Escape Room in a Box!! - Can I solve Davy Jones' Locker?

[Music] [Music] hi and welcome to another episode of mr puzzle i got amazing news for you the ones of you follow my channel for some time already probably notice this puzzle here it's called clue box a very successful puzzle and it's not a regular puzzle box it's a so-called escape room in the box so you need to solve and follow several clues here on the outside of this box to finally open this puzzle up and solve it so it's really like a small escape room experience i heard a lot of positive feedback from this box if you would like to see the solution of this one you can check it up here but today's video is not about this clue box today's video is about this glue box also created by id venture in germany this time they decided to start a kickstarter campaign so that it can be the box the brand new puzzle you see here is called the davey jones locker it's again a escape room in a box and not a common or regular puzzle box where all of these clues you see here on the outside should help you to open up the box and if you hear the name davey jones locker you guessed it probably already right this has a pirate themed puzzle and the target of course is to somehow open it up there are a lot of sliders and things are here on all sides all of them seems to be movable you can see here and it seems to be full of riddles very interesting puzzle so again if you're interested to else i wish you a lot of fun watching my first attempt of solving this jv jones locker after the spoiler break okay here we go so let's have a look at this puzzle and let's first understand where we need to start at all because on the clue box there was this track of arrows that gave you let's say some kind of an idea where to start while on this one there's nothing like that and i have right now no idea where to start so there are some steering wheels here and if i twist them these symbols here on these wheels can be somehow it can be always shown two of them and there is a path ah okay there is a path up here so let's see if somewhere can find these symbols no idea about the meaning and this on the bottom side this puzzle here which also contains some sliding pieces a shark over here a fish ah okay so there's a fish so the fish need probably you go over here there's a shark shark need to go over here so i will bring them in the right configuration now no idea what happens if i do so ah okay here's here's the starting point it seems so i will solve this puzzle here first it's kind of a sliding puzzle and there are also more symbols there's small symbols in here like this lighthouse and a symbol here in the upper right corner and this is what i will uh um where we'll put the pieces now [Music] ah there are always two symbols connected you see this it's the dolphin and the island connected to the stingray and the bottle what does it mean is it referring to up here maybe yes these are the same symbols up here yes okay so let's let's try this we got dolphin and island island and maybe the dolphins up here no okay so there are no fish here so maybe we only need to look after the symbols so we got an island and a bottle so we got an island and we got the bottle maybe like so but i do not know where to place them if i need to place them here and this seems to be the one cross and boat now i got the combinations right so i got bottle and island i got cannon and anchor i got boat and cross and mountains and lighthouse and now yes now i can lift it here but what does it help me two arrows on this piece you can see them over here the two sliders over here with the same arrows so probably means won't need to be over here the other one need to be over there and we have west and east here so i need maybe i need to work through it step by step by step the downside from top to to the downside this is a east and west oh i can take this out put this over here maybe i need to move it all the way around yes and now i can take out this this one oh and i can take off the first compartment here you need to do anything with it where is it i think i'm done with this not sure if i will need this again well it seems there's more to it i can twist these semi circles here and there's some symbols down here visible which maybe help me help me to decode something that will happen later let's see so now it tells me go to the skull skulls down here maybe i can use this to push it something inside i'm not sure what this means but maybe i just need to somehow figure out or open this compartment down here i don't know yet i got these symbols here and they look somewhat to me like zodiacs or something i don't know like stars and maybe this will help me here it could be because there are some stars shown on these but also there are you see these little guys here and i saw these before down here i think i think i need to find the right combination ah yes you see all these arrows here over here and they are pointing on these symbols so i probably need to put them in the right combination and if i do so then i will be able to unlock the second layer maybe i don't know and yes i know you don't need to write it in the comments i know this can be brute forced and i also know of course the lock-picking lawyer would pick this in one minute yes i also know that but i'm not the lock-picking lawyer and therefore i need to somehow figure it out what's the meaning behind this what i do not understand is this can slide but this one cannot which makes no sense ah okay now i got it you saw this it's a slider not this is clever there's a slider behind this walls this one cannot be slided but i can put it over here you can see there's another slider hidden behind this wall so this slider can slide and then the next one can slide over there and then this one no this one ah oh yes this locker can slide what does it mean these are now the same symbols as here on these disks so let's see what we got here we got a combination again we got this symbol combined with that one always two of these signs combined so let's just see what happens if we do this over here right uh left arm down right arm up these i see these stars here let's see if i can find something which looks kind of similar oh yes there are of course you see it's not four it's like six yes i think it's that one so i place the arrow over here okay just noted it down that i will find it again and let's continue yes and i think i can slide on take out this slider and here we go yes oh this is so satisfying and taking off the next one wow and now is it solved already no still not solved it seems i can push this left and right [Music] but i can't okay so any hint here what to do next oh here we go so i need to put it in here push it in the right place now they are interact which is which is other and now i can take off the lid and we go yes [Music] find us to get one davey jones i think or i hope that this is the solution the final solution and there's nothing hidden be done the difficulty level i would rate with a level 3 out of a maximum of 5 the most common rating it took me quite some time but i think it consists out of several puzzles that need to be solved step by step by step but it's definitely doable it's not something that's unsolved but i think pretty much everyone after some time and thinking about these individual puzzles here contained in this
