food on korean airlines really never changed i had this before and they always off the bibimbap and the bibimbap is the same whether you're in business class first class economy is the same dish so you can't really go wrong with that but i had that so many times since i flew this airline i'm going for the tenderloin for the main course dinner i can choose between the bulgogi roasted chicken udon noodles definitely the bulgogi and for snacks that you can order whenever you want they have ramen and fresh cookie not a huge selection but i remember this being really really really good they're still nice here and the flight attendant asked if she she could if she had permission to wake me up if i'm asleep when they're serving the meal so i told her yeah drop a picture of ice water if you have to wake me up for food and i got pretty lucky today not a lot of people are in a business class here so this means easy toilet access [Music] it's got a really nice surprising smoky flavor to it nothing almost tastes like it came off a charcoal grill that's really nice thank you this is a pretty appetizer [Music] the first time i had the ham and fruit combo was in florence italy just genius this is a really refreshing appetizer good amounts of meat to balance out the vegetables and this is just so pretty [Music] uh beef seems fairly tender [Music] that's not a bad pizza steak for airplane meal sauce is good lots of rosemary flavor um it's slightly tough but way more tender than i thought it was gonna be very peppery only thing is you know nice tasting piece of steak like you you really shouldn't associate with uh horrible things like broccoli [Music] potatoes are okay not extremely flavorful it's basically tastes like a baked potato with not enough salt really not bad dessert's pretty a little brownie with matcha inside wow this cake is drier than this steak oh that is hard to eat oh man really really dense i think you might need a whole pot of tea to eat this cake always get the ice cream always get the ice cream that should be a life lesson to us all you guys have a cool little bar lounge area here you can make cocktails for you and in my case they're going to make some mocktails for me little sandwiches snacks raspberry delight pineapple bliss i'll do something like this biscuit lemonade little drink little sandwich egg sandwich not bad this is the first flight i've been on that has a little lobby area where you can just kind of chill out it's really nice because sometimes you just want to sit down but not out of your seat i think after dish is ramen time i know this is packaged ramen but this bread actually looks pretty good noodles with a little bit of dry fish jalapeno chili peppers some funchan pickles radish freshly baked cookies this looks better than what i had at lunch [Music] tastes like basic sheen ramen but it's spicy it's comforting it feels good in my stomach fish is like doesn't really taste like fish but definitely enjoy this more than my steak mancha's really good [Music] good morning evening it's about midnight in new york and it's morning time in korea which is where i'm making a pissed off so i guess this is breakfast slash dinner beef bulgogi mushrooms spinach they actually ran out of this dish after i ordered it and the flight attendant came by and as if i could order a different dish because apparently too many people ordered this dish but luckily there's still one left [Music] i have one hour to get to my connection play literally everyone i'm running into thinks i'm korean when i say like i don't understand in english um they seem pretty upset maybe they think i'm a korean person which is like failed at his heritage which i 8.4 am i was kind of worried because i only had one hour uh between my connections but i was out of security in like 10 minutes if this was japan i'd be waiting in this long line with basically everybody else who's transferring from all over the globe and i'm standing in line for about an hour so this airport is really quick probably the second most beautiful airport outside of singapore's changi it's just clean and calm peaceful and tranquil and there's live music every time i'm here [Music] [Music] one thing about korean air it really doesn't have many movies the entire us catalogs about 30 movies i don't know if i should watch crazy radiation for the 20th time searching's a great movie by the way but i gotta tell something about this airline let the color scheme i'm not an artsy person i don't i don't notice stuff like color and design but it's just very calming pretty color another meal on this plate there's that bibimbap again chinese style seafood in the korean beef bone soup i had this when i flew uh with them last time as well tough choice it's good yeah yeah okay i'll do it safer yeah thank you so much [Music] like it's leaking i'm thinking part of this is from the lemon but there's a lot of liquid here just doesn't look like all that appetizer the thing is i'm already not really into rawish foods so that's why this is looking particularly intimidating [Music] just the stir-fry seafood veggies noodles and black bean sauce personally i love anything in blackbeard's song [Music] flavor's not bad calamari's little rubber bandisque hope this helps [Music] that helps a lot this actually tastes halfway decent now with the spicy paste i mean noodles what can i say [Music] one of those dishes where the bok choy might be the best thing in this plate i think bin bin bob wore the oxtail soup would have been a lot better than this i mean it's okay it doesn't taste bad it's also not really good either never go wrong with this [Music] welcome to manila pretty soon this jacket is going to become ridiculously obsolete i'm glad i got here at night it's not super super hot definitely feel the humidity [Music] so security at hotels are kind of crazy here they have to check the trunk they sweep under the cars there's the gate to just a regular hotel just a regular marriott canine unit in the back i feel like i'm back at the airport [Music] oh wow look at this fresh mangoes two of them that's actually exactly what i want right now room is pretty big nice looking bed you guys think less of me for taking this back to the us so when i stay in hotels over there and they don't offer slippers i have slippers is that that's smart right gorgeous bathroom in my house you will find a drawer with about 50 sewing kits because you never know when you lose a button i love it when i have like a little room of solitude for when you go proof this is very important shower's nice this is a really really really nice hotel and i think i have a balcony you guys can't see this because gopro can't handle this low light but it's overlooking a golf course all right i did not realize it was so late it's 11 30. i thought i'll get here by 10 by 11 30 at night the smartest thing is uh just to go to bed and just to summarize my korean business class review the service of korean airline is on parallels it's right up there with singapore airlines japan airline ama is some of the best service you'll ever find 10 out of 10 on that but the way business class is situated it's kind of annoying if you're sitting in a window seat to try to go to the bathroom because there's no obstacle free access to the bathroom you're going to be bothering your neighbor not a lot of privacy you're literally sitting right next to your neighbor there's not even a pull-up screen to kind of separate you guys if you want to fly business class you're looking for a lot of privacy this will probably not be the airline for you also food i feel like this airline is probably one of the weakest when it comes to that it's the same bim bob and the same oxtail uh soup that's been on the menu for forever i mean they're they're really tasty but the menu really does not change besides the breakfast lunch and dinner the snacks or the foods you can order any time you want the selection is just very underwhelming singapore airline japan airline a a has a much wider selection than korean airline i love the little lobby area where you can show that's definitely a plus but overall food i have to give them about a six out of ten the good thing about it besides the service is that you do have a ton of leg room i mean a lot of airlines that kind of triangulates you so your feet's kind of like almost in a mummified position but here is why it is comfortable i got some good sleep on the flight so if service and comfort is all you're looking for on a business class flight this is a great airline for you honestly the service on most of these major asian airlines are pretty good so i think after this experience if i had to list out my favorite business class airlines that i've flown on i'll have to say number one singapore number two a a and number three j a l and those are my top three and honestly they're priced pretty similar and when it comes to food i think my favorite is yeah it's still singapore airlines because singapore airlines has booked the cook which is amazing you get to choose your meals especially made for you before you board the plane and it actually tastes incredible anyway that's my review of korean airline business class i'm going to go to bed 11 30 here i got a long day tomorrow i've got a week here in the philippines a lot of amazing food so so excited thank you guys so much for watching this video you
